So I'm looking for a fic that I can't find where I can't remember what exactly happened, but it goes something like this;

Lwj and Wwx are sleeping, Lwj gets a nightmare, and he doesn't tell Wwx about it, but he figures it out anyway and then Wwx waits to see whether Lwj will go back to sleep or have sex. They have rough sex in which Wwx specifically requests that he doesn't want to come. And then they talk (I think it was just outside on a porch or something?) And then Lwj fingers him and gets him off.

I'm sorry I don't remember more, I think it was one chapter and I'm really desperately trying to find this fic. If you could find it it would be much appreciated!!

For 15, I don't THINK it's these, but have similar elements, so maybe, or at least interesting? I forget the name, but there's one fic where wwx and lz never met before the war, and wwx and the lans insist on an arranged marriage between him and a main clan member after the war (they live on burial mounds, not quite a sect kinda big household vibes) to kinda legitimize themselves to protect their people, thinking anyone sent by the clans to the "evil" yllz must be abused/not valued, so they'd actually be saving someone from a bad situation and into a married in name only respected guest situation. Only they get lz instead. Lxc is very worried for awhile thinking lz must be getting abused meanwhile yllz is a masked but perfect gentleman who proves to be a kind dedicated family leader/lord of the area and lz becomes sympathetic/supportive and ends up falling HARD for him and adores ayuan

there's also another one. Idk about a mask, but in it I think jgs? Tricks both wwx (backed by the bm wens) and the lans into thinking that each other are insisting on some sort of forced political marriage with each other, with the Jin being a "neutral party mediators" when actually the Jin are threatening and pressuring both sides into it/lying. Wwx lz and Co find out when they meet for first time on Jin grounds and unite against the jin.

there's also another fic featuring masks, where the yllz is more spooky unknown who always shows up wearing a full face? Silver mask, with the designs changing every now and then. You later find out that the identity of yllz is being shared between wwx, the wen siblings, and I think mxy? And this is during sunshot campaign after the sects asked for their help (tho they might of also offered it as a strategic move for themselves?)

16. ive been looking for a fic where for some reason wwx stays with the nie after the ssc. nmj threatens to cut off wwx's tongue if he does demonic cultivation but wwx just depresses his life away instead. jgy blocks letters from everyone so hes really isolated. eventually nhs brings him out of his shell and hes eventually allowed outside his rooms. Later, lxc comes to play clarity/rest, and in the training grounds wwx has a panic attack after being accused of cursing jyl and her second pregnancy whoch he hadnt even known about. Now that i think about it, it probably actually takes place after qiongqi pass.

follow up for the imprisoned in the nie fic, im fairly sure that in the summary, nhs is like "you used to be so confident and happy..."

17. Hi, can you help me find these fics? I've been going crazy! They were on ao3; I hope they haven't been deleted!

A) I think wwx was a ghost, & found himself at the Cloud Recesses in the aftermath of lwj's punishment. Lwj was in bad condition and almost died (a couple of times?) Eventually there was some sort of ritual to bring wwx back into a physical body, & he was in the adjoining room bc he was also very weak. (NB: this is not the fic where wwx is actually astral projecting from Baoshan Sanren's mountain, it's a different one).

B) Lwj stayed at the Burial Mounds, & his health was very poor, he kept getting very sick quite often. At one point there was an epidemic in Yiling; some of the Wens died, and then they went to go help in the town bc of their medical knowledge. Lwj had to stay separate bc of his fragile health; he had to tend the fields alone and he couldn't attend the funerals.

Hi, I messaged recently for help finding 2 fics, so naturally I finally find one of them again not 24 hours later 🙈 The one with Lan Zhan in poor health at the Burial Mounds/the epidemic situation is Over the Rotted Bridge by vailkagami! I know there are some comments that I haven't gotten round to responding to, and those haunt me. Please know that it's either because I don't have the spoons at this moment, or because it's been so long that I'm shy about replying. But I genuinely do appreciate each and every comment I receive. 💚

Probably No Man's Land (which also happened to be my first Undertale fic)

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I've got to say Photograph for that one. It still brings tears to my eyes rereading it, but they're happy tears.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

No one has said anything directly to me, but I did stumble upon a comment someone left elsewhere saying that one of my fics wasn't their thing because they "[didn't] like how the story is being told".

That really hurt at the time, especially as there was no other context as to why they felt that way. But my friends gave me encouragement and support.

Hmm... I can't think of any that would be my OTP. I generally prefer familial/platonic relationships, tbh

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

None of my WIPs are abandoned. But probably most of the original stories I've started and then never finished over the years. It's just much harder for me to maintain motivation when I don't have anyone reading my work and cheering me on.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I've always loved painting a scene or an emotion with words.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Oof, so many 😅 one thing I struggle with is wanting to post what I've written straight away. Sometimes that can work, like freshly baked bread. But most of the time it's like a plain cake: it needs time to cool, and then be assembled/decorated/finished in order to get the best experience from it.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I'd only do it if I was totally confident that I'd gotten it right. A common or short phrase would be my limit otherwise. If I really wanted to write dialogue in another language, I'd ask someone fluent in the language to help me with the translation and proof read my work.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

I think it was actually Legend of Zelda. I was about 12, and my brother, his friend and I made ourselves LoZ Ocarina of Time OCs. We started writing a fic of them, but never got very far.

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

Probably Photograph. I'm a sucker for a moving reunion scene, and that fic genuinely brought tears to my eyes as I was writing it.

I saw the post about the big Bioware sale and figured you're a good person to ask since I've seen you posting about Mass Effect/Dragon Age a lot. The games look fun, and I'm a sucker for complex stories with customizable protagonists, but I am a complete weenie about the more, uh, mature stuff when it comes to romance and the 'M' rating keeps scaring me off.

Like I'm over 18 and I'm fine with the violence/drinking/most of the swearing listed with the M rating, but I just get deeply uncomfortable with the other stuff. I'm just weird like that, I guess.

Is it really a lot? Or is there like a skip option, or some kinda setting that'll just have it be a fade-to-black sitch like SWTOR? I won't be too disappointed if there isn't, I kind of expect that really, but I figured it was worth an ask while the sale is on/to keep in mind for the next sale.

I have major social anxiety and am kinda embarrassed about all this, so sorry about the anon-asking. :P

No, no, you're fine, I understand completely. (I can take or leave a lot of the sexier stuff myself) Now I will try to remember romance scenes bc I haven't played some of these games in 4-5 years, and some of the romances I haven't gotten to yet. 😅 (if you don't mind spoilers you can always look up the romance on yt to check for yourself if it goes past your preferences. but if you do wanna avoid spoilers I will do my best) P much all the romances there's only even potentially anything that might be a problem in the Culmination Scene.

(If I got anything wrong anyone please feel free to correct me)

I know in ME1 the romance scene(with Kaidan for f!Shep, Ashley for m!Shep, Liara for either) there's sideview but shadowed nudity for f!Shep/Ashely/Liara(with Arm Strategically Placed to block boobs so all you really see is a little bit of butt) and Kaidan/mShep is shirtless.

ME2.... I think there's 0 nudity and ftb for Garrus, Thane, Tali, and Jack(ftb on tenderness, comes back in to fully-clothed snuggles in bed), Jacob's shirtless, and Miranda you half-unzip her catsuit uniform so you can see her bra. Oh, and there's a mini-romance-y thing with Kelly and she wears something really skimpy if you do that.

ME3... I need to caveat I've only actually gotten through ME3 with my Kaidanmancers + the Jackmancer, but I watched p much all the others on yt to hurt myself. Also it's been a while. I don't thiiiiink there's any full nudity, when it gets to the big sex scene toward the end, the furthest it goes is cuddling/foreplay with underwear still on, then cuts to waking up still just in underwear, and not all the romances get that. Some of them, ah. end prematurely for different reasons, or the romance isn't an actual companion in this game, so there's less content(Kaidan, Ashley, Garrus, Liara, and Tali get the most, since they join the team + have been established longer). There are new m/m and f/f exclusive option in ME3, but it's been long enough I don't rememberrrrrr if there's anything risque for them. I don't think so.

Andromeda I've only done Liam's romance and I don't think there was much in there(you can get him to stop wearing a shirt on the ship about halfway through and there's a makeout session on the couch that ftb). I think Cora's and Jaal's involve male and female shirtlessness, but I'm straight up blanking for the rest of them.

FOR DRAGON AGE

In Origins, the "big scene" for the romances does involve "sexy" movements, but the characters still have on underwear, so no nudity, and tbh with game engine/graphics advances that have been made a lot of people find those scenes cringey/silly more than sexy now. I think you can skip those, maybe, but if you can't there's dialogue after so you can just look away til you hear your chosen sweetie start talking and the conversation takes place fully clothed.

DA2 they did ftb for the four vanilla game romances. Love interest shows up, there's cutscene kissing fully clothed, ftb, wake up in underwear at worst. (Sebastian MY BELOVED is romanceable with a f!Hawke, but since he's a) chaste and b) a DLC companion, there's absolutely no sex scenes with him, you can get chaste married on his friend path and he'll talk about the two of you getting married to reclaim his homeland on his rival path).

DAI is... simultaneously best and worst in this regard lol Josephine and Solas there's nothing. Sera and Cassandra you see boobs and enough leg to hint at full nudity without actually showing it(Sera's might get a little more explicit, it's been longer for her so I don't 100% remember). Dorian's has... full rear nudity, but I think that's it. Blackwall's I don't remember, Cullen and Iron Bull both have scenes where you can tell they're naked, but the Inquisitor or an object is strategically in the way of the naughty bits.

OH AND not romance related, but possibly an issue, there are demons in the DRagon Age canon known as Desire Demons, who look like practically naked purple ladies(they have, like, an even skimpier version of the SWtOR Slave Girl outfit and are fond of caressing themselves seductively). They aren't in DAI, but do show up in the first two games for a few quests.

I have a theory that will probably not make anyone happy 😅

I actually mentioned some of this somewhere else, but I am going to add to it.

I think this entire thing is CAAs doing. I saw this somewhere, and they basically implied that they sell their actors for the higher bidder. So the agency gets a chunk of money for this, they promise the actor something in return and the actress get a exposure. This was said about Seb and Aly at the beginning.

So I do think this situation was an offer of "Hey, we think you should do a PR relationship with this person" and him agreeing. I think this was more "we are your talent agency we control the roles you receive and negotiate on your behalf for more money, you are going to do it" but he got to negotiate was the terms of the PR, which I think Sebastain didn't get to do because he had just signed with CAA but chris has been there a while so he sway with them. Because to me, this feels like a bad copy and paste job from the Sebastain/Aly show but smaller.

My theory is that instead of doing many pap walks like Seb did, where we see them kissing holding hands, going shopping, cring ass birthday video, we got breadcrumbs from her friend on NYE, family/friends follows and unfollows, and the other stuff as well, like the person explain in the article post you shared, they decided to use the fans for this and not the media, in a way to keep the whole this easier to hide in the future. This was any new joiner or casual person when they looked him up. All they got to see is NY pap walk, and now the video months later. There is no virtual evidence unless you take a long dive into the fandom, end even then, unless you know your way here, you won't be able to find blongs that talk about it. I know a lot of people don't like that part, but I guess it was better for him to use us than have to kiss her in public and since he can't seem to hold her hand for 5 minute I think the footage would be of hi throwing up directly after the kiss.

So yes, I think the story was planned ahead of time, and it was part of the contract. Will see other things, maybe I would t be surprised. I think he is genuinely trying to get out of it as soon as possible, and that's why they said a year and now trying to say 2 so that she and he leaches can get our of his life.

I want to point out that I am not babying him or making excuses as some of you will try to say, but I am simply theorising about this like everyone else is.

My #1 post of 2022

Hey guys so my first text post of 2022!

This is a bit later than I intended, but here we go...

So, 2021 while stressful due to obvious pandemic reasons, was also a weirdly decent year for me. It's a year that I discovered more of who I am and how good life could be now that I have finally begun to move on from past traumatic experiences and mental health problems, these problems I was still dealing with regardless of a pandemic or not. They had been lingering years before the worst shit happened to the whole world and I am grateful that I have worked them out, whether covid affected that or not. I can't say if it did to be honest. But anyway.

My point is that while yes, my mental health could always potentially get bad again, it seems that for the time being, I'm actually and honestly doing well. So there is that.

Life has also got pretty busy lately, so that would be why I don't use tumblr that often these days, but in spite of this, there have been some great peeps on here that I'm glad to have gotten to know in the last year or two on a semi regular basis, perhaps only spoken to a little or even just mutually followed.

So said peeps, I would like to give a special mention to. These peeps are just plain awesome and lovely (and I hope I don't forget anyone - sorry in advance if I did!!) are as follows:

This really goes to show that I have been using tumblr a lot less which I do deeply regret.

2022 has been a busier year than previous years and life got in the way from my creativity so I guess that's why!

i love shoma as well (the most of all skaters even) but i think it's a bit harsh to harp on about how low level and not enjoyable europeans was for you. that's quite rude actually. those are smaller fed skaters who don't get the same funding or support. they still put themselves out there, train hard (and often times go to school or work as well) and EARNED to compete at the european championships. and i think you can find something enjoyable or impressive about every single one of them. maybe you didn't mean for it to come across that way, and I usually really value your views of fs, but this isn't it, sorry.

Maybe it's a bit harsh but...I dunno why I have to pretend to enjoy it? Joy is something personal, objectively ofc each skater has some abilities that you can enjoy, but they didn't come out much with performances like that. (ofc I don't expect Europeans to be the level of Worlds and I don't compare them to Shoma bc none is comparable to him at all atm, but if I see bad performances I miss Shoma more bc I enjoy to watch him)

Usually I am the last person to not enjoy low level competitions...I watched couple of them live...but there is a difference between low level and just a really bad overall men free skate in a lower level competition. This is not about not deserving to be there or their funding or them being from small feds, this is about ppl who are there not performing to the abilities they have. Look how basically no one got through with their planned content and hardly anyone received new personal or season bests usually that happens a lot especially at Europeans.

I don't expect skaters with different training conditions to be able to do what skaters with perfect training conditions can do in the level of jumps etc but there are skaters with perfect training conditions Morisi Kvitelashvili, Daniel Grassl (no matter what is happening around him atm his training conditions are good), Gabriele Frangipani (who had a good start but fell apart, I really like that guy usually but as mistakes kept happening the performance was gone too) or even skaters who maybe not have perfect circumstances in everything, but still have fairly well support like Nikita Starostin who I usually enjoy very much just was not enjoyable to watch....or did you really enjoy Samoilov who completely bombed??? It's not enjoyable at all to see someone close to giving up right there on the ice and you can't excuse it with maybe not perfect training conditions, you judge what is on the ice. In the men free skate skaters didn't perform to their abilities aside from the top 5, but even there they made couple mistakes. It's normal to not skate clean, so that's really not about it and I can still enjoy them...but the overall performance level of the men free skate was bad. The training conditions have influence for sure on the abilties of each skater, but on the ice all that matters is what you show there and this was simply not a performance level to enjoy for me overall. There were still indeed skaters I enjoyed, that's also a reason I watch the whole competition so...

Let's list some skaters I liked at the men free apart from the top 5:

Andreas Nordeback (bc you could see the future potential and I am happy he was 9th place so Nikolaj Majorow can also compete next time together with Andreas)

Mihhail Selevko (bc this was a solid skate and he can actually emote to an audience, still room for growth but well, also happy that he got a 2nd spot for Estonia by finsihing 8th)

Valter Virtanen (bc he is admirable at 35 years old to still skate, being a doctor irl, and he had only one tiny mistake in his free skate)

If you think I was harsh you should have listened to German commentator Daniel Weiss...or the person he mentioned to have messaged him that this level feels like "Kreisliga" vs "Bundesliga" 😅

If you value my view on fs (thanks for that dunno if that is deserved as I simply tell my opinion) you should know that I am honestly sharing my feelings about skaters and their performances. Some of it may be perceived as nice, some of it can be perceived as harsh. But it can always be perceived as honest.

Okay, so I am like a dragon, I hoard stuff and only give it away if you make me so I am keeping everything indefinitely. That said, there are some wips from 2023 that I probably won't work on in 2024. Which doesn't mean that I WON'T pick them up at a later date. Just - the energy is low for them right now.

The ones dearest to me are:

Dan Lewis x Reader (platonic) comfort fic (might pick this up as soon as I find myself on the floor again but who knows, I'm not planning to go there for now)

"Family Outing" (Fugitive Doctor x River x Jenny family!fic that I love but have been struggling with for a while)

"River is wearing a butch bait t-shirt" mini comic (I might resume work on this one if someone bullies me enough, actually)

The build a doctor who episode polls (anyone remember those? Yeah so sorry about them, I will not continue that)

And my beloved project for 2023 that got abandoned somewhere in May(?) :

There are so many ideas for that one still in my brain and half-written scenes but tbh - there just hasn't been enough resonance to stay motivated. I love the characters and I'll continue to think about them. Maybe I'll make some art next year. But write for them? Not at the moment, that just needs too much energy for 7 hits 2 kudos fics. I like screaming into the void but I will probably do that in my head from now on.

So now I'm sad 😅 No, I know it's good to let stuff go that just takes too much energy. And it's important not to feel guilty about it. And it's not like I CAN'T continue these projects next year, it's just that I am promising myself now that I don't HAVE TO. So, this is actually cause for celebration.

Just - dragon hoarder brain has troubles agreeing with that 🤷

But thank you so much, it's good to honour these projects if nothing else. I had a lot of fun working on them regardless of the result :)

Oh nooo I'm so sorry to hear your job's been sucky too 😔 for us, we have this new girl now (she's been working maybe two months I think? and I've been working at this place longer than any of the other employees - over a year and a half) anyway she came in and started bossing us around and in the process became manager. She's beyond controlling, even over little things that aren't hurting anybody y'know. I used to enjoy my job somewhat but I cannot stand it now that she's around micromanaging everything. I totally get being mistaken for grunge too - I was never really into grunge but I wore a lot of flannel and eyeliner back in high school and people always assumed from that I guess. My aesthetic now is really like, 70s and hippieish for lack of a better word 😂 I like flower crowns and heart shaped sunglasses, my hair is usually just down and natural and I don't wear much makeup (just eyeliner, I can't live without eyeliner). I like colorful clothes with loud patterns, lots of jewelry (I always say I'm Ringo Starr in disguise as a joke because I wear at least two rings on each hand, plus my mantra✌peace and love). Eventually I'm gonna buy myself some bell bottoms and platform shoes to complete my 70s look 😂 My favorite albums are always changing! But at this moment they would be: 1. Hypnotic Eye (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers) 2. The Traveling Wilburys Collection 3. Let It Roll - Songs of George Harrison 4. Rubber Soul (The Beatles) and 5. Full Moon Fever (Tom Petty) I have SO MANY favorites but those are pretty much the ones I have on repeat lately. For musicians I'd say Stevie Nicks will always be a favorite of mine, I just adore her. And Myles Kennedy is also a favorite of mine that I'm getting into again recently, have you heard of him? I love that you listed Sav, I used to have the biggest crush on him in high school 😂 my favorites were bass players so much of the time, like Nikki Sixx, Duff McKagan, and Jeff Pilson as well. I look up to Slash as a guitar player, I also love George Lynch and Chris DeGarmo as guitar players too. As far as my current interests go, Tom Petty has absolutely stolen my heart and George Harrison isn't far behind 😂 that's probably obvious by now. And Mike Campbell (of the Heartbreakers) is an AMAZING guitar player who I really think deserves more recognition than he gets. Now speaking of favorite musicians, if you were to take five of your favorites to put in a band together who would you pick? It doesn't even have to be realistic, it's just fun imagining it! -❄

What is one "What could go wrong?" moment that you had that actually went very wrong.

That's a really interesting question anon and I have just the one for you.

Now the whole situation is so much easier to talk about now and even slightly humorous in a weird way, but when it was happening... fucking hell it was terrifying.

So what happen was that one of my closest friends (let's call her Ann) was going on a date with this guy and well, I had only met him once and to be honest, I didn't like him buuuut Ann always went on these random dates with these random guys for fun so like I didn't really think much about it. (This all happened about a year ago) so anyways, I was talking to her on the phone as she was getting ready and she is such a worrier, so I was kinda teasing her about it and telling her not to fool around cuz random dude wasn't worth it. Either way she went on the date and I thought you know "it's normal she'll just call me after she comes home". So I put on my favorite movie and just did my writing and stuff.

About an hour went by and I don't know why but I had this weird feeling in my stomach so I picked up my phone to see if she'd called and there was about a ton of unread messages on it. I freaked out.

She usually calls me you know. Like annoyingly calls me even for the little things (says she wants conversations I can't weasel my way out of😅) so all these texts freaked me out. Anyways, after I opened my phone I could see that she'd texted me about 5 minutes or so ago (all of them saying to please answer and to please come get her etc), so I immediately called and you have no idea how terrified I was while the phone rang. I was imagining all kinds of stuff and it didn't help that the phone rang forever before she finally picked up.

Ann was crying and I didn't understand half the shit she was saying but what I understood was that she didn't know where she was and that she was scared. Stupid me didn't even have time to ask where the hell the idiot was and what he'd done before I just rushed of and woke my brother up and asked him to drive me around until we found her.

I'm not good with directions or landmarks so I was so scared that we wouldn't find her and Ann sounded like she was out of it and she told me while we were on the way that she didn't want him to find her

Anyways bless my older brother for staying calm during it all and actually managing to calm her down and get some form of info out of her and we found her in 20m or so I think but to me it felt like hours and the whole time I was imagining the most terrible things. Now, a lot of my friends go out drinking and partying and yes they do call me drunk sometimes talking funny and making dumb jokes, and half the time I'm not worried about them at all, because they are just having fun. But when anyone calls me crying.... yeah, it's scary. Especially when it's Ann. Cuz she is probably one of the most responsible people I know.

Either way, turns out the idiot was an asshole and only went out with her so he could sleep with her and when things started escalating she bailed and I'm glad she got out of that situation safely.

For some reason, the whole thing has sorta become an inside joke for us now😅. Whenever we see a shady dude we scale him on that idiot level. Like from 1 to 10. Or whenever one of us are feeling down we say his name and the other person comes over to watch movies or somethings😂

Sooooo I don't think this was what you were expected when you asked this question. (Sorry about that, Ann came over today and we're having a sleep over, so that's the first story that came to mind for me) but hope it ticks the box anyways😁
