The taxi arrived at your apartment, both of you stepping out, heading inside.

As you both rode in the elevator, he planted soft kisses on your forehead all the way down to your cheeks. You giggled, squeezing his hand as he grinned down at you.

You both made your way into the apartment, immediately sinking into the couch, your black dress stretching out as you hummed.

Niko sat next to you, showering your cheeks and neck with affectionate kisses while moving even closer.

You smiled at him, recognizing the familiar pattern. It was that time of day, when Niko's touchiness and need for attention increased.

Your hand brushed his hair, a gentle smile appearing on your lips. Niko moved in closer, wrapping you in a warm, loving, hug.

You both sat there in complete silence, enjoying each others presence. You often wondered how the world would view this softer side of him.

It was very unlike his usual loud, sarcastic self, proving how different things where when the cameras shut off.

His hand made its way to your hair, curling and twisting it around his finger, all while wrapping his leg around yours.

"I love you," he mumbled. You smiled, head tilted back, both of you too tired to do anything. "I love you too," you replied with affection in your voice.

Laying there for a while, you went to leave, but as you did, he groaned, holding onto you tighter ''please stay.''

You sighed, not knowing what to do. 'Just one more minute,' he whispered, gazing up at you with a pleading look.

You took a glimpse down at him, his eyes half-open as he gripped your hand. ''One more minute,'' you chuckled, giving into him.

YAY IM SO GLAD YOU LIKED THE BIRD FACTS also today i literally saw a kereru And a harrier hawk lmao what a good time for bird facts!! good time to mention you’re more likely to see some specific birds in different regions depending on where your staying but i guess you’d be travelling during an exchange right?

anyways, penguins!! there’s more penguins than this but off the top of my head: hoiho/yellow eyed penguin which are funky little creatures that somehow look mad at you but that’s part of what makes them so endearing to me they’re so silly haha. idk if it’s the hoiho specifically but sometimes there will be colonies of penguins on some beach that’ll come out at night if you’re lucky :)

WHIO how did i literally not mention whio yet. also called a blue duck i think doc (department of conservation) used to have a video game where you could play as a whio i don’t remember i was a kid but it was very cool. i’m gonna try find it after this list

harrier hawk since i saw one today, flies with wings in like a v shape, very quiet usually and looks very cool. you can also see them on the sides of the road eating roadkill. this can make driving difficult cause sometimes they’ll fly out in front of you and you can try to swerve which could be dangerous or hit it :(

ruru/morepork, our only owl!!! they look very funny but i love them, you can sometimes hear them when ur camping. big yellow eyes very silly goofy bird

possums! also not a bird but you will probably see one of these. they are Very Bad for our ecosystem (same goes with dogs and cats that are allowed to roam the bush, ferrets, stoats, rats and most land mammals tbh, since most of our birds aren’t adapted to deal with these.) australia likes their possums but we don’t. their fur can be brown or grey, the babies are kinda cute but the adults scare me a little haha. if you’re camping and you shine a torch into the trees sometimes you’ll see eyes shining back at you, that’s possums! not to be confused with american possums which are white and i think are kinda cute also

fairy terns, also called tara-iti, i did a school report on them in year 9. found in coastal areas, looks kinda like a mini seagull. possibly our most endangered indigenous breeding bird since they nest on the sand they’re vulnerable to a lot of stuff. i love them

huia, extinct. they looked very cool, had long curved beaks, black with orange cheeks. their feathers were a symbol of leadership. love them

moa, also extinct. BIG birds. i mean giant. i love them so so much i want to bring them back jurassic park style. wanna bring back the huia as well but MOAS. you can probably see a skeleton of one if you go to a museum. go and marvel at the magnificent-ness of the moa

seagulls, since you mentioned them. our seagulls are BASTARDS !!!! you’ll be on the beach eating fish n chips and oh look a seagull. oh look haha five seagulls. oh haha look twelve seagul- my cHIPS

weta - again not a bird but your probably gonna get freaked out by one if you don’t know what they are. basically they’re giant flightless crickets. big antenna, they look scary but they’re mostly harmless (just googled it apparently they bite? oops. never been bit though) if u leave them alone they will leave you alone

that is all the birds (and non birds) i can think of for now. it’s funny the thing you said about not having albatrosses since i’ve always been jealous of europe since you guys have a bunch of cool corvids like crows and ravens whereas i think our only corvid is magpies? and you have squirrels :( but i guess i never though of it from the other side lol

are any of your ocs coded first nations, native american, or indigenous latino? :o

i have around 12 different sort of provinces for the story that are each more or less loosely based on different parts of the world or different cultures, out of those the water and ice ones are based on hawaiian and inuit cultures respectively (with some slight russian inspiration in other aspects but thats not as major). and of course there are ocs from both of those, including the heirs that both go to HA as students. there are also ones that are central and south american based but since those are based after pretty much entire continents with a lot more cultures they require more work

i dont have all 12 provinces fully developed, i need to set aside time for research and development for ideas, and i dont really have that time as of rn. the last thing i want to do is make them without proper care for the cultures theyd be based on. like i said the inspiration is mostly loose so it can also fit into the setting, and theres a lot of combinations going on (ex. theres no “english” province, rather the metal one is a combination of multiple western european counties). the only ones i have figured out completely are the main (capital) one and the mediterranean-based one, the former because its where the story mostly takes place and the latter because i dont need to put any research into it since im already from there, i could pretty much figure that one out on the spot (also yes its air at not water, a lot of these are based on environment and the mediterranean may have oceans but its also very alpine, besides water was taken)

of course that being said im always open to input, kind of like how i asked my lgbt followers a while back what they do and dont like seeing (or wish they had seen at all), and since its a work in progress things can still be changed and tweaked. even the number of provinces may change based on where i am with them rn. also i feel like i should mention, none of these places are based on their element (like atla) but those are just placeholder names i have for right now based on what magic the family that rules them uses. the people for the most part can use whatever magic they want. i have name a couple name ideas for right now but i dont know how many will stick !

I use the free software shortcut to edit my videos. I hate it & it's very slow which makes my already least favorite part of the video making, editing, even worse (:

I decided to start making videos bc 1) I saw a gap in the youtube market where people who talked about bl either did reactions or short analyses without showing their faces. 2) there were many topics that were easier to tackle in a longer video than a blog post. 3) if I were to be able to make a living off of youtube (which will not happen but wish I had known that then lol) it would solve most of my problems & allow me to combine pretty much all of my interests at once.

my videos ABSOLUTELY get taken down bc of copyright, if you look through my community page I've talked about that many times.

when that happens, I always appeal but most of the time it doesn't work, which means I spent 30+ hours MINIMUM on something that will never see the light of day (: it's in big part why I'm switching to thailand focused content instead of thai series content tbh, it was very heavy on my mental health for a hobby that takes so many hours out of me every week. not worth it.

my favorite kinds of videos to film are definitely my ranking ones or reaction ones bc they demand very little preparation & scripting and are just about me rambling for 2 hours, but my ranking ones take FOREVER to edit so on that part any non scripted video is the worst haha

the time spent on a video really depends, but usually the writing of a video takes me between 3 to 6 hours, the filming takes me 2 hours & the editing takes me a good 20 hours (funny bc I hate editing so much lmaooooo.) but some videos have only taken me 10 hours (short reactions), while others have taken me well above 50 (longer commentary ones.)

about putting out content in fandom, you're right in saying that I've basically done every kind of content LMAO. honestly the faceless one like giffing, writing fics, making fanvids, etc. is easy? like it needs to come from a drive of wanting to do it but bc your personal image isn't really attached to it, I feel like the trial & error is easier? if you wanna stop tomorrow no one will really care? but when I started making videos that demand significantly more time & that have my face clearly attached to it, that's when the doubts started creeping in. I never feel shy bc I just haven't been shy in a while, but I do feel ashamed to talk to irl people about my videos bc they aren't successful & I've invested over 2 years of my life in them so it's just kinda pathetic LMAO. but about you being shy, you can focus on the fact that it's the internet? like if you really don't want anyone to know it's your fanvids, create a new username & post them under it, bc then literally NO ONE will know it's you. to be honest it's taken me years but I've gotten rid of the notion of "cringe" and "embarrassment" out of my vocabulary. just do what makes you happy bc people will hate on you no matter what. I just know I personally want to live my life authentically & not filter it just so MAYBE I'm not as hated. so yeah, I hope you DO get to create the fanvids you want & good luck with that! thanks for the support as well, it means a lot <3

You had done a few POV’s and also sang along to the Sofia The First song to “broadway attractive men: sing-a-long edition” specifically to sing along for Thayne Jasperson and Jordan Fisher. It had become a new obsession, as you replied to comments and liked funny ones that made you laugh when you couldn’t sleep.

As you swiped through your For You page and liked a few, you received a comment notification. @username: @yourusername please duet this!!! 

Upon reading the comment, you first checked the username to make sure it wasn’t a weird bot account, and you realized it was not. After that, you clicked the video and it took you to Jordan Fisher’s account. 

The video was a 60 second clip of Jordan singing the Orpheus part of “All I’ve Ever Known” from Hadestown. You already knew the song and you had seen Reeve in the Original Broadway Cast, alongside Eva Noblezada, prior to Coronavirus putting every inch of Broadway in the dark.

Below the video, the caption said “Duet this as Eurydice! Let me hear your voices! :) #fyp #hadestown #duet.”

Maybe you could duet it? Of course you could, it was just a simple sixty second video, it wouldn’t change or affect your life in any way shape or form. At least that’s what you initially thought.

Clicking the small swishy arrow, then clicking duet, you sang your part and finalized the video, with the caption ‘The Orpheus to my Eurydice! Cast Jordan as Orpheus or you’re cowards!!! #fyp #bway #duet #hadestown’ Granted the duet itself wasn’t anything professional and was merely for fun, as you assumed Jordan would never see it, let alone anyone from Broadway that would see your poke at the Hadestown casting directors.

You went to text your friend about your recent Glee binge while pressing play on the next episode, though Netflix should know you by now. Of course you’re ‘still watching,’ that shouldn’t even be a question. You decide to grab the bag of chips off of the coffee table before plopping yourself on the couch and settling into the plot that was the storm of Glee.

You had been coming to the end of your rope for a while now - burning the candle at both ends had always been your default setting, but your mental health was starting to take a dip because of it.

Your phone had been going off with texts from Calum all day, expressing to you his excitement about songs he had been working on, or little ways Luke had pushed his buttons that day, or just things about his own mental health.  It’s not that you didn’t want to talk to your boyfriend, it’s just that you didn’t have the energy to.

Ignoring another text from him, you headed out to do your grocery shopping - you knew that if you didn’t at least have some easy to make foods in your house when you encountered the worst of it, you wouldn’t eat at all.

The trip to the grocery store was short, grabbing a few essentials that you knew were comfort foods to you, and easy to make.  Heading back to your apartment, you were slightly alarmed when you saw rose petals that trailed from the elevator to your door - wondering what Calum could be up to.

Opening the door, the faint smell of lavender invaded your nostrils, your apartment dimly lit with candles that led down the hallway to what you assumed was the bathroom.  Taking in a deep breath, you followed down the hallway where your assumptions were proven correct.

“What’s all this?” You asked, eyes lifting to meet your boyfriend who had just been sitting on the closed toilet seat waiting for you to appear.

“You’ve been taking care of everyone else so much lately, I thought I should take care of you,” Calum replied simply, “I waited to draw the bath cause I know you hate it gets cold.”

Pouting slightly, you went to stand between his legs, looking down at him.  “Cal, you didn’t have to do all this, I’m fine.” That was a complete lie, but you’d hoped Calum would buy it.

“Bullshit,” Guess not. “Baby, you’ve been burning the candle at both ends so to speak for weeks now.  I just want to be here for you,” He murmured, pressing a kiss to your wrist.

You weren’t one to say no to a bubble bath, so you agreed.  Calum made quick work to add your favourite bath salts and bubbles to the warm, almost too hot to soak in water, encouraging you to strip down.

What you hadn’t expected though, was for him to slip into the bath first, motioning for you to come sit in front of him.  He had been around when you were having a bath, sure, but he wasn’t usually one to join. Running his now damp fingers in your hair as you settled against him, you shut your eyes.

“I also put on some tea, it’s on your mug warmer,” His lips were pressed to the side of your head, eyes glancing over to where the mug sat. “Now, wanna talk to me about what’s going through that gorgeous mind of yours?”

Your eyes remained closed, breathing evenly from your nose as you tried to let the eucalyptus scent soak into your skin.  “Life’s just too much, y’know? Work has been crazy busy, my boss can be such a nightmare, horrible at communication and never acknowledges when a task is complete. We just go onto the next. I also hardly have time to see you, so I feel like I’m being a terrible partner to you.  The anxiety is overwhelming, and it’s hard to feel enough.”

Calum listened, he always listened, so patient and kind.  He waited for you to finish speaking before he had spoken up, “Is there a way you can improve communication with your boss? Like maybe weekly meetings where you discuss what you need from each other in the week moving forward?” He suggested, and it honestly didn’t sound like a half bad idea.  “As for me, you know I’m always here for you my love.  No matter the day, place, or time, I’m always here to listen.”

Your hand reached up to cup his cheek, turning your head so you could plant a kiss to his free cheek, “I know, thank you.  Also that’s not a bad idea, I’ll bring it up to him tomorrow.  Hopefully that can establish some work life balance as well.  I go in early, I stay late - and I’m making less than the people who are working hourly.”

Through your rant about your work week, Calum began  to take some water and pour it over your head, and you were confused at first, “M’gonna wash your hair, just relax.” So the next few minutes were spent with your eyes shut once more as Calum massaged the shampoo into your scalp.

Your bath hadn’t lasted much longer after that, the water beginning to grow tepid and slightly uncomfortable.  But Calum made sure that once you were dried off, you were wrapped in your fluffiest robe, light kisses being pressed to your cheeks and nose as he did so. 

“Why don’t I stay here for the next little bit? Tour doesn’t kick off for another month, and I’d like to see you as much as possible before I go,” Calum asked, toying with his own fingers.

“I love you, you know that? I’d love nothing more.”

emboar techno- so he’s basically the king of the nether lmao. he just- idk how to explain it tbh. he was born into the royal family of the nether, there was a huge uprising of the civilians, techno survived, and took back over. this techno is the beginning of the story/au/fanfic in my head is not an anarchist, he’s a monarch, and he likes it (for now). he has never left the nether tho that's all he’s ever known 

articuno philza - head of the antarctic empire, biological father to alolan vulpix wilbur and adopted zigzagoon tommy. uuuuuh that's just. it really for him LMAO

vulpix wilbur - incredibly sheltered since he was a prince, never really saw much of the “real world” until he ventured out to the dream smp (where he met tommy btw) and now he’s a paranoid mess,

Now that im up to date let's talk aot! Ive also read the manga up until the end of season 3. Im not sure if I want to go past the anime at this point, ive seen some spoilers and idk I kinda like being unsure atm at whats going to happen. Anway Im liking the new animation! I quite like both styles but I feel like the change in animation suits the change in the series since were seeing everyone grown up.

The whole basement reveal really shocked me, out of all the things I wasnt expecting that. I thought it would be about cure for the titans since Dr Jaegar is a doctor and maybe he figured out a way to cure the world. Instead I felt like the whole world turned on its head😂 Im glad it wasn't spoiled for me, it was a complete surprise which is nice. I feel like as a show no matter how much we learn there's still things that are unknown. Its really good and well written, also very cruel. Overall im enjoying it a lot and im glad I started watching it. What are your thoughts on aot and the new season so far? I’m feeling the new animation! It’s much for rugged and makes the characaters look older so I agree that it works. Kinda reminds me of the hq animation switch (pre quarantine) because it made all the boys look older and better.

Since you more or less binged watched it, did you find it was a rollercoaster? Did you find it confusing or easy to follow? For me: I started watching AOT when it came out when I was in high school so after every episode this season I literally have to watch an “explained” video. I quite enjoy them now actually as it has become a part of the process haha. I’m about to watch episode 10s now !!
