I love your 'The Gray and the Black' idea plot. Wonder how would canon react to it if it was written in a reaction fic... 👀

If we're talking the Trolls cast, I think they would forget the fact that Terios is Branch's reincarnation like by the time maria was shot, simply because of how different the sonic canon is. They can probably disassociate it, like a fictional movie, until Branch's death becomes relevant to the plot again. However, the whole time they are glued to that reaction. I mean the trolls world is very colorful and can get really dark, however they have nothing on the eldrich horrors that mobius has. So many evil gods on that planet.

I think at first Branch might be a little jealous, like yeah Teri lost his eye, but he has a loving older sister, an old scientist, and twin brother whom never leaves on purpose. It's a weird family, but it's stable...until it isn't and all Branch can do is empathize. Watching Maria die, to save her brothers...it's horrifying and they are seeing it from this detached POV. Branch has lived through that type of grief. it sucks and it messes people up. Watching Shadow spiral after fifty years of stasis, is hard, plus seeing the Gerald's betrayal, messing with Shadow's mind, it makes Branch mad. Because Shadow didn't need that extra pain of seeing a false memory of Terios's death. Everyone weeps when Shadow falls after the battle with the bioliazard.

Black Doom is just straight up nightmare fuel. Black Arms attack planets, paralyzing the local lifeforms before eating them alive. It's almost impossible to believe that Teri is related to this guy. Eclipse is easier to love, he's just a little guy who is too young to know any better. And Terios makes sure he learns.

John would likely get frustrated with himself for thinking Sonic was Branch's reincarnation, like Their brother is right there!!!!! But no one can see it!!!!!

If we're talking Sonic reacting. I think Shadow would thrown for more then a loop, and possibly questioning if a Terios variant could exist given how many secrets the prof kept. And is definitely recognizing about how to handle Eclipse.

As for HC, I have a lot of weird/stupid ones, but really, I don't write them down, it's more based on how they perceive/interact the world around them, so I'm really bad at answering this directly. But Sonic making music and Shadow being cuddly under the right circumstances is top 5. Please don't bully me.

Branch meet Terios, how would that introduction go?

Well first thing they notice about each other is the size difference. Mobians average out around three feet tall, while trolls at most get a few inches counting hair length. Branch can easily fit in Teri's hand.

If they were told that they shared a soul, I think they would compare lives. Which while they do have a few things in common, having brothers and loving music/engineering, they are still very different people. Terios is the eldest in his family, rather then the youngest. Branch was part of a band while teri has too much stage fright for that. Terios' bio father is the leader of a people eating race, while branch was part of the people getting eaten.

If the topic of Maria and grandma rosiepuff came up they'd support each other in shared trumua, even if they need to explain what gun and what a bergen is to each other. Brothers are brought up, and terios is pissed off on branch's behalf like...Eclipse was in s similar situation as branch after the second black comet was blown up, teri wasn't going to leave his half brother alone. After hearing this Branch reassures that teri did the right thing.

Tldr: they'd get along. With some prompting.

Actually, I do like these two. But there could be a little tiny bit of improvements.

I like the on going gag of, “Dingo doesn’t have thoughts.” I like their voices. There's a lot of stuff i like about them. They just seem like two silly canines that make Robotnik very angry >:C

They are definitely part of the Eggman Empire in my modern AU.

So overall, I don’t dislike them, I just personally think there could be improvements for them.
