Honestly that's the thing that bothers me about these major female character deaths, it's more about #ManPain and takes away from the character and the actual loss of them, and focuses instead on the loss of what they were to someone. It materializes them. So like, I understand someone had to be the sacrifice, the feminist in me tho rolls my eyes right outta my head because it's such an overplayed trope right along with love triangles. Let their sacrifice be their own ya know???

So yeah, Thunderblink is probs endgame, and as I've said before I love ALL of my mutant children, but I challenge the writers to think outside the box in the future when it comes to these major character deaths. I also want to challenge them to think outside the box (or triangle) when it comes to pitting strong female characters against one another over a man. At least Sonya died standing up for something she believed in. And Blink and John are both going to be tore up over it. Ugh. 💔

Ok but when are we supposed to see Lorna's powers change and stuff??? Maybe after she finds out about Dreamer? Idk I thought it was this episode and now I'm disappointed I have to wait until after the break to see it 😭

I thought they hinted that too!! But it must be next episode. At least we will start our New Years off right because the air date is January 1st awwww yeah. 👌🏼😎

But, goddammit. I wish they hadn’t killed her. I loved Sonya, I wanted her and Blink and Lorna to be besties. John and Lorna are going to go postal when they find out, and honestly Blink just might too. FUCK DR. CAMPBELL. UGH. *cries*

Being someones Bitch - 18

So there was little me - sat all prim and proper and straight backed in this beautiful old Town House that looked like one of those Bed and Breakfast Hotels you find in some big city and posh district.

I watched 'Bitch 1' and her cute little bum walk off to go find her MISTRESS - and after a quick touch up of lip gloss I looked around the room I was in for first proper time. It was a plush place - the seats were dark rose red leather - there were tasteful BDSM shots on the walls - some a little risky but nothing overtly revealing! The curtains were velvet and long very long!! and the decor was [to my mind] made out to be inviting and sumptuous!! Like a glossy wet pair of lips is inviting and sumptuous.

Just as I was starting to feel like I was being left to wait and so build up my nervousness - THIS amazing creature came in from the opposite door to the one Bitch 1 had left in.

She was Talll -unbelievably so- and wearing nothing but black heels and a choker collar with a lead attachment  on it. She was smiling invitingly like she had just spotted a friend she hadn't seen in years or something - and heading directly for me. She had the darkest eye makeup on I've ever seen even till this day - and her lips were sooo suggestive that you know all she had to do was smile at someone and she could bed them instantly!

This vision sauntered up to me - and made a point of looking me up and down from shoes to hair!! eventually after standing over me for a few 10's of seconds and making me feel like I should of stood up and kissed both her cheeks or something -- she said " Sonya is it?" me = "Ummm Yessss! I couldn't take my eyes of her lips - I just wanted to kiss and bite them they were sooo plump and red and like shouting "KISS MEE"!!!! She smiled at me like she new exactly what I was thinking/imagining/wanting....... She said "Well Sonyaaaaa" - [over-exaggerated Sonyaa][she was teasing me :) ]  "my name is Bitch 2 and I will be with you for a while - while we go see The MISTRESS - just too help you loose those nerves ok hunny?" Me - "Ohh Ok yeah - that's good - I'm soo nervous my legs are shacking" Bitch 2 -  "Awww Hunny there is no need to be nervous - MISTRESS is very very very good - and if you please her you will spend many years here and be the happiest you've ever been in your life - I can guarantee that Sonya" "MISTRESS is a perfectionist - and she doesn't just take all comers - she picks her clientele very carefully". Bitch 2 - "Come on hunny - follow me - do you want to hold hands?" she smiles at me with an innocent look like she was saying "its the most natural innocent thing in the world".

There she was - this unbelievably sexy creature - wearing nothing but gorgeous heels and a dog collar :) and she was asking me to hold her hand and follow her in to meet a DOM I had been dreaming about for days!! Me - "Yess Please - would you? - I'm just soo excited and nervous yano?" Bitch 2 - "Off course you're - but hunny you don't have to worry or be nervous - I know MISTRESS is going to love you - and between us girls - if I know MISTRESS like I think I do - you're perfect - everything she likes in her slaves - I just hope you're up to the punishment" and she smiled then like she'd just seen something so SHOCKING it had surprised her! me - giggles "really? oh I hope soo hehe - and yes I'm up to it" in my mind I'm thinking 'I'm soooo up for it hurry up lets goooo'.

So clutching the heavenly hand of Bitch 2 - I stood up swept back my locks with a head swish and looked at Bitch 2 to lead the way. We headed for the door she had come out of - and there was no sign of Bitch 1 anywhere. So we walked and her hand felt warmm - like really warm and she was clasping tight too - like sending me signals through the touch - even then telling me to relax etc!

We walked down a small corridor with Bitch 2 leading all the way with her arm slightly stretched out behind her as she lead nervous me to meet MISTRESS. We came to a tall door and Bitch 2 opened it and let go off my hand and waved me through - her eyes dropping to look at my legs and follow my bum as I walked through and saw steps leading downstairs! I smiled and made a point of her seeing my smile as I passed her and started down the steps - she caught herself looking at my bum and saw me smiling at her - she did a dainty shrugg with her shoulders and pursed her lips and pointed down the stairs.

I went down what was 2 flights of stairs with Bitch 2's heels and mine click clacking all the way down! I was giggling to myself in my head and must of had a huge grin on my face - the sound of those 2 pairs of heels click clacking down the stairs was tickling my "kinky side" and I had to stop myself from twiddling my hair and biting my lip!

At the bottom of the stairs I stopped as Bitch 2 put her hand on my should and turned me to the right! Bitch 2 "This way Sonya hunny - the 1st door on the left" I walked towards the door in question - with Bitch 2's hand still on my shoulder".. As we got to the door - I felt a finger on my neck! and a nail digging just slightly a little too much to not be deliberate!! As I turned my head to look back at Bitch 2 she said, "Just be yourself Sonya ok? and remember that prick on your neck when she asks you what you want outa the relationship". Then Bitch 2 Smiled and with a waft of lovely perfume and a naked bum walking away - she headed back up the stairs with a click-clack click-clack -click clack.

My MISTRESS was behind the door I was in front off! I was slightly bleeding on my neck - my legs especially,  my poor little knees were shacking - I couldn't stop shuffling my ankles around and around on my heels! I was smiling uncontrollably but jeez was I nervous - I'd never been in such a place soo structured and plush before - it was like I'd won the KINKY LOTTERY or something!! I couldn't believe I was here - I'd never felt more like myself - like I was "me" in soo long it was scary to contemplate! Bitch 2 and Bitch 1 were in my mind - if they were happy enough in this place to let themselves go like they were - and be happy to be MISTRESS'S slaves and busy kitties - then the opportunities for me were -well - they were as much as I could imagine - and my imagination is beyond 99.9% of peoples - I'm such a kinky freak inside - I could make the devil blush!

My hand went to the door - and I knocked once then twice faster.... I waited....................

I just want to sit in the corner and cry over that death...but at least she can still be alive in our 😂 fics 😂 LOL

But I think they didn't really go for the man pain issue with Sonya's death, it was more of a secondary ripple effect to the issue of killing her. Her death kinda serves as a catalyst for three different things. Or maybe four.

One, to actually give them a BIG BAD, because Andy and Lauren using their powers kinda gave Campbell the light bulb in his despicable head how to permanently terminate mutants.

Two, yes. ThunderBlink, but that's potential and like one of the smallest ripple effects of the death.

Three, Lorna's powers mutating. Lorna's powers are SO attuned to her feelings--and with Sonya being such a close friend for her, it's definitely gonna cause a big change, power wise and direction wise in her ideals of not hurting or shedding blood. And that leads to the fourth point. We already see her being adamant on it in this episode, wanting shedding blood when the situation calls for it, and Sonya's death is just gonna be a proof for her that she needs to act before more gets taken away from her. And in the process that direction and ideal is gonna tear her apart from both Marcos and John---John in terms of (he's a big warm jelly donut and a cuddly bear) well, being who he is as a protector and not a killer, and Marcos, who knows and doesn't oppose to killing when needed but doesn't want to do so just like he did back in the cartel.

So.

More conflict. More Eclaris angst ahead.
