ppl on tumblr will call you ableist for criticizing them being an asshole to people for no reason and then say shit like “if you kill spiders in your house you deserve the death penalty” 🙃
#there were several years my arachnophobia was so bad i could barely go outside#i don’t want to be outside in summer and rarely sit in the grass#sometimes i’m ok but other times i get horrible tactile hallucinations and panic attacks#quickly killing a spider so it doesn’t harm me mentally is not the end of the world#i’m sorry but my health is more important than the poor little spidey#i’m not being sarcastic there- i do feel bad for the spiders :(#if they’re just hanging out in corner webs and they’re tiny and don’t move a lot like ok sure#if they’re big and crawling on the wall by me or on the floor towards me#or in the way of something i need access to?#it has to be done 🤷🏻♀️#but anyways i shouldn’t need to defend myself#because bugs are living beings sure but sometimes they have to die#if you have fly traps and hire exterminators you don’t get to pick and choose which bug is more worthy of living anyways#but spiders are cute!!! ok this is just the whole would you eat a dog instead of a cow shit again
