#what does that MEAN. what does it mean#like. 'people we think are women and i guess anyone else brave enough to come'??#genuinely might be worse than 'women femmes and nbs' which already enrages me#levi.txt#sometimes i feel like weve made so many concessions in the past to make cis people understand and feel as unthreatened by us as possible#'identify as' language/'preferred' pronouns/using the terms afab+amab outside of necessity/etc etc#like. its not a fucking option! theres no 'can i have coke' 'is a pepsi ok instead' here!#it feels like collectively saying 'you dont REALLY have to think of me as i am dw i know thats way too hard just please pretend at least'#i love that were moving away from that as a community (and from respectability politics/begging for scraps in general)#and i dont blame anyone in the community for the genesis of this language bc were all just trying our best out here. i get it i really do#but god. its done some damage i think
