"Sing unto the LORD"

I love to sing, kahit madalas hindi maganda ang tonong kinalalabasan at nawawala sa tono. When I was a teenager before I became a Christian, I fancy people with lovely and beautiful voices. Napakasarap pakinggan, relaxing to the ears and you may never want to stop listening to it. Nakakatuwang isipin na pangarap ko noon yon: TO SING AND BE ADMIRED. But after hearing from someone that my voice was not good and I got compared to somebody who has a great voice, I felt very shameful. Nahiya na ko and I lost hope. Nakakalungkot talaga yun. Imagine, the thing that you WANTED so bad was not for you.

That was until God called me to sing for HIM. Everything else changed. Yung puso na dating gustong magpasikat, turned out as a person with a heart that longs to praise Him and bring glory to His precious name. Comparing myself to the best singers of today, wala talaga akong kalalagyan. Pero, I don't care, as long as God wants me to sing for Him, I WILL. Hindi dahil passion ko ang pagkanta but because MY PASSION IS HIM.

Today, I want to be the best. I long to improve my way of singing at pagandahin pa yung boses ko. I want to see HIM smiling when I sing. I will offer God the best that could give. It is the greatest privelege to serve the King of kings and the LORD of lords. Wala ng hahanapin pa kung totohanan kang naglilingkod sa Kanya.

My greatest dream and fulfillment is to be able to write a song (my best song) that I will sing for my God face to face.
