My ideas for Mad Tongue Alberich

I found a few model reveals, one of which shows him with pale skin, silver hair, and pale pink eyes. I headcannon him with albinism because of this, and because he wears a blindfold when he invades the Roundtable, I also imagine his eyesight is somewhat poor as a result. I drew him with varying stages of blood glintstone protrusions, as when he fights the Tarnished in the Roundtable the entire top of his head is covered in it, so the bust on the right would be briefly before that and the one at the bottom to be some time ago.

Hmja, idyllisch, wenn Mal das Mahl der Zwei hier nicht eher unbeholfen war? Wie kommt man aus so ner Situation raus, in die einen der Plot zugunsten eines mauen Gags geschubst hat? Der Chef nimmt jedenfalls lecker Leber, Alberich hat betrunkene Spagetti.

Die Sängerin ist die aus 'Lost in Translation' weil ich kann. 😁 Münster ist so schön provinziell, nicht das hektische Tokio. Als nächstes singt sie uns Babooshka von Kate Bush.

Kaeya fans, I was watching Donnyvick on youtube and he was watching the old Genshin trailers when I saw something quite peculiar.

In the trailer he watched it was one of Genshin's first uploads, a trailer only in Chinese but with subtitles and one clip included the scene from Kaeya's temple during the prelude to the Dvalin questline.

In the released version of the game this scene does not have dialogue for the abyss mage that comes out at Kaeya's accusation towards it, but in the original trailer it speaks and says "It's because he gave up on you, mwa-ha-ha...." according to the official subtitles.

I am completely thrown off guard that this dialogue was cut from the official version, does anyone know if it is still part of the CN and JP versions? I feel this is really interesting food for us Kaeya fans!

Not-a-devlog but have some sketches.

I've starting writing the Empress' route for the prologue. It's coming along well, but I took a small break this weekend to work on some of sketches for codex! Of course we always start with family first, so here is Alberich and Sieghardt as young boys (babies!) and the Empress!

I don't think I've every shared any artwork of our dear aunty yet, so here she is! In the flesh! Not in colour...yet!

The final product will go up on the patreon sometime this week (or today depending if I feel like finishing this right away tbh) and will come out officially in the next update or two if I can figure out how I want the pages to look.)

What is Alberich King of the Dwarves (Ring: Legend of the Neibelungen) Ryu number?

Alberich does not* have a Ryu Number.

As the names suggest, Ring: The Legend of the Nibelungen and its sequel Ring II: Twilight of the Gods are based on the Richard Wagner operas that comprise Der Ring des Nibelungen, which draws from some characters of Germanic/Norse legend.

Just, you know, sci-fi.

Putting aside that there may be (probably are) issues with considering the mythological figures and their Wagnerian counterparts the same, the genre shift by itself isn't necessarily so much of a departure that I'm not willing to extend that same consideration to these characters.

Combined with what I've read of some of the changes, though, that becomes a little harder for me to sign off on. Like apparently Brünnhilde/Brunhild is Siegmund/Siegfried's half-sister in the game, which from my (extremely limited) understanding of the operas is almost certainly not the case.

So push comes to shove, I'm counting the game characters as separate characters. But if you're willing to be more lenient, well,
