Okay but I'm still thinking about the possibility of Eddie having to leave Buck behind because he can't save Buck and Chris is in danger and Chris comes first, but I'm thinking about it as a conclusion for Buck's arc this season, I guess. Because Buck died. It was not just a close call. He was clinically dead. And he has not come to terms with that. Like at all. But we know he would die to save someone he loves in a heartbeat. To have him end up in a situation where he's dying not because he's dying but because he's trapped so he's slammed into his feelings about life and death would be actually fascinating to watch. Because he's a character that's very full of life but who has many issues with his sense of self worth. I could be really interesting.
