Now this feels familiar.

A few years ago, I was in a community for an AU called "The Sonicverse Stickmin Collection", which crossed over Sonic the Hedgehog and Henry Stickmin - and in around late 2020, I drew the design of Henry from it (which you can actually still find here).

Recently, however I've discovered another fan of the AU has been working on their own fan continuation of the AU, so I decided to redraw the Henry drawing I did back then with the design used in the fan continuation. I also did a variant with the design from the original AU, which I'll put under the break for people who want to see it.

I dunno why, but it kind of reminds me of those "retro" character skins in games.

Man who would it thought that this AU came out 4 years ago by @zimisnotdrifting , and I feel I wouldn't have managed to open up to people know then before… Thought I still need to work on my communication more, This AU has helped me alot. :)

So... Seeing as this AU has essentially been long cancelled now, and since it's been on my mind lately (and also since if I didn't draw this my mind would probably self-destruct), I felt like paying one last tribute to this AU and do a final drawing for @driftingzim's Sonicverse Stickmin AU - an AU which I've come to realise had quite a bit of an impact on me over the last few months.

Seeing as I already sent Zim an ask about it around the start of the month, I'm just gonna keep this part as brief as I can: This was one of the very first AUs for the game I ever discovered back in around September 2020 (back when I was first getting into the game), and over time gradually grew interested due to the character designs - my favourite probably being Charles - and artwork...even though I already learned a very major plot-point in the AU early on due to Zim having posted some art of it in late September that year (lol).

However, if there's one thing that truly makes this AU so special to me, it would probably be the community. Back in the heyday of the Discord server, I was a pretty big part of it, which I continued to be for a long time. I made some good friends there, and I had a lot of great times there: To this day, I still hold the Charles Virus mishap near and dear to me, and that's only scraping the top of the barrel. Even if I've left the community a few months back due to personal issues (If any of you who were in the server are reading this: it was none of you guys' faults. I left on my own accord.), I still cherish all the times I had there, no matter what. Those days may be gone, but the memories made will forever remain

I know this was rather long, but I just wanted to express in words what this AU truly means to me. It may be gone, but it certainly isn't gonna be forgotten any time soon.

I've already said this in my original ask, but Zim, if you're reading this: Thank you for making such a way-past-cool AU, as well as bringing forth a just as way-past-cool community!
