Cellbit just wanted Roier to be happy, even if it wasn't by his side and he was going to explain that but Roier's tired voice interrupted him.

"Pendejo... I told you, didn't I? I told you that if something happened to you I wouldn't stop until I found you... I promised I would come for you no matter what... I don't give a shit about the reason why you stayed on Egg Island"

"I-..." Cellbit tried to start a sentence but stopped when he felt his husband's cold touch against his cheek.

"Look me in the eyes and tell me to go away... tell me you never want me to look for you again... only then I'll leave you alone, did you hear that? filho da puta"

Even if Cellbit wanted to, he couldn't do that.

He couldn't lie to those brown eyes.

So he didn't say anything. Instead, he put his hand on Roier's in an attempt to give him some warmth.

"I knew it" it was barely visible, but a tired smile appeared on Roier's face "you can't fool me, pendejo"

"You're right, I can't... Guapito" Cellbit smiled slightly when he pronounced that nickname.

Cellbit laughed softly as he helped his husband up.

to address the Thea stuff. the reasons ppl don't like her kinda matched to what I said at the end about ppl being more willing to forgive the white characters for things:

1. the age gap. it's only 4 years, and any relationship only begins after kevin is 18. and he was the one who had a crush on her when he was younger, not the other way around. People tend to spread lies about this, things that weren't said in the ec such as saying they're relationship started when he was 14 and she was 18, which I mentioned in my original anon.

2. the 'agression'. I don't think she's aggressive. she was angry yeah, which she had every right to be after kevin ghosted her. he was obviously going through a lot, but of course given he didn't communicate this, she didn't know. she can only work off what she knows. again I just see this as the fandom being very uncharitable to her. kevin chokes neil when he's angry so I really don't think she's the aggressive one in this relationship. and if she is, she's not alone.

3. devotion to the ravens. again, so is kevin. People forgive him for this because he's obviously been brainwashed by them. but so has she. again, just seems like people forgiving other characters for things they wouldn't forgive her for.

4. randomness of relationship with kevin. I don't think it's random? I'm not a fan of their relationship, but people love to ship kevin/Jean primarily cause they were ravens together. kevin and Thea were ravens together, it makes sense they'd grow close. they're both also very dedicated to exy, a common reason people ship neil/kevin. so idk? to everyone's taste ofc, but it still isn't a valid reason for her to get the hate she gets.

idk necessarily about people liking her more if she was a fox. probably? she's very similar to kevin, and people like him. and I can imagine people not liking him if he stayed a Raven and we saw him through a fox perspective. so you're probably right.

on her only having a scene or two and not being very likeable in them. I guess again, it asks the question of why she's not likeable in these scenes? I think people don't want to view things from her perspective, and there can be a lot of reasons for that ofc.

Jean has more scenes than her, but he's not 'likeable' in many of them. He's rude, just like Thea was. He holds Neil down when he's getting tortured. He arguably should be more disliked, but he's not. I think people are more willing to offer him understanding because they're more willing to see things from his perspective. He acts this way because he's a traumatised cult member, and that's exactly why Thea acts the way she does.

It's hard to describe the hate people have for her if you haven't seen it much, but more often than not it goes far beyond 'this character just doesn't show up much so idrc'. People tend to hate her with a passion similar to the hate they view Riko with. Again, people call her abusive and a pedophile semi-reguarly. It goes beyond her just being a little unlikeable.

There was a motivation for a decent number of fans to spread these lies about her character, and I'm curious what that motivation was I suppose? cause I certainly don't do that for characters I just find unlikeable. Or characters that didn't have many scenes. Even if most fans aren't actively racist, they've bought into and fueled lies that were likely spread with racist motivation.

i honestly don't really disagree with you on anything (like the age gap wasn't something I personally ever paid attention to, I was saying that's what other people have a problem with. and honestly I do think that's fair for them, it just never stuck out to me) except for the fourth point bc I will maintain that their relationship is random. not random in a 'these two people are incompatible' way but in a 'the first time we hear Kevin even has a girlfriend is like 2/3 into the last book of the series and the chemistry (to me at least) seemed incredibly lacking but we're supposed to assume they're in love'

but I think you just might be overestimating how much people think about her. again: she's a very very minor character and I don't think people will necessarily go out of their way to see things through her perspective because of that. honestly I feel like what you said about Jean explains it p well: he does worse things than Thea but, even though he's also minor, we see way more of him than Thea we see him vulnerable and at his worst and there's more there that shapes him as a complex person. I genuinely think that if she had even as much screen time as Jean it'd be a different conversation.

but however, out of all the minor characters in the series she is one of the ones that gets the least mercy from the fans and that definitely feels racist to me. i don't think people need to explain and dissect why they dislike a character (especially characters as complicated as Nora's) but the fact that it's so easy for fans to just jump on a hate train for the only canon WOC is deeply unsettling.

I think the complexity of Nora's characters actually make aftg fans really weird and intense when it comes to defending/attacking characters. I remembered being rlly taken aback by the Aaron and Nicky and like Allison hate that I saw when I first started engaging with other fans because so much of it just seemed not true and wayyyy overexaggerated??? idk if it's the fans themselves or the content that makes them so intense but.

After saving the land before them Zelda and link were tied and they need to sleep. So they went on there Horse to the Village to Link’s house. As Zelda was so happy she was also glad to know that all that had happened was all in the past.

Zelda was so happy to not be in the Castle trying to stay awake. Everything was fine now she was with Link. When they got about 4 hours away Zelda saw that there were some people out in the distance. She had not seen people in forever she said to link to set up camp for the night and she would go talk to the people and she would come back with some food so they could cook.

Link looked at the people in concern I will be fine just go set up camp he nodded his head. Zelda loved to see the blue sky and the birds and the sway of the grass she never wanted to it to end. When she started talking to the people they were a little of but she just thought that they were excited to see her they just offered bananas to her. All at once she remembered that Link told her about a Yiga clans they would look like a normal person but they were not.

she screamed “Link” he came running at full speed and right on time the Yiga clan members were not the week kind but the much harder to kill ones. One did have a bow though Link killed the one with a sword first but the one with a bow was so fast Link told Zelda to run back to camp she didn’t want to leave him alone but she went behind a big rocks and hid.

Zelda Hurd nothing but a sweet sound of a little bird chirping in the distance. Then she heard a scream it sounded like a link she ran all the way to him the Yiga was not dead but it retreated because it has fulfill its duties. It had shot Link right in the chest with his bow 4 times he was wheezing and gasping for air. Link grabbed two of the arrows and pulled them out. Zelda squinted with fear she knew that it needed to be tended to right away. But all she had was bananas and a small cloth she was watching him grab the other two arrows and he was pulling them out. He Was in a great amount of pain. She tried to talk to him for the very first time she said “ we need to get you to a stable first but we then will rush to Hatnao village”. Link tried to speak but the pain took over.

“shh you need to save your strength right now” Zelda said. She could tell that he Was in A lot of pain. Blood started to turn his clothes red and Zelda new that she will need to hurry or he wouldn’t make it! she said to him can you get on the horse he said. I-can try-to get on…. She was getting so worried that he wouldn’t be able to make it. She helped him get on the horse and they started to ride.

after about an hour or so it started to get worse they were about 20 minutes away from the staple. And he fell off his horse Zelda jumped off and rushed to the side. He was Groaning with pain as much more blood came out. At this time he was as white as the cloud He was barely breathing and struggling when he was. They finally got to a stable she found some cloth and wiped off the wound with some water. He was wincing with pain she didn’t want it to be painful but she wanted to be clean.

she turned one of the horses in so they could ride together in and he can rest. Zelda did not notice how much blood he had Lost buddy was struggling because of the blood loss they were almost to the village about only 30 minutes away when it started to get worse blood was rushing out now and Zelda was worried. The time before his eyes were open but his eyes started the clothes slowly.

Zelda knew it had to be because of blood loss or was that the reason she turned around and stop the horse she put her hand to Link’s for head he had a very high fever. She knew that the fever was going to cause some pain and some discomfort but she knew she had to get to the village that was all of her concern. when she made it to the village people came running out of their houses link was not awake anymore so They took him to his house and laid him down on the bed. Zelda fell asleep on the bedside Well they tend to his wounds.

She was still very worried for him but than her friend pura came in she said check it her normal thing she looked at link and said what happened Zelda explain to the story as pura made some food on the stove for when he woke up and fore them of course. They talked for hours then Link woke up wai-r am I… don’t worry you’re in your house he fell back asleep after about 20 minutes he was obviously exhausted from blood loss and a fever. After he was all better and able to walk again I Zelda and him continue their adventures as one! The end. Was thinking a lot about Cass’s @somerandomdudelmao most recent comic,, specifically the little sketches of Casey, Leo, and Mikey sleeping under some covers and couldn’t help myself…

When asked, Leo would tell Casey that his nightmares are rare, and usually dull. Surprisingly not about the Krang directly, but instead finding family members who were injured from an “unknown” enemy.

“It’s more like a vivid picture.” Leo had told Casey long ago. “Everything else fades away when I wake up and I’m left with a scene playing on loop for a bit. Then that fades away too.” The slider ruffles his hair fondly, “But don’t worry about me too much, they’re just nightmares anyway.”

When Raph agrees to be used as a generator, Leo’s first reaction is anger. Casey could hear him from down the hall, where the cave starts to narrow. His sharp tone bounces off the walls, echoing all around Casey and the main hall. Some of the other survivors look up for a moment, curious before recognizing the resistance leader’s voice. They shuffle away knowing that they shouldn’t hear this.

Then the shouting stops, and the caves are silent. A moment later, Leo and Raph walk out together. The former can’t look anyone in the eye as he announces that they have a new generator.

Raph is gone within the hour.

Most of Leo’s time is spent near Raph now. Either balanced on his metal knee, leaning on the side of his leg, or curled up in his palm when no one is looking. He still tends to each resistance fighter with the same care, but Casey has noticed a far off look in his eyes and an uncanny silence to him. He only talks when absolutely necessary, otherwise his lips are sealed in a tense frown.

With how worrisome his silence is, Leo makes up for it with physical comforts. Wrapping an arm around Casey and Mikey, he would pull them in together and lean his head down to rest on top of theirs. Casey notes that he mostly does it right as everyone wakes up. Still groggy with sleep, he would let his sensei gently pull him to his plastron before settling his head.

“G’morning, Sensei.”

“Good morning, Case.”

Then Leo would rise a few moments after, beelining towards where his eldest brother lay still. A lot of his “free” time is spent cleaning the dust off of Raph. The Hamato family’s way of grieving is understandable, so Casey didn’t think too much about his sensei’s more cuddly behavior in the mornings. That is, until one sleepless night, Casey hears a breath hitch and shifting of covers to his side. He rolls over slowly, glancing over to where Leo rests.

His sensei has curled into himself, a tense mound of a thin ratty blanket. Casey squints his eyes and notices his sensei’s face is scrunched in a grimace. That’s when it clicks in his head.

They’re just nightmares anyway.

Casey huffs, carrying his thicker blanket as he shuffles over to Leo. Gently, he tucks his own blanket around one side of the sliders’ shell, and slowly lowers himself while bringing the other side of his blanket over to him. As he settles, he hears a low grumble and a sniff behind him. Leo’s arm flops over Casey’s shoulders and pulls him in, and he feels the exact moment when his sensei starts to relax.

An hour later, Casey feels another cloth settle on top as he buries his head in Leo’s shoulder, his head cradled by the turtle’s hand. He hears Mikey shuffle under the covers on Leo’s other side and feels the shift of weight as Leo brings his other arm over his little brother as well. A long sigh is heard and finally Leo uncurls himself under the covers.

After that night, the three of them would find themselves sharing the same blankets and cloth as they drift off to sleep together.

When you did your finals on a Markiplier production

Your local film student had just finished a semester of Critical Study of Film. Yes, I know the name sounds generic. Prof said that on the first day and it will change. We discussed all sorts of things in class like control societies in The Truman Show and the heterotopia in Squid Game, as well as the abject in almost everything since that is prof's specialty. To be fair, I would talk about the abject in every film I watched for hours too.

For our final, my group and I did a presentation and essay on Interactive Films. Of course, I covered A Heist with Markiplier. I want to share with you guys and @markiplier himself (hopefully he sees this) the project. I will update prof's grading later.

I feel like Dionysus kids have nightmares about Ampithemis.

Like obviously Ampithemis is still stuck in Tartarus, but I still think Ampithemis' mania is strong enough to affect them even if he's in Tartarus.

And it makes sense too because they would smell like Dionysus. (I'm so sorry if you haven't read the sun and the star it sounds so weird out of context 😭)

i need to know about uli and matz in the new movie

How are they?are they good?did they get sidelined? I need to know!!!

well, basically all characters were kind of underdeveloped, so uli and matz are no exception.

matz got a bit of an extra backstory/storyline about him only doing boxing bc of his father, but that is mentioned in like. maybe three sentences total.

the fight scene was frankly embarrassing, he’s literally knocked out with one single hit 💀

ulis portrayal was fine imo. i expected him to get more of sebastian’s character traits since he’s „The Smart One“, but that wasn’t really the case.

one thing that is kind of a change in dynamics is that the externs are also the ones who bully him, when in the book, the guys who pick on uli are part of „their group“. (which is another reason why i think the interne vs externe thing doesn’t work as well)

i found the aftermath of his accident kind of disappointing tbh. we don’t even see if it had any impact on the other kids at all. i’m assuming not really?? 

he climbs onto the city wall because of a legend that says whoever achieves this rules the whole town. and he does actually make it, but everyone else starts arguing about wether that counts bc he used equipment and then uli slips and falls down.

the only impact his accident had (that i can tell, at least) is that the kids are suddenly like „whoa he had to go to the hospital,,, this rivalry has gone too far“ despite the fact that it didn’t really have much to do with the rivalry at all??

and the legend was made up too, so it was all for nothing apparently?? i don’t even know if ulis stunt helped to show the others that he’s not a coward. it’s not shown 

but like i said, this isn’t exclusive to uli and matz. none of the characters feel well rounded or developed to me. that’s probably because they decided to spend that time on drawing out the conflict between internet and externe (which i could also complain about, but that’s not what you asked)
