Cody was sure she left something at the church, so the Toscarina siblings returned later to search for it. Their mother warned them to be safe. They did their best, but you can only prepare for an arsonist hidden under the cover of night so much.

This song singlehandedly got me out of writer's block. This is my second songfic and my first good one, and honestly, it was pretty fun to write, even if it was also absolutely heartwrenching. I hope I was able to do at least one of Russell's crimes justice. Contains spoilers for day three of End Roll. Named after the song of the same name by Vane Lily.
