140k words deep into two unpublished longfics and the Posting Anxieties(tm) are hitting me again. I keep getting caught up in feeling like the pacing isn't good enough to share, or the characters are too OOC, or so on, and while with my previous fic I decided to post it anyway because the fic was for me first and foremost and if someone else liked it that would be a bonus, this time I think the worries of being disliked (rather than just not liked, which is the difference of hated versus no opinion) might win.
Sucks to have spent 5 months writing things that will never see the light of day, but in the end it's for me. I write because writing is fun and I want to be able to read my story in the future after the daydreams have been forgotten. Maybe if I free myself of the "is this good enough for other people" shackles, some of that anxiety will fade and I'll get back into the groove again. Easier said than done, but we'll see how well I can manage it.

I see a lot of foreign guys talk about how beautiful russian and ukrainian girls are? Tbh, I feel bad because I see women from these countries in my country for jobs and such and I hear about them getting sexually exploited and abused. No offence I know is Ukraine is going through a hard time now but is Russia economically suffering. why are the women going off to foreign lands in hope of security?
[I'll asterisk R**sia and Uk**ine to avoid appearing of this post in any tags and search, because I don't want to]
It's not in hope of security, at least not in the way you meant it, I believe. More like they do that because of this wrong picture in their heads that when you live abroad you live better as soon as it's abroad (talking about R**sian women of course, I can't take responsibility talking about others). Unfortunately, such way of thinking is still living in some heads, there're people who still don't understand that to make a really good living anywhere abroad you have to offer something that's super useful for the society of the country you're moving to, you have to be skilled and educated. Or it should be for education itself, or marriage with a person you already know and love - something reasonable. But fleeing anywhere just because you feel it's gonna be better than you have in your native country will end up in a bad way. I'm afraid, a lot of people you're talking about are of that type.
Not sure, if you were interested if R**sia's suffering economically? No, we don't. At least, "suffering" isn't the word to describe it and not how I personally feel it in my daily life. Of course, there're difficulties, but as the reality shows, nothing that cannot be solved or overcome.
And R**sian and Uk**inian women ARE truly beautiful. Sorry, I'm biased here and don't accept criticism.
I'm afraid I'm not willing to elaborate more on this topic, so I hope my answer is clear enough for you, and you understand my feelings. Thanks.

Hi sorry it looks like I'm asking a lot but could you please tag your meta posts something discoverable in one go? Like 'JJK meta' or 'JJK theory' as one tag instead of in seperate tags. Plus instead of censoring with asterisk, please tag suicide mention or whatever is applicable. Tumblr doesn't like asterisk censorship or censorship that can't be filtered. We don't do that here, no use no need, and I'll give reason.
Example: If I don't want to see snake, I'll filter 'snake' and 'snakes' both on tag filter section and content filter section. If anyone tags or talks about snakes by using 'sn*ke' or 'sn4ke' or snake emoji they won't get filtered and I'll be forced to see them. There have been PSAs around for this but I suppose they haven't crossed your dash yet.
You can also say "bad words" without fear, the bad words on tumblr are stupid like "girl" in the tags but you can say fuck, shit, kill to your heart's content. I believe that is the same on Twitter too as long as it's not @ someone, but Tiktok users made self-censorship a trend. We joke about that on Tumblr lol.
Sorry again, lots of demands.
hi anon!
i see, i was writing this the same way i do on twt and i don't wander around here that much to notice about unspoken rules... sorry about that!
i'll add the tags on my posts for trigger warnings, but i usually tag my theory posts as just "personal" for now since i don't exactly know what to tag or if it should appear in those other tags lol. and for "bad words"... it's just how i usually type :D i do that on other platforms too.
thanks for the heads up!

A message to new members of the ST fandom on Tumblr:
I just wanted to put out a reminder to the Stranger Things fandom to censor ships if you are against them! Whenever I scroll through a ship tag, I always find lots of posts against that ship. It only takes a second to put a little asterisk (eg m*leven, j*ncy, byl*r) or to tag your post anti "shipname" so please do this out of respect to these fans.
Even if you don't tag a ship, if you don't censor it the post will appear in that tag. I understand that if you censor a character or ship name on other social media platforms when you censor a ship it's usually a joke because you find that ship really awful so you're covering it like a bad word. Tumblr is not TikTok. You don't have to hate a ship to censor it and you're not disrespectful if you do. Quite the opposite actually!
As well as this, try not to negatively interact with people's ship posts as well! I understand this is more normalised on other social media but here the tags serve as a safe space for people to geek out without the fear of being called stupid or cringy or delusional. I don't appreciate negative asks (which is why I don't respond to them unless I have something constructive to say) and I get you are defending your ship, but do that outside of my account and my tag.
Also don't clog up tags! If you have a post that has nothing to do with a ship, don't tag that ship. I hate looking at the top of a tag only to find it clogged with irrelevant posts. I don't want to see your Jancy fanart on the Ronance tag. I understand you want to get popularity on your post, but firstly clout is pretty meaningless on Tumblr and also it's just annoying.
Sorry if this came off as harsh but since the release of S4, fandom etiquette on here has gone downhill so I wanted to educate some new fans on here about this. Please listen, folks!

about this if you use the name in the post (sometimes) IT DOES show up in the search, so let's say you're anti lewis right? if you make a post that has his written name ON the post it doesnt matter if you put an anti tag in the end it will show up, also sometimes people have real criticism about some drivers/teams/people yknow? is not only about if they hate them or not, still you don't want that shit showing up in the drivers tag cuz some fans may see it and take it personally
As far as i'm aware, there's no way a post that doesn't contain mentions of said word in the tags, will show up. The official tumblr statement says:
"Tag pages will show you only posts that have been tagged with the specific term or phrase you're using. If you're on web, you'll also see top blogs in that tag, as well as related tags to check out."
Is the tag system broken? Absolutely. For example, let's say you want to criticise Ayrton Senna while praising Alain Prost (to avoid using current drivers), then you would use "#anti senna #alain prost" right? HOWEVER, if someone searches for "anti prost", they will find your post because you used the words anti and prost. So that's when the ayrton fans come to your throat and confusion happens.
(Again this is to my knowledge) post that aren't tagged won't show up in the searches, but they can appear in google search if someone knows the specific phrases you used and if they know how to search by site. Which, uhh, ain't nobody got time for that methinks.
In an ideal world, the anti tag should work wonders, but between what i said and the fact that fans purposely search for their favorites' anti tags to create drama, everything goes to shit. So yeah, I'm obviously pro-censoring driver's names in the tags (like i explicitly stated in my og post), but I'm still against using asterisks written inside the posts. It means that people who want to filter out a drivers name to not read anything about them, will have to read something about them regardless.
Let's put Nikita Mazepin as an example. Many people had a hard time reading anything regarding him, and it's 100% understandable. So they most likely filtered out his name, so tumblr's filter could catch both the written text and the tags. If they have him filtered they won't even see this particular post, because i put his name fully. But if someone writes his name with asterisks, then that filter won't work.
As regards to your point of people having real criticism, I'm honestly all for it. I think too much is used as "anti" when it shouldn't. It can lead to bubble spaces with 0 awareness and twisted realities [which some people like and i'm not here to judge how each person consumes watching sports because at the end of the day we're all just trying to have a good time] but that's a debate for another time my friend
Also shocker... tumblr changed once again their search system so I don't know how much it will impact what I tried to say lmao
Oof this was long and I'm sorry you had to read all of that haha, anyways I hope you're having a nice day<3
