THIRD POV!
Sonic had just finished running challenge laps with Shadow until he saw someone that caught his attention.. [Y/N].. he was having a conversation with Tails, probably talking about some inventions or stuff, and got distracted by him, so on Sonic accidentally crashed into a tree, causing Shadow to win and sonic to lose.
[Y/N] noticed Sonic crashing into a tree and walked towards him with a worried look at Sonic, "Sonic?! Are you okay??" [Y/N] approached Sonic, checking up on him, causing Sonic cheeks to flushed pink. "Yea.. I'm okay. I just got lose track of speed! Ya' know how I am!". Sonic was trying to find excuse to avoid embarrassing himself infront of [Y/N].
[Y/N] let out relief sigh to see that Sonic is alright before extending his hand to sonic, before sonic extend and grabbed his hand to help him stand. "Let's get you check up first", and so on both of them walk out together with Tails behind.

Could I request headcanons about Sonic when he realizes he's falling in love with y/n?

Of course!
-It depends if your relationship is like him and Tails, or him and Shadow. (Mutual friends, or Sonic considers you friends but you're really not.)
-I see a lot of things thinking people in this scenario not knowing what a crush is, I'm pretty sure Sonic knows what it is. He's just more caught off guard with it and thought he felt this more towards someone else, but he was wrong.
-He's slightly easier to embarrass when you're around. He also tries showing off/impressing you more, but this could just be brushed off as friendship rather than him liking you in a romantic sense.
-It is certainly not surprising of hin to try and show off to someone, so it'd be quite idiotic to assume something is out of the ordinary.
-He does heavily rely on his friends, so he's going to them to ask for advice while trying his best to not hint at having a crush on someone.
-"So, Tails, lets say you hypothetically you have a massive crush on someone, how would you tell that person you like them?"
-"Sonic, who do you have a crush on?"
-"N-No one! I didn't say anything about me liking anyone! I'm just asking if this happen to be the case!"
-"Yeah, totally."
-Even while most people catch on to him liking someone, they don't know who, so when Amy heard him ask her, she got ECSTATIC.
-And I only say most people didn't know, is because Rouge knew. She knows everything. No one can escape her wrath.
-"You know Y/N likes you too, right?"
-"I didn't sa-, wait what?!"
-That just bring his confidence up by a million and plans coffessing very, very soon, but that's for another time...

Hey there!
May I request Sonic X a Frankenstein reader who's easily scared and stutters?
𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐠 𝐱 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐢𝐧!𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫
𝔄𝔲𝔱𝔥𝔬𝔯’𝔰 𝔏𝔢𝔱𝔱𝔢𝔯: Yes you may that’s a very sweet idea Anon!! I really hope you enjoy these headcanons!!
- Sonic is very understanding and patient with you, he’ll always reassure you to just take it easy and don’t push yourself too hard.
- He’s always making sure that you’re doing okay and would ask about your boundaries, keeping them in mind whenever you two are out and about.
- While yes he loves excitement and adventure, you’ve taught him to enjoy and love the little moments. The moments where love isn’t so exciting, it’s mundane and quiet, almost like it’s a breath of fresh air.
- He thinks you being a being made of multiple parts is extremely cool, especially since you look so different.
- Sonic does ask questions about how you were created and generally what it’s like to be a sort of Frankenstein/Amalgamation like being. Obviously if you’re down to answer, he’s all ears and sat down eagerly awaiting to listen to you.
- Mostly to hear your voice, but it’s an added bonus and he gets to learn more about you. And that just delights him.
- He’s very quick to remind his friends to be cool around you and to not overwhelm you, but if you start being less scared. He knows to take a step back, but regardless Sonic will support you no matter what.
- Overall he’s a very sensible and kind lover, always making sure you’re okay, but not overbearing towards you.
Thanks for reading! If you enjoy my stuff please feel free to check out my other stories from other fandoms, along with reblogging and commenting on it! If you like my art and wanna commission me head over to my kofi!

||DC X SONIC!READER HEADCANNONS||
Summary: HEY?! A wild blue hedgehog that’s as fast as flash?! WHAT THE—

Sonic!reader who accidentally travels into a comic universe, dc as a choice and accidentally standing in the justice league HQ. “Uhhh.. meow?” The hedgehog says with a shrug. Immediately the hedgehog is running as quick as the flash? Barry or Wally, whatever you think is the flash at the moment is trying to catch the damn hedgehog. But the hedgehog only thinks of this as a game! Smiling before feeling his legs get caught in a glowing yellow rope.
“State your business and name!” The lady with the lasso says holding the animal up. Sonic!reader spits the truth out by how he has accidentally traveled into this universe. The team didn’t want to believe it, but you were still in the lasso of truth. So you were telling the truth. The hedgehog is already friends with flash, who wants to see how fast the hedgehog can do. And seeing how they both can do speed off and stop time while staying slow, yeah they both are downing food together.
Hal who literally makes fun of the quick hedgehog, that was before Sonic!reader took the ring off his finger so quick, flash laughed with the others. Batman only smiled a little before it quickly gone away.
Superman is gushing over how small the hedgehog is. He can’t help but not take Sonic!reader seriously. Really he can’t take the male hedgehog seriously because of how small and how funny and how they are determined to help people. It’s adorable to the man of steel!
Wonder Woman who adore the small hedgehog as well, after learning the adventures Sonic!reader has done and fought during. Wonder Woman smiles at the hedgehog, Sonic!reader then tells about how they have a female friend that wields a hammer. Immediately Wonder Woman is sat down when Sonic!reader describes the hammer and how big it is. Now Wonder Woman needs to know lore.
Gotham villains hate to see Sonic!reader coming when literally next minute they are in jail or in the asylum. Literally poison ivy and Harley were ready for their plan to succeed. But when they took a step forward, they were already in the asylum with a hedgehog swinging cell keys playfully in a guard uniform. “Already ahead of ya! Bye bye!” Then the blue hedgehog is gone.
The hedgehog being wrapped in a blanket like a baby because he got a bit tried when running. Clark is trying not to cry while holding the hedgehog. “Clark…give me the hedgehog.—" Bruce tries to grab the hedgehog. But the super immediately flies away.
Sonic!reader Who does his idle animation whenever speeding away from danger, mocking them as he wags his finger. “Gotta try harder than that!”
Catwoman having her whip around the blue hedgehog, having him hogtied. Sonic!reader is grumbling like the gremlin they are while catwoman, aka Selina is contacting Bruce. “Bruce..I got a hedgehog that says he’s with you..” “sigh..here I come.”
Barry and Wally just watching Sonic!reader speed around, they laugh at how adorable and excited the house. They Wally speeds over to try and stop sonic!reader who got stuff in a box.
“That’s so crash!” Bart says smiling at Sonic!reader who burned into a empty street with their speed. The fire shows a detailed chili dog. “I don’t know what that means, but yeah!” Reader says smiling and high giving Bart.
Impulse who likes Sonic!reader like a brother. Always asking for races and who can shove most food, but honestly it makes impulse and the flash family kinda disappointed to see that you aren’t really like them as you throw up. You eat for energy, they have to eat or else they die. Impulse still likes you treat you like you are part of the flash family, just like the flash does as well.
“You’re too slow!” Sonic!reader says when speeding pass impulse, aka Bart. Bart smiles at this and zooms to catch up which his new brother figure.
Batfamily vs Flashfamily wanting custody over the small hedgehog.
Bruce just training and seeing how fast Sonic!reader is and his potentials before treating Sonic!reader like son he just picked up. (He basically did) Bruce seeing how childish and smart mouth he can be reminded him of one of his sons, so he just basically “adopted” this small hedgehog.
Dick is just not amused at another speedster, what he is amused that this so called “speedster” is named Sonic and is fast like the flash. Reader just shows up in the manor holding up a chili dog with a goofy smile. “Want one? It’s still hot.” Dick couldn’t help but smile at the adorable hedgehog male and took the chili dog. Only he took the chili dog because he wanted to seem nice
Damian who couldn’t care what you are and who you are. Thought he is amused by how quick you are to have the audacity to talk back to him. He found out your weakness and smirks every-time the face of the hedgehog’s face drops at the word “pool.
Tim basically being DR. Eggman for Sonic!reader but more chill and totally not a villian. Tim just wants to know how a hedgehog is talking and is fast like the flash. Maybe he would pull on your quills to get a sample
Jason just reading the hedgehog books, maybe even bringing a comic book to Sonic!reader’s liking as the hedgehog has an oversized shirt with a goofy ahh smile. “Sup Jay!” Sonic!reader says with a smile. Jason just stays quiet and prays that he doesn’t show cute aggression at this hedgehog ass motherfucker.
Sonic!reader who just relaxes in the Wayne manor, talking to Alfred who just freshly made him some chili dogs. Yeah reader can get use to this.

The cozy living room of the Wachowski household was a whirlwind of activity. Knuckles, Tails, and Sonic were abuzz with energy as you tried to keep up. As Jojo’s babysitter and the honorary fourth member of this ragtag group, your days were anything but ordinary. Between Tails' tech experiments, Knuckles' newfound obsession with braiding, and Sonic's endless antics, you often found yourself being pulled in every direction.
Today was no different. Knuckles sat behind you on the couch, his large hands clumsily attempting to braid your hair with an intensity that could rival a championship match. "I do not understand why humans have so much hair," he grumbled, his brows furrowed. "It is like battling a wild beast."
You laughed, glancing over at Tails, who was sprawled out in front of you as you gently brushed his fluffy tails. "It's not that bad, Knuckles. And Tails, hold still—you keep twitching!"
“Does this hurt?” you asked, pulling through a particularly stubborn knot.
Tails winced slightly but shook his head. “Nope! Just tickles a little. But thanks for helping—I’ve been meaning to take better care of them. Gotta stay aerodynamic, you know?”
Knuckles, sitting behind you on the couch, furrowed his brow in concentration as he fumbled with a section of your hair. “Braiding is no simple task,” he declared, his tone serious.
You laughed, glancing over your shoulder. “You’re doing great, Knux. Just… maybe don’t pull so tight?”
“Noted,” he said solemnly, adjusting his grip.
Across the room, Sonic was perched on the armrest of the couch, tapping his foot impatiently. “Hey, Y/N,” he called, leaning forward. “when you’re done playing hairdresser, how about we do something fun? I’ve got this really cool idea we should try—”
“Just a minute, Sonic,” you said, not looking up from Tails’ fur.
Sonic froze mid-step, the ball caught in his gloved hand. His ears drooped slightly as he flopped onto the armrest of the couch, kicking his legs lazily. “Sure. No rush,” he muttered, but the slump in his posture betrayed his disappointment.
Knuckles glanced at Sonic, his crimson face betraying a rare flicker of sympathy. “The blue one grows restless. Perhaps we should take him on a hunt?”
“A hunt for what, Knuckles?” Tails asked, clearly amused.
Knuckles puffed out his chest. “For purpose!”
You chuckled, shaking your head. “Maybe we’ll plan something after I finish here, okay?”
...
As the day wore on, you found yourself in the kitchen, preparing sandwiches and snacks for everyone. The kitchen was warm and alive, the aroma of freshly chopped herbs mingling with the distant hum of conversation and laughter spilling in from the living room. Tails’ excited rambling about his latest gadget punctuated Knuckles’ booming declarations, and every now and then, a peal of laughter rippled through the air. It was the kind of noise that made the house feel less like walls and more like a heart—beating, alive, and full.
Sonic lingered near the counter, his hand idly drumming against its edge. His usual easy grin was there, but you noticed the subtle edge to it—like he was trying to hold something back.
“Need help?” he asked casually, though the slight upward tilt of his voice betrayed him.
“Sure,” you replied, pointing toward the stack of plates. “Can you grab those for me?”
In a flash, he zipped across the room, the plates balanced precariously in his arms as he stopped so close that you had to catch yourself against the counter.
“Whoa!” you exclaimed, your laugh breaking the momentary surprise.
“Sorry!” Sonic said quickly, his ears flattening as he shuffled back a step. His usual cocky demeanor faltered, replaced by a sheepish glance your way.
“It’s okay,” you reassured him, your laugh softening. “Just… maybe slow down a bit?”
He rubbed the back of his neck, his hand brushing over the white band of his glove. “Yeah… sorry,” he murmured, his voice quieter now.
Sonic hopped onto one of the kitchen chairs, the bounce in his step noticeably missing. He swung his legs slightly, his eyes avoiding yours as he fiddled with his gloves, the silence settling between you.
“You alright?” you asked, tilting your head to get a better look at his face.
He hesitated, his fingers pausing mid-fidget. “It’s just… I don’t know,” he began, his voice low and uncertain. “I guess I feel like I’m kinda… left out sometimes.”
The confession hit you like a weight, and you felt your chest tighten. Setting the knife down, you pulled a chair next to him, your movement slow and deliberate.
“Sonic, I’m so sorry,” you said softly, your hand resting gently on his arm. “I didn’t know you felt that way.”
He shrugged, though the gesture lacked its usual confidence. When he finally looked at you, his green eyes were unguarded, vulnerable in a way that felt rare and precious.
“I know you don’t mean to,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper. “It’s just… Tails has all his gadgets, and Knuckles has his whole ‘warrior thing.’ Sometimes it feels like… like I don’t really fit anywhere.”
The ache in his words settled heavily in the space between you. You leaned forward, squeezing his arm gently.
“Sonic,” you said, your voice firm yet kind, “you’re just as important as Tails and Knuckles. You don’t have to have gadgets or a warrior thing to matter. You’re you. And I care about you—just as much as them. You’re family to me.”
He blinked, his eyes wide as if the words caught him off guard. Slowly, a small, genuine smile spread across his face.
“Really?” he asked, his voice tentative but hopeful.
“Really,” you affirmed with a nod. “And families? They don’t pick favorites.”
He grinned then, the kind of grin that made his eyes light up and the room feel just a bit brighter. Without a word, he leaned in, wrapping his arms around you in a hug that was both spontaneous and deeply sincere.
“Thanks, Y/N,” he murmured, his voice muffled against your shoulder.
You hugged him back, your hand rubbing small circles on his back. “Anytime, Blue Blur,” you replied, your smile mirroring his.

Can I request Jealous Boom!Sonic and reader?
The reader is really close to Shadow and lives very close to him so they frequently hang out. It can be either that reader and sonic are already in a relationship or they’re still pining for one another!
Sonic goes through the whole “What does Shadow have that I don’t” thing and it’s just fluff and crack.
Sonic boom is my comfort show so I got very happy to see that your requests are open for it!!
Blue With Jealousy
(Boom!Sonic x Doctor!Reader)
A/n: This can be seen as a part two of my other Boom!Sonic x Doctor!Reader.

You didn't mean to do it again. Accidentally make a new… friend? At least deep down, you hoped Shadow considered you a friend as you thought him yours.
In your defense, it’s not your fault—once again. When you became a doctor, you swore an oath to help people regardless of background.
Hell, you’ve even patched up Dr. Eggman at rare times. You would’ve helped him more if your friends hadn’t always sent him flying away. Even at rare times, when he wasn’t sent flying, whenever you tried to help, he’d yell at you to buzz off before going away faster than you could catch up.
On the day you first saw Sonic fighting Shadow, your heart dropped quite a bit. You knew Sonic was capable. You never doubted him once. However, it looked like Shadow was just as capable as well. He’s also able to teleport.
You were tending to your friends' injuries. Your movements were swift, still, calm, and calculated as you helped your friends individually. However, you felt anything but level-headed and collected on the inside.
Your heart was pounding so hard you could feel the thumps against your ribcage. You can hear your heart beating in your ears, intertwined with fighting in the background.
You never doubted yourself in the past about being a valuable member of Seaside Island’s heroes, but for the first time, you felt useless despite your knowledge of medicine. You hated having to acknowledge the fact that you have your limits. You only know how to heal, not fight. Although it never bothered you in the past, knowing if you acted recklessly and tried something, you’d only end up injuring yourself and possibly someone else. Then you’d all be in trouble, being the person all your friends depended on to treat them.
But this time was different.
When you finished helping Tails, you turned to look at Sonic, who finally got the upper hand, and things seemed to be turning around in his favor. Your muscles relaxed, and you felt like you could breathe properly. The atmosphere changed around you and your friends, and you all felt relieved.
When Sonic landed the last hit, it made you recoil at the impact Shadow took. Your reaction surprised you, considering you have never felt bad whenever Eggman got his ass handed to him. And yet, for some reason, someone who's caused more havoc at just the first time you’ve seen him than the multiple times you’ve come across Eggman was able to make you react that way.
With a promise from Shadow to get back at Sonic, he disappeared.
You could hear the little shouts of victory from your friends, but your attention was on the area where Shadow once stood, and your mind went back to his injuries.
Not even a second later, with a small sigh, you started walking.
You’re a healer at heart, after all, through and through. You didn’t need to second guess yourself that you wanted to look for Shadow to tend to his wounds, although he was attacking your group just seconds before.
Not a few steps later, Sonic ran to your side with a tilt of his head in your line of sight, “Where you goin’? Meh Burgers is that way. What? That tired you can’t even walk in the same direction as everyone else?” He teased, pointing towards your friends making their way to eat and celebrate.
“It’s fine, I’m not hungry. Besides, I need to check on some civilians and ask if anyone is hurt, just in case. See you next time.” You calmly said, trying to make sure you weren’t coming off as suspicious.
It was a believable lie. You’ve done so multiple times in the past. If an attack happened, you asked if anyone was harmed, and if not, you led them to safety before focusing on your friends if you didn’t have time to check on any citizens beforehand, definitely afterward.
You would feel guilty about lying about checking on other folks to seek out Shadow if you didn’t already know beforehand that everyone else was okay.
You continued walking, ensuring you didn’t seem nervous or look back.
Sonic was left with his shoulders slumped at the disappointment of this perfect excuse for you to be around him, not work. Watching your figure go away, he couldn’t help but feel that something was off.
Unable to figure it out, he returned to catch up with the rest.
Sonic caught up beside Amy when she asked, “Where’s (y/n)?” She looked behind, trying to spot you.
“Looking for the people who ran away to see if they’re hurt,” he said as if it were normal. However, some underlying turmoil surprised him, and he didn’t understand why.
That was until Amy pointed out, “Without looking at your injuries before leaving?” Eyes wide.
That’s when the realization hit him hard. You’re always on him about staying safe or ensuring he knows to relax and not overdo it. And this time, you didn’t even scan his body at all.
He looked back to where you were no longer there, subconsciously, one hand rubbing his arm where a bruise formed.
You had started running once you were out of sight to find Shadow.
You searched until you came across a cave. Out of breath, you slowed down and continued walking. Seeing the glowing pinkish cryptic drawings and writing carved all over the walls of this dark—almost depressing—cave, you felt pretty sure you’d find the emo red and black hedgehog.
“You have some nerve coming out here on your own.”
Speak of the devil.
You looked around until Shadow teleported right behind you. A yelp left your lips as you jumped back in fright.
It's too late to consider backing out now.
You breathed to calm down, “I saw you take quite a couple of hits back there.”
You immediately realized how bad that sounded by the way his expression worsened. “I’m a doctor! I’d like to take a look to see if you need medical aid.” You quickly explained.
A ‘tch’ left Shadow’s mouth, “Do I look weak to you? The last time I saw you, you were running around like a headless chicken while your friends,” he emphasized, making the word sound like an insult somehow, “were the ones fighting.”
His words reminded you of the new painful insecurities that formed hours ago, and you started to feel angry. However, without allowing anger to cloud your consciousness, you decided it would be best not to feed into the tiny spark that could escalate and combust into roaring flames. So you continued, “I know you aren’t weak. Regardless, I took an oath when I became a doctor to help people without discrimination. That includes you, Shadow. Even though you terrorized many people and attacked my friends, I still intend to stay loyal to my oath.”
The expression and gaze Shadow gave you probably would’ve made you tremble, especially knowing what he’s capable of. To top it all off, you were in his territory, and your friends did not know where you were. And yet, it felt like something just burst into life inside you. Your face held a determined look, and your stance was confident -unlike how you had been the last time he saw you. Your eyes held a fire that didn’t snuff out by his glaring eyes, and your gaze never looked away from him.
He broke the silence with a groan, “Very well then. Judging by your look, you’re not going to leave anytime soon. You might as well get it over with so you can leave. Any funny business, however,” Shadow raised his fist, clarifying what would happen as he went to sit down.
You would be lying if you said you thought this would work out and that he would accept your help, even if it were begrudgingly.
You tried to conceal your happiness over your victory by trying to calm down; however, you’re sure Shadow saw this anyway. You walk before him and place your bag beside you to start working.
“You’re doing this out of obligation?” Shadow asked.
Keeping focus on finding how many injuries he may have, you responded, “I’m no fighter.”
“Obviously.” Shadow interrupted.
Annoyance aside, you continued, “I’ve always been drawn towards learning how to heal people. I would’ve been doing this regardless if I went to school for medicine or went a different route and became an herbal doctor instead.” A genuine and gentle smile crept up on your face. You were so focused on the work that you missed how Shadow looked at you.
Ever since that day, you would seek him out, which is surprising because you’re more introverted. When you first came back to visit Shadow, he asked why you bothered coming back; you went with the excuse that since he’s far away from where most people live and you have no idea if he is doing well since Shadow keeps to himself, you planned to visit him now and then. Which isn’t a lie; you do mean it. You just left out that you enjoyed his company more and more as time passed.
If only you hadn’t gotten so lost in the moment, you’d realize Sonic and your friends were getting suspicious of how much you found excuses for not being able to join them.
Eventually, Sonic had enough one day and ran to your home to confront you.
“(Y/n), we need to talk.” He barged in without even knocking in advance. Before he can continue, he sees not just you looking at him wide-eyed, but Shadow is also there.
“(Y/n)!” Sonic is about to attack when your arms are wide in front of Shadow. Are you protecting him?
“Hold up, I’m not in danger!”
Sonic stops right in front of you, stumped. A familiar voice is heard before anyone can say anything, “Hey (Y/n), you home?” Knuckles takes a peek into your home. “Am I interrupting something?” He looks between the three of you. You’re confused at the look Knuckles is giving until it finally clicks. Your back is almost all against Shadow, while Sonic is a little too up close to you. Face warming up, you panicked and pushed both of them away from you, “No! Nothing was happening!”
Knuckles gave you a face that he didn’t believe you, “I’m not the brightest tool in the drawer, but that’s not really convincing, you know.”
Before you can defend yourself, you hear the rest of your friends making their way to your house.
You want to scream.
The tension in the air feels thick after explaining everything to everyone.
Tails is the first to speak up, “There’s no way you’re actually going to let him live here, are you?”
“Absolutely not,” Sonic said as if he was not letting there be any other option.
“What if this is some kind of plan to get close to our healer, and when (Y/n) least expects it, bam!” Sticks waved her arms around dramatically, “They're gone!”
“If Shadow wanted to harm and get rid of me, he would’ve already done so when he had the chance multiple times.”
Although what you said was reasonable, it didn’t ease their minds. Knuckles was skeptical. Sticks and Sonic were glaring at Shadow -unbeknownst to you, Shadow was sending a smirk toward Sonic, which made him more sour than before. And Amy and Tails were worried.
Desperate, you turn to Amy, “Shadow lives alone away from the village with no one else around. This can be a good thing; he won't be completely isolated but not overcrowded.” Your house was a perfect distance away from the village. You had complete privacy but weren’t too far from not being able to show up on time in case of an emergency.
Thankfully, Amy seemed to have taken the bait: “This can be a good thing, you guys. Shadow has made a new friend who can be by his side.”
Amy liked to believe that there could be good in everybody. So it seemed worth the shot if being around you helps Shadow be less lonely and not attack others anymore -or at least not trying to ‘destroy’ anyone.
Amy’s words seem to have worked more than your own. Most of your friends looked less tense—all except one blue hedgehog.
“No way. How can we just leave (Y/n) alone with Shadow believing he won’t try something?”
Amy quickly replied, “We know they’ve both been hanging out for some time, and (Y/n) was always left unharmed. " She then had a small smirk. “And Shadow didn’t deny (Y/n) being his friend.”
Everyone shifted their gaze to Shadow when Amy pointed it out. They caught a glimpse of shock on his face for a second before he looked away with a frown, groaning.
Sonic, stressed that he wasn’t winning this argument, began tapping his foot on the floor. He had one hand on his hip and the other pressed against his forehead.
He had a feeling he was not going to like any of this.
And sure enough, Sonic was right.
He couldn’t decide whether it was better to find out that you and Shadow had become friends.
Because now that Sonic and the rest of your friends knew, the two of you weren’t hiding anymore.
He hears how you laugh sometimes around Shadow the same way your laugh makes Sonic feel enamored, especially if the reason for it is because of him. The gentle smile you send to the people in your heart now includes Shadow. Whenever an event or get-together comes up, you go out of your way to ask him to join in.
Lost in his thoughts, Sonic hadn’t realized he was quite literally speed-walking in a circle as he was muttering under his breath until Amy interrupted.
“Sonic, you’re going to end up digging yourself into the ground at this rate.”
Sonic stopped and looked down. Sure enough, he accidentally dug a deep enough circle to reach his ankles.
“Oops.”
“It’s best not to assume anything about anyone but Sonic. Are you jealous that Shadow is hanging around (Y/n)?”
“No, why would I be jealous of Shadow?” He answered too quickly. “What does he have that I don’t?”
“Style?” Knuckles pondered.
“He can assert dominance in a fight?” Sticks adds.
“Teleportation?” Tails joins.
Little by little, Sonic’s frown worsens.
“I’ve heard that some people are into the category of men Shadow might fall in. Someone rugged, bitter, and cold, but deep down, they’re caring and sweet to the people they consider dear to them. And once you find out their backstory made them that way, it all makes sense.” Amy exclaimed, her hands clasped together as she looked lost in her world, making it seem like the most romantic thing ever. She snapped out of it before thinking out loud, “I wonder if that's (Y/n)’s type.”
Sonic had enough, “I’m rugged. I’m so rugged!”
Before anyone could say anything, Sonic ran off.
Proud of herself, Amy spoke, “I hope that finally gets him to do something about his feelings. (Y/n) too.”
I'm not jealous. There's no reason for me to be jealous.
How the hell did Sonic end up in this situation? Oh yeah.
He decided to challenge Shadow.
How did it end up being a swimming competition? Don’t ask.
The regret hit Sonic at the same capacity as his speed. He hears the sound of someone jumping into the water before he passes out. It’s only complete darkness for a moment before he’s coughing up salty water, opening his eyes expecting to see his savior, you. So imagine his shock when he sees Shadow; Sonic starts to panic. “What just happened? Please tell me you didn’t kiss me.”
A growl of annoyance leaves Shadow’s lips as his fist raises to punch Sonic when you gently grab his wrist to stop him. “Let’s not punch the patient right back into unconsciousness, okay?”
Shadow rolls his eyes but still complies as he starts to walk away. “I think there’s something that you need to confess to him, (Y/n) before that coward does something else foolish that gets him killed for sure.”
Those words send nerves running through your body, but hopefully, what you have planned will help you express your feelings.
“Tell me what?” Sonic turns to look at you, and he’s surprised by what he sees. There’s a look of vulnerability on your face as you look down at something you’re holding in your hands; he looks down at your hands to see them slightly shaking; before he asks if you’re okay, you open them up and reveal it to him. It is a simple, pretty bracelet with seven tiny pink seashells. “I probably should have given this to you before, but I wanted the gift to be a surprise with the two of us alone.” You give the bracelet to Sonic, “I don’t believe in superstition, but I heard that it’s supposed to protect you in the water and bring you good luck.”
“You made this for me?” Sonic says—more of a statement than a question.
He connects the dots: Shadow saying you need to confess, the look on your face, your shaking hands, the gift, and your intentions behind the gift, both spoken and unspoken. At that moment, he knows that his feelings for you are reciprocating.
A/n: Did I make more references in here like last time? Yes I did. Did I make a reference from one of the Avengers movies? Yes I did. Did I make reference to Sonic X? Yes I did. Can anyone stop me? No. 😈😂

AUTHOR’S NOTE: I am so sorry its so short I genuinely had no idea what to write and all of my information about Bayonetta was from the wiki and a few tiktok edits😭💔
Sonic, Shadow, & Silver x Reader SEP.

SONIC
Matches your freak.
Oh? You wanna throw banter back and forth? He’s built for this.
You think you can beat him in a race? Oh wait you actually gave him a run for his money using your witch time.
He invites you on runs since you’re able to keep up with him.
But deep down he actually admires you.
Bro if you flirt with him he’s going to do it back but ten times worse.
I’m talking the dumbest, most stupid pick up line will leave his mouth and he says it with full confidence too.
SHADOW
Probably would respect you, seeing you similar to Rouge.
He mostly ignores whatever witty comments come out of your mouth.
He loves your heels though. Probably off-handily complimented you once and then ever again.
He commends your fighter spirit.
It seems like no matter what gets thrown at you, you manage to preserve, and he respects that.
If you try to flirt with him he will give you NO reaction.
Even if his stomach is doing flips he will be stone faced and give you the side eye.
SILVER
Upon first meeting Silver genuinely tweaked out.
Little bro doesn’t know how to react.
He is lowkey intimidated by you, won’t say it but his body language gives him away.
He treats you with respect nonetheless and tries to not offend you.
If you throw a flirty comment his way he will get a bit awkward.
He avoids eye contact and gets a little red, a bit quieter too.
He bounces back pretty quickly though and will compliment you back with a small smile.

Shadow x insecure reader, like they feel as if they’re not good enough for the ultimate lifeform(#^.^#)
Authors note: Such a sweet idea!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~♡~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You stare at your reflection in the window, the night sky stretching endlessly outside. The stars twinkle faintly, but all you can focus on is the weight pressing against your chest.
Shadow is the Ultimate Lifeform—fast, strong, intelligent. He’s a hero, a warrior, a force of nature. And you? You’re just… you.
With a sigh, you wrap your arms around yourself, the nagging voice in your head whispering the same thoughts over and over. Why would someone like him want someone like me?
"You’re doing it again," Shadow’s deep voice breaks through your thoughts. You flinch, turning to find him leaning against the doorway, arms crossed, golden eyes watching you carefully.
“Doing what?” you ask, forcing a small smile. “Doubting yourself.” He steps forward, his movements smooth, controlled—like he already knows you’re going to try and deflect.
“I can see it all over your face.” You drop your gaze, fingers fidgeting at the hem of your sleeve. “I just… I don’t know, Shadow.” Your voice is quieter now. “Sometimes I wonder if I’m good enough for you.”
Silence hangs in the air for a moment before you feel his gloved hand gently cup your cheek, tilting your head up so you’re looking at him. “Don’t say that,” he murmurs, his voice softer than usual. “Don’t ever say that.”
Your eyes widen slightly. “But—” “No.” His tone is firm, but there’s no harshness, only conviction. “You are more than enough. You always have been.” Your throat tightens as you try to blink away the sting of tears. “Shadow, I—”
“I don’t care about strength, or power, or whatever ridiculous standards you think I have.” He shakes his head slightly. “You make my world quieter. Better. Do you know how rare that is?”
Your heart clenches, the warmth in his voice wrapping around you like a blanket. He isn’t the type to throw words around lightly—you know that. “…I just don’t want to slow you down,” you admit. Shadow exhales, his forehead lightly pressing against yours.
“You don’t.” His voice is barely above a whisper now, his breath warm against your skin. “If anything, you remind me why I keep moving forward.” The lump in your throat dissolves into something softer, something warmer.
“You really mean that?” you ask, searching his gaze. His thumb brushes lightly against your cheek before he pulls you into his arms, his embrace firm but careful, like he’s afraid you’ll slip away if he’s not gentle.
“I wouldn’t say it if I didn’t.” A shaky breath leaves your lips before you melt into him, your arms wrapping around his waist. The steady thrum of his heartbeat is enough to chase away every doubt, every whisper of insecurity.
For the first time in a while, you let yourself believe it. You are enough. For him, you always will be.
Shadow and Memes
Warning(s): very mild references to existentialism, brief mentions of blood/injuries, faint discussion of trauma
Note(s): Just so you guys know- my requests are open!
Pairing(s): Shadow x Reader (platonic)
Summary: After the world almost ends, you take a vacation to the woods and stumble upon an injured Shadow. Somehow, that leads to memes.
The cabin was supposed to be your escape- a quiet place to get away from the chaos of the past months. After the near-destruction of the world, you needed time to breathe, to remember what it felt like to exist without the constant shadow of disaster looming overhead.
Black pines surrounded the small, rustic cabin you’d rented for the season, isolating you from the rest of the world. The only sounds were the gentle rustle of leaves and the occasional chirp of a bird, the scent of moss and earth occasionally wafting in to join your scented candles. The cabin was stocked with books you hadn't opened yet, a stack of old DVDs, and enough groceries to last you several weeks.
At first, you thought the peace would finally help you decompress. But then, just a week into your retreat, you found him.
It happened when you were out by the edge of the property, collecting firewood. The ground was still damp from last night’s rain, and the cool morning air filled your lungs as you worked. You were about to turn back when something caught your eye- a shadow darker than the forest floor. There, slumped against a tree trunk, was a figure.
At first, you thought it might’ve been a wounded animal, but as you drew closer, the figure came into focus- a hedgehog, but not an ordinary one. His fur was sleek and jet black, streaked with vivid red.
His chest rose and fell in shallow breaths, and his body was covered in dirt and dried blood. One of his arms hung limply at his side, the fur matted with crimson. His face was tense even in unconsciousness, his jaw tight as if bracing for pain.
Your first instinct was to run. After everything you’d heard about what happened in San Francisco, about the alien creatures that looked like him, you weren’t entirely sure this wasn’t some kind of elaborate trap.
But then you saw the way his hands twitched, the barely-there groan as his body shifted slightly against the tree. Whoever he was, he was hurt- and badly. Against your better judgment, you crouched down and reached for him.
“Hey,” you said softly, unsure if he could even hear you. “Are you-”
Before you could finish, his eyes snapped open. Crimson-red, glaring and sharp as a knife, locking onto you like a predator sizing up its prey.
He tried to sit up, but his body failed him, and he slumped back with a hiss of frustration.
“Stay back,” he growled, his voice low and rough.
“Okay, okay,” you said, raising your hands in surrender. “I’m not here to hurt you. I just-” You hesitated. “You’re injured. Let me help.”
“I don’t need your help,” he snapped, though the tremor in his voice betrayed his weakness.
You frowned. “Well, tough. You look like you can barely move, and I’m not just going to leave you out here to bleed out.”
His glare didn’t soften, but he didn’t argue, either. Taking his silence as reluctant permission, you carefully slipped an arm under him and helped him to his feet-or what you assumed were his feet. His entire body was tense against yours, and he flinched at every movement, his lips pulling back in a grimace.
“What’s your name?” you asked as you helped him limp toward the cabin.
He didn’t answer.
“Fine. I’ll just call you ‘Shadow,’ then,” you muttered, glancing at the distinctive streaks in his fur.
His ears twitched slightly, but he said nothing.
Shadow was… difficult, to say the least. He spent the first few days glaring at you from the couch, refusing most of your offers to help. He wouldn’t tell you what had happened to him, though the scars on his arms and the haunted look in his eyes told you enough to know it hadn’t been good.
“You’re wasting your time,” he said one night as you tried to convince him to let you change his bandages.
“No, I’m not,” you replied, your voice firm. “You’re alive, Shadow. That means you have a chance to… I don’t know, do something with that life. If I get to keep living after everything that happened, then so do you.”
He didn’t respond, but his glare softened just a fraction.
You quickly learned to navigate his boundaries. He didn’t like being touched, flinching away any time your hands got too close. Baths were out of the question; the mere suggestion of submerging him in water made him go rigid, his expression tight with barely concealed panic. He didn’t explain why, but the look in his eyes was enough to tell you it was more than just a dislike.
Shadow wasn’t much of a talker, but you filled the silence for both of you. You talked about the cabin, the forest, the stack of movies you planned to get through- whatever came to mind. He watched you warily, like he was waiting for a trap to spring, but you could see the way his ears twitched when something caught his interest.
He still refused help with his injuries, so you had to get creative. You left bandages on the coffee table, along with antiseptic and a small bowl of water. You caught him using them once, late at night when he thought you were asleep, muttering curses under his breath as he fumbled with the wrappings. You pretended not to notice the next day, but left extra supplies out anyway.
One evening, after clearing the dinner plates, you found yourself scrolling through YouTube on your laptop. Shadow sat on the couch, his arms crossed and his expression as stony as ever.
“Have you ever seen cat videos?” you asked, glancing at him.
“No.”
His tone was flat, but you could swear his ears twitched.
“Okay, you’re in for a treat.”
You clicked on a compilation of kittens doing ridiculous things- falling off furniture, chasing lasers, and leaping straight into walls. Shadow didn’t react at first, but as the video went on, you noticed the tiniest shift in his posture.
“This is stupid,” he muttered, but there was no bite in his voice.
“Stupidly adorable,” you corrected, grinning.
The next video was about parkour, showcasing humans flipping and jumping across rooftops with almost superhuman precision. Shadow watched intently, his eyes narrowing.
“They’re untrained,” he said.
You raised an eyebrow. “Untrained? They’re flipping off buildings!”
“Sloppy landings,” he replied, pointing out a particular freeze frame. “They’re not conserving energy.”
By the time you clicked on a video about world-record chili pepper eaters, Shadow had shifted to sit a little closer, his gaze flicking between the screen and your face.
“I don’t understand modern humans,” he admitted after a while. “Your priorities are… strange.”
“You don’t need to understand us to laugh at us,” you said. “That’s half the fun.”
And for a split second, you thought you saw the corner of his mouth twitch upward.
Over the next few days, the two of you fell into a rhythm. Shadow was still guarded, but he began spending more time in the main room instead of retreating to the corner like a wounded animal. You started sharing more of your world with him, using movies and YouTube videos to explain things that might otherwise be overwhelming.
One night, you put on an old sci-fi movie. Shadow sat stiffly at first, his arms crossed, but as the plot unfolded, he began asking questions.
“That ship’s trajectory doesn’t make sense,” he pointed out during a chase scene.
“It’s not supposed to make sense. It’s fun,” you replied.
“Poorly designed fun,” he said, but he kept watching anyway.
By the time the credits rolled, you were bickering over which character was the smartest. Shadow defended the antihero, arguing that their cold logic was a strength, while you rooted for the idealistic protagonist.
“Idealism gets you killed,” he said bluntly.
“Sometimes it saves the world,” you shot back.
He didn’t answer, but his expression softened, and you realized he might actually be enjoying himself.
The next morning, as you prepared breakfast, you decided to rope Shadow into cooking with you. He was reluctant at first, standing stiffly by the counter with his arms crossed.
“This is pointless,” he said as you handed him a bowl of eggs to whisk.
“It’s called being productive,” you replied. “Besides, I’m not feeding you for free.”
He muttered something under his breath but took the bowl anyway. His whisking was surprisingly precise, and when you commented on it, he gave a small shrug.
“I’ve handled more complex machinery,” he said.
“Whisking eggs is complex now?”
He glared at you, but there was no heat in it. “You know what I mean.”
As the two of you worked, you found yourself relaxing in his presence. There was something oddly domestic about the sight of Shadow chopping vegetables with laser-like focus. When you burned the toast, he smirked.
“Untrained,” he said, echoing his earlier critique of the parkour video.
You tossed a dishtowel at him, laughing despite yourself.
It took time, but Shadow eventually allowed you to help with his bandages. The first time you reached for his arm, he stiffened, his crimson eyes narrowing.
“I just want to help,” you said softly, holding the fresh bandages in plain view. “You’ve been doing this alone for a while, haven’t you?”
He didn’t answer, but he didn’t pull away, either. Slowly, carefully, you unwound the old wrappings, your fingers brushing against his fur. His muscles were taut, like he was bracing for something, but he stayed still.
“You’re healing,” you said, trying to fill the silence. “Not as fast as you probably could if you’d let yourself rest more, but still.”
He snorted softly, but there was no malice in it.
The day you broached the subject of a bath, you might as well have suggested dragging him back to whatever horrors he'd escaped from.
“You need one,” you insisted, gesturing toward the grime clinging to his fur. Weeks of dirt, dried blood, and debris were taking their toll. “You’ll feel better.”
Shadow’s expression darkened, his arms crossing defensively. “No.”
“It’s not like I’m asking you to take a bubble bath,” you said, trying to keep your tone light. “I just think you’d feel more comfortable after-”
“I said no!” His voice came out sharper than usual, almost a growl, and his crimson eyes flared with warning.
You raised your hands in surrender. “Okay. Not a bath, then. But at least let me clean you up. You’re tracking dirt everywhere.”
For a moment, you thought he might argue further, but instead, he exhaled slowly and gave a small, reluctant nod.
You grabbed a comb, a basin of warm water, and a washcloth, sitting on the cabin floor beside him.
He remained rigid, seated on the couch, watching your every move like you were preparing to attack.
“Relax,” you said gently, dipping the washcloth into the water. “I’m not going to hurt you.”
Shadow didn’t respond, but his posture didn’t soften, either. As you reached up and began combing through his fur, he flinched at the first touch, his muscles coiling under your hands.
“Sorry,” you murmured, slowing your movements. The comb caught on a knot, and you worked it loose carefully. “Does this bother you?”
He was silent for a long time, his gaze fixed on the wall as if trying to focus on something-anything-other than your hands.
Finally, in a low voice, he muttered, “I don’t like water.”
You glanced at the basin, confused. “You mean the bath? Or…?”
“Being submerged,” he clarified, his tone clipped. “It reminds me of the testing. The tanks. The needles.”
Your hands froze mid-motion, and your heart clenched at the quiet bitterness in his voice. You didn’t press for more details, but you could picture it: confined spaces, cold metal, and water deep enough to drown in, all designed to break him down.
“I’m sorry,” you said softly, resuming your work but keeping your movements slow and deliberate. “I didn’t know.”
He didn’t reply, but the stiffness in his shoulders eased ever so slightly. As you worked, you decided to fill the silence, hoping to distract him from the memories you’d unknowingly stirred.
“Did you know we have robots now that vacuum floors by themselves?” you said, trying to keep the conversation light. “They just wander around, bumping into things until the place is clean. It’s kind of ridiculous.”
Shadow glanced at you out of the corner of his eye. “That sounds inefficient.”
“It is, but people love them anyway,” you said with a small laugh. “They even give them names, like ‘Roomba’ or Stabby.’”
“That’s idiotic,” he muttered, but there was a flicker of interest in his tone.
You smiled and continued combing, occasionally using the damp cloth to wipe away the grime. As you worked, you talked about other things- smartphones, online shopping, the absurdity of meme culture. You explained how humans seemed to revel in making the mundane entertaining, and to your surprise, Shadow started asking questions.
“How do these… memes work?” he asked cautiously, as though the word itself was foreign to him.
“Oh, where do I even start?” you said, grinning. “They’re kind of like inside jokes, but the whole internet is in on them. Here, I’ll show you some later.”
Shadow huffed softly, but he didn’t object.
The knots in his fur took time to untangle, and the process was slow, but you could tell he was beginning to relax. The tension in his frame lessened with every careful stroke of the comb, and by the time you were done, he almost looked comfortable.
“There,” you said, sitting back to admire your work. His fur, though still patchy in places from old scars, gleamed faintly in the soft cabin light. “Much better.”
Shadow’s gaze lowered to inspect himself. For a brief moment, he seemed almost puzzled, as though he didn’t quite recognize the reflection of his former self.
“You didn’t have to do this,” he said quietly, his usual gruffness muted.
“No, but I wanted to,” you replied, setting the comb aside. “Everyone deserves to feel like themselves. Even you.”
Shadow’s crimson eyes flicked toward you, and for the first time, the weight in his gaze seemed lighter. He didn’t say thank you, but the slight dip of his head was enough to tell you he appreciated it.
As you cleaned up the supplies, Shadow remained on the couch, his expression unreadable. You weren’t sure if you’d made a dent in his walls, but for now, this was enough. It wasn’t about fixing him or changing him- it was about showing him that someone cared, even if he wasn’t ready to accept it yet.
You had spent the past hour setting up for your little stargazing picnic: a thick blanket spread out over the grassy clearing near the cabin, a thermos of hot chocolate, a small lantern, and, of course, a few snacks. You had expected Shadow to dismiss the idea as "unnecessary human indulgence," but to your surprise, he hadn’t objected when you told him to come along.
The stars were brilliant tonight, scattered across the velvet sky like shards of crystal.
You were just about to point out a particularly bright constellation when a rustling sound came from the edge of the clearing. Pausing mid-sentence, you glanced toward the noise. It was faint at first, just the soft crunch of leaves, but then you spotted movement- several small, shadowy figures creeping toward the edge of your blanket.
“Raccoons,” you muttered, watching as one bold little thief waddled closer to your snack bag.
Shadow followed your gaze, his eyes narrowing as the furry intruders approached. One raccoon reached for the bag, its tiny paws tugging at the edge of the plastic.
“Hey! Shoo!” you called, waving your hands in an attempt to scare it off. The raccoon ignored you entirely, its determination unwavering.
Shadow rose smoothly to his feet, his presence immediately commanding. “They’re scavengers,” he said, his tone flat but with a hint of amusement. “Persistent ones.”
Before you could respond, Shadow moved toward the raccoons with an ease that bordered on predatory. Despite his usually intimidating demeanor, he didn’t make any sudden movements. Instead, he crouched slightly, his crimson eyes locking onto the nearest raccoon.
“Leave,” he said simply, his voice low and firm.
The raccoon froze, its tiny paws still clutching the snack bag. Shadow took one deliberate step forward, his posture relaxed but unmistakably in control. The raccoon hesitated, then let out a chittering noise and backed away.
The others seemed to take the hint, retreating one by one into the underbrush, their rustling fading into the night. Shadow straightened, brushing his hands together as though the matter had been entirely routine.
“Well, that was effective,” you said, grinning as he returned to the blanket.
“They’re opportunistic,” Shadow replied, sitting down beside you once more. “All it takes is a stronger presence to remind them of their place.”
“Stronger presence, huh? Should I start calling you the Raccoon Whisperer?”
He shot you a sharp look, but you caught the faintest twitch of his lips before he turned his gaze back to the stars.
You leaned back, stretching out on the blanket with a contented sigh. “Thanks for saving the snacks, by the way. I guess I owe you one.”
“You owe me nothing,” he said quietly, his voice soft against the backdrop of the night.
For a moment, the two of you sat in comfortable silence, the only sound the faint chirp of crickets.
A few nights later, you were sprawled on the couch, scrolling through your phone, when you noticed Shadow standing nearby. His posture was stiff, as always, but there was something different about him tonight- an awkwardness you couldn’t quite place.
“You’ve been hovering there for the past five minutes,” you said, raising an eyebrow. “Something on your mind?”
Shadow hesitated, his crimson eyes narrowing slightly as though he was reconsidering whatever he’d been about to say. Finally, he cleared his throat.
“I have… prepared something,” he said, his voice unusually formal. “As an expression of-“ he paused, visibly struggling to find the words. “Gratitude. For your… companionship.”
You blinked, lowering your phone.
“Wait, did you just call me your companion? Are we about to embark on a grand quest or something?”
Shadow shot you a look, but as always his usual glare lacked an edge. Instead of responding, he reached behind himself and revealed a small piece of paper. He handed it to you with the kind of precision that suggested he’d been planning this moment for far too long. Curious, you took the paper and unfolded it.
What greeted you was not some dramatic declaration or poetic verse- no, it was a crudely drawn meme.
The image, clearly printed from a computer, featured a cartoonish drawing of Shadow’s crimson-eyed silhouette standing stiffly in the corner. Above it, in bold, all-caps font, were the words: "WHEN YOU DON’T KNOW HOW TO SAY THANKS, SO YOU MAKE A MEME INSTEAD."
You stared at the paper, processing it for a moment before bursting into laughter. “Wait- did you make this?”
Shadow crossed his arms, his expression a mix of pride and irritation. “Yes. It seemed… appropriate.”
“Oh my god,” you wheezed, wiping a tear from your eye. “Shadow, this is amazing. I’m just imagining you sitting there, typing ‘how to make a meme’ into a search engine.”
“I research,” he said stiffly, looking slightly to the side. “It is not difficult to grasp the basics of modern human humor.”
You held the meme closer, letting your laughter fade into a warm smile. “Thanks, Shadow. Seriously. This is… oddly thoughtful.”
He gave a small nod, still not meeting your gaze. “You have been… tolerable company,” he muttered. “Perhaps even enjoyable. At times.”
You couldn’t help but laugh again, folding the paper carefully and tucking it into your pocket.
“For what it’s worth, you’re not so bad yourself. Maybe I’ll hang this up on the fridge.”
Shadow frowned. “The refrigerator is not an appropriate place for-”
“Too late,” you said, grinning. “I’m framing it. It’s a masterpiece.”
Shadow sighed, but as he turned away, you caught the faintest trace of a smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
I saw that you write for Sonic The Hedgehog and that you don’t seem to mind writing for human readers…. I was wondering if I could ask for Yandere Sonic, Silver and Shadow with a human reader who thinks that romance between mobians and humans are weird and would refuse to date a mobian. How would the yanderes react to this?
(If your comfortable with this of course 😅)
No it's ok. It's a really cool idea!
(Hedgehog Trio?) x Human!Gn!Reader
I hope I actually did this good and it isn't cringy 😛 (also sorry if it accidentally says reader is female)
Ok, so I'ma give a bit of context first: So (your chosen hedgie) and you were chatting like ya normally do together, and something comes up when you say dating a Mobian is weird.
Sonic: "Uhhh, okay?"
Very nonchalant about it.
Plays it off acting like it doesn't bother him, but it actually does.
Really doesn't care about your opinion on this, like, AT ALL.
Possesive hedgie will be definitely acting more romantic around you.
Ya know, because your his either way
Constantly asks you out to dates in a discreet way.
"Hey (Y/N), wanna go eat with me for dinner tonight. Ya know, as pals."
I feel like he would trick you into dating him in a way where you actually don't know you're dating
Just don't find out! There will be consequences
Shadow: just nods
Literally thinks he did something wrong.
He thought you and him had some sort of romantic tension around each other (or FORCED himself to believe that)
And now you say this?
Actually gets kinda upset at you for a bit. (Slightly ignoring you and stuff)
Keeps the grudge ™
Thinks your dating another Mobian and telling him this so he doesn't find out.
Next time you see him, he's definitely going to be interrogating you.
All in all, don't do anything edgy boi doesn't know about.
Silver: tries to rack his brain if he can go back in time to when you was a baby and groom you into thinking that romanticizing about Mobians is fine 👍🏽™
Udder shock.
Bro actually thought you romantically liked him (he may or may not be delusional)
Thought about going back in time to see if it's possible for him to change your mind.
Or erase the conversation.
Either way, he is definitely going to be asking a lot of 'why's' and if you've dated any Mobian before him.
Becomes more clingy and possessive than usual.
Bro is snarling at every Mobian you pass by, every Mobian you interact with, every Mobian you breathe the same air with.
Goes to his friend's to see if they may know the answer to why you are against that (if you didn't answer him)
May ask you again and again constantly "Would you date a Mobian"
To make sure if your mind changes
The little town seemed plucked straight out of a snow globe. Rows of quaint timber-framed shops, their rooftops blanketed with snow, lined the cobblestone streets. Wreaths adorned every door, strings of golden lights looped from lampposts, and the scent of roasted chestnuts and spiced cider wafted through the crisp air. Silver and you strolled side by side, your breath visible in soft puffs as you took in the festive scene.
Silver adjusted his scarf, glancing down at you with a small, content smile. The lights reflected in his emerald eyes, giving him an almost ethereal glow. “This place is amazing,” he murmured, his voice soft but filled with awe.
“Isn’t it?” you replied, spinning in a circle to take it all in. “I love how everything feels so alive, like the whole town is celebrating together.”
The two of you wandered toward the bustling Christmas market, a maze of wooden stalls brimming with holiday treasures. Each booth seemed to tell its own story—one sold handmade candles in scents like pine and cinnamon, while another offered colorful woolen scarves and mittens. A nearby vendor was carving tiny figurines out of ice, his skilled hands moving with precision despite the cold.
“Oh, look at that!” you said, tugging Silver toward a stand displaying jars of sparkling snow globes. You picked one up and shook it, watching as tiny flecks of glitter swirled around a miniature village scene inside.
Silver leaned closer to observe, his hand brushing yours as he steadied the globe. “It’s like holding a little piece of this town,” he said softly, his tone filled with wonder.
You grinned, setting the globe back down. “Maybe you should get one, then. A way to remember today.”
He chuckled, scratching the back of his neck. “I think just being here is something I won’t forget.”
Further down the street, the two of you passed a bakery where the windows were fogged with warmth. The display was filled with gingerbread houses, their frosting decorations so detailed they looked like real cottages. The smell of freshly baked pastries made your stomach rumble, and you couldn’t resist pulling Silver inside.
The bakery was cozy and bustling, with shelves lined with loaves of bread, trays of cookies, and steaming pots of hot chocolate. A friendly baker greeted you, offering a tray of free samples. You eagerly grabbed a tiny cinnamon roll, savoring the sweetness as you turned to Silver.
“Try this,” you said, holding one up for him. He hesitated for a moment before leaning down, taking the bite you offered. His eyes widened slightly, and he nodded in approval.
“That’s really good,” he admitted, his cheeks tinting pink—not from the cold, but from the closeness of the moment.
After leaving the bakery, you found yourselves in front of a toy store, its window display filled with plush animals and colorful trains. A group of children pressed their noses against the glass, their laughter ringing through the air.
Silver paused, watching them with a soft smile. “It’s nice, seeing everyone so happy.”
You nodded, slipping your hand into his without thinking. “It really is. It’s like the holidays bring out the best in everyone.”
Your touch startled him, but he didn’t pull away. Instead, his fingers curled gently around yours, his warmth a comforting contrast to the chill in the air.
As the evening went on, the two of you explored more shops—a tiny bookstore where the owner’s cat dozed on the counter, a craft store filled with handmade ornaments, and a quaint apothecary selling herbal teas and scented sachets. Each place felt like a treasure trove, and you found yourself drawn to the little details—the soft hum of holiday music in the background, the way the shopkeepers greeted you with warm smiles, and the simple joy of sharing the experience with Silver.
Eventually, as snow began to fall more steadily, the two of you found yourselves walking down a quieter street. “Any idea what you want for Christmas?” Silver asked, glancing down at you with a soft smile. His breath puffed out in visible clouds, and his silver fur seemed to catch the glow of the lights, making him look even more radiant than usual.
You grinned, your breath hitching slightly as you adjusted the scarf wrapped snugly around your neck. “Silver, I can’t tell you that. You have to guess!”
His ears twitched, and he tilted his head in thought. “Guess? How am I supposed to—”
“Imagination, my dear hedgehog!” you interrupted, laughing as you spun on your heels, gesturing dramatically at the market stalls lining the street.
He chuckled, the sound light and genuine. “Alright, fine. Let me think.” His gaze wandered over the nearby shops, his expression growing serious as he genuinely pondered the challenge.
As you walked, the two of you passed a stall selling handcrafted ornaments. You paused, admiring the delicate work—intricate glass figurines of snowflakes, reindeer, and stars, all painted with shimmering colors that caught the light beautifully. Silver noticed your fascination and stepped closer.
“These are incredible,” you murmured, reaching out to gently touch one shaped like a crescent moon. The cold glass felt smooth under your fingertips, and you smiled softly, imagining how it would look on a tree.
Silver watched you with quiet intensity, his green eyes flicking between your expression and the ornament. “Do you want it?” he asked after a moment.
You blinked and turned to him, shaking your head quickly. “Oh, no. I was just looking. It’s beautiful, but I don’t need it.”
He frowned slightly, but before you could protest further, he handed the vendor a few coins and carefully picked up the moon ornament. Turning back to you, he held it out with both hands, his cheeks slightly pink. “Here. I want you to have it.”
Your heart swelled at the gesture, and you hesitated for a moment before taking it. “Silver… Thank you. It’s perfect.”
The two of you continued strolling through the market, the glow of the lanterns and the twinkle of lights making the evening feel almost surreal. Silver seemed to relax as the evening wore on, his usual shyness giving way to a playful curiosity as you explored the stalls.
At one booth, you found a set of carved wooden figurines shaped like little forest animals. Silver picked up a tiny hedgehog, holding it up with a grin. “This one looks just like you.”
You laughed, nudging him playfully. “And this one must be you,” you said, holding up a sleek silver fox.
“Silver the Fox? I don’t think it has the same ring to it,” he replied, laughing as he put the figurine back.
As the snow began to fall heavier, the two of you ducked into a cozy café at the end of the street. The warmth of the fireplace inside was immediate and soothing, and the scent of cinnamon and cocoa wrapped around you like a comforting blanket. The café was decorated with wreaths and garlands, and a small Christmas tree stood in the corner, its lights twinkling merrily.
You and Silver found a small table near the window, and soon you were both sipping on steaming mugs of hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. You sighed contentedly, gazing out at the snow-covered street.
“This is perfect,” you said softly.
Silver nodded, his gaze fixed on you rather than the view outside. “It really is.”
After finishing your drinks, the two of you made your way back outside. The town had grown quieter, but the festive lights still glowed brightly, reflecting off the freshly fallen snow. As you walked down a narrow alley lined with garlands, something caught your eye—a sprig of mistletoe hanging just above you.
You stopped, looking up at it with a sly smile. “Oh, look at that,” you said, pointing.
Silver followed your gaze, his expression shifting from curiosity to sheer panic. “Oh… uh… I mean… th-that’s… um…”
You laughed, stepping closer to him. “What’s the matter, Silver? You’re not afraid of a little tradition, are you?”
“I-I’m not afraid!” he stammered, his cheeks turning a brilliant shade of red.
“Well, then?” you teased, tilting your head playfully.
He hesitated, his green eyes darting between you and the mistletoe. You could see his hands fidgeting nervously, his usual confidence completely gone. Smiling softly, you reached up, standing on your tiptoes to gently press a kiss to his cheek. “Merry Christmas, Silver.”
He froze, his blush spreading all the way to his ears. “M-Merry Christmas,” he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper.
Taking his hand once more, you gave it a reassuring squeeze as you continued walking. The snowflakes danced around you, the town’s lights casting a warm glow over everything.
Hello! I hope I'm sending requests right, because it's rare that I do these. Could you do a Boom!Sonic going on a date with someone who's an introvert and/or has social anxiety? As someone who struggles with this myself, I'm curious to see how that would go; how he'd figure out why they're so quiet and get them out of their shell a bit. I understand if you can't take this request. If you can take your time, no rush! I hope you have a good day/night!💙
Boom!Sonic going on a date with someone who's an introvert / has social anxiety
(Boom!Sonic x Reader)
The first time meeting Sonic:
You decided to stroll around the village to get to know this new place you will now know better as your home. Then you hear screams. Running towards the sound, you see mechanical bees and crabs attacking a burger joint called “Meh Burgers.”
Ready to fight, you unsheathed your katana and used your power to speed it up. One by one, you sliced a crab swiftly with precision.
“What the..!”
You looked up to see a bald, egg-shaped headed man with a mustache way too big not to be considered comical in a floating machine.
“If it’s not one thing, it’s another. Besides, you’re not even Sonic or his other rodent friends.” The man speaking then put a hand on his chin, thinking. “Or are you? Bah! I can’t remember; who cares anyway. If you want to try and be a hero, you can go ahead and die like one. Attack them!” He pointed towards you.
Looking around, the crabs and bees started surrounding you.
“Not so fast, egghead!” Sonic ran in but then started slipping and looked down. “Ice?” His eyes followed the trail, and it ended with you—someone with a scarf covering half their face and a katana in hand. Before he can do anything, he hears you shout, “Falling snow, adorn my night!”
With a slash in the air with your katana, what looked like a snowstorm surrounded you, leaving you unharmed, unlike the robots that were once surrounding you, now being slashed and beaten around. The storm you created calmed and disappeared once all the robots were destroyed. Unaware that Sonic was stumped in place, he had awe on his face as he was still looking at you.
You just did that all on your own. Sonic has seen other people with powers but hasn’t seen anyone do something quite like what you did.
With a shout of frustration, the man you now knew as Egghead went off, “You’ll pay for that! I hope you’re ready to be paranoid for the rest of your life. Shadows in the corner of your eye, a creak in the floorboard, umm.” He scratches his head, but Sonic spin attacks the eggmobile before he can continue. “Can it already.”
“You just became my new enemy!” Egghead yells as he’s sent flying away.
Once he’s out of sight, you sigh, putting away your katana.
The purpose of going out for a walk was to relax and take a break from spending hours settling into your new home. Not even making it past day one being here, you’ve made an enemy. Granted, you’re confident you can take care of yourself, but just because you know how to fight doesn’t mean you want to go around looking for trouble on purpose.
You tense up when you feel someone tap your shoulder. You turn and see the blue hedgehog that got rid of Egghead. “Those were some sick moves there, and I didn’t even need to step in to help you. Name’s Sonic. And what’s the name of the Ice Prince/Princess.”
In retrospect, you knew off the bat he wasn’t an awful person, and he means well, but your mind shows no mercy. The way he has no problem with direct eye contact with you has you looking anywhere but him. His honest compliment gives a perfect opening to strike up a conversation and possibly make a new friend. Still, experiences of the past haunt you, making you fearful of slipping up and regret saying anything at all. And the way he asked for your name has you panicking. Did Sonic mean to make it sound flirtatious? If he did, that makes the pressure of responding even worse. If he didn’t, you’d feel like an absolute fool and start mentally berating yourself for even thinking of that. What if he called you Ice Prince/Princess because you already came across as a cold individual? You’ve had people tell you that on multiple occasions, more than you would like to admit. Even if he didn’t mean it that way, your mind leads you to these pessimistic thoughts.
He may not think that now, but what if he does later?
You knew you accidentally took too long to respond when you heard Sonic. “Umm. Are you okay?”
Great. Now, he probably thinks that something’s wrong with me.
Panicking, you couldn’t take it anymore.
Sonic is taken aback when suddenly you’re gone, but there is a frozen fog where your feet once stood, running away into an alley.
“Wait!” He tries running after you without stepping on the trail of ice. But then he comes to an intersection where a massive mess of ice and snow is left behind, and the trail has ended. It gave Sonic whiplash how every move you made during the fight looked calculated and confident, ruthless with your attacks, with a steeliness in your eyes. Still, once the fight was over, it was as if you became an entirely different person. Eyes shift anywhere but him, your thumb scratching and rubbing the handle of your blade where your hand was placed, and slight sweat begins forming on your forehead that wasn’t there when you were fighting.
Their powers consist of ice; isn’t that supposed to help with heat? Sonic thought to himself.
Disappointed, he looks around one last time before running off.
You’re grateful for this because not even a moment later, the sneeze you were holding comes out on its own. You knew you couldn't outrun him, so you caused the mess on purpose to make it seem you completely vanished when, in reality, you were hiding behind a dumpster.
How you two become friends:
If Sonic thought it would be a one-time thing, he would have been dead wrong. The few times when there was a moment when it seemed an opponent had the upper hand, you’d show up out of nowhere to help and then disappear. Of course, with this happening, Sonic’s whole gang knew about you now.
Most were convinced you were a good person, just not the best at socializing. Sticks, on the other hand, was still on edge.
But that didn’t stop Amy when she saw you coming out of a store with a bag. She instantly lit up; she and the rest of her friends hardly saw you around when they went… well, anywhere. She had a clue that you probably struggled socially, so maybe she can help you and become friends.
So she walked up to you and said, “Hello there.”
You jumped slightly in surprise before turning around, “Hi.” You felt nerves prick your hands slightly, but it seemed like thanks to the fact that you had an idea of how much of a sweetheart Amy is -as long as you didn’t purposely do or say something rude- you weren’t as skittish around her compared to the day when you first encountered Sonic.
“Thanks for helping me and my friends whenever we’re in a rough situation.”
You shook your head, “It’s no problem.”
They seem nervous yet gentle. Sonic must’ve meant this when he said they’re different when not fighting. Amy thought to herself.
“I’m sorry for always running off.” You carefully chose your following words before Amy beat you to it.
“Interacting with others is hard for you?”
Even though she asked, you can tell it was more of a statement than a question. Some of her warmth and gentleness rubbed off and made it easier to look at her as you nodded.
“How about we become friends, and I’ll slowly introduce you to everyone else?”
You’ve made some friends in the past, but sometimes life happens, and you part ways. You’ve met people in the past who you called friends, but as time passed, you noticed it seemed like they invited you into their already tight-knit group out of pity. And you’ve had people you thought were friends but made you feel small in your life.
However, for some reason, it didn’t feel like Amy was asking you out of pity. You knew she was a good person, and you couldn’t help but feel like once you said yes, there was no way she would let you drift away so easily. So you took the leap of faith and said yes.
The day you were forced to have to face Sonic was an accident. You and Amy were sitting on the couch talking about who she should introduce you to when Sonic just barged in, and his sight landed on you, forgetting what he was initially there for.
“It’s you!” He ran and sat next to you. “Talk about a cold shoulder. You’re hanging out with Amy but don’t have enough time to spare for me? I’m hurt.” He says dramatically, his hands clutching the area where his heart is.
“Sonic.” Amy chides. Annoyed already that things aren’t going the way she hoped. She wanted to talk to her friends about your social anxiety and introvert tendencies before they talk to you.
“It’s fine, Amy.” You assured her. If Sonic is still making jokes with you, then maybe that means he didn’t take you running off multiple times as an offense. “I’m sorry for always running away. I’m not the best at talking to people, so please don’t think it’s something personal.”
Sonic waves you off as he lays back with his arms behind his head and his feet propped up on the table. “It’s fine, I get it. You couldn’t look at or talk to me; you started fidgeting with your sword, sweating, and running away. So that means despite being able to produce ice at will, you just couldn’t stay cool enough not to have the hots for me. Am I right, or am I right?”
You swear you felt yourself malfunctioning at that moment, “What?”
Amy smacked Sonic’s feet off the table so hard he almost fell off from where he was sitting.
“Sonic.” Her tone of warning.
“Yes, I heard you the first time; I don’t have amnesia; I know my name, Amy.”
You thank whatever gods are up there that you wear a scarf.
Sonic helping you out of your comfort zone:
Amy would inform him about what she’s learned from you about your social anxiety. He does like you. Even though he tends to be blunt, rude, and shortsighted about others' feelings, being around you might help him become more considerate of others' emotions.
But he is not perfect, so don’t expect him to be 100% a saint.
Sonic decided to take over introductions as his duty as a hero of the people. Or so he says.
Did Amy agree? No.
Does Sonic care? No.
When the day came, you decided you were ready to meet the next person in their group; Sonic was ecstatic for you to meet his best friend, Tails. He told you to wait home, and he’d bring him over. He did not tell you that they were both coming over on hoverboards.
You couldn’t help but notice how much fun they looked.
“You’re (Y/n), yes? Sonic said you’ll be joining us today.” The fox you assume is Tails comes up next to you with a hoverboard in one arm before handing it over to you.
Before you can say that you don’t know how to ride one, Tails continues, “Don’t think that just because you never knew before means you still can’t learn now. I’ll teach you.”
As silly as it may sound, you can’t help but feel like you just gained a younger brother.
And that’s how Sonic was getting you comfortable with meeting more of his friends, making these outings fun enough for you to forget about society and live in the moment.
The moment he knew he was in love with you:
Shadow was attacking you and your friends. Well, now, only you since he knocked out the rest. Amy already sent a request for backup from Sonic before she passed out. You were doing the best you could to hold out. You can parry some attacks and sense when he teleports, but the problem is his speed. You can cloak yourself into a frozen fog when he runs at you, but he can still get a few hits. You’ve only been able to do more defense moves than offense. You can use your ability to go faster, but it’s not super speed like Sonic.
When you were wondering if you might fail your friends, Sonic arrived. And when the battle was over, you stood in silence for a moment when, for some reason, a giggle left your lips. Which then turned into laughter.
Sonic asked if you were okay when he saw how you looked.
Your scarf had fallen off from your fight with Shadow, showing your face for the first time. Your smile was big yet still held a gentleness like your voice.
And your laughter.
Whenever you laughed before, it was usually just a closed-mouth giggle. The most Sonic could get out of you was when you placed your hand over your scarf where your mouth was to keep yourself from bursting out. But now here you are. Laughing out loud unapologetically without holding back.
You looked beautiful even with a messy hairstyle, dirtied clothes, and bruises. There was a sunset with a chaotic mess of ice surrounding you.
An ice-ability user with a warm heart.
“After everything we’ve been through, I have no idea how we’re still alive; it makes no sense!” You laughed. Your laughter started feeling contagious to Sonic, and he joined in.
How he would confess to you:
As much as Sonic makes it seem like he’s not a sappy person when he puts in the work, he’s exposed as actually being a softy. He wants to make this special, and he does.
You feel drained and desperately need to recharge. You care and love your friends, but if you don’t care for yourself when you feel this way, you start getting irritated and feel a bit snappy. You’ve done a good job holding back from doing or saying anything you know you don’t mean, but it still scares you now and then that it might happen one day. Yes, arguments have happened amongst your friends, but you try your best to be the neutral side.
Saying your goodbyes, you head home. However, once you are away from your friends, Sonic runs beside you. “I made plans today for just the two of us.”
“I’m sorry, Sonic, but I’m not in the mood for anything hectic right now.”
Sonic panicked, “You’re going home to rest up, right? Well, it just so happens that my plans involve both of us just slowing down for once.”
You blinked. “Did I hear that correctly? Sonic T. Hedgehog, ‘the fastest being alive,’ Mr. ‘can’t be tamed,’ Mr. ‘can’t slow down’ has made plans to take it easy for once? Is it the end of the world?” You then poked his shoulder. “Is this secretly Metal Sonic with a new upgrade from Dr. Eggman? A new ploy to let our guard down and destroy everything on Seaside Island?”
“Ha ha, very funny. You know, you’re starting to sound like Sticks,” He took your hand to hold in his and started leading you away. “Don’t underestimate me. I can be unpredictable when I want to be—slowing down? No problem. We’ll start by just walking down to Meh Burgers. No running.”
“I look forward to seeing if you can back up your words.”
“Challenge accepted.”
Sure enough, you and Sonic walked to Meh Burgers hand in hand without running. Before you mentally prepare to speak to the cashier, Sonic says, “You can go ahead and find us a table; I’ll order.”
“Are you sure?”
“It’s not a problem for me.” He waved, reassuring you before he walked away.
You find a table to sit at and wait for Sonic. Unfortunately, your mind starts to take a cynical path. You chose a table that you hoped seemed inconspicuous, but it still doesn’t change the fact that there’s not really a hiding spot in an open area like this.
Did you stand out negatively? Why does it feel like a giant neon light is pointing at you? Is there someone here talking about how weird you stick out? Are some of them pitying you, thinking you’re eating here alone?
Distracted by your overwhelming thoughts, you don’t sense Sonic arriving with the food. “Everybody else is busy in their own world.” You jump slightly, hearing his voice. “If you listen closely, you can hear them talking about something they got going on.” He says as he places down the tray.
When you listen, you hear conversations about visiting family, going to a theatre, and shopping. Your thoughts and emotions slow, and you feel like you can breathe properly. You miss Sonic's gentle smile before he changes the subject to something he knows makes you happy and allows your mind to drift away from negative thoughts.
You and Sonic are walking hands together to the beach. Sonic has seen more than enough sunsets, but this time, he needs it now more than ever to help ease his nerves and confess to you.
Sitting down, you noticed that something was off with him, but instead of asking immediately, you decided to watch the sunset and wait awhile for him to hopefully feel comfortable enough to talk about it—emphasis on hopefully.
He takes a breath before taking out a Starfruit, “Do you want to share?”
Others may think it's a small gesture; however, you recall reading a story and telling Sonic about a scene where a character mentions that if two people share one, their destinies become intertwined. They will remain a part of each other's lives no matter what.
Your heartbeat quickens, and your face warms up, but not because of anxiety.
He knew you needed to rest and recharge, so the fastest person alive slowed down for you. He also knew how nice-looking restaurants make you paranoid about whether you're overdressed or underdressed and whether you're showing proper etiquette, so he took you to a burger joint. He knows how you rehearse every interaction with a cashier multiple times in your head so you don't screw up and make a fool out of yourself, so he went and did it for you. He noticed that your mind had taken over and nearly drowned you with your thoughts, and he helped pull you out. And right now, in this moment, he remembered a small detail in a story you’ve only talked about once.
“I’m not the best at talking about my feelings, but I hope you know what I’m trying to say.”
For once, without a doubt, you hold Sonic’s free hand by the wrist to gently pull it towards you and use an index finger to draw a heart.
Sonic lets out a breath of relief before whispering, “That’s good.” He had a big smile on his face.
A/N: Did I give the reader similar powers of Kazuha and Ayaka from Genshin Impact? Yes, I did. Did I make reference to The Case Study of Vanitas? Yes, I did. Did I also make a reference to Kingdom Hearts? Yes, I did. Do I regret any of it? No 😈😂
