Just curious, what requests do you have in your queue/to do currently? If you're ok with saying it that is :]
Oh boy, that's a bigger question than last time someone asked! I have over 200 waiting requests at this point!! Because of that this got very very long, so I put the rest under the cut! Like last time, this is in order of how recently I received the request, and doesn't mean I'm too busy to take new requests!!

About my Criminal Minds DR
Tumblr media
Full name: Gagak (Yes, that's it. I was born in Java, Indonesia, in this DR)
My nicknames: Corvid/ae/ (most of the team), Raden Mas (most of the world), Bird boy (Luke), The Crow (film fans)
My faceclaim: LØREN
Gender identity: Cis-male
Orientation: Demi-romantic/sexual
Age upon first shift: 20
More about me and changes I made below the cut <3
Tumblr media
My style:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I wasn't going to have this kind of style, as evidenced by my previous post about this DR, but I read through one (1!) fanfiction series about cowboy!reader x Criminal Minds yesterday and… Also, for some reason, black, red, and white were thee colors when I was making the wardrobe section on this Pinterest board? I blame my top #6 video game characters: Ash (King of Fighters), Iori (KOF), Rock (also, KOF), Shadow (Sonic), Skarlet (MK), and Vice (KOF, again). Ahaha, guess what my favorite video game is 🤔 Anyway, RDR2 outfit pic creds to user @/kaddishaun on Pinterest!
Tumblr media
Fun facts about me and my life:
Youngest FBI informant a month after moving to the US (subsequently also a month after I turned 10), I'm sort of replacing White Boy Rick in a sense, but without the bad ending and horrible father figure.
Officially joined the FBI at age 11 once I got dual citizenship for the US and Indonesia (yes, I know that's not possible in this reality).
IQ of 304 because I'm an attention whore 😀.
Tallest person ever, as per usual, "only" 9'3 this time, though.
Youngest person to graduate high school, age five at SMA Taruna Nusantara
Youngest person to ever graduate college, age six, via an accelerated course thanks to a 127-page dissertation on serial killers that earned me my first PhD, one in Criminal Justice, at the University of Indonesia.
Besides my first PhD, I have twelve others, one in Chemistry, another in Computer and Information Sciences, then Cybersecurity, Engineering, Mathematics, Pharmacology, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration, and Statistics.
Took the CTY entry exam, after it was mailed to me, and aced it, but they originally said I would have to move to Maryland, which I simply refused to do, so I almost turned it down before my parents mailed them a letter back asking if I could do dual enrollment and they'd, as rich people, pay for the transport of my schoolwork to and from our estate in Java, and it was not a surprise when the school board agreed.
When I first opened my eyes in the emergency room, my dad was holding me, and he was wearing a jade necklace, one long enough for me to reach out and grab—I did so, though, my grip wasn't very strong. As such, my mother suggested I be named after the jewel, but my grandfather, who recently visited Banggai, suggested the name Gagak, meaning crow, and my parents liked that better.
I spoke for the first time at 4 weeks and four days, simply said the word "shiny," and grabbed at my great aunt's pearl earring. This further reinforced for my family that my name was meant to be.
It's rude to call an Indonesian person by their full first name, so most have nicknames, and, my first name being what it is, my nickname wasn't hard for Spencer the team to think up.
Unit chief of the BAU since Hotch and Jack went into Witness Protection
I can speak, write, and comprehend all 700+ languages used in Indonesia.
I can read 30,000 words per minute and write 15,000.
Autodidact with an eidetic memory.
I played Eric Draven in the 1994 action fantasy film, The Crow (I will go on to play the same role in the 2024 remake)
From ages 14-19, I was the lead singer and backup guitarist in a faceless V-Kei trio called Birds Dig Us under the stage name, Rook, and we were actually the number one boy band at the time 😭. We haven't released music since 2001, but we didn't break up either [Insider info: things are cooking].
My other bandmates were Miyavi (Dué le Quartz, Skin, The Last Rockstars) on guitar and backup vocals, stage name Tsubasa, and Kai (the GazettE) on drums, stage name Torrio, by the way.
Also, Birds Dig Us made all the songs for The Crow's soundtrack.
I have a southern accent because, after moving to the US and before joining the BAU, I lived in Texas.
Reid's autism and mine feed off of one another, if you couldn't tell…
Tumblr media
Some other things I changed:
I scripted that Austin the Bartender, Beth Clemmons, Elle Greenaway, Jason Gideon, Jordan Todd, Kevin Lynch, Maeve Donovan, Maxine Brenner, Stephen Walker, and Tyler Green don't exist, as well as that Aaron Hotchner, Alex Blake, Derek Morgan, and Kate Callahan never leave the BAU (for good, at least).
After Scratch dies, Hotch comes back to the BAU, but I keep my new position as unit chief, and Hotch just becomes a regular member of the team.
Reid and I both get actual diagnoses 😓
It takes longer for the team to go through the motions of Rossi's past because it felt far too quickly done in canon for me. Rearranged a bunch of episodes in the timeline for this and other reasons.
Morgan has lessened trust issues.
JJ didn't emotionally cheat on Will, her fucking baby daddy, because what the fuck was that??
Also, Haley and Hotch were less toxic because WOAH and Strauss and Rossi aren't hunching.
Tumblr media
To sum things up: As of now, the BAU consists of its legal expert and former Unit Chief, Aaron Hotchner; Alex Blake, a linguist who assists with nuances in communication; David Rossi, one of the first BAU agents and a specialist in hostage negotiation; Derek Morgan, an ex-Chicago policeman with proficiency in obsessional crimes and explosives; Emily Prentiss, a master at child advocacy and counter-terrorism; Jennifer Jareau, the communications liaison and a standard profiler; John Blackwolf, a standard profiler; Kate Callahan, an experienced undercover agent; Luke Alvez, an adept fugitive tracker; Matt Simmons, a skilled profiler from the FBI International Response Team; Penelope Garcia, the technical analyst; Spencer Reid, an elite geographic profiler and chirography analyst; Tara Lewis, a forensic psychologist; and myself, the squad's current Unit Chief and sex crime expert.
Tumblr media
PS: My voice claim is Corpse Husband because when given the choice to become my ideal self, why wouldn't I? Before anyone comes at me, I did use to have GERD! I didn't script myself having any disorders I don't or didn't have in this reality.

Legjobb koncertek 2023
Egyrészt a Panda Bear & Sonic Boom koncert a Magyar Zene Házában eszméletlenül beütött, utána beszélgettem 10 percet Noah-val, ami szintén baromi jó volt. Black Emperor). Másrészt elkezdtem hallgatni Andrew Hickey: History of Rock Music in 500 Songs podcastjét, ami a Reset-hez hasonlóan az 50-es évektől indul.

Batraculous: Spider-Boy and his Friends
Vince Le Blanc-Bustier
Age: 12
Hero Name: Spider-Boy
The first-born son of Commissioner Giselle Le Blanc and Caline Bustier. Gained powers after being bitten by a radioactive spider similar to the one that bit Socqueline, a.k.a. Spider-Girl. Aside from the usual benefits of Spider Powers (shooting webs, crawling on walls and super reflexes and strength) he is able to turn invisible and absorb electricity, though he can’t do it on command.
He's never been afraid to take risks, which is why he jumped at the chance to become Socqueline's protege. The Teen Titans see him as a little brother and he works hard to eventually take his place on the team.
Has a job as delivering Le Rapport Quotidien (The Daily Report) newspapers through various streets of Paris. Often has to use his Spidey-Senses to avoid collisions with cars.
Vince's Friends and Acquaintances.
Chris Lahiffe
Age: 12
The younger brother of Nino, a.k.a. Sonic Bat. He's the opposite of his older bro in almost every way. An intellectual and uptight kid who tries to act if he's already an adult. This can lead to him stressing about not just helping Vince as Spider-Boy, but also maintaining his usual standard of grades in school.
His constant perfectionism and slight know-it-all tendencies can get on his friends’ nerves from time to time, but they love him nonetheless. He serves as a bit of a Yin to Kiran’s Yang with their opposing personalities. Sasha Bruel and the Cesaire twins like to rile him up at times.
Chris considers himself a boy of science and logic, though seeing Doctor Strange has given him an interest in time travel. Perhaps he could pursue a career at OsCorp Industries...
Kiran Anciel
Age: 12
Marc, a.k.a Writer Bat's little brother, Kiran is unquestionably the heart of the group with his positive outlook and easygoing demeanor. He keeps his friends spirits up, particularly Vince, Chris, and his girlfriend Sasha.
Currently training alongside Sasha in the Batcave to become Batheroes just like their older brothers. The only problem Kiran faces is his stamina, since it doesn't take much to put him to sleep!
He and Marc share a close relationship. He'll often calm the older teen down, and Marc helps Kiran to find new creative outlets. Kiran idolizes his big brother and aims to be a hero like him someday. He also loves listening to Marc’s stories.
Sasha Bruel
Age: 12
Something of a mother hen to her friends, Sasha is the one who steps in whenever Vince gets himself hurt, and while she may not show much emotion outwardly, no one can deny how much she cares.
She idolizes her brother Ivan, a.k.a. Strength Bat. It's why her and Kiran are training to become heroes in the future. And so they can help out their web-slinging buddy. The entire Batcrew and the Titans will do anything to keep them safe.
Sasha still shares an incredibly close relationship with her brother, and he is one of the few people she shows her softer side to. The others are her besties, and especially her boyfriend Kiran. They have an adorable relationship and their brothers approve wholeheartedly.
Ella and Etta Cesaire
Age: 12
The twin sisters of Alya, a.k.a. Reporter Bat. While they were a lot more hyperactive when they were younger, they still like to make mischief every now and again. They're almost always on their phones, whether using social media, filming their friends and themselves or filming the heroes.
They're little shit-stirrers to be sure, usually winding Chris up for a laugh. Still, they care about their friends and family very much.
Ella's a jock and currently on the track and soccer team. On the contrary, Etta's a nerd who knows how to code and whizzes her science and math classes.
Vince's Little Bro
August Le Blanc-Bustier
Age: 8
Vince's younger brother. A total sweetie who thinks the world of his bro and is always willing to help whenever he can. Possibly the only kid in the world who's happier than Ayesha or Kiran, and generally has a problem with saying no to people.
August has a notorious sweet tooth, and usually has some kind of snack on him. The others enjoy spending time with him and are quite protective of him despite him being rather tall for his age, which is something he unfortunately gets bullied for. Still, he doesn't let it phase him.
Even though one of his mothers is Commissioner of the Paris Police Department, August has always felt a soft spot for criminals. He wants to understand why criminals do the things they do. Caline and Commissioner Gisele feel that he has a bright future in Paris's mental health services.
And here's the next post for Batraculous. Just a reminder that Vince is the name I gave to the kid who got akumatized in Risk and August is the name of the baby who got akumatized in Gigantitan. There'll be more on each Bathero Section's family soon. @artzychic27 @msweebyness

335: Areski and Fontaine // L'Incendie
Tumblr media
L'Incendie Areski and Fontaine 1973, BYG
The late ‘60s and early ‘70s were when the past half-century of avant-garde developments in theatre, literature, film, and art music began to break through into pop. The results of these early flirtations have a sense of discovery and possibility that has continued to captivate generations of new listeners to this day. Brigitte Fontaine and Areski Belkacem’s L’Incendie should absolutely be considered one of the towering classics of the era (and, among the Francophonie, it probably is), but I only came across it for the first time early last year. It reminds me of something from the Velvet Underground / John Cale / Nico universe, simultaneously emblematic of its time and so ahead of it as to sound anachronistic.
On “Les murailles,” tape of Fontaine’s exhalations and what sounds like a kalimba are snipped up and looped to create a tinkling, twitching soundscape that presages the Books or Boards of Canada; the track that follows, “L’engourdie,” layers howling wah-drenched electric guitar behind a pretty acoustic folk pop number that would fit right in on a Brigitte Bardot record; next, the stark “Nous avons tant parlé” could be a theatrical elegy set in a dilapidated seaside church. Every song feels stylistically distinct, but Areski and Fontaine’s creative vision remains consistent; I hear post-punk and Björk and Sonic Youth, and I hear French early music and Berber folk and the ‘50s sound poetry of Henri Chopin in the same measure.
youtube
It’s always a challenge reviewing non-English language records because you’re stuck speaking to its purely sonic characteristics, which increases the likelihood you’ll hilariously misread it—call a song a soothing folk idyll when it’s actually about smashing international Jewry or something. With political, lyric-forward stuff like L’Incendie, it also means failing to engage with its message, flattening it as an artwork. (Unfortunately, there is nothing I as a person of French ancestry living in a majority-French city could do or could have done in the past to better interpret this record.) I asked French-language correspondent and girlfriend of the podcast Mea for one of her classic vibe checks, but she told me the reams of notes she took while listening were too dotty to share, so I can only assume hearing and understanding Fontaine’s words in their original tongue unchains some celestial horror.
Few of the lyrics can be easily found online, which forces me to rely on Le Gendre’s analysis, but critic Kevin Le Gendre’s helpful liner notes paint a portrait of a wide-ranging album that engages with recent post-colonialist bloodshed (Jordan’s Black September civil war with PLO forces on “Le 6 septembre”); the medicalization of psychic distress (“Ragilia”); intimacy and coupledom; and much more besides. What I was able to find of Fontaine’s lyrics online have a spiky surrealist poetry to them. From “Après la guerre” (“After the War”):
“Happiness blows The eyelids lie gently The sexes glow The eyes, by moving, make you cum The men returned from the war And on their heads, the grass grows back.”

Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara in Carol (Todd Haynes, 2015)
Cast: Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara, Kyle Chandler, Sarah Paulson, Jake Lacy, John Magaro, Cory Michael Smith, Kevin Crowley, Nik Pajic. Screenplay: Phyllis Nagy, based on a novel by Patricia Highsmith. Cinematography: Edward Lachman. Production design: Judy Becker. Film editing: Affonso Gonçalves. Music: Carter Burwell.
With her Mamie Eisenhower bangs and heart-shaped face, Rooney Mara in Carol becomes the reincarnation of such '50s icons as Audrey Hepburn, Jean Simmons, and Maggie McNamara -- particularly the McNamara of The Moon Is Blue (Otto Preminger, 1953), that once-scandalous play and movie about a young woman who defies convention by talking openly about sex while retaining her virginity. It's just coincidence that Carol is set at the end of 1952 and into 1953, the year of the release of The Moon Is Blue, but the juxtaposition of McNamara's Patty O'Neill and Mara's Therese Belivet seems to me appropriate because the 1950s have become such a touchstone for examining our attitudes toward sex. Director Todd Haynes and screenwriter Phyllis Nagy, adapting a novel by Patricia Highsmith, have done an exemplary job in Carol of not tilting the emphasis toward Grease-style caricature or Mad Men-style satire of the era, or exploiting the same-sex relationship in the film for sensationalism or statement-making. Carol is a story about people in relationships, clear-sightedly viewed in a way that Therese herself would endorse. After asking her boyfriend Richard (Jake Lacy) if he's ever been in love with a boy and receiving a shocked reply that he's only "heard of people like that," Therese replies, "I don't mean people like that. I just mean two people who fall in love with each other." It's this matter-of-factness that the film tries to maintain throughout its story of Therese and Carol (Cate Blanchett), the well-to-do wife in a failing marriage. That the film is set in the 1950s, when cracks were showing in the conventional attitudes toward both marriage and homosexuality, gives piquancy to their relationship, but it doesn't limit it. The story could be (and probably is) playing itself out today in various combinations of sexual identity. The film works in large part because of the steadiness of Haynes at the helm, with two extraordinary actresses at the center and beautiful support from Sarah Paulson as Abby, Carol's ex-lover, and Kyle Chandler (one of those largely unsung actors like the late Bill Paxton who make almost everything they appear in better) as Carol's husband, the hard-edged Harge Aird. The sonic texture of the 1950s is splendidly provided by Carter Burwell's score and a selection of classic popular music by artists like Woody Herman, Georgia Gibbs, Les Paul and Mary Ford, Perry Como, Eddie Fisher, Patti Page, Jo Stafford, and Billie Holiday.

Storia Di Musica #253 . AA.VV. - I’M Not There (O.S.T.), 2007

Magazine Proposal #1
The future of technology is upon us, with A.I, robots, virtual reality rising to prominence and entering the conscience of the public. Many criticize such technologies, believing they are a possible danger to society, putting into question work ethics, health, et cetera. They are valid concerns concerning the dangerously high rates of electronics, gaming, and social media addictions. The very real effects of technology on modern society have altered the course of humanity for good. While this quite worrying future is ahead of us, with other social issues as well, many have used the science-fiction genre to escape to a different future, to reimagine a world wherein things are different.
Science-fiction enables the creative mind to reimagine alternative universes and futures, dystopias, utopias, to reinvent a world with technology and science. This genre has historically been dominated by the works of White male authors and artists. However, they have often omitted and/or demonized the existence of people of colour, the LGBTQ+ community, as well as other marginalized groups. Stories of aliens invading Earth and destroying humanity are often reflections of immigration fears. Utopias where only White people exist are reflections of how they see marginalized groups as unable to thrive or be successful. Henceforth, they would put forward a narrative of White supremacy. Thankfully, in the past decades, marginalized authors and artists have begun reclaiming science-fiction as a way of proclaiming their existence, importance and contribution to society, wherein they are finally able to reimagine a future for themselves where they can thrive. Sub-genres such as Queer, Indigenous, Disabled fiction, Afrofuturism, et cetera, have put into perspective the struggles or the thriving of these minorities. This new science-fiction has been cultivated by authors and artists such as Ursula K. Le Guin, Octavia Butler, Sun Ra, etc. Our culture has been influenced by these works, as such, the content of this magazine will touch upon science-fiction films, music, art, fashion, and literature that fall within the sub-genres that reclaim science-fiction as also belonging to minorities.
I feel as though a printed magazine would allow for better visual communication and interesting designs using a two page layout. This would be a good choice for work with visuals elements such as films and music videos. It allows for more space to explore graphics, images and typography. The pages will be 12 x 9 inches. I plan on using the modular grid strategy layout from Timothy Samara's Making and Breaking the Grid.

Today I’m opening an Q&A (FAQ) about my AU : Journey Through the Universes! The process is very simple : ask questions on Tumblr to my characters and they’ll answer them in the form of small doodles.
You can ask questions to Mily, Orion, their human parents Dorianne (or Dori) and Lucas (or Luc) as well as Spirit, the great spirit (silly, I know 😅) and more later of questions allow me to introduce other OCs.
But that’s not all! As the name of the AU suggests, Mily and Orion traveled through many Universes together and have made many friends and it’s possible to ask them questions too! These characters, which belong to their rightful owners, are from the following franchises (or Universes) :
Wakfu/Dofus
The Dragon Prince
She-ra and the Princesses of Power
Kipo and the Age of the Wonderbeasts
The Owl House
Avatar the Las Airbender/The legend of Korra
Sonic the Hedgehog (Archie comics non included)
Sonic the Hedgehog cinematic universe (Sonic movie)
Nintendo Universe (Mario, Pokemon…)
Spyro the dragon (1,2 and 3)
The legend of Spyro
Jurassic park/world (Camp Cretaceous included)
Inuyasha/Yashahime
Ice age
My little pony/Equestria girls
BNA
Disney in general
Dreamworks in general
Pixar in general
Undertale
Ghibli
… and More!
When asking your question, please specify the name of the movie/series/video game franchise the character is coming from, thank you. I’ll answer the questions whenever I can.
Until then, see you soon 😁.

VENDREDI 28 OCTOBRE FIRMAET FORVOKSEN / no DAS SYNTHETISCHE MISCHGEWEBE / de ROMPÉ / fr
ATOMIC CITY
.. FIRMAET FORVOKSEN moves in peculiar ways. The music is natural, but alien. Cosmic, but down-home. The Oval Language, ERG, MSBR, Toy Bizarre, Roel Melkoop, Ralf Wehowsky, Anla Courtis, Thierry Madiot, Radu Malfatti, Vestige Vertical, Stéfan Rives & Agnés Pallier, Claus van Bebber, Tore Honore Boe, TBC, The New Blockaders ...
