The request: Hi I saw a you do a request about dating yeji I was wondering if you could do where yeji is in love with y/n and yeji ask the twice members if she could date y/n. They were hesitant because the members still saw y/n as kid especially the j-line( even though already off age) but after they saw how happy y/n is with yeji and how yeji babying y/n they agreed. In the heart of Seoul, where the city's vibrancy and tradition melded seamlessly, lived a tale of an unexpected romance that would forever change the lives of two young women. Y/N, the 10th member of TWICE, was known for her radiant smile, infectious laughter, and an endearing innocence that had always endeared her to her unnies. But little did she know that her life was about to take a turn she never anticipated.

Among the unnies, there was one who had been holding a secret. Yeji, the charismatic leader of ITZY, was the epitome of cool confidence onstage. Yet, behind that fierce facade was a heart that beat irregularly whenever the youngest was around (Not Shy is a lie~ atm lol). Yeji's feelings had gradually evolved from friendship to something deeper, something she could no longer ignore.

One cold autumn evening, after a day filled with practice and schedules, Yeji finally decided to open her heart. She invited Y/N to her favourite spot,  a tranquil rooftop garden, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city below. Underneath the starlit sky, the soft murmur of a city at rest, Yeji took a deep breath and spoke her truth, her voice a mix of trepidation and resolve.

Yeji - Y/N, there's something I've been wanting to tell you... 

TWICE's angel's eyes shone with curiosity and warmth, urging Yeji to continue. 

Yeji - I... I've realized that my feelings for you go beyond friendship. I've fallen in love with you, Y/N.

The words hung in the air like constellations, each one carrying the weight of Yeji's vulnerability. the maknae was taken aback, her heart fluttering like a hummingbird's wings. She searched Yeji's eyes, seeking sincerity, and found it there, shining like a lighthouse in the darkness. Y/N felt a flood of emotions swirl within her. She cherished their friendship, the way Yeji's laughter echoed in her memories and the late-night conversations they shared. Yet, this confession introduced a new layer to their relationship, one that the younger girl hadn't considered before.

Yeji, sensing Y/N's internal struggle, hurried to speak, her voice a mix of anxiety and earnestness. 

Yeji - I understand if this is surprising or if you need time. But I couldn't keep my feelings hidden any longer. I wanted you to know, Y/N!

TWICE's honey's heart was torn between the familiarity of their friendship and the exhilaration of this unexpected revelation. She looked at Yeji, feeling a gentle warmth radiating from within.

Y/N - Yeji unnie, I appreciate your honesty. I need some time to process everything if that's okay.

Yeji nodded, her smile tinged with relief. 

Yeji - Of course, Y/N. Take all the time you need. I'll be here, no matter what (such a cutie).

In the days that followed, TWICE's sunshine found herself navigating uncharted emotional territory. She cherished her friendship with Yeji and was grateful for the love that had been expressed. But she couldn't ignore the gentle whispers of her heart, the possibility of something more. 

As Y/N wrestled with her feelings, the word inevitably spread within the TWICE sisters. The unnies gathered, concern etching their features as they discussed Yeji's confession. Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu all had their opinions, each reflecting their unique bond with their baby.

The J-line, known for their protective instincts over the younger members, were the most hesitant. Momo, Sana, and Mina had seen Y/N grow up and shared moments of laughter and guidance. To them, Y/N was still the cherished younger sibling, the one they'd nurtured and looked after. Momo sighed, her gaze distant as she spoke softly.

Momo - I mean, she's still our baby Y/N, isn't she? Can we really picture her in a romantic relationship?

Sana nodded in agreement, her brows furrowed. 

Sana - It's just strange to think about. Our maknae dating someone, especially Yeji.

Mina, usually the calm and composed one, added her opinion to the convo.

Mina - But if Y/N truly cares for Yeji, and if Yeji makes her happy, shouldn't we support her?

As the discussions continued, opinions shifted, and perceptions evolved. The unnies started to notice the small things: The way Y/N's eyes lit up when Yeji entered the room, the laughter that seemed to come easier when they were together and the way they looked out for each other during tough times.

One day, as the members were gathered backstage before a performance, Y/N and Yeji walked in, their hands entwined. There was an air of comfort between them, a sense of unity that spoke volumes. Momo, Sana, and Mina exchanged a knowing glance, a silent understanding passing between them. During a break, Tzuyu approached her only dongsang. 

Tzuyu - Hey, bae, can I talk to you for a moment?

Y/N nodded and followed Tzuyu to a quieter corner. Tzuyu looked at her, her gaze earnest yet gentle. 

Tzuyu - Love, we've been talking as unnies, and I just wanted to say that if Yeji makes you happy, we support you. You're not a kid anymore, you're an adult capable of making your own choices.

Tears welled up in the youngest's eyes as she realized the depth of her unnies' love and understanding. She hugged Tzuyu tightly, whispering a heartfelt thank you.

Over time, as they witnessed the tenderness and care that Yeji showered upon their child, as they saw the happiness that radiated from both of them when they were together, the unnies' hesitance melted away. They began to see the love between Y/N and Yeji. The turning point came during a quiet evening at the dorm. The members were sitting together, sharing stories and laughter. The couple was wrapped up in each other, their affection evident in every touch and glance. The J-line exchanged a glance once more, this time filled with warmth and approval.

Momo cleared her throat, drawing everyone's attention. 

Momo - Darling, Yeji, we want to say something.

She exchanged a knowing smile with Sana and Mina before continuing.

Momo - We've had our concerns, but seeing the two of you together, we can't deny the happiness you bring each other. If Yeji makes you happy, sweetheart, then we're happy for you both.

Tears shimmered in Y/N's eyes as she looked at her unnies, feeling a flood of emotions overwhelm her. Yeji held her hand, her grip reassuring, as she smiled at the members. 

Y/N - Thank you, unnies. Your approval means the world to us, to me.

From that moment, Y/N and Yeji's relationship bloomed without reservation. As autumn melted into winter and then blossomed into spring, their relationship continued to be written, a melody of two hearts that had found their harmonious rhythm with the TWICE unnies alongside them, and this made the couple have only one thought:

I am so loved by my dear unnies.

I’m alive anon! Thanks so much for your concern and kind words. For the past month it’s been kinda Struggle Town, Population : me, but hopefully everything will chill out soon. Regarding the bracket i will get to it when i get to it, sorry but i still have a few major things to get done irl.

If anyone’s interested, here’s the brief rundown of all the life things i had to deal with lately (feel free to skip this part, this will just be me ranting)

Had to get a new phone because the old one stopped working

Wrote 2 big exams for university and 2 smaller ones

My parents’ bathroom got flooded while i was in town, so i helped deal with that

Had to get new glasses, because the old ones stopped working well

Had to get a Hepatitis B vaccine as an adult, which was kinda difficult to achieve

A worse period in my mental health

Went to the dentist for a minor concern, found out i have to get all of my wisdom teeth removed

Lost a textbook i borrowed from the library, had to go on a wild goose chase around railway lost and found offices to get it back

Spring allergies, boooyah

So yeah. None of these things are a big deal on their own, but i’ve been a bit overwhelmed, lol.

And when my face finally looked normal again (so I thought) and went back to school, the first thing a friend shoutet at me was: "Aww how cute, you little hamster cheek!" first of all. i love brandon moreno. i have not been a fan for long, only about three weeks now, but he has earned my number one spot and is keeping it, forever. i could scream and cry and pee my pants talking about him, but i will keep calm because... wow. brandon moreno. he is just. everything that is wonderful about the world personified into one man.

i find his attitude in this line of work so refreshing, he's so respectful of other fighters and so kind while also being a complete badass and holding his own ground. and the fact that he's SUCH A SWEETIE???? HE MAKES HIS MONEY BY GETTING INTO A CAGE TO FIGHT ANOTHER PERSON AND BE TELEVISED DOING IT AND HE'S SUCH!! A SWEETIE!!

he collects legos and is married to a woman he's been dating since (i think) 18 and together they have three beautiful children and they're all GIRLS!! and he's so kind to his wife and his kids and so genuinely wholesome while being so mature and grounded and grateful for everything in his life.

also i find him so hot. he's such a baddie bro.

my bf was the one who got me into mma/ufc, and i have a running joke with him that i only like characters in media that are hot, so i asked him to show me hot fighters and well. brandon moreno was the second one he showed me lol!

OH MY GOOOOOD charles was my introduction into ufc!! the first fight i ever watched was charles v. dustin and it was a great one to start with!! i love charles's fights because you're always guaranteed excitement and flare!! he's always moving in and being bold, and i truly adore how all of his fights go.

also he's so soooo fucking cute with his daughter oh my god???? he loves her so much and i can't fucking handle it

i love him so much... i also love how, like moreno, he came from a struggling background and how he had to struggle to become successful. no nepotism babies in my house! i think he's made such great strides, and i love seeing an underdog become a champ it’s so good. he deserves everything he's gotten.

do i sometimes question how humble he really is?? yeah. do i sometimes think maybe just mayybeee the fame and glory gets to him? mhm, yeah. do i also think i would be super cocky if i won against dustin and michael and justin and TONY FERGUSON??? oh definitely.

tony's 12 win streak ending because of gaethje is so bittersweet because i love both of them. i hate that tony is on this downward spiral, but you know, you only go for so long in this type of work. 38 isn't that old when it comes to life, but when it comes to mma... idk sometimes you just gotta know when to call it quits and i hope he doesn't push himself :/

i also have a super soft spot for kai kara france!! i think he's a genuinely good person and him and his wife and son are a super cute family. i love seeing supportive spouses wahhh it makes me so happy.

kai is such a sweetheart and he deserves so much more. i talk about it with my bf all the time: kai deserves to be champ, he really does, but even if he beat moreno and went on to figgy, i think he would have lost. :/

figgy and moreno are just... leagues above the rest of the division, and yes them going against each other for the fourth time is lowkey repetitive... but like not really. all three of their fights have been so fucking engaging and it's crazy to see how equally matched they are. they're destined to fight. enemies to lovers slowburn soulmates.

but kai is amazing. just not... ready for figgy i feel yknow? i'd happily watch him and moreno fight again though.

Wanted to let y'all know it'll still probably be a while before I post any fics or respond to requests, life's just not going well so I don't have much time for hobbies or socials. :(

I need to move in a few months so that's been stressful trying to sort everything out for, especially cause my surgery got moved to around that time. I got diagnosed with a few new health conditions just a few days before I was supposed to get surgery so they had to postpone it to make sure that it would be safe to still get. Also supposed to get all four wisdom teeth removed soon cause they're causing a lot of pain and I've been putting it off for the last year.

Sorry for not being able to respond to things or post any content the last few months. I keep hoping to get some breaks so I can get in a better headspace and be able to write again but life isn't playing along lol

... so most of my 2020 art is not Star Wars related and not on tumblr, but I think we have a fun mix of both in this list. please pardon the essay, yikes (also a disclaimer that I very, very rarely title my art, so you’re just getting whatever it’s called in my files, and those titles are usually... pretty dumb)

mace is the best ok - I was very new to tumblr, kinda planning on only posting the more casual, messy art? but seeing general fandom trends of portraying Mace as fundamentally exasperated made me sad because he feels like a pretty calm character to me. so I decided to draw him happy and relaxed, fueled by spite to go all out with it. it took a good 15-16 hours, iirc, and an unholy amount of data space, just because there were a lot of unfamiliar elements that I wrestled with.

sad grad student - this one’s quite recent, I’m mainly proud of it because I don’t often draw plants and this one nearly made me cry. same with the lighting. it’s one of those things where I’m not fully happy with it but I’m very happy it’s over.

fdsfjds juice - this is the first instance of me reading a fic and being violently assaulted by an image in it to the point that I draw it, dump it in the comments and run. I look back on it with a bit of fond cringe, since I was still searching for a way to draw the characters (still am, really, because what is consistency) so it looks a bit off to me, but it’s a fun memory. (if it looks a bit familliar, that’s because on many levels this is its spiritual successor)

walking the sky leaves a scar - a bit of personal art, from around July. the concept’s been bouncing around my head for a good two years, so I finally sat down, spent a few months trying to learn how paint clouds, and then got it down for the first time. I’ll probably end up revisiting it a bunch as I learn how to do it better. 

party hat - I’d just gotten my wisdom teeth removed and spent a good week and a half loopy on pain medication, so this is the result of that lol. It’s a study of a stock photo (unfortunately I don’t remember where to find it? ychchc sorry) that started out as me testing a new brush I made and ended with me indulging my occasional obsession with fabric

hi. so..... its been a while huh? feels kinda weird making a message on here, after what??? a month of not posting at fucking all??

and idk how to say that im sorry for taking so long, especially with kallie kinda sticking with me pretty much the whole time i was away. so we both kinda went AFK on everybody. and by god, this has also been the longest gap between updates. so yeah... i feel you all are owed an explanation. 

id like to give a short summary of what went down in my life recently. not so much as an excuse for my disappearance, but bearing in mind, i can't just come back suddenly without a notice as to why it took so long, and then start discussing homestuck theories as if nothing happened, that would be ...weird and off putting. im known as one to talk a lot in a post, so i think its expected. buckle up kiddos, this may be a long one, which you dont have to necessarily read, but im simply putting it out there for you all in case any of you may have been worried or confused. 

ALSO, keep in mind im alright with sharing this information because i needed some time to get over it in order to accept it, and being able to say this stuff means im pretty much ready to move on and go back to what it was like before (which for someone who has trouble focussing, can get quite fucking hard). so here's the last few months in a nutshell:

i got my wisdom teeth pulled so i was both in pain and numb for a week and a half after being drugged up with, idk, the IV they use to knock you tf out and that needle to numb your teeth?? and having those bad boys outta my mouth so that was a fun time. fuck that shit.

uhhh on the more upsetting side of things, a friend of mine recently passed away, but i took some time to recover from that. i didnt want to bum everybody out by liveblogging while in that state, nor did i feel like it was right to make jokes at that time (for obvious reasons) so i took some time off. and while i do still care for that person, after a while you have to come to terms that your life can't evolve around grief, and you have to move on eventually. its been a month and im doing way better than i was in the first week. so you dont have to worry really.. i even heard about the messages friends wrote on discord and let me tell you that i appreciate every response, i love all of them, i love all of you guys, but if any of you worry about me as of today, just know im doing perfectly fine and thats behind me now. so yeah, thats the worst of the news..

on less distressing matters, i changed up my job! i used to be a waitress at a restaurant to get that not so mucho money cash flowing, and now i got a full time placement as an intern (sort of full-time. full-time with student conditions). which in hindsight, to some may not sound like its any helpful, but considering im in my final year of college and i have to explore new places to get experience, id rather go where its needed so i reach that specific goal in mind. and you have to start somewhere, so this is where ill start heading. though i do still have to graduate which will take a lot of stress out of me eventually but it hasnt yet caught up lol... yikes to when that fuse blows in the future. 

and finally, the most frustrating part of the month, idk who it was specifically, the company or the landlord, but eh details arent that important, anyways, the landlord and/or its agency messed up with our rental situation and lost a lot of our info so i had to spend a lot of time trying to get that back while also filling out tax returns bc those were finally put out. so yeah, we kinda just have to wait for a notice, though i personally think everything will be fine. we’re considering moving out eventually, but thats probably gonna have to wait a bit longer. while we’re still angry, the landlord respected that it was out of line and apologised while making it up to us, so that was fair enough.

so YEAH, you can pretty much say its been one hell of a fucking month, and i had barely any time to liveblog let alone be in contact with friends that i kinda missed so fucking much????... i basically didnt want to bring anybody down with me (emotionally or mentally), so i decided to at least give you all a warning that i wouldnt be on for a while, hence the last update a few weeks prior, and to take a break for myself to figure out my situation, to rest, and to try and get healthier despite that wisdom fuck week, which nobody warned me wisdom teeth removals were ABSOLUTE HELL

but... im glad to be back, im not sure ill get back into the rhythm of how things used to be, meaning, posting almost every day....that would have to wait a bit unfortunately. however, i think it would be best if i made a sort of schedule for myself. maybe a liveblog twice a week, starting the next. it would help out a lot. i hope to start off with that at least, and not push myself too hard for hours anymore nor the stress of needing to post daily. i loved it, dont get me wrong, but sometimes it took a lot out of me since i know it takes a lot of my time. that being said, i will be on discord, maybe tomorrow? and probably be more active on there from now on, since everything is sorta cleared in my life and there's no more hectic commotion 24/7. the only thing at this rate stopping me from being active is having family over in the next couple weeks. but otherwise, yeah, its good to be back and im again sorry for my absence once more.

I wasn’t all that fond of 15x10 while I watched it yesterday. I loved the premise and Garth, but I think it was just a bit too over the top for me. The placement of this episode within the greater context of it being the final episode and following the rather gloomy previous episode just made it feel a bit off. That aside, I just didn’t enjoy watching it all that much even though I could appreciate what we were given.

But I’m giving it another rewatch and another chance! I’d love to hear your thoughts too, whether you agree or disagree with my reactions. :D

It takes hardly any time for us to notice something completely amiss and they don’t even hide it: a classical piece of music accompanying a bloody fight between two monsters. Everyone is going to notice that this isn’t quite right, which then guides over into the next thought: the editing makes or breaks a scene. I think that’s the overall theme I took away from this episode. Metatron said that God posted the first draft and we’ve seen both Becky and Metatron edit God’s writing. The first conclusion we could draw is that God is not “editing” Sam and Dean’s story. But actually that doesn’t make a lot of sense because he couldn’t see Sam and Dean before either and they were fine. It’s maybe that he over-edits it. He throws problems in their ways that are... well, kind of what Becky wanted; the everday issues. Them dealing with laundry all day. This is the stuff we write, ad absurdum. And with monsters.

So the theory I’m going with right now is that Chuck is editing, just differently than before.

One preliminary thought regarding Garth: Were there no consequences to the Grace he had swallowed during AU Michael’s weird monster plan? What happened to that monster plan in general? Michael seems to be very bad at stragegizing.......

Dean’ shopping: The shop is called Berens’ quick trip. Berens is always sending us on a trip, though I think this one was Dabb’s fever dream. *lol* Lots of music for what is basically just showing Dean shopping. We see the guy giving Dean a ticket through the window but Dean’s oblivious, too focused on shopping. (Two six packs of beer. This might either show Dean indulging or Dean stocking up for Cas, not that Cas wants beer usually.) 

Dean knows the store attendant by name, so I guess this is a place he goes to often, though I doubt it’s in Lebanon because of the high rises in the background? 

What did Dean buy? Some beer, a magazine, some chips, something sweet he’s eating... How did that amount to over 40$? Why did he go buy that? Why not go to a proper store and buy proper food? Just beer and snacks? As someone who has to do her own shopping now this seems inefficient. (And my shopping center is in 5 minutes walking distance. *lol*) Also, I think I’ve seen people mention that the magazine is a cooking or baking magazine?

Also, here’s the first instance we have of Dean’s teeth hurting. Just stop eating the chocolate you silly man.

I have no compassion for Dean whining about getting a ticket. He’s not allowed to park there. Rules apply for you too, Mr. Winchester. I don’t like people who think they can do what they want. *thinks back to young snobby looking BMW driver who parked in the middle of a square in front of a bank and who got a ticket* *Schadenfreude* (That’s the kind of person I am. I like people who think rules don’t apply for them to be punished by the law.)

Sam’s scene in the kitchen: I assume it was Dean who had started cooking and then just walked away to get some more shopping done. This is merely based on my assumption that Sam doesn’t cook. We know that Sam sometimes does kinda stupid things like blowing on paper to make the fire go out... Touching things straight out of the oven and putting his hands on a hot pot are pretty thoughtless. And he’s clumsy apparently.

Also why the heck would he pull the pot from the stove? It wasn’t even boiling over. Just lower the temperature. Have you never been in a kitchen before, dude? And you’re not even cleaning up after yourself?

Dean and Sam discussing their issues: So Sam never trips? Both noticed right away that this was weird. Sam looks so offended. Like “I’m Sam Fucking Winchester, I don’t trip!”?

Also, did Sam say “dinner”? Is it already evening and they’ve just been hit with “normal person-itis” now? I see Sam’s watch but I can’t decipher it right. It it 5:35? What time of the year is it in canon? I was still light outside when Dean was shopping.

In the car on the way to Garth: A look, it’s dark now, which suppors the “they just randomly got hit with normal people problems. The music for this scene is also unusual. 

I’m annoyed that Cas is in heaven. Why. Why is he up there? Why does SPN always stash Cas out of the way with random stuff? It would have been nice if there had been a phone call or something with Cas checking in or just a mention that Dean was driving back from dropping Cas off at the angel gate or whatever. It takes so little, makes such an impact for me. This? Sorry. It’s just not enough for me.

Why is the car giving up the ghost? Especially in such a weird way? Isn’t Dean constantly working on the Impala? This is not normal people problems either.

At Garth’s: So Sam and Dean walked like 16km? Couldn’t they have taken public transport OR a taxi like normal people...? Or call road assistance or Garth at least? I don’t know what it’s like in the US but that seems a bit extra, even for Sam and Dean.

Garth and Bess have an old style phone in their house, which is a random remark but it’s a nice deco object.

Garth’s Twins: I don’t quite understand why Garth calls the twins Sam and Castiel. What kind of connection does Garth have to Cas? Why not Sam and Dean? If only one of the brothers, why Sam? He has more of a connection to Dean after all? I don’t get it. Dabb just liking it when people prefer Sam and Dean has to roll his eyes at it? :/

Again with the weird, out of place music when they have a look at Bess’ cousin.

Dean and Garth: The dramatic music when Dean steps into the dentist’s room. *lol* And then his disquieted “you’re very strong” when Garth forced him. I think since Garth treats werewolves who might also have an aversion to the dentist, he’d be used having to use a bit of force *lol* Besides. I really love getting insight into how monsters deal with “normal people problems” because they have them too. It’s a shame that we don’t see more of that side to monsters. We only see those monsters who mess up after all, rarely those who try to blend in. 

I might not know much about dentistry but I only had cotton stuffed into my bleeding mouth like that when I got my wisdom teeth out in an operation. Sure, I bleed a bit when I have appointment but not like that??? Just what did Garth do? Replace Dean’s teeth with werewolf teeth? *lol*

Sam and Bess: Dramatic music continues when Bess hands Sam the “cure” drink. It kind of frames the scenes as dangerous and at least it put me slightly on “confused edge” because the music made me think I couldn’t trust Garth and Bess. Sam’s struggles are kinda... over the top. I mean, we’ve seen Dean eat ghost pepper jerky and suffer, but Sam is suffering kinda ridiculously, like he’s been hit by a curse or something (i.e. still like he’s in the middle of a battle against some monster). Ew. Sam wiping his tongue on the arm he’s been sneezing and snotting into. Uff.

The tap dancing: Nice but I don’t really see the point in it >w< I guess normal people have normal funky dreams. And I guess Dean dreams of joyful things like dancing and having FOR ONCE gentle interactions with a lamp instead of always smashing them.

Talking about God and being heroes in a story: I like Garths’ approach to this topic and that he’s much more aware of story structures than the Winchesters seem to be. Why does Dean need a colonoscopy? (Angsty thought: does he have cancer...? Can werewolves smell it? Is that how it’s gonna end? Normal people problem killing Dean? Nope.)

Scene with the cousin: Poor Sam, he looks so upset when his “gentle request and puppy eyes” approach didn’t work. Though I like that it’s Bess who gets the guy to talk (like it’s Garth who gets the job done later on). I really like that monsters have normal people problems too. And it seems like the Winchesters are still very surprised about that.

Sam and Dean “job”: I think they’re being idiots here. Not only do they lack any evidence that the monsters who watch those fights are harming people, so they just kill them because they’re monsters? Also, it seems very unwise for two people alone to take on how many monsters?? No damn research done at all. And on top of that it seems really unwise to go on a case when they don’t know what else “normal people problems” entails while hunting. At least Sam might have been alarmed due to his sudden clumsiness... Just, stupid move on the Winchesters’ part. 

Side note: Sam doesn’t seem to be comfortable saying anything at all. He still seems to be shocked by the werewolf’s diss.

Dean continues to be kinda dumb and I don’t exactly get why. They don’t know what they’re walking into, so they definitely need to be prepared and I can think of several examples where he was prepared for anything. And now that he can’t be sure of his “luck” he’s not gonna think twice about it? And him munching his grilled cheese, talking with his mouth full and “playing” with the gun wasn’t super endearing to me. Sorry, I know many found it cute *lol* And who vomits that loudly...? I mean... ew.

I liked that Dean tried to bluff his way out of the situation and maybe it would have worked in another situation... 

Dean and Sam in cages: It makes no sense that not being able to pick locks is part of normal people problems because I’m sure they learnt how to pick locks over the years. So this, and their inability to fight later on (another thing they’ve learnt) just makes it clear that Chuck didn’t just remove them from “hero” status, but took away more than just their special skills.

Dean’s entire heartfelt speech doesn’t work either, neither on Sam or Dean, nor on the audience both because of how it’s filmed (no particular clear shot of Dean’s face and Sam constantly looking uncomfortable) and the variation of Dean’s theme.

What’s with Dean’s throat? I don’t understand what he said.

Garth saves the day: Dean’s awed “you are so strong” is cute! Why has he never been in awe of Cas’ strenght? Cas lifted a 1t anvil once and Dean didn’t even look at him amorously for it. 

Man, there are a couple things I don’t understand here! Wish I had subtitles because I’ll probably only get what “we’re gotta get out of here blblblbl monstersquad” or “the monster squad bbbüb the good guys” means.

I think they might still be able to fight but whatever “hero” bonus they had was deleted and now it IS almost impossible to just knock out a monster. They did have more trouble in earlier seasons before they could just easily stick an angelblade into every monster and not even break much of a sweat. But the whole fight sequence is just a little bit too ridiculous for me...

Back at Garth’s home: The whole “this Cas keeps looking at me weird” scene is my highlight. I wonder if now that Dean and Cas are no longer locked into their defined roles (though I’m not sure if Chuck has written them with a specific dynamic, since he never seems to make use of Cas) Dean will notice more about Cas too ;D Though of course Dean does notice the way Cas looks at him (”the last time someone looked at me like that, I got laid” as a classic example). But still, maybe something to think about. Since a story does come with particular characters dynamics between heros and their supporting characters.

Dean saying that he could be an awesome dancer if he wanted to be is nice. The only thing he lacks is a partner to dance with. Though... He doesn’t lack a partner since he has Cas back now. He just needs to make the first move ;3

Baby clearly doesn’t want to go to Alaska. *lol*

Happy Mancrush Monday

Sorry I missed the last two Mondays, but I’m back with the final installment for season 2 of Mancrush Monday, Olicity Edition, featuring episodes 2x14 to 2x23.  For those who don’t know, these posts are gifs of Oliver with captions that focus on fashion (if he’s wearing anything ;)) and the Olicity moments.  All the thanks in the world to @xspeedytrashx for suggesting my silly posts be a series. :)

The banter and fun (and most of the shirtlessness) of the previous season 2 episodes came to an abrupt halt when the TPTB decided to slow their roll on Olicity.  In order to do that, Olicity scenes were limited because the natural chemistry can’t be denied when they are in close proximity to each other. 

A sparring session leads to everyone talking about the scars they have.  We learn that out of all of Oliver’s scars, none were caused by a grenade and  Felicity’s only scar came from having her wisdom teeth removed.  Oliver is wearing pants in this scene, like we care lol.  

Comfortably chic in his coat and jeans, Oliver’s panties got in a twist when he saw Felicity working out in stretchy, thus skintight, yoga pants and cute top.  

Oliver comes across as brusque and borderline judgmental in this scene.  But if you look closely, the arched eyebrow and the fact he literally couldn’t take his eyes off of her give away that the emotion coursing through him wasn’t anger. ;)

In the Arrow suit, hood down, Oliver was going to stay in the bunker to help but Felicity sassed him right into that awkward and awful Lance family dinner.  TBH, it’s what he deserved.  #sorrynotsorry

Uh-oh he’s got angry face.  Only one person who can help with that and he can find her in his phone without even looking.  We’ll have a better look at his navy peacoat in the next gif.  For now, just admire the chiseled jawline. 

Cloaked in his navy blue peacoat and broodiness, Oliver takes a moment to tell wifey that he plans to face a Mirakuru-enhanced Slade all by himself without any backup.  Obviously, Felicity (like the rest of us) realize that is a dumb idea.

Again on the phone with wifey.  Oliver’s outgoing call history:  Felicity, Felicity, Felicity, Felicity, Felicity, Thea, Felicity, Felicity, Felicity, Felicity, Felicity............ This is the look I prefer to see when Oliver works with the police. Cause dayum.

Oliver’s first instinct is always to protect Felicity.  It’s reflexive and as natural as breathing to him.  He’s looking heroically badass in his leather jacket and jeans as he flips them over the railing (very fortuitous that Felicity wasn’t wearing one of her trademark skirts or dresses -- Slade would have gotten an eyeful) :P

Damn, our OTP looks hawt in their all black, breaking and entering, we’re gonna blow up a building, outfits.  Oliver’s gorgeous face is incredulous when Felicity tells him she didn’t think he would go along with her plan.  As if that boy wouldn’t do anything she asked and he can’t believe she doesn’t know that lol.

Oliver’s spidey (arrow-y?) senses were tingling that bae was in trouble.  It makes me laugh that Oliver came right at the guard, no stealth, no sneaking up on him,  and dude still didn’t see that punch coming.  How fast was Oliver moving for that to happen?  In their matching black leather jackets and gloves, Olicity could’ve blown up the building with their fiery intensity and explosive chemistry.

He may look like a regular (albeit very attractive) human in his business suit but it takes a superhero to stab themselves with a large dose of Lidocaine in their busted knee so they can go about their day.  Felicity, who we know has a fear of needles (all pointy things really), watches in horror and then disgust. Same, girl.

Oliver dressed in a somber black suit and tie to attend his mother’s funeral, but instead went to be alone with his dark thoughts in his other secret lair.  Leave it to our broody boy to have a secondary secret lair.  TBH, it’s actually pretty smart since the primary lair isn’t that secret. :/   But there is nowhere on earth where he could go Felicity can’t find him and there is never a time when she won’t try to encourage him to find another way.  

Our stubborn sacrificial lamb remains set on his suicide mission to stop Slade.  Felicity reluctantly lets go of his hand but she isn’t going to let him go too far.

When encouragement doesn’t work, there’s always a tranq dart. 

Felicity and Diggle save Oliver so he can fight another day and another way.  I know this isn’t technically an Olicity scene but Oliver deciding not to go it alone and who he chooses to have by his side in the end is monumental.  This is one of my all-time favorite lines from the show and my mantra to the Arrow writers.

Things go sideways (literally) and Felicity is injured.  Rather than have the strong and able-bodied member of OTA carry her to safety, Oliver and his busted knee hand his bow to Dig and hoists Felicity into his arms.  I love the aesthetics of this but logically it wasn’t the smartest move.  Here we see Oliver’s decision-making process and internal dialogue lol.  

I’m reaallly nostalgic right now for the old Arrow suit and the mask.  The city is burning but these two are on fire as they walk together in battle.

Even at his lowest points, when he doesn’t believe in himself and he isn’t sure of anything, he hangs on for dear life to every word that Felicity Smoak speaks.  Her words break through the walls of self-doubt and fear to the hero within.

Many fans have stated that they believe Oliver realized he was in love with Felicity when they hugged after her epic ‘you are not done fighting’ speech.  Me personally, I think Oliver was aware of his feelings long before then but did his level best to suppress them, ignore them, beat them down with a stick and self-loathing into the darkness.  But this amazing woman’s kindness, generosity, compassion, wit, and trust brought him and his feelings into the light where he was struggling to hold them back.  

This is such an underrated Olicity scene, imho.  Felicity worries that Blood has set a trap for her boys.  She tells Oliver and Dig she is gonna be really pissed if they don’t come back.  The man who was more than willing to die for the past few weeks not only gives her a smile but also a reassuring shoulder squeeze because now he wants to come back and more importantly, believes he will.

There’s something about Oliver being in the suit while returning to the darkened foyer of his childhood home with Felicity.  Maybe it’s that his past, present, and future are all colliding at once.  I remember I got goosebumps the first time I saw it because everything about this scene--the music, lighting, camera angles, close ups- told me something big was going to happen.  I had no idea how big lol.

Exhibit A of one of the close-ups.  He takes a moment to just soak her in.  She has inspired him to want to live.  To embrace his humanity and have a life filled with love.  But the city needs saving and he still holds wellsprings of guilt within his heart.  This is always Oliver’s struggle within himself.  

Eyes shining with emotion, expression earnest, Oliver lets go of his internal struggle over his feelings as those three little words slip through his lips.  

I adore this kiss.  I’m fine that they didn’t use it because honestly after that sincerely whispered ‘I love you’ they really didn’t need it to sell the “ruse.”  With the hood down and mask off but still in the suit, this was Oliver’s dual identity coming together for one brief moment because all of him loves Felicity Smoak. 

Talk about unthinkable...that these two wouldn’t end up together.  Even though Oliver wasn’t quite ready to follow-up on the admission of his feelings to Felicity in the light of day, his heart eyes and adoring expression give him away.  

I said on Discord during the re-watch yesterday that I really didn’t like this scene when it first aired because I wanted them to kiss but over the years, I have come to appreciate the aesthetics. <3

In the last gif, Felicity says ‘let’s go home’ and Oliver nods with that soft smile he only has for her.  I made a header about Olicity and the concept of home when Oliver returned from prison in 7x08. I think it was just as true then as it is now. <3

Hello, sorry for the slow response. I got my wisdom teeth removed the other day and I'm no longer operating in the same dimension as most atm.

Thanks for the heads up tho! I went ahead and just sent them a message asking them to delete it and I'll just have to wait and see from there. I'd rather avoid reporting them immediately because ughhhh it's just a lot of work honestly. XD But I will if I don't get a response.

Anyway, can I just use this as an excuse to thank you guys who bring these sorts of things to my attention. Especially over on Instagram I'm always seeing people tag me in reposts trying to make people give me credit and it's like seriously so helpful and sweet. It really does make my day seeing people looking out for me, like I never expected it honestly.

AHHH OKAY YAY THANK YOU SM ILY - honestly when I started watching the boys, I really thought I would fall for Gray, because he’s WAY more similar to the types of guys I would normally fall for. BUT then something about Ethan just struck me (maybe it was his JAWLINE BECAUSE OOF). But I’d have to say that me falling into his lane began with his wisdom teeth video, and it just got more intense from there, so I don’t know as if I would say he’s above Gray for me (because obviously he’s literally just as amazing) but something about E made me feel more connected to him. AH I RAMBLED - THE TWINS WITHOUT A FAIL ALWAYS CAN TURN MY MOOD AROUND IN ACTUAL SECONDS. I literally tell all my friends that they’re my antidepressants. 😂😂 Even if I don’t have time to like watch a video or anything I can literally just pop onto tumblr and see them and just get so happy, and I love how I come on here and see such cool people that all share the same interest. I also love reading and writing, and in the summer you can usually find me laying in the sun and swimming while I read and write. - I am probably the worst procrastinator I know. I can put my phone away and remove all distractions and will still struggle to get working, as yesterday I literally laid on the floor to avoid work. BUT I always get everything done, even if I’m up till 4am+ I know that currently I’m paying thousands of dollars I don’t have to be this busy and as much as I hate it I need to do well 😂 when I get too stressed I’ll usually watch a few videos on YouTube or I’ll make a schedule of my work so that I can follow something. - it is currently 1:08 where I live (I’m from central/upstate NY) - I WAS SO LATE TO BECOME A FAN OF THE TWINS!!!! I would say I’ve been a fan for around a year now, even though it feels like I’ve been a fan since the beginning. I literally played the “episode” game thing having 0 idea who they were, and then like a month later I had run out of videos in my sub box and one of their videos was in my recommended so I clicked on it not expecting much (I don’t like many of the “new age” youtubers). Then I was like oh lol these are the dudes from that app thingy. But I literally immediately fell in love, and watched every single one of their videos in a span of a few days. She was htg a real trooper and a sweet heart, and stayed with me until the worst of it passed, and I couldn’t sleep, eat, or take any pain medication for the next... idk like twelve hours or so??? while we waited for the stuff to get out of my system H- horror yes or horror no: No but lowkey a little yes.
