There’s another lull of silence that looms over them this time. Gale doesn’t know what to say. He keeps his eyes somewhere else, down at his feet, the dimly lit street through the tiny gap between the curtains, the taunting smoke curling around his head.

“I’m sorry.”

John starts to speak again, but a crash of thunder and patters of rain on the roof interrupt him. A flash of lightning colors the room and is followed by another clap of thunder. Neither of them flinch as the rain picks up and the house shakes. The fan cuts out and then the only light in the room is the soft red at the end of the joint.

Hmm... well, his favorite flowers are marigolds... so I would say that. Although, baby's breath is quite a beautiful flower as well...

Kehehe... the ocean entices me, but not as much as human culture... however, if I had to choose a favorite sea creature, I believe I would choose a blue ribbon eel... they're quite beautiful, no?
