Me studying fashion and drawing my favourite characters in it? Who would've guessed.
This was an old scrapped design for a Gem dress bc I felt like it would fit better for someone like Stress since her whole thing is faeries. Maybe I'll make a moth version for Pearl someday.
I kinda wanna design some stuff for other hermits but I got no clue who so I guess for now we're sticking with Gem.

I like the idea that Mai and Ty Lee were protecting Azula from rudeness and bad habits, just wanting her to be "pure" so she would never say an insult or something.
Until they leave and see Azula again and she just says "fuck you" to Zuko at one point, and they immediately have a heart attack.

Adding to the ‘wild machete out in the public sphere crowd’ — walking past a very handsome machete-esque dog doing a stately trot, but it was raining and while his body was protected by a quilted dog-jacket, his head and tail were bedraggled as fuck.
It was amusing

Women don't shave because men want them to look like children, they shave because razor companies wanted to make more money and spent decades framing body hair as unhygienic and shaving as luxurious and mature, something that women with the time to spend doing some pointless cosmetic thing and the money to spend on razors and shaving creams and all their other products do because they're rich and beautiful and important.
That's it. It's capitalist bullshit dependant on misogyny and on creating new misogynistic beauty standards and kids have absolutely nothing to do with it.

I DO get this post and I think many interesting things HAVE BEEN done with this concept, and it can be explored,
but there is something so fundamentally western about this post because cannibalism was and is one of the top 3 excuses for colonialism!! The very real and varied forms of exocannibalism and endocannibalism practices by the natives of the Americas was, and still is, the easiest route to dehumanize them and justify the atrocities committed against them!
Cannibalism is a powerful western taboo and I get the appeal of using it as a metaphor to talk about other taboos, and I do think such an approach could be done successfully and with nuance, and maybe I'm being unfair to a one-sentence post -- but oh the way this comes across in the context of the actual, real life history! The inescapability of discussing colonialism always on the moral playing field of the colonizers! What does signalizing the monstrosity of colonialism through cannibalism say about the colonized who ate, indeed, the flesh of other men?

demon Binah helping the witch that saved her gather supplies around the woods.
you gently insist that she come with you, after spending so long cooped up in your little cottage. even demons need fresh air. she's reluctant to leave the safety you've provided, the corner she's taken to resting in even with the nightmares and pain, but eventually relents. it's a bit of a strange sight, you with your hat and basket and her with her bandaged wings and imposing horns. if she was at her full strength, the ground would rot where she stood. for now it stays fresh and green, perhaps a little bedraggled as she follows you through the trees.
there's not actually a particularly desperate need for her to help you, and you hurry to explain that you won't force her and that she can look around as long as nothing bad happens. you simply thought it'd be good for her to get outside for a couple of hours. Binah merely stares at you, ever apathetic, silently remaining by you and watching each movement. occasionally her talons will gently graze your wrist, an unspoken request for you to tell you about whatever you're currently holding. she listens, too, drinking in the words you speak. Binah likes poisons most of all. just like you. eventually she does wander off and out of sight, only returning when the sun is about to set.
there's a golden wildflower clutched in her claws, slightly wilted from her presence. she hesitates, just barely, before extending a hand and delicately tucking the blossom behind your ear, as she's seen countless humans do to the ones they feel soft for.

Crime Show Meme - CSI insp [1/5 characters]
"You are all family... which is why... this is the hardest decision I've ever made. I mean, how could I leave this place? How could I leave all of you? But not only are you in great hands, you are a rock-solid, bad-ass team of criminalists, and don't ever forget it." - Catherine Willows (portrayed by Marg Helgenberger, 2000 - 2012)

Always on my mind how Elliott completely hides how miserable he was the whole time until he gets closer with the farmer. Depressed and exhausted, lonely to the core, so sucked into proving his dreams to himself that he doesn't know how to act the moment something happens that goes beyond what his mask of elegance is trained for. Being a depressed autistic artist myself I see how much he's compensating so clearly.

Without a doubt, the sheer eroticism of the paper cutter is unmatched among other office supplies. all the brutality of a guillotine yet possessing such grace. Unlike its contemporaries (hole puncher, stapler etc) the paper cutter is no brute; its movements are smooth, easy. And its utility is unmatched. perfectly straight edges cut with dexterity and efficiency far superior to scissors or razors. Its handle, with its sharp blade and its slight, curved grip is delightfully contrasted with its base, which provides a sturdy, butch foundation to an otherwise effete design.
Imagine a stack of paper needing just a one inch trim. You slide the papers into place, and grasp tenderly the smooth handle of the blade. Its slight curve sinks down as you put more of your weight on it, your grip turned tight and wanton; the curved blade glides smoothly through the paper with no resistance. Its sound is crisp and clean as your muscles work to force the blade to yield: a true audio-sensual experience. Then, the handle comes to a stop. A small pile of inch-thick paper strips lies just by the blade, slightly disheveled in a way which betrays your rendezvous. You take your stack in hand and leaf through it: papers just one inch slimmer than they were.
