as much as I am a fan of mononoke (and the new medicine seller) and even with the amount of fanart I draw for the new movie,,, I do agree with this.
I didn't like the new mononoke movie ☹️
#i cant believe im not the only one who wasnt a huge fan of the soundtrack LOL#the characters look way too similar (?) aesthetically#this whole entire post is what i thought sbout the movie right after watching it#kon doesnt stand out as much as ri and that annoys me a bit :/#the pacing was terrible#don't really mind asa and kame but kame couldve been slightly less annoying#i dont mind the ri and kon thing#but god did they introduce kon horribly#wouldntve have mind if ri was in the movie since he already has had the spotlight in his own series#but kon is a completely new character and doesnt even come to the truth and reason with a challenge?#it felt like the truth and reason were just given so easily#hell i would even say that asa somewhat takes the place of the medicine seller with her early interactions with kitagawa#kon doesnt feel like an important character in his own movie#sorry for ranting under ur post btw (´；ω；｀)#im just happy that someone else also shares the same thoughts as me regarding this movie
