he had thought about it for quite some time, now. the mere fact that it enters his mind makes him want to throw a tantrum. he had worked, in amounts unbelievable, for years to ignore everything his emotions tries to tell him.

but everything crumbles. the years of having to battle himself becomes futile in a second. hoshi knew how to present himself to keep things at bay, but soonyoung could not control what he felt inside.

"hyung, are you okay?"

"huh?"

minghao raises an eyebrow, but decides not to press on the matter. he shakes his head, raising the two bottles of soda.

"which one do you want?"

he bites his tongue from spilling everything he's worked so hard on concealing. soonyoung smiles sweetly, grabbing the coke zero from minghao's hand. the brief touch of their fingers was enough to send him ablaze.

"Y/N, you have to stop Hoshi hyung." Minghao groaned, tugging his lovers hand as he dragged Y/N to their boyfriend. "He won't stop."

"Let him be, Hao." Y/N said. "If he wants to be a tiger, Woozi hyung will stop him."

"True." Minghao mused. "His guitar is dangerous."

"Now, let's go. I feel like eating grilled pork for lunch. If Youngie hyung doesn't want lunch, he can stay a tiger forever."

"Hey!" Hoshi yelled. "I can be a tiger and eat lunch you know?"

Y/N simply flipped him off, And he and Minghao left Hoshi to chase after them.

"You look tired." Minghao murmured, running his hair through Y/N's brown locks. "You should go sleep."

"I can't." Y/N mumbled. "This is due tomorrow."

"You should sleep. You don't work good on a sleep deprived mind." Hoshi spoke up, watching Y/N and Minghao. "Can't you ask for a deadline extension?"

"My boss is strict." Y/N said. "I've asked for a previous one, he didn't accept."

An hour later, Hoshi and Minghao, awaking to an empty bed, found Y/N asleep over his desk, face stuck to his laptop.

"Cute." Minghao whispered, picking Y/N up with practiced ease and carrying him to the bed. "Sleep well, Y/N/N."

Y/N, Minghao and Hoshi sat on the floor, playing uno.

"Please..." Hoshi begged. Y/N, who'd lost, watched in enthusiastic silence as Minghao took a draw 4 card.

"I'm sorry..."

"After all we've been through?" Hoshi cried dramatically.

"Uno." Minghao said, and Y/N cheered.

"Go baby!"

"What about me??" Hoshi whined.

"You're such a big baby." Y/N whined. "Here, I love you too."

I just finished the At The End Of The Road webcomic, by Haribo. It's, uh... well. That finale was anticlimatic, but it's understandable seeing as it was the creator's first project; everyone's first everything is always dumb.

I found out about it because the AO3 JeongShua fic writer @/authormin wrote a fic based on this comic's plot a few years ago, and since the fanfic has been on hiatus, I looked up the comic to know what happened in the story. The premise is creative, buuut the narrative could've been handled a lot better, I believe.

If I were to work on a rewrite, those assholes involved with the gang rape would've suffered everything there is to suffer. I also think the younger brother's character felt flat, and more annoying than anything. In fact, I'd have to rework the entire cast...

This webcomic's greatest asset is its premise, because the execution was kinda meh. I don't really recommend the reading, but I'd enjoy writing my own JeongShua rendition 🤔

Thank you I definitely will I have social anxiety so I might come of a bit weird but there's a few clips I think might help show why I ship soonhao like during hot era when hoshi was talking and minghao has the softest eyes I also ship wooyoung/mingi from ateez they have had so many cute loving moments together I think those small moments is one reason I ship soonhao plus hoshi I feel could bring minghao out of his shell more and minghao can calm hoshi down when he gets a bit too excited
