Which portrait of young Lafayette is considered to be the most accurate? There are quite a few, and while some of his features remain fairly consistent, there's certainly variety too (and, of course, artists loved to flatter their rich and important subjects).

A quick question and a very slow response. I am so sorry but as they say: Was lange währt, wird endlich gut …

Since I am not quite sure what specific age spectrum you had in mind, I am going to give a broad response.

There are three portraits of La Fayette in his early youth (pre-teen to early teenage years), although one of them I have only seen referenced in writing. There are not many descriptions of La Fayette during this time of his life, but still these portraits can be considered quite accurate, based on what we do know.

I know of three or so portraits of La Fayette in his mid to late teen years – there are even less physical descriptions of La Fayette from that time. One of these portraits is part of set of portraits, made of La Fayette and Adrienne shortly before their wedding. If you were to ask me, that portrait is indeed too flattering.

Once La Fayette came to America, we have two paintings of him (or featuring him) by Charles Willson Peale and I would consider them the most accurate depictions we have of him in his younger years. Do I find them artistically pleasing and generally well done? Honestly, no, but they tick many important boxes.

Then there is also this print.

This print has many variations (different angles, standing, sitting, looking to the side, looking at the viewer) and that alone makes assessment difficult. But these types of prints are closely linked to each other and to the bust by Houdon. Houdon was not only extremely skilled, he also took a life mask from La Fayette, therefor having a perfect cast of his features. The paintings by Peale show more detail and is easier to pin to a specific date/age but I would nevertheless consider these prints (with all the restrictions and problems listed above) to be faithful representations.

Hellooo my dear I hope you are well! <3333 I am arriving in your inbox with a question: I am doing this reading challenge where I'm trying to read a book for every country, and funnily enough countries with LOTS of options are really hard to pick from, lol. Of course I've read lots of Austrian books in my life already but... I thought I'd ask you for a recommendation (or more than one!!!): I'm considering Ingeborg Bachmann or Elfriede Jelinek cos I never read anything from either of them, but also I only ever read Schachnovelle from Stefan Zweig so maybe smth from him? Also btw die österreischische Literatur wiki page listed Christine Nöstlinger nicht und ich finde das ist literally kriminell ich hab sie als Kind geliebt LMAO Hab außerdem grad eben rausgefunden that Hugo von Hoffmansthal was gay. Somehow I didn't learn that little detail in school! Sorry for this mess of an ask but <3 I'm sending you gigantic hugs!

ich weiß nicht, ob ich gute Empfehlungen geben kann - ich lese nicht so viel von österreichischen Autor*innen. Bzw. bin ich wirklich schlecht mir Namen von Autor*innen und Buchtitel zu merken.

Eine Krimi-Reihe, die ich allerdings gerne lese sind die Salzburger-Krimis von Manfred Baumann. Er beschreibt darin besonders schön und ausführlich die Stadt und das Bundesland Salzburg und bindet auch die Geschichte davon toll in den jeweiligen Krimi mit ein. Bisher fand ich seine Bücher wirklich angenehm zu lesen, die Storyline ist nicht vorhersehbar und ich finde auch die Figuren gut beschrieben.

Ein anderer österreichischer Autor, der sehr gefeiert wird, ist Marc Elsberg, den du vielleicht eh schon kennst. Ich hab von ihm bisher nur "Blackout" gelesen, das fand ich allerdings auch gut (allerdings hab ich den Hype darum nicht unbedingt verstanden 😂 like, es war gut, aber nicht SO gut 😂). Ich hab schon mit einigen gesprochen, die alle seine Bücher gelesen haben, die fanden das "Gier" sein bestes Buch ist.

Ein Kinderbuchautor, den in Österreich wirklich JEDER kennt, ist Thomas Brezina (ich hab als Kind auch fast alle seiner Bücher gelesen) - nur der Vollständigkeit halber, damit ich alle Autor*innen beisammen habe.

Ich glaube, mit Elfriede Jelinek kann man wirklich gar nichts falsch haben - sie ist eine großartige Autorin! Ich fand "Die Liebhaberinnen" von ihr wirklich faszinierend!

Mehr fällt mir momentan aus dem Stand leider nicht ein, sollte ich noch einen Geistesblitz haben, dann schreibe ich dir 😂 fühl' dich gedrückt! 🫂💕💕

It's kinda wird that you feel that way since Melone express his love all the time, but maybe the way he does so confuses you.

And then he'll softly speak to you, telling you that is okay to feel insecure, he doesn't invalidate you for feeling that way, he'll ask you about what do you feel that he could do to help you.

Of course he'll tell you that you are really important to him, he loves you and only you and those feelings are real.

Will take your advice of what he can do to help you and will try to express his love with words more often.

Now, for a moment you'll get to see his softie side.

He may be a prude, but he knows what does it feel to be insecure and he doesn't want you to feel that way.

And yeah, maybe it's his fault since all the time he looks like a shitty boyfriend, but his feelings are deep down, he doesn't show them often.

Sometimes he chooses to be a dick when he knows he can do better with you, he doesn't mean to, it just happens.

For you, he'll try to change his ways, at least in private, he wants you to know that he's there for you and he loves you.

Sie waren alle famos - Ich kann mich sogar zwischen ihr und Florian Thunemann nicht entscheiden, wer besser war - also mache ich es auch nicht. 

Das hat einfach nur Spaß gemacht! War irre witzig. Kommt locker an die Inszenierung aus Berlin ran, die ich 2019 gesehen habe. 

She has a phenomenal theatre voice...goosebumps...

Soooo much Alberich and Boerne - Vibes in the first 20 minutes. Had to control my thoughts. Failed now and then...because...really...that call...come on!!! That was straight out of “Limbus” or “Mord ist die beste Medizin!”

And OMG she’s got nice legs too - yes, we saw them - bared. They look so smooth... :D 

Das Beste war wohl, dass man gemerkt hat, wie sehr sie die Rolle mag. Dieses hidden agenda-Ding. Die Rolle ist so grau, hinterhältig und intrigant. Man hat ihr die pure Spielfreude wirklich angesehen. Dass sie Lust auf solche Rollen hat. Und das Größending hat überhaupt keine Rolle gespielt. 0,00000000-Nicht. Man vergisst es zwischen drin wirklich selbst.

Alberich...I mean ChrisTine...I mean Kathrin has a knife - watch out!!!!!!!! :D She even threw it!

And boy, she can be pretty scary. You really don’t want to be her husband and the end of this...well...game.

She won not fair and square but in a dubious and very manipulative way.

But sorry, guys. She’s earned it. 

I always liked her character in this play, even back in 2019. Had a fight with my late best friend over it. I won that argument too. :D (Sending greetings to heaven for this one, dear Marco. :))

Her eyes are really something else. So beautiful and clear. Perfect colour and shape....ok I stop...but really... 

Her singing voice is great too. So strong but also kinda of soft and warm...

I love her sassy-bitchy-me-Persona very much. (Note to myself: Need to write an AxB-Fanfiction like that...ooC take that.)

Aso: Die Inszenierung ansonsten war auch mega gut, sehr witzig, qualitativ absolut hohes Niveu. (Nur Elisabeth Ebner, die ich schon in Berlin gesehen habe, war heute etwas schwächer meiner Meinung nach. Florian Thunemann war unfassbar brillant und Paul Schaeffer passte gut ins Boerne-Vibe-Schema für mich. :D)

Last but not least: 

I MISSED YOU THE WHOLE TIME AND THOUGHT OF YOU. 

Really! Especially at the end...no one to “fachsimpeln” with...no one to just drink a glass of wine or something else with afterwards...next time...Please!

TITLE: The Littlest Timelord: Cracks in Time Chapter 4 PAIRING: No Pairing RATING: T CHAPTER: 4/? SUMMARY: A little girl escapes the Time War when the Timelord’s return in “End of Time Part 2″. The newly regenerated Doctor must now raise the little girl while trying to find out why cracks in time keep following them around.

[A/N - I think 3 pages is going to be our standard with this story.]

“What's that?” the red haired woman asked the Doctor.

“Well, that would be back up. Okay, one more time. We do have back up and that's definitely why we're safe”.

“Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated”.

“Well, safe apart from, you know, incineration”, the Doctor added.

Prisoner Zero left the house as the Doctor continued to try and free himself.

“Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated”.

The Doctor started banging his screwdriver on the floor. “Come on, work, work, work, come on. This would be so much easier if you had one”, he told Elise, “Remind me to make you one. Would you like one?”

Elise just shrugged. She didn’t even know what the device was or what it was supposed to do.

“Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated”.

The Doctor finally unlocked the handcuffs. “Run! Run!” He grabbed the redhead’s hand and Elise’s and pulled them over to the stairs.

“Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated”.

They ran out into the garden, towards the TARDIS.

“Kissogram?” the Doctor asked the redhead.

“Yes, a kissogram. Work through it”.

“Why'd you pretend to be a policewoman?”

“You broke into my house. It was this or a French maid. What's going on? Tell me. Tell me!”

“An alien convict is hiding in your spare room disguised as a man and a dog, and some other aliens are about to incinerate your house. Any questions?”

“Yes”.

“Me too”. The Doctor pulled out his key and tried unlocking the TARDIS, but the doors wouldn’t open. “No, no, no, no! Don't do that, not now! It's still rebuilding. Not letting us in”.

“Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated”.

“Come on”, the redhead told him, pulling him away from the TARDIS.

He pulled away from her and ran towards a shed. “No, wait, hang on. Wait, wait, wait, wait. The shed. I destroyed that shed last time I was here. Smashed it to pieces”.

“So there's a new one. Let's go”.

“Yeah, but the new one's got old. It's ten years old at least”. The Doctor sniffed the shed and then licked his fingers. “Twelve years. I'm not six months late, I'm twelve years late”.

“He's coming”.

“You said six months. Why did you say six months?”

“We've got to go”.

“This matters. This is important. Why did you say six months?”

“Why did you say five minutes!”

It finally dawned on the Doctor that the woman standing in front of him was little Amelia Pond. Elise had thought she looked and sounded familiar.

“What?” the Doctor asked her.

“Come on”.

“What?”

“Come on!”

“What?” Amy grabbed the Doctor by the hand and dragged him after her, Elise following behind them.

“Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated”.

The three of them were walking through the village trying to get as far away as possible from Prisoner Zero.

“You're Amelia!” the Doctor said.

“And you're late”.

“Amelia Pond. You're the little girl”.

“I'm Amelia and you're late”.

“What happened?”

“Twelve years”.

“You hit me with a cricket bat”.

“Twelve years”.

“A cricket bat”.

“Twelve years and four psychiatrists”.

Elise wondered what a psychiatrist was. Earth was such a weird planet.

“Four?” the Doctor asked.

“I kept biting them”.

“Why?”

“They said you weren't real”.

“Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated. Repeat”.

The announcement was coming out of an ice cream van.

“No, no, no, come on. What? We're being staked out by an ice-cream van”, Amy said.

Ice cream? What was ice cream? Was it like custard? Elise had so many questions. Questions that would most likely be answered once they dealt with Prisoner Zero. Would it always be like this with the Doctor?

“Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated”.

“What's that? Why are you playing that?” the Doctor asked the ice cream man.

“It's supposed to be Claire De Lune”.

“Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated. Repeat. Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated”.

The announcement was coming from everything electronic.

“Doctor, what's happening?” Amy asked.

“Repeat, Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated”.

The Doctor burst into the nearest home which happened to be the home of a Mrs. Angelo. “Hello! Sorry to burst in. We're doing a special on television faults in this area”, he told her.

Amy and Elise ran in after him.

“Also crimes. Let's have a look”. The Doctor ran over to the TV and messed with the remote.

“I was just about to phone. It's on every channel. Oh, hello, Amy dear. Are you a policewoman now?” Mrs. Angelo asked.

“Well, sometimes”.

“I thought you were a nurse”.

“I can be a nurse”.

“Or actually a nun?”

“I dabble”.

“Amy, who are your friends?”

“Who's Amy? You were Amelia”, the Doctor said.

“Yeah? Now I'm Amy”, she told him.

“Amelia Pond. That was a great name. Like Elise”. The Doctor gently ran a hand over Elise’s hair as the little Timelord smiled.

“Bit fairy tale”.

“I know you, don't I? I've seen you somewhere before”, Mrs. Angelo said.

“Not me. Brand new face”. The Doctor opened his mouth making a silly face that made Elise giggle. “First time on. And what sort of job's a kissogram?” he asked Amy.

“I go to parties and I kiss people. With outfits. It's a laugh”.

“You were a little girl five minutes ago”. “You're worse than my aunt”.

“I'm the Doctor. I'm worse than everybody's aunt. And that is not how I'm introducing myself”.

The Doctor soniced the radio and the message came out in various different languages.

“Repetez. Le Prisonnier. Zero wird der menschliche”.

“Okay, so it's everywhere, in every language. They're broadcasting to the whole world”. The Doctor walked over to the window and looked out.

“What's up there? What are you looking for?” Amy asked him.

“Okay. Planet this size, two poles, your basic molten core? They're going to need a forty percent fission blast”.

A young man entered the house and the Doctor walked up to him as he continued talking.

“But they'll have to power up first, won't they? So assuming a medium sized starship, that's 20 minutes. What do you think, twenty minutes? Yeah, twenty minutes. We've got twenty minutes”.

“Twenty minutes to what?” Amy asked him.

“Are you the Doctor?” the young man asked.

“He is, isn't he? He's the Doctor! The Raggedy Doctor. All those cartoons you did when you were little. The Raggedy Doctor. It's him”, Mrs. Angelo said.

“Shut up”, Amy whispered. “Cartoons?” the Doctor asked.

“Gran, it's him, isn't it? It's really him!” the young man said.

The Doctor walked over to the couch and sat down on it.

“Jeff, shut up. Twenty minutes to what?” Amy repeated.

“The human residence will be incinerated. Repeat”.

“The human residence. They're not talking about your house, they're talking about the planet. Somewhere up there, there's a spaceship, and it's going to incinerate the planet”, the Doctor explained.

As soon as the Doctor mentioned the planet burning, Elise screamed and ran to the Doctor. She wrapped her arms around his legs as she shook her head.

“Hey, hey, it’s okay”, he cooed.

She shook her head again.

The Doctor placed his hand on her temple as he was transported into her mind. Gallifrey was burning. He picked her up and held her close to him, hoping his hearts beating would comfort her.

“…will be incinerated. Repeat, Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated”.

“Twenty minutes to the end of the world”, the Doctor told them.

“Repeat, Prisoner Zero will vacate 'the human residence, or the human residence will be incinerated”.

The Doctor, Amy, and Elise left the house and walked around the village as the Doctor tried to come up with a plan.

“What is this place? Where are we?” the Doctor asked Amy.

“Leadworth”.

“Where's the rest of it?”

“This is it”.

“Is there an airport?”

“No”.

“A nuclear power station?”

“No”.

“Even a little one?”

“No”.

“Nearest city?”

“Gloucester. Half an hour by car”.

“We don't have half an hour. Do we have a car?”

“No”.

“Well, that's good. Fantastic, that is. Twenty minutes to save the world and I've got a post office. And it's shut. What is that?” The Doctor ran over a pond.

“It's a duck pond”.

“Why aren't there any ducks?”

“I don't know. There's never any ducks”.

“Then how do you know it's a duck pond?”

“It just is. Is it important, the duck pond?”

“I don't know. Why would I know?” The Doctor collapsed to the ground.

Elise sat down next to him.

“This is too soon. I'm not ready. I'm not done yet”, he told them.

The sky started to go dark as a disc covered the sun.

“What's happening? Why's it going dark? So what's wrong with the sun?” Amy asked.

“Nothing. You're looking at it through a force field. They've sealed off your upper atmosphere. Now they're getting ready to boil the planet”. The Doctor stood up as everyone came out of their houses to see what was going on. “Oh, and here they come. The human race. The end comes, as it was always going to, down a video phone”.

“This isn't real, is it? This is some kind of big wind up”.

“Why would I wind you up?”

“You told me you had a time machine”.

“And you believed me”.

“Then I grew up”.

“Oh, you never want to do that. No. Hang on. Shut up. Wait. I missed it”. The Doctor smacked himself in the forehead. “I saw it and I missed it”. He smacked himself again. “What did I see? I saw. What did I see? I saw, I saw, I saw”. The Doctor stood still as he racked his brain.

Could all Timelords do that? Or was that just a ‘Doctor’ thing?

“Twenty minutes. I can do it. Twenty minutes, the planet burns. Run to your loved ones and say goodbye, or stay and help me”, he told Amy.

“No”.

“I'm sorry?”

“No!” Amy grabbed the Doctor by the tie and dragged him over to a car.

“Amy, no, no, what are you doing?” the Doctor asked.

Amy slammed his tie in the door and locked the door with the keys she took from the driver.

“Are you out of your mind?” the Doctor asked her.

Elise, being so small, could do nothing but watch the adults argue.

“Who are you?” Amy asked.

“You know who I am”.

“No, really. Who are you?”

“Look at the sky. End of the world, twenty minutes”.

“Well, better talk quickly, then”.

“Amy, I am going to need my car back”, the driver said.

“Yes, in a bit. Now go and have coffee”.

“Right, yes”. The man walked off.

The Doctor pulled out the apple from his pocket and tossed it to Amy. “Catch”.

Amy stared down at the apple with the smiley face cut into it.

“I'm the Doctor and this is Elise, my daughter. We’re time travelers. Everything I told you twelve years ago is true. I'm real. What's happening in the sky is real, and if you don't let me go right now, everything you've ever known is over”, he told her.

“I don't believe you”.

The Doctor grabbed Amy’s wrist. “Just twenty minutes. Just believe me for twenty minutes. Look at it. Fresh as the day you gave it to me. And you know it's the same one. Look at Elise. She hasn’t aged at all. Amy, believe for twenty minutes”.

Amy unlocked the car. “What do we do?”

“Stop that nurse”.

Mark Seibert concert MUSICAL MELODIES , 20.5.2018 17 Uhr – A VERY PERSONAL REVIEW

A couple of days ago I went to Mark Seibert’s concert in Hamburg. You may have guessed that I like Mark Seibert a lot, actually he is my favorit musical actor. I know this is a Tanz der Vampire Blog, but Mark Seibert is part of the TdV family and he sang two songs from Tanz der Vampire, so I guess putting it here is fine. And also writing a review helps keeping my memory vivid...

The concert was utterly amazing and time flew by like nothing. Mark invited two special guests: Oedo Kuipers and Marle Mertens, who both worked with him in some productions.

Usually I write in English, but since I can express myself better in German, I will write my experience in German. So I am sorry dear English followers (maybe I do a short recap in English later if you ask for it)

 GERMAN PART:

Alles auf der Bühne war ohne Requisiten, ein sehr intimes Konzert. Als Begleitung ein Cello und ein Klavier, die einzigen Veränderungen waren durch das Licht. Mark wollte gern eine Konzertreihe, wo er viele Balladen singen konnte. Und an Hand der Songliste sieht man, dass genau das gelungen ist.

Go the distance ist ein so schönes Lied und Mark singt es so gefühlvoll, dass ich vom ersten Song an Gänsehaut hatte. Das hat sich auch mit Your song schon gesteigert, sodass ich aus dem Träumen schon gar nicht mehr raus kam.

Nach den Eröffnungssongs erzählte Mark, dass er Angst vor einem Konzert in Hamburg hatte und es deshalb so lange gedauert hat bis er ein Konzert in Hamburg gegeben hat. Generell wird vielen von einem Konzert in Hamburg abgeraten, weil es angeblich das Publikum nicht anzieht. Kann man bei Mark nicht sagen, denn das Konzert bei dem ich war, war das Zusatzkonzert. Denn das erste Konzert ein Tag davor, war so schnell ausverkauft, dass ein zweites angesetzt wurde. Ich würde also sagen, dass Mark das ganze „in Hamburg kann man kein Konzert geben“ widerlegt hat. J (Hoffentlich heißt das, dass noch viele Konzerte in Hamburg folgen, denn da komm ich problemlos hin.)

Als nächstes Stück spielt Mark Die Päpstin in Fulda, deshalb hat er auch Ein Traum ohne Anfang und Ende gesungen. Das perfekte Lied für ihn, das ihm übrigens die Rolle einbrachte. Danach stellte er seinen ersten Special Gast vor: Marle Mertens! Ich muss sagen, dass ich Marle noch nie in einer Rolle gesehen habe, ich kannte zwar ihren Namen, mehr aber auch nicht. Aber sie hat mich unglaublich begeistert. Was für eine schöne klare Stimme. Sie hat dann auch gleich mit Mark Wehrlos aus die Päpstin gesungen. Mark und Marle harmonieren super und man weiß, warum Mark sie eingeladen hat. Hat Marle bei Wehrlos doch eine verletzliche Seite zeigen können, hat sie mit Irgendwo wird immer getanzt ihre ganze Stimmpower rausgehauen und ab diesem Moment war ich ein großer Fan von ihr. (Etwas schade nur, dass Mark nichts aus Mozart gesungen hat oder Oedo Kuipers)

Mit Schikaneder kann ich bisher nicht so viel anfangen, einfach von der Geschichte her, aber auch die Musik blieb mit jetzt nicht so hängen, wobei es sehr schöne Lieder gibt (z.B. Der letzte Vorhang). Aus Schikaneder gab es ein Duett zwischen Mark und Marle Träum groß mit wahrscheinlich der meisten Choreografie des Abends.

Danach kam Oedo Kuipers als zweiter Special Gast. (Ich weiß zum ersten Mal wie man seinen Namen ausspricht!) Er hat gemeinsam mit Mark Broken Wings gesungen, was auch auf seinem Album drauf ist. Mark hat dazu auf der Cajon den Rhythmus gemacht. (Mark hat mehrmals Werbung für Oedo’s Album gemacht.) Danach hat Oedo sein Solosong gesungen und zwar(, wenn ich den Titel richtig habe, denn es gab keine Songliste oder so) Corner of the sky aus Pippin. Oedo singt sehr „verträumt“ und ohne viele „Schnörkel“. Diese Einfachheit gefällt mir gut. Und es passte auch gut zum Abend und zu den Liedern.

Und danach kam das Finale für den ersten Teil und natürlich durfte Tanz der Vampire nicht fehlen. Zuerst gab es Totale Finsternis mit Marle und danach Die Unstillbare Gier. Ich habe Mark selbst als Graf auf der Bühne in TdV gesehen und ich muss zugeben, dass mir sein Graf nicht am besten gefällt. Denn ich finde, man merkt dass die Lage eigentlich zu tief für ihn ist. Nicht, dass er es nicht trotzdem singen kann, aber ich merke, dass er schon viel Technik anwenden muss, um die tiefen Töne gut zu bekommen. Das ist sicher eine Herausforderung für Mark und das verdient höchsten Respekt. Trotzdem muss ich sagen, dass ich von der Interpretation noch nie eine herzergreifendere Unstillbare Gier gehört habe. So leidend und punktgenau auf den Text. Deshalb ein würdiger Abschluss für den ersten Teil. Ich weiß auch nicht, was für ein Lied danach kommen sollte. Die Leute im Saal gaben stehende Ovationen.

Teil 2 begann ruhig mit You’ll be in my heart, einer meiner Lieblingslieder überhaupt. Danach folgte Hallelujah von Leonard Cohen und auch wenn Mark behauptet hat, er kenne niemandem dem der Song nicht gefällt, muss ich sagen, dass ich das Lied mittlerweile nicht mehr hören kann und auch nicht mag. Trotzdem hat Mark es natürlich toll gesungen.

Ein Highlight des Abends war Daniel Franks Soloklavierstück. Er hat in ca. 10 Minuten um die 30 Melodien gespielt. Mark meinte er wollte auch mal dem tollen Klavierspieler die Chance geben etwas allein zu spielen als immer nur als Korrepetitor. Ich habe viele der Melodien erkannt und das Publikum ging ordentlich mit.

Mark erzählte danach vom unrühmlichen Musical Barbarella, dass er lieber vergessen würde und als er hörte, dass er noch ein Musical schreiben würde, dachte er nur: Wie kann man den nochmal ein Musical schreiben lassen? Aber er muss sagen, da hat er tolle Musik geschrieben. Nämlich Ghost und daraus hat Mark mit Marle als Duett With You mit einem etwas anderer Text gesungen, da es ja eigentlich ein Frauensolo ist. Ich mag das Lied sehr und das war wirklich wunderschön.

Das Musical Elisabeth durfte natürlich nicht fehlen, deshalb gab es Wenn ich tanzen will mit Marle als Duet und dann durfte Marle noch Ich gehör nur mir singen. Tolles Lied, tolle Interpretation, super gesungen. Nur wenn man Pia Douwes schon mehrmals dieses Lied live hat singen hören, dann kommt leider keiner für mich an diese legendäre Interpretation heran, aber das soll Marles Leistung in keiner Weise schmälern.

Oedo konnte mit Lady in Red die 80er nochmal aufleben lassen. Mark sorgte mit einer kleinen Anekdote zu Chris de Burgh für den Lacher des Abends. Chris de Burgh wird im nächsten oder darauf das Jahr Musik für ein Musical in Fulda schreiben. Und er war bei dem Press Call für Die Päpstin auch da, wo Mark Seibert war. Chris de Burgh hat ja ein riesen Anwesen in England und das ist eben eine Burg. Da hat Mark einen Witz gemacht: „Naja er heißt ja auch Chris de BURG!“ Chris de Burgh und andere kamen und fragten worüber sie lachten und Mark hat versucht das deutsche Wortspiel zu erklären, was dann natürlich gar nicht mehr lustig ist auf Englisch. Chris de Burgh war wohl wenig begeistert. Mark meinte er hat sich voll zum Deppen gemacht. Als letztes sagte er noch: „Egal was ich bald mache, ich weiß schon mal wo ich auf keinen Fall spielen werde“ im Musical von Chris de Burgh. Ich hab mich weggeschmissen vor Lachen.

Bring him home ist einer meiner absoluten Lieblingslieder überhaupt und deshalb habe ich mich so gefreut als Mark das gesungen hat. Tränen hatte ich oft in den Augen (ich bin nah nah Wasser gebaut), aber da hab ich geheult wie ein Schlosshund.

Als Finale gab es Falling Slowly als Trio mit Marle und Oedo. Tolles Arrangement.

Stehende Ovationen für alle Beteiligten.

Wie das so ist, wollen aber die Fans noch kein Finale und deshalb gab es noch zwei Zugaben. Zuerst Die Schatten werden länger mit Oedo. Da waren alle am Jubeln und danach als Rausschmeißer mit Ruhe Der letzte Vorhang aus Schikaneder. Das letzte leise Solo von Mark. Und damit war es leider zu Ende.

Ein tolles Konzert, ein Abend voll leiser Töne und viel Gefühl. Ich würde jederzeit wieder zu einem Konzert von Mark gehen! 

(Danach gab es noch ein Meet und Greet mit Mark für die Leute mit VIP Karten. Ich hatte keine, aber das ist nicht schlimm, denn ich hab Mark schon mehrmals von Angesicht zu Angesicht gesehen und auch ein Autogramm von Mark auf seiner CD.)
