21. Something I've kept since childhood? Besides existential dread haha? I have an old teddy bear that I'm sure I took scissors to for a haircut when I was little. He protected me from many an imagined terror in the dark.

25. Perfume, etc. I actually have quite an extensive perfume collection, and I like to rotate them between the seasons. It's fairly hot here right now, so I've been wearing D&G Light Blue Intense (cooling and fresh lemon and green apple) and MJ Daisy Ever So Fresh (uplifting tropical orange) among some others.

I'm in the middle of reading the Devil's Minion chapter and tbh why were the blenders and microwaves what people focused on when trying to sell how bizarre Armand is. Blending stuff based on colour alone and microwaving rats were the most normal vampire things about him that I've read so far 😭.

I'm more surprised that the guy has a literal gaming room. A whole room for his videogames. He also recorded a timelapse of himself sleeping, and watches it back for fun. He was obsessed with taking long haul flights, sometimes returning back to the same location on the same night. Bro just had a hyperfixation on planes, he did not care where he was going. He also hyperfixated on astrology and had massive telescopes installed onto buildings he only lived in for days at a time before moving on. He gets so impatient to go out with Daniel that he throws his boyfriend in the shower and washes and shaves him himself if Daniel is feeling sleepy. He's actually insane

This little NPC is lost. The Narrator [Black] has come to guide her back to where she needs to be. [Blank Scripts AU]

I imagine Black would be a lot more tolerant toward his NPCs since they're basically just the Dungeons spawns, and by extension, his own creations.

[If you're familiar with manhwas / manhuas that features the dungeon / system genre, you'd be able to understand this AU a lot easier. The majority of my inspiration for worldbuilding came from those specific genres.]

[NOTE: 'Dungeon' is just another term for the Parable. Technically, Black owns a Dungeon and the Parable is just a small part of it. The Dungeon itself is much, much larger.]

For context, the comic below references this post about the Dungeon's children/guard dogs.

[They're more like the immune system since all they do is make sure the (body) is safe.]

[The reason the Narrator [Black] considers them his children is that the Dungeon is feeding off his energy and in turn shares the 'nutrients' to the monsters it produces, which transforms them into an image that resembles his power.]

Joseph is NOT AN NPC! He is a person who exists outside of the Dungeon!

[There are two separate 'worlds' for this AU. Inside the Dungeon (where most of the game-like stuff is happening) and the world outside (pretty much their normal world.)]

[There is a secret third world, and that's our world. Our reality.]

These characters are not actually important or anything, I just made them to make the AU feel more lively. To make a world that exists, you know?

When the Narrator [Black] first established himself in their world, he found a growing problem with homelessness. Not understanding human norms or why this has become a problem in the first place, he offers (tricks) them into working for him as janitors for the Dungeon and they accept for the money.

Most of them left after they got paid, but Joseph was one of the people who stayed. He doesn't have anywhere else to go and has no ambitions in life. He just wishes to live a peaceful life with food and a roof over his head.

Joseph defaults to referring to the Narrator [Black] with feminine terms due to his appearance despite his voice. The Narrator [Black] is not the type to care for such terms anyway so he doesn't care how other people refer to him as long as there's respect.

This post focuses more on the worldbuilding and background aspects of the AU! There are a lot more in store for the Blank Scripts AU, and I want to explore more on how the characters might interact with their surroundings and how this would work to make a world that makes sense.

It would be so cool if people made self-inserts or OCs for my AU actually. I'd love to see how you guys would work with my stuff. Play around with it like a barbie world for your little barbie dolls. Be canon compliant, be canon divergent, who cares, have fun.

In my personal hc, Quinn and Tank didn’t have a “brief dalliance”. They dated for much longer than in canon, like at least a year.

Gabe’s death hits Tank hard. He was practically their adopted father and was one of the only people looking out for them. Then Tank’s family moves to Washington, and Tank is left alone, for all intents and purposes.

They meet Quinn soon after. It’s a “friendship” that quickly evolves into something more complicated. Quinn is a masterful manipulator, and he reads people very well. He can see how isolated Tank is, with no outlet for their grief or self loathing. He knows he can use this to his advantage.

However, he can also see that Tank has strong morals. They are loyal to a fault and have a resolute sense of justice. Quinn knows he has to play his cards right. He can’t reveal his true nature to them until they are so tightly wrapped around his finger that they can’t bear to let him go.

So he lures them in. He lets them be wild and messy. The two of them break social rules and engage in taboo activities, like feeding. They’re reckless, but they don’t hurt anyone (other than themselves). Quinn only brings Tank into certain crowds, only lets them see certain sides of himself.

Then he starts to hurt Tank. They take it because they’re “tough”, and they think they deserve it. The abuse worsens. The pack starts to get concerned. In response, Tank pulls away. They don’t want the pack to be concerned or get involved. Tank accepts Quinn’s behavior because his cruelty is only directed at them.

Eventually, Quinn brings them into his innermost circle. He stops hiding his criminal activities. He stops hiding how he hurts people. He lets them see how inhumane he is, believing Tank is too far in and too loyal and too damaged to ever defy him.

But Tank is a good person. Despite what Quinn tells them. Despite what Tank believes. They have a good heart and care for others deeply. So when they see Quinn’s true colors, they report him and leave.

And Tank thinks that makes them weak. But it’s one of the strongest things they’ve ever done.

The Fantasy High player characters get in so many combat situations where I would just leave. I would just be like 'this isn't our problem' and encourage the rest of my party to withdraw as quickly and safely as possible. They're teenagers. Apologies to all my GMs but if I don't have to be in a fight and there's no clear benefit I simply will not be. I would've prioritised getting my party out of the nightclub and left the zombie DJ to his bloodbath. Now they're facing a concrete golem, fuck that. I would just leave.

Day 2 without electricity, thanks to all the snow and ice! 🥶 My phone battery is somehow still hanging on, and I’m keeping warm with a fireplace, blankets, and my dog. Outside, it’s 21°F with about 8 inches of snow and a nice sheet of ice. Apparently, this is some of the heaviest snow we’ve had in over 10 years—and judging by the state of my tree, I think it agrees. (the ice is pretty tho...)

I’ve miraculously avoided falling on my butt or launching a snowball at anyone. (Not that I’d ever consider pelting my brother for making a short joke towards me… nope, not me. 🙃)

Writing is tricky without power, but I’m making do by jotting down ideas and code in my notes app. On the bright side, I’ve been brainstorming some fun details for Chapter 2! There’s a scene where you’ll get to choose pajama styles, but my little lizard brain can only think of so many options. If you have any specific types you’d love to see, drop them in the comments—I’d love to hear your suggestions!

Classic pajamas, long sleeves with pajama pants (I'm thinking the plaid type, but I may add some variations.)

Nightie (because I remember someone mentioning wearing that in front of Cam to torture him. Sorry bud.)
