solid 8/10. a bit overdone for me (almost certainly not a problem that most people have so you can add an extra half point there if you want) but it does have solid lines about actually growing up religious while also having the good fucked up self esteem motif that is so central to the experience of catholicism specifically. definitely warrants a place on a religious trauma playlist its only fault is that it is on Every religious trauma playlist.

when i am making a character playlist that i think warrants a saint bernard inclusion i am personally partial to saint bernard 2 just to change it up a little bit. same lyrics but the musicality is a little less heavy and i think the piano and violins bring a different kind of stress and melancholy about it while introducing a bouncier instrumental that makes the occasional high pitched strings or feedback noise impactful in a different kind of way. you know? just a little recommendation if the dear reader has not heard it before <3
