this request is so old i feel like i’m a dj taking it back to the 90′s. it is referring to this post, which is also ancient.

billy loomis: It’s the perfect validation for him. He can’t even imagine you getting sick of him, or up and leaving one day. You trail after him like a lost puppy. How could the way you so clearly feel about him ever turn into disdain, or even worse, apathy? He likes to think that you’re the clingy one and he just bears it. This is not true. You just never give him the chance to be clingy. If you pull back on being affectionate even slightly he notices. He hounds you. Invades your personal space. Bothers you. Once you're giving him the proper amount of affection again, he’s right back to being aloof. You just roll your eyes and smother him anyway.

josh washington: He didn’t even know he could be so clingy until he got with you. You tainted him. Sure, he was always the most affectionate of his friends. Yes, he hugged people to say hello and goodbye. This is different though. He’ll get cranky and wonder why, only to realize he hasn’t seen you today and gotten his fix yet. Once, he ran to give you a hug after being apart for a few hours tops. His friends clowned on him for the rest of the week. You guys go everywhere together. When people invite one of you somewhere they know they’re really inviting both of you.

stu macher: He eats it up. He’s clingy! You’re clingy! Together you’re the perfect couple. You literally make the people around you sick. Also, sometimes you make everyone around you uncomfortable. Your PDA might be loving but Stu’s PDA quickly becomes obscene, and there’s nothing you can do about it. You guys can, will, and have cuddled anywhere and any time. You sit in each other’s laps constantly. At restaurants you two sit in booths side by side. Unless you want to stare at each other. Then you sit on opposite sides but hold hands over the table. Despicable.

jd: Took to you being clingy like a fish to water. He’s been starved for affection for a very sad, very long time. At first he hesitated, like he wasn’t sure if you were trying to trick him. He didn’t think anyone could be so loving. It was getting hard to believe anyone could love him. But you never faltered, and time and time again you proved that you were earnest in your affection. It wasn’t even a show that you put on for the public eye. Even in private you crawl all over him like it’s your job. Soon enough he’s doing it too. One hand always on your thigh. On the small of your back as you’re walking. Kisses on the cheek goodbye, and then (because neither of you can resist) a long, slow one for the final goodbye. You’re a dream come true and JD never wants to wake up.

kevin khatchadourian: You resisted being clingy with Kevin for as long as you could for a variety of very valid reasons. Eventually you break. You touch his arm when he walks you to your door. You lean into his space when he’s talking to you. You walk beside one another, and your fingers keep brushing together because you’re matching his stride perfectly. Kevin watches all of this with a cool disinterest at first. Then with irritation. You’re clingy and touchy with so many other people. But you hold back with him. The only one you should be paying any real attention to in the first place. As soon as he feels those first stirrings of possessiveness his own... affection begins. He grabs your hand without asking when you’re walking down hallways together. He reaches out and touches your hair when you’re talking, just to watch you trip over your words. He thinks it’s all for show, even when you’re alone, when no one else is watching. Until you tentatively climb into his lap one day, and tuck your face into his neck. Hiding, as if you’re scared of his reaction. He sits for a long time, completely still. Eventually his arms move to encircle you. The sensation is completely foreign, holding someone. He holds you tighter and decides he likes it. You were probably better off never having touched him at all.
