uuuoh. two different "non-canon-compliant" Pause Ahead (2013 flash precision platformer by Askiisoft) Paueins because im one of the two people on this earth whos deranged about this game

FIRST is my headcanon for the narrator. the way the narration is written makes it feel very ambiguous where your player character ends and the unexplained third party begins, so i liek teh idea that the narrator is somehow ALSO pauein.

i think of him as like, the "original" that all these clones (or WHATEVER they are) were based upon, and he does Not remember anymore how he got into this weird hell ruins/ambiguously simulated world but hes basically a Part of it at this point. he's stuck in a loop of watching his duplicates die over and over and he keeps losing the memory of each iteration other than the fact that It Keeps Happening

the other one is just me being silly LMAO. i kept making jokes with my brother that Paueinsonas should be a thing so i put my money where my mouth is and made one. Btw paueinsonas should be a thing

he is pauein 282 and hes actually having a GREAT time in the caverns and he does not want to leave. he LOVES navigating obstacle courses of spikes and thwomps and sawblades and he LOVES getting decapitated in hell it is ENRICHING for him. the architect keeps trying to euthanize him and it is NOT FUCKING WORKING

this is pauein 9696. he exists because a friend made a joke about this very concept for some mysterious reason and i felt compelled to make him real (he is derived from the jet set radio paradox version of yoyo obv)
