Lads I am once again unwell ☹️
#sore throat started yesterday… afternoon i want to say. and quickly became unbearable#i mean i could barely sleep last night. still hurts to swallow#liquids soothe it a little but not much. i’ve got some lemon and ginger tea steeping which i HOPE will help#no idea where i got this cold from. my niece is prime suspect but my stepdad is also a distant possibility as is my niece’s grandma#benji is here with me and i don’t want to stress him out with unnecessary deliveries so i can’t use my customary cure of ordering a vindaloo#and letting it burn the mucus out#meaning i could be stuck with this sore throat for a WHILE#my head hurts and i have joint pains and i’m sleep deprived so i think i’ll just take it easy today#it’s not like i have anything i urgently need to work on anyway#might just do the bare minimum of work and then read michael palin#i’m on a nonfiction kick the likes of which i’ve never experienced before and might never experience again#jon krakauer kicked it off and now i’m reading everything about the himalaya that i can get my hands on#personal
