Hey all, back with another pinball track!

This one has more of a driving feel, with that GBA chiptune bass special driving it all forward. The square wave in the melody is a little jarring, reminding me of beating the little silver pinball against the bonus bumpers. The dissonance of the chromatic wandering of the melody against the static bass harmony does build into a resolution, featuring that beautiful, crunchy GBA sampled horns. It's a cute little loop that is very "gamey" sounding--like you're just a couple slots away from hitting the jackpot. It definitely fits!

I love all three of the Advances, so it's hardly a light choice for me to make, but if I'm forced to choose, then I'm gonna go with 2 since I feel it's the most well-rounded of the three... for the most part.

I feel like there's been a significant missed opportunity by not making a legit Sonic pinball table.

I don't mean like Spinball or Pinball Party, but...like...an actual physical pinball table with flippers and bumpers and shit.

Pinball's going through a bit of a revival period and there are some new manufacturers popping up, so I think a pinball table would be a perfect extension of the current Sonic merchandising boom. There are endless possibilities for design elements based off of the franchise's history. The ball could represent Sonic himself trying to escape the Pinball Fortress from the Spinball game. The playfield could feature one of the trademark loop-de-loops and you could try hitting it over and over again for big scores, or plastic representations of franchise bosses that pop out of the table for special modes and the player can hit them a certain number of times to defeat them. The video mode could be Tails in the Tornado trying to shoot down Badniks and coming to Sonic's rescue.

I'm sorry, I just really like pinball.
