Its done! Heres a showcase of my fnaf fansong minidisc in celebration of the movie finally coming out soon!
Complete with full track titles including band names!
took a while to title all the tracks and plenty of hand cramps but its finally done!
Making this and listening to all the old songs from when i was a kid really took me back lol
All the labels are hand cut, written, and drawn by hand using water based brush pens (and a wet paintbrush in the case of the actual art)
Very proud of how this turned out!

#there are exceptions probably. And i do like rock music im not like deep into it or anything but my dad likes rock music soni grew up#listening to it And enjoy it#maybe im just projecting my prejudices against rock fans into the covers. or something . but itll be like. a disco song and its a rock cover#and im sort of just like. IDK. im probably being silly abt it and it isnt avtually anything just From my interactions with rock fans a lot#of the ones ive spoken to NOT ALL r like..sooo goddamn pretentious and rly put down like Any other genre of music esp like. pop and also#like literally any genre with black roots For some reason . Who knows why that is ... so tomme when they do like a rock cover of a song it#feels more like a Lol fixed your song now Cool ppl can listen to it rather than like a. ooh i enjoyed your song and i wanted to try and do#it but in my style of music. If that makes sense. which is literally just me making up an issue and im Literally putting words in their#mouth I am realizing . IDKK just rambling i suppose. Apologies#like idk i think the novelty of like um. Ooh heres this super cutesy song in a more 'aggressive' sounding form is like. cool but it just umm#idk. ik everyone and their mother says this but i rly do like a wide variety of genres and i go to different genres for different things you#know. and i feel like . IDK i rly am just saying anything. is this an evil thing to say#okay sorry. do not take any of this seriously i am going to bed idt im 1. wording snything write 2#idk if i have a salient (is that the word?) thought to express anyways . another miss for connor in the thinking department he has gotttt#to stop trying! gn everyone love you#also this was a thought that came to my mind bc of a podt i saw but its not like me being mad abt seeing that post or eing mad at the#person who put it on my dash LOL it was a fine video i loooove mirrors like that real ones remember#Just made me think abt it. and i think also i still have some lingering rage from that stupid fucking lay all your love on me cover ider if#that was a genre change or not i get so mad abt it that its fully blacked out of my head#but i think its influencing me in dark ways. and also im just imagining someone doing like an all i need is your sweet loving rock cover and#its making me so.mad#and please listen to All i need is your sweet loving off of gloria gaynors 1975 album '#'never can say goodbye' do this for me i love youuu :] its a rly good album

I have a lore question if you habe the time: do we know why yyxy is in Cher from Clueless cosplay?
I've spoken about this before, I can't find where I've spoke about this before, but I think it's to do with setting yyxy's time in Eden as a story that takes place in the 90s. A lot of the lore is set in the late 90s, indicated primiarly in Vivi's and yyxy's arc with fashion and technology, such as the cassette tapes, walkmans, computers, VHSs and whatnot. As mentioned in the 1/3 section of this post, I think there might be some geopolitical signifiers too, that suggest a lot of the story is set in this time period. Talking about Walkmans at all reminds me of this theory, from ChoerryColour, whose theories are focused on metanarratives and the music industry and really worth checking out.
By using one of the most iconic outfits from the 90s, right in 1995, it helps indicate when this part of the story is taking place, and what that means. If yyxy's arc occurs at the same time as Vivi's pre-robotification life (as suggested by EDILY's retro vibes) then you can more easily make connections between the two, like why Yves shows up on Earth in The Carol 2.0, why Vives go on a date in 'new', why a lot of strange things happen like they do. What message are they trying to deliver by setting it specifically in the 90s, over setting it in present day, or a nonspecific time all together?
#wow guys remember when i used to post about loona lore#loona lore#loonaverse#wrt walkmans jaden actually used to work at sony for a long time#choerrycolour actually inspired my first big theory post a lot so finally time i gave him credit#something something burn yourself burn cds burn whatever all that sort of stuff a lot a lot of it is about 90s music industry#and -> circles back to the post about JJ's commentary on how things were then and how things were now#its easy to forget hes a middle aged man whose worked in the music industry for decades and the thoughts he has about that bleeds in#everywhere#strangely though the only contradiction to this is that chuu the sasaeng/stan/fan uses her smartphone to stalk yves. go figure

Okay... as usual I apologise for my neon text it has to be this way or else
So from what I understood here, royalties and control over what gets licensed (as well as the majority of publishings and Michael's own Master recordings) will still be handled by the Estate. But it is still very bad that $ONY of all things now gets a stake not only in his Master recordings but the masters of countless other artists especially Black artists (notice the band and artist names mentioned under the Mijac screenshot) whose masters Michael specifically sought out to protect them from predatory deals or with intention of selling them back to the original artists for cheap if they wanted them. I remember the 2016 deal well and I didn't realize at the time how devious that was but now I know for a fact that Michael fought to keep that 50% of $ony/ATV for a loooong time. J**n B****a suggested as far back as 1995 that Michael sell it. Up until 2009 even Michael wrote a letter saying that he wouldn't sell it, EVER, because it was HIS and his alone. And that's not even touching the pure beef that Michael and $ony had which I've covered over and over even tho I could go in depth, but others have done it better than I could. Michael publicly called out their racism and manipulation tactics in acquiring the publishings and masters of artists of color. So even in the event that the Estate retains all royalties and (most of) the Masters, this deal alone is yet another slap in the face of what Michael stood for and if he was still here he wouldn't have budged nearly as far as to let this happen.
#long story short: this is not as heinously evil as the 2016 50% Sony/ATV acquirement but this is still evil in my eyes#michaelposting#AND as far as I'm concerned from a financial standpoint it's another undershoot just like the 2016 acquirement was#even if these are the 'biggest music deals ever'#these ppl are clearly too shortsighted and greedy to see just how big and valuable Michael as an image and his creations are and could be.#michael jackson#<- throwing this in the tag to see if any other fans wanna pitch in their opinion in the replies

Yasuyuki Okamura “YELLOW” TOUR FINAL 87.4.22
Finally, the day has come. The last date of the memorable 1st “YELLOW” Tour at the Shibuya Hall. The audience has been waiting with bated breath for three months since the ticket sales date, whilst listening to the first album “Yellow,” which was released just a month ago and it’s unstoppable under the sun, to the point of wearing out. I’m sure there must have been some of you who couldn’t sleep the day before the concert because you were so excited. After all, it was Okamura’s concert. You have to dance!
Into the whirlpool of love and sensuality ・・・
The first song of the day was “Check Out Love.” He was dressed in the same yellow suit I saw at Inkstick¹ and had long since started dancing. He throws his black sunglasses into the audience² and smiles at them, his eyes were truly sexy. I couldn’t wait to be stared at by eyes like his. The way he performs on stage with dignity, you can sense his confidence and composure. His Dates³ in the last six regions, from Sapporo to Fukuoka, must also have been as special.
The song ended with a bang and the show continued straight into “Rain.” This was the first time I had heard the song live, but the sound was already ingrained into my mind from listening to the record over and over again. Next was “Even If It’s Cold” (Tsumetaku Saretemo). This was a familiar number that they have been playing since the debut of the tour. He was singing really happily.
“Wow, everyone here is amazing. Why are there so many good-looking girls and guys here? I’m kind of embarrassed.”
He was awfully embarrassed
After swaying pleasantly to “Water Bed,” a song that epitomises his eccentric personality, he sang “First Time” (Hajimete), a song he wrote entirely himself. It seemed like that song was very popular with the audience The song conveys an irrepressible sadness that is so painful to hear. He then performed “Half Moon,” a song that he wrote for Misato Watanabe. It’s a nice, quiet song.
After changing costumes, the next song performed was “Maria.” This track, with its march-like tempo, is featured on the B-side of the single “Young Oh! Oh!” released on May 21st. During the drum solo in the bridge, the band members and even the roadies at the edge of the stage seemed to be really enjoying themselves.
“Don’t you think the happiest moments are when you’re on a date? Feeling all excited and your heart racing?”
After the MC he performed his debut single, “Out of Blue.” Along the sound of the guitar, fireworks exploded, releasing silver confetti. He poured his heart into this cherished song.
With the excitement reaching its peak, they moved onto the final song. “Young Oh! Oh!” The audience was a whirlwind of dancing. If there was anybody who could stay still during this, I’d like to meet them.
Encore!
“Thank you so much!” With that, they began playing a familiar song, it was more of Misato’s tracks that Okamura had written. They performed a medley of “A 19 Year Old’s Secret Desires” (19-Sai no hisokana yokubō) and “All For You” (Subete kimi no tame). The slightly altered arrangement had a distinct Okamura flair. Then came “She’s a Science Teacher,” another song that makes it impossible not to dance. It was so fun that any sense of fatigue disappeared.
Here, the second ballad, “White Courage” was performed. Then for the final number, they played an unreleased song⁴ named “DATE.” Even though it’s not on any record, everyone knew it somehow. Their dancing was practically professional level. “Well Done!”
…and so, the date for that day ended. “But you know, you can go on dates not just once, but many times!”
That’s right! The more dates you go on, the better you get to know the other person, and the more you grow to like them. That’s why it’s so enjoyable!
Do you know what the most important thing is? – You’ll find out if you come.
Translators Notes I:
¹I had to research for this since I was confused by “Inkstick” expressed in katakana, but it looks like it’s in reference to the “Inkstick Suzue Factory” which was most likely another venue on the 1st “YELLOW” tour
²Pretty sure this specific performance is on video! https://youtu.be/9QupSuZ0_5I?si=vYTFncsB9_f5gphK he looks so cool here…
³Okamura’s live shows are called “Dates,” as he compares the feelings of going to a concert to going on a date
⁴DATE is the title track of his second album released in 1988 (the following year).. so it’s pretty cool to find out that he made this song a while before then. I’d love to see an early version of DATE since it’s on my favourite album

Strike's over—what now?
[ID: SAG-AFTRA picket sign with the logo of a person with a raised fist and the text, "SAG-AFTRA ON STRIKE!" The picture was taken near the Sony building and "Sony Pictures" and "Sony Music Publishing" can be seen on a sign to the right. end ID]
On November 8, SAG-AFTRA reached a tentative deal with the AMPTP to end the strike. What can we as fans & audiences do to continue supporting the unions?
DONATE TO STRIKE FUNDS!
The devastating effects of both strikes on every entertainment worker AND those not in entertainment, but affected by the work stoppages, are going to continue to be felt for months, even years, down the line. PLEASE don't let up your financial support just because the strikes are over! Please keep boosting posts about how to support the unions! Tip: schedule the posts for a week or a month down the line so they keep circulating.
Entertainment Community Fund
Green Envelope Grocery Aid
VOCALLY SUPPORT THE UNIONS MOVING FORWARD!
WGA and SAG-AFTRA have won, but you know who still needs a deal? The Animation Guild will have negotiations next year. IATSE, aka International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, which represents technicians and craftspeople, is going to enter into negotiations next year. Teamsters (unionized drivers, including the ones essential to Hollywood sets!) are going into negotiations next year. It is essential that we show up for other unions like we showed up for WGA/SAG-AFTRA. And if you haven't yet... have YOU considered joining a union?
CORRECT MISINFORMATION AND BIASED NARRATIVES!
Lots of people—both in the immediate future and a few years down the line—are going to think they've drawn correct conclusions from the strike that are absolutely false. False ideas like WGA/SAG-AFTRA were the ones that dragged out the strikes, that it was unnecessary to put such a strain on the economy, and so on.
Prove them wrong—and cite your sources! WGA/SAG-AFTRA's Twitter updates and website articles updated during the strikes are a good resource, as are eyewitness accounts from those of us who were active participants in fandoms supporting the unions. Don't let the narrative get turned around. Unions are essential, strikes work, and it was the solidarity between varied workers and their audiences that forced the AMPTP back to the table.

What does it mean when people say that Louis is ‘black listed’? Sorry I don’t know much about the music industry…
Hi darling. Being blacklisted isn’t a term specific to the music industry.
It’s just pretty suspicious that even with all the contacts Louis has made over the years, with how many people seem to be on his side, personally, and even with how strong his built-in fan base is, his music still never makes it on to the radio.
We’ve seen evidence of his music being pulled off the radio as soon as it started to climb the charts (Back to You). And evidence that his singles aren’t even sent to radio stations to play (pretty sure that one was Miss You). And even the fact that a show like Late, Late which was run by people he was close to, didn’t have him on to promote Walls was super suspicious.
All of that happened when he was still tied to Syco/Sony and it seemed pretty obvious there was a personal vendetta of sorts coming from Simon (and possibly Sony) most likely because Louis was the fly in the ointment when it came to being able to manipulate both 1D and Harry, specifically.
A label can put pressure on outlets about running articles/playing music/featuring certain artists by using the threat of not allowing those outlets access to other artists if the don’t do as the label wishes. It’s underhanded and I don’t know that it’s even a threat that’s spoken out loud so much as implied, but it happens.
But blacklisting isn’t the only reason Louis isn’t on the radio, on the cover of Rolling Stone etc. Labels have a fixed amount of money they want to spend on promotion across all of their artists. They make a determination about who they think is going to have the biggest return. There has to be more than just a personal vendetta against him that had Sony putting him lower down on their list than fans think he deserved. TV shows, magazines etc. have the same thought process—what’s going to give us the biggest return?
And now that Louis isn’t signed to a label, and Syco is gone and Simon is barely even in the music industry, how much does what they wanted even affect Louis’ career? That’s hard to say. But while promoting FITF, Louis did allude to still not being played on the radio. And since getting placed on streaming playlists costs money and since he no longer has a label’s money to do that with, does that holds him back? How much of it is affected by all the years of sabotage Simon/Sony wreaked on his confidence, reputation, and career?
I do think there’s a level of blacklisting, but I think there’s more to it. There are plenty of artists who are never played on the radio who still grow their audiences and win awards and continue to put out music and tour successfully. Too many fans use the idea of him being blacklisted as the sole reason he’s not a household name instead of considering the idea that there are likely quite a few reasons (some of which have to do with the way he’s marketed and the genre he’s in).
Anyway… that’s a really long answer to your simple question and it’s still a pretty open ended answer. Sorry about that.

(“Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)” comes on)
Most people: Oh, yeah! This is a banger.
Me (smashing through a wall): Imma tell you a tale about fatphobia & misogynoir in the music industry!
The gospel singer Martha Wash sang the main vocals for “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now).” However, she didn’t appear in the music video; instead Zelma Davis, the thinner singer who sang on other tracks on that album, lip-synched to Mrs. Wash’s vocals. Not only did Mrs. Wash not get featured in the video, her vocals were uncredited, and she received no royalties until she sued Sony & the titular C+C of C+C Music Factory: David Cole and Robert Clivillés. The case dragged on for ~3 years.
It’s messed up that Martha Wash didn’t get her due; she deserves more recognition. It’s also messed up that C+C hung Zelma Davis out to dry, leaving her to face bad press and fan outrage on her own. Like, Sony and C+C screwed two Black women. All four musicians made up afterwards (at least enough to work together again.) I’m still gonna be salty about the misogynoir, though.

his headphones *+:。.。
౨ৎ keigos headphones were something that youve been focused on lately…
౨ৎ his new ones spark a warm feeling in your heart. but why? they’re just headphones..
it had been some time since you and keigo started dating, perhaps a month or two, when you had suddenly began a strange fixation on keigo’s headphones.
whenever he came and crashed at your place for the night, you’d see him stumble through your balcony door with a pair of headphones that you’d never really see him with during the daytime; black sony headphones…
you had first started to notice this because—and you’d never admit it to him but—you thought that the headphones originally paired with keigo’s hero outfit were HIDEOUS! i mean, seriously! yellow for the colour?? he looked liked a goofball with bananas for ears whenever he zoomed around the city patrolling. you never understood how he didn’t care that he was being captured in public with those putrid yellow looking mounds on his ears.
other than your hatred for how they looked, you had also been wondering how they worked. well, obviously you knew that he needed them to fly so that his ears wouldn’t explode going 370 km per hour in the air, but you always had one main question that always came to mind; could he listen to music with them? it would be more than disappointing to you if you found out that he couldn’t. ‘what would even be the point then?’ you’d ask yourself. personally, you couldn’t live a day without music, like, your ears NEEDED that constant ring of melodies and tunes throughout your day, a necessity really.
so, one night, when keigo tapped at your balcony door and stepped inside with those same black sonys he’d been wearing for the past several weeks, you had asked him from the couch,
“so.. what’s with those headphones that you’ve been coming in with lately?”
you tried to make the question sound as normal as possible, but there was no way to mask how specific it was. keigo was in the kitchen in the middle of making some buldak ramen for dinner, you weren’t even sure if he had heard you with those headphones still attached to his head as he stirred the boiling pot, but he turned his head toward you and gave you a bit of a confused-but-also-blank expression, registering the bizarre question.
an intrigued smile crept its way onto his face as his inital blank expression turned into one of a lazy smile but also curious as his eyes glanced back at the pot as he continued stirring the noodles.
“why do you ask? they’re jus’ headphones.” he asked slyly, playing along with your little investigation, flustering you a bit as you huffed softly, looking away from him and reaching for the remote and turning on the tv in search of a random show that would serve as background noise.
“it’s just that i dont really see you with those ones. do your other ones not work for listening to music?”
he swiftly popped the seasoning packets open as the noodles absorbed the flavor. “yeah, basically. i figured that these would function better for me since its just more popular. i also got these because of my fans, y’know! have ‘ta keep up with the trends these days.” he flashed you a playful smile while he divided the ramen into two bowls for the both of you , like the multitasker he is.
the two of you remained in a comfortable silence eating the spicy ramen- well, keigo was more devouring it, but who could blame him? he’s had a long day at work and all he would want right now was have his stomach full and take a fat nap with you in his embrace. you chuckled softly to yourself as you watched him slurp his ramen furiously, to which he squinted his eyes at you in a ‘dont judge me,’ type of look. too bad it only made you laugh a bit louder.
as you picked at your food, you couldnt help but look back at the silly question you asked him. like, seriously- your cheeks even warmed up thinking about it, what was wrong with you? you thought it was so cute though. you thought keigo was cute, with his cute little headphones that actually matched with his cute little style, thank GOD he wasn’t walking around your apartment with those horrid headphones, so yellow and ugly.
you were brought out of your little hate bubble from a nudge to your arm. you turned to your right to see keigo with a giddy little mischievous smile. oh no.
“also, did i ever mention how well these headphones worked?”
it was like he KNEW you were thinking about his damn headphones.
“uhh…. i guess not??” your eyes looked up at his grinning face, your brows knitted upwards in confusion. ‘ohmygoodnesswhywonthejustdropitomgomg-‘
he slipped his black sonys off from his neck where they had been resting since they started eating, and put them over your head to cover your ears. he then snatched his phone from his pocket, typing and tapping away when your ears were suddenly filled with the best, most crunchiest, crispiest, heart-filling quality music that you’ve heard. ‘damn. those headphones do sound good.” you thought as the catchy jams of mac demarco poured into your ears. you gave keigo a silly cheery smile, cheeks warmer as ever with your eyes smiling and all as he returned the same sappy grin, his lips a bit crooked in the cutest way as you listened to ‘no other heart’.
soon enough, the two of your infectious smiles broke out into endless giggles as you both thought about the initial stupid topic of headphones. yeah, those disgusting lemon-y headphones could never compare to the euphoric sound of keigo’s new black sonys.
maybe you’d get a pair for yourself.
omg this short drabble took seconds to think about in my head but hours to execute 💔 ill get better i promise

SONIC THE HEDGEHOG BUT SUPER EVIL AND SCARY AND STUFF!!!
(SONIC.EXE PARODY)
By Oscar James.
(PART 1)
Hello, my name is Tom. I'm a hyper mega super sonic fan, I mean, who isn't? He's Sonic the goddamn hedgehog! Who wouldn’t be?! I mean, he was so cool that he was able to take down the behemoth of nintendo and make them go third party. Sure Microsoft's Xbox and Sony's playstation gave saga a tad bit of trouble, but they were no match for the SEGA game cube and SEGA wii U and the games for the systems were some of the best of gaming to ever land mankind. Such as the spectacular sonic adventure 3, sonic heroes 2 and who could forget the sensational masterpiece of sonic forces (such a good and well written game that is)
Anyway, I'm getting off topic. The other day I was playing some sonic shuffle 12 on my SEGA switch and the mailman came and delivered some, you guessed it, mail! What he delivered however was something strange, it was a CD case and a letter attached to it. The letter was from my dear friend Kyle who I hadn’t heard from in a few weeks at that time.
It read:
Dear Tom
It's me, Kyle.
That's how I knew it was written by Kyle, only Kyle would write something like.
In this CD case there is a sonic game I got from this cult like looking person in the dark creepy alleyway by the arcade. They gave it to me for free so thought it would be alright. That would be the biggest mistake I would ever make… you have to destroy the CD Tom, it's too late for me. Don't even play it, or you'll end up ten feet underground…
This text was crossed out for some reason and under it it read:
This game is super good and sexy and swagger and you should totally play it and stuff. I double pinkie promise it won't kill you I swear! Lots of love
KYLE ( I think that's what his name is anyway… )
This seemed a bit off, I don't know why Kyle decided to change handwriting and write in blood, but Kyle does sound like this however so I believed the letter. I rammed the CD in my pc and opened it up. The only thing in the CD was a game named sonic.exe.
I had no idea what sonic game this could be (sonic 1 maybe) I booted up the game and the title screen came up, but something was strange about it.
The Sonic on the title screen looked strange, he had a really long snout, he had four fingers instead of five, his ears were really long (kind of like devil horns) his eyes were black and had red pupils, he had no teeth, his gloves were a dirty yellow and he was just a darker colour palette in general. The water was red, the title read “SONIC the hedgehog but EVIL!” and the SEGA logo had 666 instead of 1991.
This was probably one of the weirdest bugs I ever did see.
When I pressed start and the game began, the first zone of the game was called “GROOVY GROVE”
The name is quite fitting to be honest, the grass and trees are blue (a very chill colour) and the flowers were wearing sunglasses and doing a little dance (groovy). The music playing was from the hit game Sonic 3D blast called “GREEN GROVE” ( which in itself was a groovy tune so it fit). What I found strange was the fact that I was playing as Tails instead of Sonic for some strange reason. Everything else was fine from what I could figure out. So I was playing the game having a grand time, then something strange happened.
The sky began to turn red and the water purple, the grass began to die out, dead animals began to pop up, the plant life had eyes and veins, my ring count changed from five to 666 and Tails had a worried expression on his face while the music was also beginning to slow down. Again, weirdest bugs I ever laid my eyes upon.
Suddenly! The music stopped, then the water began to turn red (just like the title screen…).
As I continued to walk forward, I finally saw him, Sonic the hedgehog! But something was wrong, Tails looked worried to see Sonic, Sonic himself looked a bit menacing as well, closed eyes and crossed arms. As I got closer to Sonic, he opened one of his eyes slightly, but his eyes were black with red pupils (again just like the title screen…).
When all of a sudden…
The Sonic from the title screen revealed himself with his mouth wide open. Tails screamed in terror and the screen went black. Text then appeared on screen which said:
Hello you two tailed dimwit. You wanna play a game?
At that moment I realised… this wasn’t a buggy game. BUT A HACKED ONE!
The next zone went on, the zone was called “NOT SO GROOVY GROVE”
The zone was on fire and the plant life was dead, the ring count read “RUN! FOR GOD'S SAKE RUN!” Tails was looking at me, breaking the fourth wall, pointing to the right and waving his hands, panicking. It was clear what I had to do.
I had to RUN… to the RIGHT!!!
I ran to the right for a little while trying to escape whatever this hell hole was. But it was no use. Because all of a sudden.
The Evil Sonic appeared, running with a giant mallet in hand, rapidly approaching Tails and the drowning music started to play giving me an extremely anxious feeling. No matter how hard I held down the right arrow key on my keyboard.
There was no way anyone could out run the fastest thing alive…
The Evil Sonic BONKED Tails on the head with such extreme force, that the word bonk appeared out of thin air. As tails fell to the ground, with stars in his eyes, all this Evil Sonic could do…
Was laugh, but not just any old laughter, this was a laugh of hysteria. This evil, twisted DEMONIC Sonic had no heart, no soul If he found this funny. The screen went black and text appears on screen which read:
"BAHAHAHAHAHAHA! THAT WAS WAY TO EASY, I KNOW TAILS IS LIKE EIGHT. BUT COME ON! Oh but I guess I shouldn't be too hard on the little guy should I. After all… I really should be blaming you Tom, you are a noob after all."
At that moment, a shiver went down my spine, he acknowledged me, he obliterated the fourth wall, I didn't understand how this was possible. Then I realised something, this game wasn’t buggy or hacked. It was… gulp HAUNTED!!!!! There's a ghost, or demon, or something else supernatural in this sonic game that I so carelessly rammed into my pc, I didn't know how to feel about this, but I sure as hell knew what to say.
“Did you just call me a noob?” “ Yeah, I did. What of it?” “Why though” “Cause you are ya noob” “EXCUSE ME! I AM WHAT YOU WOULD CALL AN EPIC GAMER!!!” “That's what a noob would say” “I'm not a goddamn noob!” “Yeah you are” “AM NOT!” “ARE TOO!”
“AM NOT!” “ARE TOO!”
“AM NOT!” “ARE TOO!”
“AM NOT!” “ARE TOO!”
“AM NOT!” “ARE TOO!”
“AM NOT!” “ARE TOO!”
“AM NOT!” “ARE TOO!”
“AM NOT!” “ARE TOO!”
“AM NOT!” “ARE TOO!”
“AM NOT!” “ARE TOO!”
“AM NOT!” “ARE TOO!”
“AM NOT!” “ARE TOO!”
“AM NOT!” “ARE TOO!”
“AM NOT!” “ARE TOO!”
“AM NOT!” “ARE TOO!”
“AM NOT!” “ARE TOO!”
This went on for about five hours.
“ Well then, if you really are an EPIC GAMER! Why don’t you give someone else a shot…”

Karan Soni and Jonathan Groff are well-known for their blockbusters – but their latest project, the critically acclaimed indie A Nice Indian Boy, marks a welcome gear change.
The guys discussed their new film, currently rated 100% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, with Attitude alongside director Roshan Sethi at last night’s BFI London Film Festival screening at the Curzon Mayfair.
Asked to sum up the film’s plot, Karan said: “My character meets Jonathan’s character, we fall in love, and then I have to introduce him to my very traditional Indian family. He has to win them over before the wedding.”
Added Jonathan: “I just watched the movie for the first time a couple of days ago; I wanted to see it in a theatre, not a link on my laptop. And I was so overwhelmed by the power of this movie.”
“I’ve been saying the movie is for everyone – for queer people, for not queer people, for Indian people, not Indian people,” Roshan meanwhile told us.
Sharing feedback he’s received from parents at screening Q&As, Karan said: “They spoke about their own journey, with not going to their children’s weddings. They’ve come to peace with it years later, but they’ve missed chunks of their lives with their children. A lot of them spoke about, if they had a version of this movie earlier, maybe would have bridged that gap sooner.”
Jonathan, of course, is known for his work in the two Frozen films and 2021’s The Matrix Resurrections, plus popular TV shows like Glee and Looking. The Tony Award-winner is also a stage veteran, with credits including Hamilton and Merrily We Roll Along.
“That would be amazing if that happened,” said Jonathan of the possibility of fans of his studio films supporting this title. “That, in some ways, is out of our control. But in my gut, I feel like great work and great art finds its way. I believed in this script and this team. … Happily, if there are people who are Glee or Frozen or Mindhunter or musical theatre fans, I’m so happy to bring them this story. But I think the movie is powerful enough to bring people on its own accord.”
Describing the plot of the film, Roshan said: “We shot a dance sequence that appears somewhere in the movie. It was tremendously difficult, but very memorable!” And asked for standout feedback to the film, he said: “Probably from my mother, who said she understood me in a way she hadn’t before! It was very sweet, very moving.”
Reflecting on the importance of film criticism, Roshan said: “It’s the most important thing. This is my second independent film, and third overall. In each case, independent films in particular, … survive on the critics’ response. That’s what gets the attention of distributors, who are all reading every single review and looking at the Rotten Tomatoes score. It [makes it] easier to make the next movie as well. It makes a huge, huge difference. Also, people at the distributors often don’t believe there’s an audience for a movie. Critics often prove that there is.”

Hmmm what if…..
Listening to The Tortured Poets Department and thinking….what if this is from Karlie’s perspective?
Like girl, stop being so dramatic and tragic and let’s just BE TOGETHER!
Why are you sacrificing us to this idea of being the great poet? They don’t hold you, they don’t know you, they don’t decode you or troll you like me.
I’m the one who actually knows you….stop picking the fans/industry and choose us instead!
You left your typewriter at my apartment
Straight from the tortured poets department
I think some things I never say
Like, who uses typewriters anyway?
But you're in self-sabotage mode
Throwin' spikes down on the road
But I've seen this episode and still loved the show
Who else decodes you?
And who's gonna hold you like me?
And who's gonna know you if not me?
I laughed in your face and said
You're not Dylan Thomas, I'm not Patti Smith
This ain't the Chelsea Hotel, we're modern idiots
And who's gonna hold you like me?
Nobody, no-fucking-body, nobody
You smoked then ate seven bars of chocolate
We declared Charlie Puth should be a bigger artist
I scratch your head, you fall asleep
Like a tattooed Golden Retriever
But you awaken with dread, pounding nails in your head
But I've read this one where you come undone
I chose this cyclone with you
And who's gonna hold you like me? (Who's gonna hold you, who's gonna hold you?)
And who's gonna know you like me? (Who's gonna know you?)
I laughed in your face and said
You're not Dylan Thomas, I'm not Patti Smith
This ain't the Chelsea Hotel, we're modern idiots
And who's gonna hold you like me?
No-fucking-body, nobody (who's gonna hold you, who's gonna hold you?)
(Who's gonna hold you, gonna know you, won't control you?) Nobody
Sometimes I wonder if you're gonna screw this up with me
But you told Lucy you'd kill yourself if I ever leave
And I had said that to Jack about you so I felt seen
Everyone we know understands why it's meant to be
'Cause we're crazy
So tell me, who else is gonna know me?
At dinner, you take my ring off my middle finger
And put it on the one people put wedding rings on
And that's the closest I've come to my heart exploding
Who's gonna hold you? (Who?) Me
Who's gonna know you? (Who?) Me
And you're not Dylan Thomas, I'm not Patti Smith
This ain't the Chelsea Hotel, we're two idiots
Who's gonna hold you?
You left your typewriter at my apartment
Straight from the tortured poets department
Who else decodes you? (Who? Who?)
