I love my dog Sophie so much that one time I was drinking a lot and posted like a two paragraph essay on the animal shelter’s site about how much I love my dog and how I was in a real bad place before I got her and how everyone should consider adopting from a shelter because yes, it can be harder than buying a puppy from a breeder but good breeders will find all their puppies good homes as opposed to shelter dogs who need people to save their lives, and all these moms liked my post and this grandma commented “you rescued her, but it sounds like she rescued you too!” and that’s valid
