When rats are happy they grind their front teeth. This called bruxing. However because their jaw muscles are just below their eyes, more aggressive bruxing rapidly pushes their eyes in and out of their sockets. That’s called boggling. YES i love rats so much and brick absolutely boggles. I even had a thought (weeks ago) to draw out peppino seeing it for the first time and thinking brick is DYING 😭

Gustavo leaves Brick in his care for just one(1) hour and Peppino is like ‘please do not leave this beast with me, what if it needs something? What if it eats something its not supposed to eat? And Brick isnt the Most friendly and hes kind of Huge and Peppino really doesnt like being in his Presence so hes like 🧍 watching Brick from the back of the pizzeria. Because thats a fucking BEAST in his SHOP! He cannot stress this enough; a BEAST. And hes responsible for it ! Gus had to beat that thing into submission for some alpha pack leader respect shit! Hes wiping down the counters and when turns around to rinse off the rag, Brick is hovering over him. And he has no shame in admitting this; he screams. Thats like a bear closing the gap of an entire storefront in less than a second without a single sound made 😭 and now its SNUFFLING him and hes like im going to fucking pass away.

“I dont have anything on me you fucking rat- GO AWAY-” but hes got his hands balled up into fists against his chest and hes shaking bc Brick wont stop being Nosy. And now the fuckers bunting at his fist and hes like ‘what does that fucking MEAN do you want to fight??? I dont want to fight you, I really dont; I really really dont. But brick is snuffling his hand and trying to pry it open and hes like. Do you want me to fucking pet you??? And he tentatively reaches out to pet Brick, only to pull away SHARPLY when Brick nibbles at his hand. Like u little bitch u did you just bite me??? But theres no marks…and after a minute of Peppino not moving an inch, this fucking BEAST decides to use his hands to GRAB Peppinos hand, and guide it to his muzzle. As if to say ‘this, i want this! I want you to do this!’

So Peppino reluctantly caves in bc hes fucking TRAPPED between a bear rat beast and his countertop. Bricks fur is oddly sleek, yet easy to bristle when he pets their face. Running his thumb against the base of his whiskers feels Weird but Brick SEEMS content. Hes like ‘yeah…o-okay. Okay…! Yeah! O-okay; im ‘a not dead! :)’

And then bricks eyes start wobbling out of control; theyre popping in and out of his head and Peppino GRIPS this poor rats face hes like WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU FUCKING DOING? DYING? ARE YOU DYING RIGHT NOW????! He didnt notice it before but NOW hes hearing this odd grinding sound and Peppino is like this fucking thing is breaking down right in front of me 😭 But despite the roughness, Brick is still staring at him, eyes wobbling furiously

Gustavo comes back to what LOOKS like Peppino (gently) holding Bricks face while Brick boggles, and hes like ‘OH look at that! Brick looks pretty happy, my friend :)’

And Peppino is like (face red; eyes wide) WHAT?? THIS ISNT A STROKE ??!

And now I’m thinking of a beauty and the beast au.

Like Soap can act just as “monstrously” and is probably more destructive in general than Ghost but he’s regarded as the beauty, And Ghost sure he can act the monster but he’s more self contained and wasn’t even responsible for his curse.

Jonny would love Simon whether he looked like a beast or not and Ghost ’d also probably view his form as keeping him safe from people (if he’s a scary monster people will leave him tf alone). Soap will not leave the poor bastard alone (if he didn’t want to hand around, there is no way you could keep him in place).

Roba cursed Ghost with his last breath but it didn’t take full effect because technically he killed then cursed Simon not Ghost, So his body changed not his mind.

Oh god all I can think of is them singing different songs together and that’s how the start bonding because humans will always find a way to make music. (Different universe but now the dancing and the dreaming is stuck in my head so thank you for that)

a "showmance" is basically a romance that starts during the run of a show, sometimes between leads and sometimes between people in the rest of the cast and crew! there are a bunch of real life couples who met on set or in rehersals and got together either during or after a show's run! (not all of them are Great or healthy, but thats a whole different story lmao)

but for this, i was thinking of simon riley who was a well established, well liked west end singer and actor (the west end is the equivalent of broadway but for the uk) but had to leave the stage due to some undisclosed reason. maybe family troubles, maybe something else, i dont know yet this is still very nebulous in my mind XD but after everything settles, he ends up joining an off-west end production with an up and coming actor - john mactavish! its basically shaping up to be like a sweet, fluffy, slightly angsty (because when isnt there angst lmao) fic! price is directing, nikolai is conducting maybe? roach is in the sound and lighting booth or a stagehand behind the scenes. yeah!

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST AUS ARE MY FUCKING JAM OKAY its my favorite fairy tale of all time and the animated version is my favorite disney movie of all time and i have to make at least one batb au of my current fandom (also, as a side note, if anyone finds a ghoap batb au please link it to me ive been searching and i havent found any yet T-T)

i absolutely agree that soap might seem like the stereotypical "beauty" role in that hes got the looks and the smarts and the charisma, but that man is a Menace who does not take shit standing down! >:D my favorite interpretations and tellings of batb are when both people have something to learn from the other. for ghost, its that he isnt a monster despite what everyone else has told him in the past and he is worthy of love and respect and dignity despite what hes done. and for soap, its that he doesnt have to react to every little thing with anger, that he is more than his looks, and that he has value outside of what he can provide others. they make each other better <3

[unexploded anon] first of all about the protags: yes. yeag. ur right. that aside you cant really... make any interesting decisions in fo4? which also leads to that fixed character feel. sure you can decide which faction to join but thats it. you dont get several ways of solving things like the nv moon quest for example. as soon as they went teehee no more karma and a voiced protag it was so over.

that aside my biggest grievance with bethany esdas version of fo(esp 4)is that they simply cannot write anything that isnt "the world was destroyed and it sucks now also the brotherhood of steel is here". theyre sooo scared to move on from it— or perhaps they are just afraid to say anything? a big point of fo1 and 2 and nv is bad thing happened how do we move on from that. they rebuild! they have huge cities! theyve started printing money again by fo2! things arent great sure but they are developing!

the plot in the new show revolves around who threw the first bomb so we can all point our fingers at the real bad guy actually which feels like such a big misunderstanding to me and again shows that they simply cannot move on from the hoho! big war happen! plot. they even went and nuked the big settlements so theyre back to that status quo and its just so LAME. wheres the hopeful spark of humanity in this. wheres anything that isnt just hehe bomb go boom heres the brotherhood of steal (while simultanously yassifying the ghouls so they look less scary as if they arent a direct result of the horrors of war youre so fixated on gg)

definitely interesting to hear perspective from a first 2 fallouts enjoyer...this is a true war never changes moment. at this point i do think the brotherhood of steel and their big old promo material power armor is probably a brand recognition association with their brand. they do also seem to lean into marketable in-universe branding like the vault boy and nuka-cola but without the irony which is a critique i've seen a lot of that i'm inclined to agree with and also unfortunately kind of funny if i'm honest.

fo4 does seem like it could be fun if it's the sort of action game you're in the market for and i think if i was in the right mood it could be something i could've gotten further in. the universe contorted me into playing new vegas and only new vegas. i was so smoothtalked by todd howard's fallout 4 e3 presentation that i resolved to get it when it came out, and to bide the time before, got fallout 3 and found i could not get it to run on my laptop. i refunded 3 and begrudgingly got new vegas as a compensation, which ran like a dream, but i didnt get past the first time in my first attempt - i found the wasteland crunchy and unnerving with its evil beasts and thought "maybe fallout 4 will be more comforting - it's more colorful". then fallout 4 came out and i could not run it. so then i turned back to new vegas. and now i LOVE the crunchy wasteland and the evil beasts.

Welcome to the second part of IDK how many parts of Waku Puyo Extras, where I find videos related to the route I'm currently translating and looking at and add more to what's there, since I know I missed stuff. For those who are confused, or are new, I translated Schezo's storyline (for the most part) in my blog. Now, I'm just finding bits I've missed and just adding onto those.

The video here is...interesting due to how the events are unfolded here. The introduction from 0:08 to 0:58 is on Episode 5 of me doing this, and 1:15 is the start of Episode 7. However, thankfully, there's one new whole area of text that my video didn't cover at 1:32, where we have an Arle and Carbuncle encounter.

For convenience sake, I'll just be doing that new part. The rest are already translated by yours truly on the designated episodes.

for the autistic poll: I thought i was the only normal one with common sense and often suspected others, (most often my own parents) of being impostors/ aliens and often disregarded the humanity of others. This may be partially due to whatever mental ilness my dad passed down that causes paranoia and sensing things not being there, but it wasn't until I was 15 or so when due to my worsening depression i started feeling like i was the one that isnt fully human

cheers! I came to the conclusion pretty early on that something must be wrong with me, since every human interaction made me want to die and nobody seemed to like me for longer than a few moments. i figured i'd do better with scary beasts, because humans act like they aren't scary and so never try to PROVE you can trust them. but a scary monster not eating me is already proof enough that it doesn't really want to hurt me. also i was self conscious about the way i looked so i was like "what if Monsters are just self conscious too cause everything THINKS they're scary"

well i most recently finished kamen rider build and (comically long censor beep) so long story short i think its very good and im making someone who was on the fence about watching it watch it now. i really cannot get into it but it was kind of scientifically engineered to fuck with me as a person and also was just a very well written story and is one that makes a rewatch drive you up the wall sento is really testing my love for other characters he really might become number 1 protagonist

but im actually already watching something else now which is after like 6 months im picking up ryuki again and im 12 episodes in and i like them :] i hear theres also things that will fuck with me in ryuki beyond the major character death spoilers i happen to know so thats great and not scary at all.

this also isnt counting the fact im doing super hero time with friends so im also watching two ultraman shows rn shout outs to super hero time r/b is a funny ass show to be among my first ultraman shows and geed is a nice time :]

does... watching 2 episodes of power rangers dino charge during a mental breakdown count we think. beloved childhood show that has aged about as well as you would imagine. i really need to see kyoryu and put those suits in a different context LOL

19. If you could go back and change one show, what would you change?

good lord where do i start. im mostly a kamen rider watcher and in that regard i have very controversial picks as my favourite shows id say. off the top of my head if i could do one thing id probably go back in time and hold inoue at gunpoint to get rid of mihara entirely from faiz and have mari turn into delta instead. but with the way he is hed probably kill her at the end of the episode and have keitaro would end up with it. still somehow a better option than mihara being there hes so nothing for such a good looking suit. adds nothing to the plot at all hes just there. dont worry when my entirety of faiz rewrite happens to make it about mari and osada then you will all see

ok. ao. ive unlocked most of the map now. and i think im getting into endgame territory. based on the storyline and the op items im getting now.

uh. so i killed that first dreamer. so im just going to stick to the path and keep killing dreamers even though its making me really sad :( i just got to the top of watchers spire and. this one rlly hurt. at least spiders were scary. watchers is in the top of my fav city and theres a little telescope where u can see where she looked thru. and then you see her lying peacefully on the bed which is what freaked me out last time too. and to make matters worse they stuck one of the little scared guys up there to make you really feel like a monster bc its a reminder that some of them dont even want to fight you why are you fighting them? i think i was always destined to be the villain of this story

AND ON THAT NOTE. CONFIRMATION ON ALL THE LITTLE HINTS ABT HOW YOURE NOT EXACTLY THE GOOD GUY HERE. OR AT LEAST YOURE CAUSING A LOT OF PAIN IN THE MEANTIME. UH. DREAM NAIL. SO I GOT A CHARM THAT CHARGES DREAM NAIL FASTER. im like huh. what the hell is that for. all the things i use the dreamnail on are stationary? but im like oh of course! i need it to charge faster if i can use it on normal mobs. so i excitedly equip the charm to go see what cool tech this dream nail does on mobs.

the tech is psychological horror. i can now read everyones thoughts. hooray. so far ive had two results for mobs: 1) horrible pain 2) horrified confusion and immobility. cause. turns out. the coreopsis point. was actually. going to get answered. theyre. the orange eyes and aggressiveness is partially Planned. theyre all asleep. the sleep wasnt just the dreamers. its all the citizens of hollownest. to contain the infection they wove some sort of spell that put all infected in a pseudo slumber that repels anyone from trying to come in. theyre unwitting defenders of outsiders who may venture too deep and unknowingly spread the disease. either intentionally or by accident, theyre the perfect defense. agonized and aggressive because of it they lash out to anyone and keep curious wanderers away.

okay so i ended up finishing it last night but was too tired to write any more.

first of all, i thought it was eight episodes (gdi) not six. probably because it was supposed to release on the 18th so my brain was stuck on eight. but i finished ep6 (where it ends on a cliffhanger) expecting the next episode to play and getting confused when the other show recommendations started popping up. i then also wondered if maybe the "last two" episodes would air on the 18th only to look up the show again and realize it has said 6 episodes the whole time. fml.

so yeah, that cliffhanger really sucked for me as i was sitting there expecting more only to get that dream yanked out from under me lol. fuck you cliffhangers!! (but yes, i know theyre good for shows, sigh)

as for the other episodes and everything, they were really good still! some things got a little far fetched such as how tf were they able to survive a 17 hour plane flight. and how the fuck was matteo even able to get them there. if it was half that i still think itd be almost too far fetched after everything. i understand realism isnt exactly the goal of the show but that part just made it a little silly to me.

also, im not even sure if i should say katie's death was too predictable because... it was that obvious. although im still not sure if it really detracts that much from the show. one of the first things they show us in the show is dave on a plane and katie is very obviously dead/a ghost, telling him to wake up. so we knew it had to happen at some point but once she started dozing i was like "ahh, okay. so she dies on the plane."

as for the little community on the island, that was certainly a surprise. the dream people arent as mysterious and scary as they were, they just live in a cute little neighborhood with everyone (lol.) yet, there still feels like there could be something wrong. its "too safe" maybe. dave seems to trust them but is he being too naive? especially after all those years of his life where he felt terrorized by them. obviously, it seems they were only there to protect him from "the beast" (the elephant man) but do they have ulterior motives?

and although we've seen the dream people now, theres still a lot that's unanswered. what is the beast and what does he want with dave, why does he look like an elephant???, what are the whales, what is the veil, why is everyone waking up now?

i assume that last one is to fight this war but what is that going to look like, how is dave going to defeat an army of... everyone on earth?

anyway, im not an expert analyst of tv shows, i didnt look very deep into everything and have only watched it the one time. im not trying to analyze each episode and find its deeper meaning or anything, i just wanted a place to dump my thoughts where it wouldnt bug my friends who werent watching the show (and so i could actually talk about the show without spoiling my friends.) hope anyone who actually read this brain dump at least enjoyed it!

watching the edge of sleep (new show on prime with markiplier in it, he told everyone to go watch it, etc etc.) im on ep 3 now and keep spamming my friend discord server with my thoughts on it while everyone's probably asleep. so i figure i can probably just start dumping my thoughts here instead. i'll start off with what ive already said and then add on stuff as im continuing to watch.

first ep done. its actually better than i expected. the opening segment had me wondering if maybe itd be kinda cheesy like with its effects and stuff but the rest of the ep was pretty good

They're just, in their way, a little... upset by how their first meeting with you went. They don't want you to fear them, or hate them-! They want you to love them- Adore them-! As much as they do you! Be theirs- Forever and ever! Their inhuman-ness is a reminder that they have hurt you- And they still can. Which they hate. Their human mimicries are but a veil that prevents you from being hurt by them- So when their bodies start breaking/melting- When that veil is shattered- They get fearful. They aren't just concerned with safety checks because they're Subway Bosses, you know!

But it would make them melt to know their Darling adores them no matter what scary tentacle-eye-mouth-dragon-beast-incomprehensible geometrical structure-things lurk beneath their skin.

Emmet collapsing into your arms, staring up at you adoringly with a ring of his eyes opening around you languidly- Even if he's worried about showing you his true self, the fact you find it adorable that he wants to look at you so closely and be so close to you has him beyond blissful- A contented smile on his face as he looks up at you. His voidal, extraneous eyes look like hollow windows into darkness- glittering with some distant light in the very back of them. You feel his arms tighten around you, and you can feel something soft gliding around you, though- It's not visible.

Ingo holding you gently in his arms, seated on his lap- Worried that you might have just been being polite when you told him you'd love all of him, no matter what- You focusing on a book you're reading or something on your computer- Only to glance up and see enlarged, slitted pupils staring at you- Far too many to fit in Ingo's eyes, and that you're half submerged in inky shadows dripping and clutching at your clothing. He quickly apologizes, pulling his hat down- But you flick it off to look into his pretty, shadowy eyes, giggling at how bashful he's being! And the older demon's face softens in a way it hasn't in a very long time as he pulls you against him, nuzzling against you.

Emmet grabs your hand and places it back on his head eagerly- Ingo, however, just looks up at you with the most pitiful expression- Wrapping his arms around you even tighter. A dark sigh leaves his form as he silently pleads for you to return to your ministrations- His hair flexing and twitching without your touch. At least he will use his words if you neglect him too long.

And if you kiss their hair? It elicits the rare happy whine from the two. Ingo leans into it, before trying to kiss you back- Emmet demands more kisses! He might as well be headbutting you- Give him more kisses!

They do become more human as time goes on; The longer they spend around you, the longer they spend among mortals, the easier it is to maintain their human appearances- Not that they want to, per se, but it does become easier. And Eldritch demons are more humanish in some ways- When mimicking mortal life, at least. They may be very powerful, and possess forbidden knowledge of the arcane and all that other weird jazz, but for all their greatness, they are imperfect. That imperfection is vital to understanding humans, whether they realize it or not.

This is really adorable Feather- Calling Ingo a light of your life when the only thing that really lights up on him is his eyes would actually be very endearing to him too.

And you think they want to be apart and only one on one with you? Of course not, they are sandwiching you in between their impossibly long tails and cuddling you in a big Demon pile! No better way to spend the night. Or the morning. Or maybe an afternoon nap. Or maybe an early night- Or even just laying together. Just- They really like holding you. Reallllly like holding you.

Yep! The thing is their physical bodies are not internally at all like a human's body. It wouldn't hurt him a lot, but...

Ingo would be very upset for a host of reasons, irregardless of how much or how little it hurt- There may be personal, eldritch reasons for this, or Ingo could simply be being the overprotective big Eldritch Brother.

Emmet and Ingo both have many hands and claws and tendrils to kiss- And they'll adore every kiss you bestow upon them.

Summary - Genshin characters playing laser tag with you their s/o.

A/N - Added in Scaramouche- But I couldn’t think of anything for Xingqiu. I can surprisingly see the majority of the Genshin boys being good at wielding guns, even though they’d probably suck lol

Laser Tag

Childe

Childe is a beast.

Whether it’s in the terrain of his battlefield, or the streets of Liyue playing laser tag, Childe plays to win. He’s always been the competitive type, enjoying the thrill of battle, or in this case, laser tag.

He loves the game.

And of course, you just have to end up on the opposite team as him.

This game is the perfect setup for an enemies to lovers kind of vibe btw. With him shooting at your comrades and eliminating them from left to right, and you doing the same for his team. Very few people stand against him in this game, and his accuracy and sense of battle.

The two of you will spend the entirety of the game playing cat and mouse. Childe chasing after you while you simply escape his sights every time, taking down his teammates while you’re at it.

Childe isn’t as interested in winning, and once you prove to be worthy of a decent laser tag battle, he tries his best to force you to confront him.

Of course you on the other hand take his reckless behaviour to your advantage to turn the game in your favour and strike down his team. You know it’ll piss him off later when you win.

However, it Childe does manage to catch you…

The two of you will fight, that much is obvious. Dodging and attacking him, he will get very into it. Maybe a little too much, but you don’t give in, not until the very end.

Not until he’s on top of you, the two of you toppled over a bunch of hay that cushions your fall when he crashes into you. Not until he’s holding the plastic revolver against your temple, staring straight into your eyes with his signature smirk.

He might sneak a little kiss in there just to throw you off.

But in the end he will make sure he wins, or rather, he eliminates you. He doesn’t care if he doesn’t win the entirety of the game, taking you down was satisfactory enough, and he feels well accomplished and content after.

Would definitely rub it in your face.

If you brush it off as something you didn’t really try in, be prepared to be pinned against the wall and kissed until you admit that you were in fact, doing your best. And yes, he won fair and square.

Bennett

Omg this precious boy-

Bennett will try his hardest, stick by your side and shoot at any approaching target. Considering that the two of you are on the same team, he will promise to protect you.

With one problem.

No matter how well he aims, whether it is going to hit his target or not, the lazer disagrees. Rather, his terrible luck absolutely ruins it and somehow his lazer point ends up somewhere completely else.

“It changed its direction completely!”

Well… you never know, maybe it’s the gun that sends the lazers ray so far off, but considering it’s Bennett, you know it’s no coincidence.

So you end up protecting him.

Dragging him from place to place and shooting down your opponents, the two of you spend your time tripping over random large ass rocks ( with only Bennett’s terrible luck to blame ) and attacking opponents.

You make sure that Bennett is not shot, no matter what. And you give everyone else a terrible glare that basically screams that if they shoot him, they’ll face your wrath.

Nobody shoots Bennett.

By the end of the game, he’ll be grinning ear to ear. And even if he didn’t manage to eliminate anyone, he’ll boast about how his amazing dodging skills pulled him through the game. You’ll agree, lacing an arm around his shoulders and pulling him to the good Hunter to get a good meal.

Just to buy one though, the poor boy can’t cook for his life.

Razor

“Razor… very confused.”

The wolf boy has difficulty with the rules of the game, but the concept of pointing the gun at an opponent and shooting them with a lazer isn’t too hard to grasp.

You find out very quickly that Razor is actually pretty good with aim.

His hands don’t shake for one, and he is so adept to his surroundings that people struggle finding the source of their depleting health. Despite being overall confused at how to play, Razor easily becomes one of the main players taking opponents down.

As someone on his team, he makes sure to keep you by his side the entire time. He understands the elimination part, and he doesn’t want his lupical to get taken out, even if it’s a game.

He can be oddly affectionate at certain times, pushing your face against his chest as he takes out the remaining players in the field you both are in. He will carry you, and take no hesitation when pulling you out of the way, even if it’s a little too rough.

When the game ends, it might take a while to explain to the poor boy that your team won. And that it was a good thing.

Razor will begin to smile when he notices how content you are with it.

Chongyun

This man has the audacity to wield a gun while licking his ‘popsicle.’

Like goddamnit Chongyun, being good at shooting is already a flex, you don’t have to nibble at your popsicle while you’re at it.

You can’t really blame him though, it’s hot outside, and with the sun beaming down on the poor boy's head you know he can’t stand it. Especially with all the adrenaline and yells from opposing teams.

As someone on the same team as him, you take on the job of Chongyun’s personal popsicle restocker, and shooting anyone down once he gets tired. As good as the boy is at shooting, he sucks at keeping himself unknown to the other players.

So you take on the job to make sure they don’t shoot him down.

The two of you are a good team, and if it gets too hot, Chongyun might even let you have one of his popsicles. Of course you don’t have his talent of being able to shoot while having a popsicle in your mouth-

Your team will end up losing though, and even though Chongyun isn’t bothered, he will be slightly worried if you care. The two of you were obviously trying your best, and as long as you both had fun that’s all that matters to him.

But if it really bothers you that much…

He knows you feel comforted by physical contact, so he’ll hold your hand and offer a comforting smile. Tell you that you played well, and that he had fun.

That cheers you up right away.

Kiss him on the cheek please, even though he will flinch at the contact, his cheeks are flushed red and he won’t admit it. But he likes it.

Albedo

Why is it so easy to picture Albedo as a hot sexy stoic mafioso wielding a gun?

Anyways, Albedo is terribly good at wielding a gun. So good at that he only holds the plastic revolver with one hand, never missing a shot as he walks down the streets of Monstadt.

He knows the area well, so good luck trying to sneak up on him. The way his eyes so carelessly sweep the buildings, it hardly looks like he’s trying. Eliminating players with his lasers as he mindlessly strides past the fountain.

Of course, you’re against him.

Albedo isn’t really motivated to play, he’d rather be in his lab experimenting or recording down his discoveries. But he was dragged into this mess, he might as well play his part and support his team.

Albedo won’t hesitate to shoot at you and take you down.

As much as you may be important to you, he plays this game fair and square. He will take you down, or rather, he will try, because you get creative :)

He knows Monstadt well, but he can’t possibly keep his eye on all angles around him. So you’ll aim for his blind spots, throw yourself at him and tackle him to the ground. Simply eliminating him isnt satisfying enough, you need more.

So you turn this into a little game to fluster him.

Tackle him and pin him down, watch him scramble for the gun and then give him a peck on the lips. Watch as his grip loosens, and one of his hands instinctively come to nestle against your hair to pull you closer, and then you pull away.

Watching his idle confusement turn into a light blush on his cheeks is just too good, and how he grows even redder when you start laughing is even better.

Of course his team wins, not that he cares.

The minute the game ends he’s back in his office, conducting experiments. You can go interrupt him though, sneak into his office and press a kiss against his neck. He doesn’t often react or do much to it, but after your linger kiss at the game, he will pull you close and sit you on his lap. Have a proper make out session after you left him hanging with that peck earlier ;)

Scaramouche

This little man is ‘terrifying’.

It’s scary enough that whether you’re against him or on the same team as him, you keep your distance.

“Are you avoiding me Y/n?”

You play on the same team, and even if he’s your boyfriend, you know better than to stay too close when it comes to battle. He shows his cruelty, and you really weren’t looking forward to be put in the middle of that.

‘Unfortunately you didn’t have a choice-‘

Scaramouche will literally drag you, a hand looped around your waist to tug you to his side and take you along with him as he takes down opponents after opponents. He doesn’t ask for your praise, but you still give him it knowing he appreciates it. Mentally.

When he’s tired or bored, he will lean his head on your shoulder, wait there for a bit before jumping back up and shooting a random straggler on the sides. Heavens knows how the boy knows he was there, it’s like he has some sixth sense.

We don’t even want to get into his accuracy and precision, Scaramouche is born a mafioso.

At the end when your team wins, no surprise, give him a hug. Tell him he did well and even if he tries to push away, hold him tight. Even though he could easily pull your arms away if he wanted to, he’ll just pretend to give a little struggle and then give in to your warmth.

🌋 VOLCANO - how bad is their temper? is it a slow boil, or a instant explosion?

kado doesnt care to hide his feelings so if he was really angry it would be an instant explosion but he is slower to anger than youd expect i think. surprisingly! maybe he doesnt look the type but he is. petty and random insignificant things can annoy him but he'll mostly deal with them with laughing at them, ridiculing them, etc instead of going in swinging....he loves to complain and be annoying and telling people straight up when he doesnt like them but i think its harder to make him like actually really mad (hes pretty much completely the opposite of kite in this way, who suppresses her anger until shes about to either faint from stress or actually kill someone)

oh for sure he keeps up a persona of not giving a fack a lot of the time and doesnt consider the feelings of strangers because he doesnt plan on ever seeing them again. hes an asshole LOL but i think hes actually most vulnerable when hes with his mommy. sadly hes probably the most closed off with zell, his brother (at least for now). hes in similar situations where zell and kite, since theyve known him since he was a kid he doesnt want to see them anymore. HE DOESNT REALLY HAVE FRIENDS (ANYMORE)! id put dove and crow under this category maybe though. hes pretty much like his surface persona but he does actually try to consider that they are people with feelings because he does care about them this time. I mean i say "surface persona" but like i said previously ^ he doesnt care to hide exactly how hes feeling so if you dig deeper into his soul youd just find the same guy except i dunno, hes also crying sometimes. hes an open book but with hidden compartments inside cut into the pages to hide guns and stuff

she comes from a rich family so shes had private tutors and expensive homeschooling growing up lol. she might have wanted to do something else with her life but after her parents died she inherited the family hotel business .... oh well theres other guys. shes very smart! she excels in physics, engineering and in the general area of science (written by a guy who isnt: ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

kado didnt go to school and sometimes when they were kids kite would try and teach him some things but he would always get frustrated and embarrassed and kite wasnt a very good teacher (shes good at doing the work but not explaining it in words)

i know i draw her going beast mode a lot cuz i always draw her in proximity to kado who activates her rage sleeper agent but shes actually usually pretty stoic and cold..so people would assume shes realyl stern and scary and like cold and emotionless but it is NOT true!!! shes actually very sensitive she just has a lot of trouble expressing herself and shes very very lonely. her only friend growing up was kado and with both him and her parents leaving her she doesnt have anyone to lean on ... becuse she was homeschooled and only had one really weird friend her social development is fucked and she has no guidance on how to go about being an adult so she subconsciously tries to emulate what she remembers of her parents and teachers who were strict (and emotionally distant so not the best role models but w/e) but you know. inside shes very lonely and insecure and doesnt have anyone to talk to. until haze comes allong everyone say thank you haze

CRASHES THROUGH THE CEILING OKAY LISTEN TO ME,, I HAVE THOUGHTS ABOUT DARK WOODS CIRCUS

okay i've been thinking about writing a fic about this song but i never manage to conjure up enough motivation to make through the 1st chapter dkbshshj,,,,, anyway

thinks about the girl in the PV is meiko and initially not that willing to go the circus, but then she goes anyway because hey! it sounds pretty interesting. like, the dark, unsettling vibes! and the dedication the twins put on their roles! the flyers are messy and clearly handdrawn, but meiko likes how much they put their hearts in it

while some sideshows are more fantastical and others more frightening, meiko keeps thinking that it's all a carefully-thought out act, even though she has a vague feeling of wrongness about the place. the main act, held in the black-striped red tent, is just as "wow cool, haha very fun and lowkey scary, cool"

but the freakshow performers (the kagamines, miku and kaito) are just... the most odd of them all. meiko just cant get out of her head that it looks too realistic and genuine — the way rin and len are stitched to each other into a single body, miku's legs that are bend backwards like a goat, how kaito feasts so gleefully and almost animalistically on corpses

and when meiko is captured, she realizes that everything is real and everyone is either not-really-here kind of vague or just sadistic. or both. another thing: what meiko perceived to be flower makeup on some performers' faces and bodies turn out to be severe burns

surprise, surprise! iroha the ringmaster is actually a witch who feasts on everybody's suffering until they wither away or for as long as she wants. iroha's been doing so for apparently centuries, some performers being so old that they naturally should be mere dust by then.

meiko becomes the Doll in the circus, being basically the choregirl. when she hands out flyers, iroha brainwashes meiko into acting like the kagamines since meiko cant act like that by her own will. she disagrees with iroha's orders at times, prompting punishment, but becomes determined to flee and free the others like miku, haku and neru

as time passes, some performers die, either from iroha feeding on them or because they helped meiko. meiko learns that rin, len, miku and kaito all knew each other closely before being kidnapped into the circus — along with a girl called meiko. though that meiko, miku claims, was a redhead clown who had died long ago, her face dissolved by acid. apparently, the ringmaster didnt like her beautiful face

miku used to be a noblewoman from the old ages, who was somewhat sickly and had weak legs. she loves old novels filled with flowery language and the sort, which explains her vocabulary. rin and len were her childhood friends, with whom she had a secret polyamorous relationship. kaito and meiko were the only ones who knew

meiko realizes that, while she was nevertheless loud and obsessively loyal to the ringmaster, rin did always seem to prioritize miku's safety. the times rin threw her under the bus whenever iroha even implied that she would do something to miku suddenly were cast under a different light. even under whatever spell iroha put on her, rin still loved miku, even if twisted by the wicked magic

len was much more obvious; he was always more outwardly affectionate towards miku, in his own shakesperean pattern of speech and action. out of them, he was the most lost-in-thought and vague, as if his brain is clouded by something and he cant seem to form a logical, straightforward thought

kaito... is nothing like he once was. he is but a mindless beast eating whatever is thrown at his direction, rarely lucid if at all. meiko notices that neither of them call him by the name, and according to miku, it's exactly because of how starkly different kaito is from the warm, exuberant young man they once knew

haku and neru came much earlier than them, much more perpetually disoriented and brain fogged up by magic. all they seemingly remember from their past selves is that they loved each other. they are but wispy shadows guarding the circus, now.

BUT HERE'S THE THING: as meiko elaborates a plan to get rid of iroha and destroy the circus, she feels herself growing distant from everyone. even during her talk to miku, she has intrusive thoughts of "why should i care? you were screwing around with your friends behind your parents' back. didnt you know fornication is a sin?". none of them sounds like her, it's like there is something poisoning her mind

as the day she'll execute her plan approaches, meiko starts picking up hints that there's something odd about iroha and how most performers only and solely call her "ringmaster". never by her name, or even "ringmaster iroha". it's always just "ringmaster". there are times miku and haku call her by the name to muse about certain past events that they oddly sound fond of

plus, miku was always blatantly fatalistic about meiko's plan, as if this has happened many and many times before and nothing ever changed. she'd gone jaded of escape plans. there is no hope for her or any performers in this dreadful circus. meiko always thought of it as simple pessimism, but then she comes to know:

iroha isnt the ringmaster, wasnt the first ringmaster. there were others

and every ringmaster had been a Doll in the past, who took the previous ringmaster's place by killing them. they always tried to free the others before growing tired of their sulking and lashing out at them, ultimately becoming a cruel shadow of their original selves.

and despite all things meiko'd seen iroha do, she's actually the best ringmaster that had taken control of Dark Woods Circus.

that's because iroha found out about the ringmaster cycle before falling prey to it. she had thought she could shake off the influence, but couldnt. all that remained from the real iroha was her obsessive desire to break the cycle

the day of the plan comes, and meiko moves with the intention to get rid of iroha, but then declares that she wont do that. because if it means that meiko will become yet another ringmaster, then her efforts will come to naught

meiko thinks that relief crosses iroha's face for a second, but then something forces iroha to taunt and infuriate meiko as to anger her and make her lash out at her. it just makes meiko confused and frightened; it doesnt sound like iroha at all. even at her cruelest, her threats were more implied and swiftly, cleanly done. she'd never submitted to taunting.

the more time passes without meiko acting, the more desperate iroha sounded, pratically begging meiko to kill her. her form contorts and twists. then, something bursts out of iroha that meiko cannot describe as anything but a black mess of what she supposed to be the twisted screaming souls of the ringmasters melded together. a wide-eyed, ten meters tall thing that reeks of malice and regret

it tries to sink through meiko's mouth, but she dashes out of the tent before it catches her. around her, she notices that the oldest performers are distorting into creatures similar to the Ringmaster. some attempted to capture meiko while others simply wail pitifully in pain. haku and neru, even in their twisted forms, try to help meiko the best they can with their spindly limbed bodies, stalling the Ringmaster

the throwing daggers do no damage to it and meiko wont get closer enough to whack it with something. however, the more time it spends out in the air the more it seems... exhausted? weaker? meiko supposes that it'd never spent too much time without a vessel. if the dolls had to kill the current ringmaster to assume their place and that thing tried to crawl into meiko's mouth, then it seemingly needed a vessel to survive. she didnt have any other choice, she had to stall as long as she could until it died by itself

the circus falls apart around them as meiko continues to avoid being caught. the souls making it up melt and dissolve, one by one, until only one remains restlessly chasing after meiko in spite of its clear exhaustion. the performers, too, die and crumble into dust or melt into pools of dark goo, and when meiko notices, there's only her, the remaining soul and the very few performers who were kidnapped too recently to feel the passage of time

the remaining ringmaster crawls pitifully towards meiko, its form rotting away from legs up, and when it grabs her ankle, it only has enough time to sigh with a smile that seems to say "thank you" before dying as well

nothing of the infamous Dark Woods Circus remained anymore. the performers who had spent centuries suffering the hellish circus were finally dead. those who were alive were free from its clutches and horrors.

and meiko could finally breathe again, with a clear mind
