【 * 🍒 · JOTARO / @praeteritus-memories / x . 】
"Guess I'm still on edge, even years later." Is it that hard for him to just relax? He's sitting on the edge of the bed, of course he can already feel his husband's slender hands against his back where he clearly feels his tense muscles.
"Nori, how the hell do you relax?" He swears the red head is always so calm compared to how tense and almost heated Jotaro was at every moment. Perhaps it just shows the contrast between the two of them.
touching had been nothing of a necessity where noriaki’s ability to perceive his husband’s unease is concerned . since their hearts converged at seventeen , the redhead could detect even the subtlest intricacies of jotaro’s mood ; he understands him like no one else , & this aspect of their bond had only strengthened & deepened impossibly more over the years they’d shared , & even now as they navigate their forties .
yet , even if he does not need to touch jotaro to sense the tension that wrings his limbs in tightly like those of a ball - jointed - doll , he finds the physical contact can serve as a grounding reminder of his presence in the life of his beloved , a wordless whisper of ‘ i’m here for you ; i’m right here , ’ when talking comes as too much of a chore for either of the two men . noriaki recalls restless nights in foreign hotel rooms where he’d settled a deceivingly delicate hand overtop of jotaro’s much larger & more calloused one , & similarly reassuring caresses on shoulders & thighs & upper backs . this had always been part of their relationship , long before they’d fully understand just how far their feelings would go .
“ no matter how many years it’s been , it’ll always feel like it happened yesterday , ” replies the crimson - tressed , skating thoughtful fingers down the solid muscle of his husband’s back , pressing slightly into the emphasized bulge where the stress clusters into knots . “ you know , jotaro , sometimes i wonder how the time passed for him . we were so young back then , but he’d lived our whole lives ten times over & then some , even if he’d spent a lot of it locked away at the bottom of the sea . ” a pause , & the wide seam of soft lips pulling tighter with unease . he’s not a teenager anymore , but even still , it’s hard to talk about dio without that bitter feeling eclipsing his mind . he’d faced his fear of the vampire , & beyond that , he conquered it , but to say the whole process had fucked him up would be an understatement . the blunt truth is that they’re all still fucked up after egypt . & it’s likely that in a handful of ways , they always will be . “ those fifty days felt like an eternity to me . but for him , for dio , was it only a few moments ?? ”
the question makes his heart ache . truth be told , noriaki is far from calm & collected at all times ; he’s only learned to play the part well . for the sake of quick wit , for the sake of not causing alarm in his loved ones , for the sake of being able to move on & enjoy his life to the fullest . slowly , he wraps his arms around jotaro from behind , pressing his cheek to the larger man’s nape as he kneels behind him on their bed . “ i keep busy , ” he answers , the softest chuckle in his tone . “ with spw , before i retired from the field so my children wouldn’t have to worry about me dying before they even got to high school . now it’s mostly with research , & teaching , & training , not to mention the fact that there’s never a dull moment around here . . . ” there’s a smile on noriaki’s face ; something of a bittersweet one . “ but . . . there are still times where i lie awake at night , & i see the streets of cairo from where i was crushed into that water tower . & i get scared to close my eyes , just like i was then . ” he’s pulling away now , but only so that he may sit at jotaro’s side , rather than at his back . his hand does not move from its place at the dark - haired man’s shoulder blade , however , even as lavender eyes raise to meet the oceans of his beloved’s gaze .
“ but i’m still here , jojo . & you’re here with me . & we have a beautiful family , & a beautiful life . so , to answer your question . . . most days , just remembering that —— just being with you —— is enough to help me relax . ”

Genre: Royal AU✨fluff, humour, unrequited love perhaps? 🤫 childhood friends

a/n: if you read it all, i luv you🥺✨💖
~Prologue~
You’ve been destined to marry the heir of Karasuno, Tsukishima Akiteru since you were children. He was kind enough and was everything you should want in a man. Then why was the younger prince who sought solace in novels written by far away men always appearing in the corners of your mind?
You walked arm in arm with Akiteru as he lead you around their rose garden and explained the different meaning behind each flower. You, being a 10 year old girl had not began seeking interest in flowers yet, and continued to smile in order to not offend him.
As you two rounded the corner to look at the white roses, you were met with a boy around the same age sitting on the bench reading a book.
You did a small trot over to where he sat and looked over at the page he was reading. It was about a beauty and a beast in some far away castle.
“Whatcha reading?” You say as you drag out your words playfully.
“Huh?! Who are you?” He asks, startled out of his seat.
“I’m Princess y/n! Nice to meet you!”
~10 Years Later (Present Day)~
You sneak up to Kei with his nose in his book and place your hands in front of his eyes.
“Guess who?” You ask, giddily anticipating his answer.
“Hmm, some snake from the Nohebi Kingdom?” he replies and you can feel his smirk without even seeing him.
You retract your hand and move in front of him.
“That’s mean you know. You should be nicer to me. I might not show up to your 19th birthday celebration if you keep acting this way,” you jest.
He lets out a long groan.
“Do we really have to hold a whole ball for such a measly celebration?”
You gasp jokingly, “How dare you entertain such a preposterous idea?”
You pretend to faint on him but he gently pushes you off.
“It’s amazing to think you’re the older one,” he grumbles.
“There you go again being a pompous brat. When I become queen, I’ll have Akiteru behead you. Hmph.”
He returns to his book but a soft smile is apparent on his face.
You wave him off before going to see Akiteru. There is a slight bounce in your step as you go off to plan Kei’s birthday ball.
“Good morning your highness,” you say with a curtsy.
“Ah, how are you y/n? What brings you here so early?” Akiteru asks with a cheery smile on his face.
“We are supposed to meet up at 10am to discuss the plans for your brother’s party?”
“Ah yes, that. Why don’t you come have a seat beside me?”
“Are we inviting the King of Fukurodani and Prince of Nekoma? I think he’d be happy to see his old friends again,” you suggest.
“Great thinking sweetheart! I’ll call Yamaguchi to send out the invitations.”
You nod and give him a soft smile before looking out the windows.
After excusing yourself from Akiteru’s chamber, you head to the kitchen to munch on some unprincess-like desserts. You were humming a song Kei once showed you on his headphones.
“Oh my gooooood. What I wouldn’t do for some two-bite brownies right now,” you complain while rubbing your rumbling stomach.
“You’re going to get fat if you keep eating sweets, you know,” Tsukishima comments nonchalantly.
“It’s not my fault that this corset is too damn tight,” you respond with a glare.
“We’re at a ball, please do refrain from using such foul language.”
You sigh because you knew he was right. Suddenly, you feel a small tug at your hand and a brownie slides into your palm.
You look up at the scowling prince to see him scanning the ballroom with an unbothered gaze.
“Thank you,” you whisper before munching on your much-deserved treat.
~Present Day~
You bump into Tsukishima on your way to the kitchen and almost fall backwards due to you being deep in a daydream about desserts. He grabs onto your wrist to steady you.
“Dessert time already?” he asks slyly.
“Don’t be coy with me, sir. Come, let us eat cake!”
“You’re not cute when you quote an old French queen.”
You take his wrist and lead him to the kitchen with a skip in your step.
He isn’t known for having a big appetite so he was fine watching you do what you love most while resting his hand on his chin.
“chomp chomp- you know - munch- we were planning to -munch- have a seven layer cake for your birthday celebration -munch- how does that sound?”
“First of all, don’t talk with your mouth full and second, we both know the cake is for you because nobody is eating that much.”
“Hmm, fine by me!”
“~Sigh~ you’ve always been childish. When you officially become my sister-in-law, I’ll make it so that you never go anywhere without an escort,” he decides.
“But why? I’ve never done anything that would require that much assistance!”
“Remember when...”
“My kite!!!!” You cry as the flying object that Bokuto gifted to you not long ago got caught up in a tree.
Kei, who was just trying to read his book against said tree facepalmed.
“I’m going to tell Bokuto that you already lost his gift.”
“It’s not lost!! It’s just stuck. Here, I can retrieve it,” you exclaim as you start to bundle your dress to easily climb the tree.
“Hey wait! I’ll call a maid or gardener to get it for you. Just don’t do anything stupid!” Tsukishima calls out but you’re already half way up the trunk.
“Just a little tug,” you mumble “there we go! I got it- AHHH.”
Now you’re falling out of the tree at high speed and Tsukishima is sweating bullets as he reaches his arms out to catch you. He miscalculated where you would hit the ground and you were left grumbling with a pained ankle.
“Owww, that hurt,” you whimper as you grab hold of your injured ankle.
“Idiot!! I knew this would happen! Here, let me see,” he cries out and rushes to your side.
“Please stop chastising me all the time,” you pout and he could see the genuine pain in your eyes.
His demeanor softens and he examines your ankle.
“Don’t worry y/n, it looks like it’s just a sprain okay?” he says reassuringly.
You sniffle and look up at him with a suspicious glint in your eyes.
“Carry me back then, Kei.”
He sweat drops and looks at you with a deadpan expression.
‘What?”
“Did I stutter?” You ask innocently.
Surprisingly enough, he picks you up onto his back and walks you all the way home despite the tremble in his legs.
~Present Day~
“Well, I was dumb and young!” You try to defend yourself.
“You were 18 you idiot!”
“Hmph, if it ever comes down to it, you could be my escort!” You say and laugh at your own joke.
You didn’t understand why he was blushing at your words.
Akiteru comes in to the sound of you two laughing.
“What are my two favourite people up to?”
Tsukki gets up abruptly and excuses himself.
“~sigh~ even after all these years, we still can’t manage to get along,” Akiteru mutters.
“Don’t worry your highness, he has good intentions.”
“I really do wish you would call me by my first name, y/n. We’ve been engaged for 10 years now and it still feels like we’ve just met.”
“I’m sorry...” you mumble guiltily.
He chuckles at your response, “don’t trouble yourself if you’re not comfortable. Come, let me escort you back to your chambers so you can get enough rest before the birthday celebration tomorrow.”
You let him lead you by the arm and the walk there was filled with empty silence.
~Tomorrow~
“Happy birthday, Tsukki!” you exclaim while jumping on his bed to wake him.
The sound of clapping and birthday horns from the maids echoed and the streamers and confetti pétaled down throughout the room.
You kneeled excitedly beside him on the bed and he was looking up at you confusedly as he tried to process what was going on.
“Do you know that it’s inappropriate to be in a man’s chambers before waking hours?” He asks with his signature smirk on his face.
You slap him lightly to acknowledge his joke before carrying on to tell him about the plan for tonight.
He makes his way out of his bed and you leave him to get ready.
~At The Ball~
“Here are glasses that hold the future in your palms! Just wearing them will allow you access to the great things that are coming your way!” King Bokuto advertises as he hands Tsukishima his gift.
“They’re just glasses,” Akaashi contradicts with a deadpan expression.
Although Bokuto is the king, it is Akaashi, his adviser, that keeps him in line.
“BUT! They are of the highest caliber of materials that can only be found in the Fukurodani Kingdom!” Bokuto interjects enthusiastically.
Tsukishima shakes his head in annoyance but deep down, he’s grateful for his friends’ gift. After all, it’s not everyday that he’s graced with glasses made of gold and crystals.
As they move on, Kuroo makes his way up the stand to present Tsukki his gift. With him were his jester Lev and scribe Kenma.
“Hey Tsukki boy, happy 19th birthday! We didn’t bring you a gift so take our jester!” Kuroo laughs and pushes Lev towards him.
“Kuroo-sama! Don’t let me go!” Lev cries out.
“Oh right. If I give you to him, you won’t get paid. Alright, sorry Tsukki, I guess you can’t have our jester!”
He laughs as he walks away with Lev trailing behind.
Kenma is scribbling down everything that just happened and wished Tsukishima a happy birthday before catching up with his prince.
Tsukishima sighs to himself as he awaits her entrance.
And lo and behold, she appears.
You appear at the top of the grand staircase in your beautiful ball gown. There was an air of elegance that radiated from you in a way Tsukki had never seen before. Without meaning to, he let out a soft ‘wow’ and kept his eye on you as you took each step down the stairs.
Not far behind you was your fiancé and he was dressed in a white suit to match his bright blond hair. You two looked like angels that descended from heaven and he couldn’t help but feel a pang of jealousy erupt in his chest.
It was finally your turn to present your gift to the birthday prince and you were as giddy as ever. You abandon all formalities when you leap into his unsuspecting arms.
“Doesn’t it feel so great to be 19?”
“It honestly feels the same,” he says before seeing you start to frown, “but I suppose there are some credentials to being a year older,” he finishes.
He holds you at an arm’s length before Akiteru breaks the embrace.
“Happy Birthday brother.”
He nods with a smile that looked more like a grimace. They shake hands and Kuroo and Bokuto approach your small group to make small talk.
“It must be nice to have such a huge party for 19! Next year, let’s celebrate my 22 at Nekoma’s pavilion. You’re invited too y/n. It wouldn’t be a party without you!” Kuroo announces to you guys.
“Haha and it definitely wouldn’t be a good party if you weren’t hosting it!” You respond with just as much enthusiasm.
“Man! And maybe after that, we can celebrate y/n and Tsukki’s engagement!” Bokuto laughs lightheartedly.
An awkward silence between the group ripples through the air and the laughter from the other guests are the only thing that’s evident.
“Actually,” Akiteru grumbles through clenched teeth, “I’m her fiance.”
“Oh... ahaha, Tsukki and y/n just get along so well that I totally forgot,” Bokuto responds.
Kuroo gives Bokuto a playful slap on the back, “Oh Bokuto, you dense fool! Come, let us get some more champagne.”
“You know what? I have a surprise as well,” Akiteru proclaims.
He makes his way up to center stage and grabs the mic.
“Hello everybody. Welcome to the Tsukishimas’ birthday ball for my little brother, Prince Kei! Not to steal his thunder or anything, but another celebration is coming soon: me and Princess y/n’s wedding next week!”
An eruption of applause scatters across the ballroom. Tsukki is clenching his fists and you’re choking on your champagne. You could’ve sworn you saw a glint of victory in Akiteru’s eyes as he stared his brother down...
a/n: WOW that was Part 1 everybody. I had so much fun writing this and fell in love with the characters even more. I hope you all enjoyed the experience and stay for Part 2!! Send me an ask or message if you want to be added to my taglist! 😌🥺✨💗

Red Wine: Chapter 2
A series with Taehyung as the love interest but all members are in it (with some interesting side stories)
Warnings: mostly fluff so no warnings I guess.
Synopsis: Katie loves writing, her short essay wins an international competition and thus she gets to write the biography of the most famous band in the world; BTS. She has a lot of bagage and obstacles to overcome but along with her charming best friend Tara and seven sweet men she finds the world is not as bad as she thought, especially when she starts falling for one of them.
Taehyung had convinced me to dine with him and the guys. I sat down next to him and Hoseok. "So Catherine where are you from?" Namjoon, who was sitting across from me, asked. "Katie." I croaked. My voice had become raspy and deep from all the wine. I really should stop drinking. "Everyone calls me Katie." I explained. "And I come from a small town in Belgium."
"So your native tongue is not English?" Jimin raised his eyebrows and looked at me. "I wouldn't have guessed that, your English is fluent." I smiled. "No my native tongue is not English, it's dutch but I've loved the English language since I was eight years old." He nodded.
Seokjin placed the bowl of food on the table. It looked delicious. It smelled amazing too.
Half of them attacked the food like they hadn't eaten in days.
I waited until they had all filled up their plates before filling mine. Jungkook and Yoongi had already gone through half their plates before I even took my first bite. "Hmm, this is amazing!" I beamed. "Thanks." Seokjin grinned. I ate my entire plate. Even when I was full I still emptied it.
When everyone was done I started gathering the dishes and carrying them to the kitchen. "You don't have to do that Catherine." Seokjin told me bringing other dishes into the kitchen. "Katie and yes I do you already provided this delicious meal." He laughed and shook his head. "I do have to say it's refreshing to have a girl at the table."
"Thanks, I guess." I placed the dishes in the sink and let the water run. "You do know the staff of the hotel can do that right?" He asked. "I find that doing the work of the staff helps appreciating their work. Besides if you make it fun washing the dishes isn't that bad." I glanced at him while pouring the soap into the sink. He was rolling up his sleeves. "Okay, let's do it."
"What's taking you guys so long?" Jungkook chirped walking in. The others followed behind him. "What are you doing?" Hoseok asked. "Washing dishes." I replied. Taehyung immediately took a towel and chipped in. I gave him a slight smile.
Namjoon and Jimin picked up a towel as well. The others just stood against the wall or sat down on the kitchen island. There was no need to have seven people drying the dishes so they just put away the clean ones whenever they were ready. "And why exactly are we doing this?" Yoongi asked. "Because we made those dishes dirty." I stressed. "You have to make it fun. maybe we could play a game, sing something-"
"Hold on, you sing?" Jungkook interrupted me. "I used to, not anymore though, I meant you guys."
A wine glass suddenly slipped out of my hand and fell onto the edge of the sink. I tried to stop it from breaking but instead grabbed it while it was already broken.Glass sunk into my skin and blood soaked out. I cried out.
Seokjin took my arm without even thinking about and carefully pulled out the pieces of glass. It stung but it wasn't so bad. "Are you okay?" Namjoon asked. "I'm fine." Seokjin had pulled out all the glass and placed a towel around my hand. "This needs to be cleaned." I nodded and thought about telling him I could do it myself but something in his determined look told me he was not going to let me do that so I said nothing.
"Hey Hobi can you hand me the first aid kit?" Hoseok looked behind him and took down the white box hanging on the wall. Seokjin took it and searched it for supplies. "I thought your name was Hoseok?" I questioned. "Please nobody has called me that in years." Seokjin put something on my hand which stung badly. I hissed. "But it's a great name." I argued. "So is Catherine and if you keep calling me Hoseok I'm going to keep calling you that." I rolled my eyes but couldn't help smiling.
Seokjin rubbed the alcohol on my hand and I cringed. I felt a small piece of glass sliding further into my skin. "Sweet mother of God." I cursed. "Seokjin I think there is still a piece of glass in there." He looked up at me, his dark eyes staring at me with concern. It reminded me of something Tara was always saying. She always told me how Seokjin was the oldest one and how he always acted like the parent. I guess it was true. I should make a mental note about that. "I'm sorry, I'm going to have to pull it out with tweezers." I nodded and pressed my lips together. He tried to find it on the surface but he couldn't.
"Katie I think we should call a doctor." I shook my head. I didn't like going to the doctor. They were always so socially incompetent it gave me shivers. "No, just dig for it."
"That's going to hurt, a lot." He informed. "Just do it." I asserted. Next to me Taehyung grabbed my hand. "You can squeeze if you need to." He whispered. I was stubborn and told myself I wouldn't have to, but when Seokjin dug into my hand with those tweezers I think I nearly crushed Taehyung's hand. I let my head fall back and pressed my lips together up to the point they probably turned white. "Almost got it." I started humming to distract myself.
Finally I felt something being pulled out of my skin. "Done." He declared. I let out a sight and let go of Taehyung's hand. "Sorry." I said to him when I saw his hand had also turned white. He shook his hand to let the blood return. "It's nothing."
Seokjin continued to take care of my hand. "Thank you." I said when he was done.
"Washing the dishes is fun huh?" Yoongi teased. "You can take her place."Namjoon said amused, throwing the dishcloth at him. Yoongi rolled his eyes but started washing dishes.
"Hey what were you humming just now?" Jimin asked me. "Oh eumh, a dutch song, you won't know it."
"I would love to hear it, it sounded beautiful."
"Sure, some other time." He nodded. "Why don't you sing anymore?" Jungkook asked me. "It's complicated." I shrugged not wanting to continue this conversation. He backed off and set away some more dishes.
When we were done Jimin proposed to play some drinking games. Everyone agreed and they even got me to agree too. "Fine but I'm drinking water."
"Bo-oring." Yoongi sang. I rolled my eyes at him.
We all ended up in Namjoon and Seokjin's room because apparently that's their go to place to hang out. Mentally I made notes that I should remember to put all of this on my computer. I couldn't exactly take real notes, that would be strange and they wouldn't open up to me like they do now.
Their room looked a lot like mine, only is was bigger and there were two beds. Everyone started throwing pillows on the floor and arranging them into a circle. It seemed they had all done this before. Yoongi and Seokjin made room for me to sit between them and Taehyung handed me a glass of red wine. "Taehyung I-" I swallowed in the rest of my words because he gave me a 'don't argue with me' look. Fine if I really hit my limit I would just tell them, I thought. "Let's play truth or truth." Hoseok- I mean Hobi suggested. I frowned. "Isn't that just asking questions?"
He looked at me like I said something really stupid. "It is totally different Katie, see I'll begin." He thought for a couple of seconds. "Jungkook, are you the one behind that prank?" Jungkook smirked. "What prank?" I asked. "I'll explain." Jungkook crowed. "I switched all of the songs on the album to tracks of the lion king." His eyes twinkled, clearly he felt proud of his joke.
"You did not!" I marveled. My mouth fell open. "So you had to re-record all your songs?" Jungkook shook his head. "No I just put the real songs on a drive and left it next to the panel with a little note." The others laughed. "So you're a disney fan?" I hinted. He nodded making his hair jump up and down. "Of course I am, I mean who isn't?" I grinned. "Amen."
"You're next Katie. I want to know how you came to enter the competition?" I chuckled. "Through my best friend. She's your biggest fan. She actually pushed me, I didn't really know you but she knew I loved writing." I crossed my legs and asked Taehyung a question next. On his turn he asked Jimin a question who then reserved his question for me again.
"You know I get the feeling you guys want to know a lot about me so why don't you just ask me all the questions you're dying to ask?" I offered. Namjoon looked up at me. "What's your favourite music?" He asked softly. "Honestly I don't really have a favourite genre, I love really different kinds of music. I really adore Little Mix though. I love their female empowerment message." He smiled, showing the dimples in his cheeks.
"How old are you?" Yoongi asked. "twenty-two." I answered. "You look older." He replied. "Thank you?" He grinned. "It's the clothes." Hobi said. I looked at my jeans and red blouse. The black cardigan over it was loosely hanging around my waist. "What's wrong with my outfit?" I argued. "It screams soccer-mom."
"Why, we have known each other for a day and you're already insulting me." I raised one of my eyebrows at him. "It's not necessarily a bad thing." He corrected himself. "It's great if you are a soccer-mom but not for a twenty-two year old. You're young and you have a figure you should play it out." My smiled disappeared. I took another sip of my wine.
"I'm sorry if I have insulted you in any way." I shook my head. "I used to have a different style." I started. "But my boyfriend said I dressed too exposed so I changed it." Hobi nodded. I could see Taehyung rolling his eyes when he thought I wasn't looking at him. He really did not like Dean and he hadn't even met him. "I still have pictures on my instagram though." I told them my account name and let them look for a second. "Damn girl you really had style." Hobi beamed. "That's too exposed?" Taehyung asked. He showed me one of the pictures with Tara. I was wearing a blue jeanskirt that reached from my waist to my knees and a white blouse on top of it, the bottom of it tucked in my skirt, it had a deeper cleavage than the one I have on now but nothing was showing. I had my high heels on and some make up. I shined. "Apparently." I sighed, longing to the old Katie. I loved dressing up and going out. I loved shopping. When had I lost it all?
Seeing myself back then made me emotional.
I excused myself and went to the balcony.
I called Tara. I needed to talk to someone I knew. She picked up immediately. "Katie!" She cheered. "How is it?"
"They're nice." I told her. "That's it? They're nice?!" I chuckled. "T, I'm sorry but I'm not really in that kind of mood."
"What's wrong sweetheart?" I could hear the concern in her voice. "I was just thinking about the old days, before Dean." She sighed and I knew she wanted to say something but she didn't. "I miss that Katie." I continued. "I miss that Katie too, but she isn't dead Katie, bring her back."
"But Dean-" I stopped. I knew she didn't like him. "Babe, you shouldn't have to stop being who you are for a guy. If he can't accept that screw him." I had to wipe away a tear from my eye. "But what if nobody else wants me Tara? What if nobody else wants fucked up Katie?" I could hear cracks in her voice too. "Katie, listen to me. I love you for who you are, flaws, past, everything because you are so strong because of all that. There is someone out there who's going to love you for who you are, just like me. Someone who will not try and change you." She stressed the last part and I knew she was referring to Dean. "Look I know you aren't ready to call it quits with Dean but he isn't the one Katie." We were both silent for a minute. "Thanks Tara. I promise I will call you tomorrow with all the details."
"You better!" She exclaimed. "Bye Tara."
"Bye Katie."
I took a moment to dry my tears and drank my entire glass. I put on a smile and headed back inside.
"Are you okay Katie?" Taehyung asked concerned. "I'm fine, thanks." I gave him the best smile I could at the moment. "I could use some more alcohol though." I handed him my glass and he poured me another drink, a big one this time. He handed it back to me and winked.
The rest of the evening passed by smoothly. I was able to smile and even laugh again and the guys and I really bonded. By the end of the night I felt really accepted by them.
