Hey guys! So apparently my tumblr is broken. My message bar has disappeared along with my messages, and my tagged posts no longer show up under their tags. I've already contacted support, hopefully they will fix it SOMEDAY. Judging by what people say I am far from the only one to get this weird shadowbanny glitch, and i can only hope it will be fixed just like in their cases. I was meaning to post my Tolkien and Dragon Age bits of artober here but for now it kinda feels pointless. Gonna do it in instagram, telegram, and mastodon for now. Dear @support and @staff, please help.

As the tag "something went screwy" suggests, I am posting this to inform I can't access comments, the chat and similar communicative options on Tumblr. I contacted support about it and will wait for their verdict.

I suspect the reason for it, but I tried to fix it as soon as I realized and it seemed to not be enough. I'd just like to let you all know, is all.

I don't know if this will affect my posting stories, but I hope not, it really brings me great joy and honestly the whole situation is making me slightly panicky and emotional.

Edit: so I realized my blog isn't even showing up on search, so I guess I'll have to wait for them to fix it. I know this is such a crybaby thing but I'm really upset about it.

Jesus I abandoned my last account for the same issue. I really don’t wanna do this again. It was fine two weeks ago. Emailing your service doesn’t work either. Please fix the problem

Idk if things are just backlogged for the site or what but it's almost been 2 weeks since getting shadowbanned (can't respond to comments/replies, lost access to DMs, tags not showing up, ect) and it might be me being impatient or what but apparently most people get this issue solved in less than 48 hours, because it's reportedly a bug on TUMBLRS side. I've still gotten no response, or even so much as a email.

Now I dont know how much of a dumpster fire it is at HQ, but patience is wearing thin and I must admit I'm feeling my inner Karen trying to come out lol.

a few months ago i just stopped being able to send or receive any kind of direct messages through tumblr. but like ONLY on my main blog. i checked the message settings on desktop and they're just.. completely gone. i tried asking @staff for help, and never got an answer. what's up with that?

like. tf is this? on desktop the inbox button is just completely gone as well. this is very inconvenient and i have no idea what to even do about it. has this happened to anyone else?
