"Troop Zero" is a heartwarming 2019 comedy-drama film directed by Bert & Bertie and written by Lucy Alibar. Set in rural Georgia in the 1970s, the story follows a misfit girl named Christmas Flint (played by McKenna Grace) who dreams of communicating with extraterrestrial life. When she learns about a Birdie Scout Jamboree where the winning troop can have their voices recorded on NASA's Golden Record, she forms her own ragtag Birdie Scout troop.

Christmas recruits a diverse group of girls, each with their quirks, including her friend Joseph (Charlie Shotwell), the brash Hell-No Price (Milan Ray), the introverted Smash (Johanna Colón), the eccentric Anne-Claire (Bella Higginbotham), and the deeply sympathetic and eccentric troop leader Miss Rayleen (Viola Davis).

Pink Floyd - “Wish You Were Here”

Lyrically, the song is often considered to be a direct tribute to Syd Barrett. However, on the documentary The Story of Wish You Were Here, Gilmour and Waters separately describe the original concept that differs from this interpretation. Waters, who mainly wrote the lyrics complementing Gilmour’s initial riff idea and subsequent joint composition, describes the lyrics as being directed at himself, as his lyrics often are. Being present in one’s own life and freeing one’s self in order to truly experience life is a main topic in this song. Gilmour, on the other hand, recognizes that he never performs the song without remembering Syd Barrett. Waters later adds that the song is nevertheless open to interpretation.
