A/N: chat there is no way I put out 2 fic in the past week, this has never happened to me before! yay everyone cheer. again, i have no idea where this story is going how far im gonna go, i def want to try writing other stuff and idk if this is the best place to put and end to whatever this series is but again, we shall see i guess. thank you all so much on the love on my last two works you have no idea what that means to me! please please PLEASE send me asks or comment what you'd like me to write next or if you want a pt4 i need help people

Facing your fears is tough. No matter what it is, no one would actually choose putting themselves through a situation in which they know would cause them extreme distress. For some that may be going on a rollercoaster, interacting with a clown, going into a dark forrest alone, it could even be making a phone call by yourself to schedule a doctor's appointment (which is a valid fear to have, thank you very much.)

And here you were, facing your fears: being sat in your living room with Steve Harrington 3 feet away from you for an extended period of time. It's only been about 15 minutes, where no talking has happened since minute two.

You hope you can get to 30 minutes without fainting.

As you attempted to focus on the book in front of you, Jane Austen's words, who usually kept your focused for hours on end, were not being absorbed by you in the slightest. How could they, when Steve fucking Harrington was in your house.

Steve is the type of guy who Jane Austen would write about, you thought, eyes flickering towards him as he hunched over his book, face crinkled in concentration, trying to understand said author's musings.

The swoop of his hair, the two moles near his neck, his deep, beautiful, chocolate eyes, his gorgeous smile, and my god those arms? Yep, Jane would be absolutely obsessed with him.

"God, why did I agree to do this book?" You are snapped out of your daze at Steve's words. "What do you mean?", you replied. He gave you a look that can only be described as "seriously?"

"I mean, that I can barley understand what any of these characters are saying half the time, and honestly, it's a bit boring. I thought you would have better book recommendations," he said, running a hand through his hair to push it out of his face.

A scoff left your mouth before you could stop it. "Excuse me, are you actually hating on Pride and Prejudice, the best romance story of all time, the romance story, period." You leaned over and snatched his book. "I mean, come on! You are literally only 6 pages in, you can't just judge it that quickly, you haven't even gotten to the good parts yet!", you exclaim.

Steve watched you with an amused look on his face, unbeknownst to you, who kept rambling on, trying to convince Steve this book was worth continuing.

"— and Elizabeth, she is just funny, like actually hilarious. There is one part where she basically tells someone that I'd rather not be wasting my air talking to someone like you, like please, how did she even come up with that? Also, I'm just obsessed with this proper English style of speaking, or writing I guess, because they're basically talking shit but covering it up with fancy words! And when—"

"You talk a lot, don't you?"

You look up from the book and towards Steve, eyes widening slightly, realizing you had indeed been talking too much.

"One of my greatest faults, some may say, and by faults I mean my mom, but she only tells me this when we're arguing, so..." You glance away from Steve's face for a little reprieve. God, he's so hot.

"Well, like a good partner," you continue. "I'm trying to help you get some of this project done, and maybe if Robin were here, she could've helped," you defended yourself, crossing your arms, "which I'm still confused about, by the way. You said something about her telling you earlier how I invited you guys and some other people to work on the project together, but then she doesn't show?"

Steve leans back in his chair, also crossing his arms. You glance down for a quick second and send a quick thank you to anyone who's that Steve is wearing a tight shirt that beautifully enunciates his biceps. Or maybe you should be mad at them, you don't know yet.

"Maybe it's the fact that she noticed, like I did, that it's been a month since this project was assigned and we haven't even started," Steve countered, "which is unlike you, you usually want to get stuff done ASAP."

You look at him in confusion. "How the fuck do you know that?"

Steve smirks, "I also happen to know that you don't have a sister, thanks to that lovely dinner with your mom." You shake your head in disbelief, mentally making a note to yell at your mom later.

"Isn't that what you said one of the many times I asked you to work on the project?" Steve looked so amused with himself, all cocky and proud that he had uncovered your lie. Your brain tried desperately to come up with a realistic enough explanation, but nothing was coming up.

You throw your hands up in defeat. "Ok, fine! I lied! Is it just so hard for you to believe that maybe, just maybe, not everyone in that high school wants to spend time with you outside of it?" Oh my God, why the fuck would you say that, you screamed internally.

Steve stared at you for a second before letting out a chuckle. " You know, I did think of that actually, but only for a bit." He reaches out for the book and grabs it from your grasp, flipping to a random page.

"You can only run away from a guy so many times before he catches a hint," he peers over at you, " and I mean literally, you're a fast runner, did you ever do track?"

"Yeah, in middle school," you answer quickly. Steve lets out a hum of agreement before placing his attention back on the book. You open your mouth, about to quip about being careful to not rip the pages when he speaks again. "I know I'm dumb, but I'm not an idiot, ya know?"

Your gaze snaps to his face. "Steve, I don't think you're dumb." He doesn't look too convinced. "Eh, I think you do. But you're interesting, you took me a lot longer to figure out than the others since girls just typically throw themselves at me."

You make a face of disgust, "Ok, you sound like a total prick, you know."

"Yep, heard it after I said it, but that's not the point here." He point his finger at you, "You have a crush on me."

You splutter out a sound of indignation. "Hello, what?" In your head, fire alarms are sounding. It's a code red, all hell is breaking loose. "Pfft, no I absolutely do not."

Steve raises his eyebrows. "Then how else do you explain the running away when you see me anywhere at school? You always have an insane excuse why we're not able to meet up to start the project, which some are hilarious," he admits, "but you've got me complaining about not doing homework, look what you've done to me!"

At this point you've gone silent, mouth agape with an excuse stuck in your throat refusing to come out. Steve's expression has changed, his eyes bore into yours with earnest, almost as if he's anticipating a certain answer, hoping for it. "So?"

You muster all the courage you have left and just when you're about to respond, Steve interrupts you again for like, the 15th time.

"Anyways, I've to get going, have some things to do and whatever." He gets up, shrugs on his jacket and then places his books in his backpack. You get up too, having absolutely no clue how to tell him not to go, that you want him to stay. "Steve, what do you mean?"

He glances over at you, "Nothing, I just have to go. I'm a busy guy." He starts making his way to your front door, leaving you behind in the kitchen, trying to understand what the fuck just happened. First, he accuses you of having a crush on him, which you do, and then he just thinks he can leave?

Oh, absolutely not.

With a new wave of determination, you catch up to Steve just as he's finishing putting on his shoes. "Say thanks to your mom for me for dinner, it was great," he says as he grabs the door handle. You don't let him continue with whatever stupid thing he was going to say next.

"Listen Harrington, I don't know what the fuck just happened back there, but the fact you think can just, leave after dropping a bomb like that is ridiculous," you say, glaring at him in annoyance, and Steve's just staring back at you with that stupid, stupid, smirk that has not left his face since the moment he stepped foot in here.

"So what if I did like you, huh? What if I did have a crush on you? Because I do, but that, quite frankly, is none of your business, none of your concern, actually, so... yeah." Steve is looking at you and you're looking at him, a little out of breath after your declaration. You don't have the energy right now to fully process what you just said.

All of a sudden, Steve seems to break character, the smugness gone, replaced with subtle endearment. He leans down and presses a swift kiss on your cheek before whispering, "Well, it's a good thing I like you too." He straightness back up and says, "I told you I knew you were different, you're a mystery. You're lucky running away seemed to work on me, by the way. I don't think it would for everyone else," he says while you stare at him in shock. You've been rendered silent once again, with nothing but the thought that Steve likes you back, repeating over and over again.

You clear your throat before speaking, "Well! Um, yay?" You truly have no idea what to do right now. Steve chuckles at your reaction, like he can't believe his words have caused you of all people, who continuously talk and talk and talk, to not have anything profound to say for once. He's kind of into it.

Steve grabs your hand and encases it with the other. "Come over to my house tomorrow after school, I'll drive you. We can work on the project and you know, talk, if you want." You nod fervently, "Yeah, yeah ok."

He smiles and drops your hand. "I really do have to go though, I wasn't making that up," he remarks as he opens the front door. "Oh, sure, that's fine," you reply. You hold open the door for him and watch as he descends the steps and makes his way towards his car. You watch him, holding onto the door for dear life.

As Steve gets into the car, he looks over at you and waves, "I'll see you tomorrow!" You wave back and yell back, "Yeah, tomorrow!" You don't go back inside until the car is out of sight. As you shut the door, you press your back against it, trying to wrap your head around what exactly happened in the last few hours.

Holy shit, you though, Steve Harrington likes me. Steve fucking Harrington. You let out an involuntarily squeal of excitement and immediately regret doing it as your mother calls down from upstairs. "Mija, are you ok? What happened?" Hearing her voice reminds you of her involvement over the events that transpired tonight.

Putting your happiness on hold for a moment, you start to storm up the stairs. "Mom!", you yelled, "How could you embarrass me like that, asking him to stay over for dinner, you know how I feel about him, I just about fainted 5 times throughout the night, how does that make you feel!? You almost killed me an—"

You would thank your mom later, because ultimately she helped, but for now, you'll stick to this.

The Be My Valentine Challenge is a challenge for writers, artists, and just any kind of creator, from the first of February to the 14th!

The idea is to create thirteen smaller, lead-up pieces based on the prompts; for example, ficlets/drabbles/one-shots, couplets, small artworks, individual gifs, et. cetera - and finish the challenge with a larger work; a fic, a full poem, a gifset, a big artwork, whatever sparks for you!

They can be a series or separate, and you're free to change mediums or fandoms for different days. If you'd rather create fourteen small works, or all large ones, or a combination of both, that's completely up to you! Prompts can be used after the event, combined, just do whatever! Only "properly" used prompts will be reblogged to this page, however.

When She’s Gone, the Darkness Comes – Oof. It was so sad I had to write a second chapter. I much prefer happy endings (teen)

All of them have a happy ending of some kind, or they will once they’re completed. Though there are some with happy endings like Speak Now and Tis the Damn Season. Smut. I’m talking about smut (explicit)

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Yeah, though I’ve been mostly lucky. I don’t know why people leave hate on any fics really. If you don’t like something, close the tab.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Yes. It started as a small scene here or there when it was a natural progression of the fic, but now I occasionally right full smut fics and pwp like those found here (explicit)

Kind of, but the characters are all from within the Arrowverse/ DC Comics universes somewhere.

I’m currently working on one with @thatonebirdwrites, though it's not published. It’s a Supercorp fic where Kara is a building inspector and when she goes to inspect Lena’s home, she meets Lena’s daughter to tells her the floor is lava, so naturally Kara has to ensure that issue gets resolved.

Supercorp. But I do love most wlw ships

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I intent to finish all of my active WIPs. I have some WIP ideas that may or may not ever get going, but once I start a fic, I intend to finish it.

I have no idea… I guess easter egg type stuff or like blending canon into storylines. If your a reader and there's something you think is a strength I have, let me know.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Actually writing. Words be hard. And it's hard to find the time.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I do it sometimes, probably not well. I like to include the translation in the fic (unless the characters themselves aren’t supposed to understand until later). But I'm sure the translations aren't fully right as I only use google translate and the Kryptonian dictionary.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Supercorp. I started writing fiction in Dec 2020. Before that it was all scientific research papers for uni.

20. Favorite fic you've written?

I suppose What Has Been Lost (Mature). It was what started this crazy adventure, has been the most challenging piece, and my longest (still ongoing). It truly blends lore and characters from across the Arrowverse and DC Comics into a human world and original storyline.

THIS WAS HARD UM I would love to read a Pride and Prejudice themed fic. Obviously Nanami Kento would be the MC/Mr. Darcy and obviously, I would be the reader. I come from a low middle class family, my sisters are insufferable except for my closest in age who is quiet and shy. I hate men (I truly do) and reject all societal norms that dictate I marry for something other than love. But WAIT, Nanami is the new neighbor, he’s broody, stoic and well-mannered, said something out of turn at the local ball and now we hate each other (we don’t), hands brush, rain arguments, barely there kisses and—

…anywho. I think for a fic like that, and the way I absorb words, I would like someone who writes emotionally and descriptively. So maybe @pmpmyread @rahuratna @flaneur001 (yes YOU), @pseudowho or @wibben

Hello hello! If I'm not too late for the director's cut ask, would say something about false dichotomy please? I love that fic so much! You've got mail is such a classic and you've made that au so so charming, it brings me a lot of joy 🤍

I talked a bit about the OCs in False Dichotomy here, but I'll take this opportunity to talk about the changes I made from the movie! I'm putting these behind a cut because there are some pretty big spoilers for the fic itself.

@kiwiana-writes wrote a line in one of his director's cut replies about how, when adapting an existing storyline to an AU fanfic, story has to bend to fit character, and I think this fic is the perfect example of that principle. Although the setup of Henry as the heir to a corporate empire and Alex as the 'little guy' does fit at first blush, Henry isn't Joe and Alex isn't Kathleen. In fact, personality-wise, they're just about flopped. There are aspects of Kathleen that are so ridiculously Henry-esque, particularly her love of Pride and Prejudice and also her grief over a parent's death.

I'd like to add, before I get into some of the details, that while I made a bunch of fairly significant changes to better fit the characters, it was important to me to capture the spirit of You've Got Mail. That means not shying away from the small shop's closing, and also staying true to the joy of the finale moment (though this moment comes before the end of the fic). I've read a lot of YGM AUs where, upon the final reveal, the Kathleen-character is often justifiably angry and there's additional angst where the Joe-character has to do some groveling, and yes, it makes sense for those characters to do that, but IMO it kind of fails as an adaptation of the source material because you lose the emotional impact of the original. Which is not to say these stories aren't good or that they don't do what they want to, but to me, the trick to a good media AU is walking that tightrope between originality and honoring the source material. It's not an easy thing to do, IMO. ETA: Of course there are also the times where you like one part of the original media but hate the rest so you say fuck this and fix it, which is completely valid! That's one of the things fanfic is for! I'm also very aware that some people feel that way about YGM lol. But there are those of us who love it despite its flaws, and I wanted to write this fic for them too.

Some more discussion of specific changes I made behind the cut, for spoiler reasons.

Critically, Alex would absolutely not react the same way Kathleen did upon finding out Henry hadn't told him who he was. I strongly felt he needed to be the one to find out Henry's identity first to give him time to come to terms with it and realize that Henry wasn't the person he thought he was. Meanwhile, Henry was much more likely to be forgiving of the long 'deception'/withholding of information because he's been in love with Alex from the start. I also thought having Henry angst over being in love with two 'different' people would be more fun lol.

A big change I honestly always forget about is of course not having them being in relationships with other people. I suppose at the time this was a good excuse for why Joe and Kathleen never met up, but now it's not odd that you might have a long-term internet friendship with someone that never goes beyond online. But I also absolutely did NOT want to fuck with partners and the ending of relationships and all of that noise. No thanks.

I considered doing the 'journalist writes a story about Under the Rainbow' storyline using June as the journalist, but in the end decided it wouldn't really add anything. Instead I added the whole Okonjo shelter storyline, which gave me the excellent excuse to sow doubts in Alex about Henry's awfulness along with being a step forward in Alex's bisexual awakening/coming out storyline.

Finally, I obviously added quite a bit beyond where the movie ends. Romcom movies can get away with end scene on the big kiss, but I wanted to show not only their conversations about what had happened but also the happy ending for Under the Rainbow. It was important to me that it wasn't as simple as the shop closing, the end. I found it kind of funny about how mad some people were about UTR's closing and corporations winning, considering that in the end I freed UTR from the shackles of capitalism to be the best community center/library version of itself.

Do you enjoy research?  Which fic of yours required the most research?

I love researching for fics. I love looking up as much interesting shit as I can. The downside to that is that I often will end up down a rabbit hole of completely unrelated shit. 😅

As for which fic has required the most research, I really can't be sure. My First Impressions Pride and Prejudice fic involved an audiobook re-listen before I decided to go off of the 2005 movie because that was a bit easier to deal with.

Similar with the recent Anastasia AU I wrote, I watched the movie multiple times as I wrote it and went into a deep dive on The Winter Palace and tobacco production in pre-revolution Russia for the smell from Wayne that triggers a memory for Eddie. Ekaterina Nikolaevna Shaposhnikova took over her husbands tobacco factory when he died and became known as the 'Queen of Tobacco' in Russia for a little bit so it made sense to me that Wayne would smoke that.

Even then it would be smaller bits of research for different fics. What movies/tv shows would be out at the time, what technology was available, what albums/songs were available, the laws around sodomy or the legal drinking age or same sex marriage as well as constantly quizzing my husband about what a particular injury/attack/sickness would do to a body to try and make it as real as possible.

I don't expect to get everything 100% accurate 100% of the time but I try my best and that's all that I can do in the end. 😊

How do you deal with writing pressure, whether internal or external?

So when it comes to external pressure I'm happy to say I haven't recieved an awful lot of it. As is usual in fandoms most people are very sweet and just as passionate about the things they love as the rest of us. So when they come to me begging for a part 2 or and extension to a fic that I consider done I don't really see it as pressure, I take it more as a compliment because I've been there. I know what it's like to have a piece of writing infect my brain to the point I want another 30k+ words and would drink it up and to me that's a high compliment.

I'll never say never when someone asks me if something else will be written but I cannot force myself to write something I have no inspiration to write. So if the inspiration hits again for a story I've considered complete, I'll extend it. But if the story stays complete in my head, I won't force myself because it'll turn out shit and make me not want to do it and no one wants that.

But when it comes to internal pressure?

Pressure from inside my own head?

Well that's a little more difficult.

I come from a quite crative family. My sister has a degree in Fine Art and is a baker by trade. My brother is a sound engineer and a drummer in a metal band. My brothers girlfriend is a textile artist.

The one thing they've all told me is to not pay attention to the numbers and I was really good at doing that for a while.

Until I wasn't.

Until I started to feel obsessed about how successful or unsuccessful a fic was getting.

How my numbers were stacking up against other people's and the interaction they were getting that I wasn't and it gradually started to eat away at my passion.

I no longer felt accomplished whenever I published anything and kept trying to force myself to write things that would be more popular that I didn't necessarily want to read myself or want to write.

I don't do that anymore. I haven't actually published anything from that era of my life and I won't. It's not what I want to do.

I've had to pull myself out of my head and stop obsessively tracking my numbers and start writing for me again like I did at the start.

I love writing.

I love it.

So dealing with internal pressure has become a regular thing of getting myself to stop and breathe and really look at what I've written down.

Is this actually something I'd want to read or is it something I think other people want to read?

Nowadays that answer is almost always the former. I do passion projects and am trying my hardest not to care if people don't love it as much as I do.

But that's okay, it's a journey and at the end of the day this is not my job, it's a hobby and I'm allowed to be self indulgent and write what I want to.

A little bit long winded and I got into my feelings a tad, sorry about that! 😅

I was rewatching Pride and Prejudice as one does and then it hits me like a truck.

it’s crazy because I had another song from this same album off beabadoobee that I made the same thing where i dedicated the song for Draco, so listen here

this music starts with “you made it, it’s your last day on earth” but in my fanfic, let’s call it that, “earth” it’s actually hogwarts. So in this scenario we’re in the 7th book, where Voldemort asks Draco to kill Dumbledore and other stuff. So… it’s his last on “earth” because he is not coming back, after killing the principal and helping Voldemort, he’s getting out of hogwarts…

than we have other lyrics in the music that say “you killed someone last night, you burned down on a church”.

what’s was asked for Draco to do? Kill someone, he killed? No, but in this story Reader doens’t know that.

the burned down thing is associated with Hagrids house been put up fire just bc it would make a little sense, and it was Draco’s falt that Voldemort followers where there in Hogwarts and they destroyed everything…

moving on… in other part of the music we have the following “you got a problem with Pete, you got a problem with John”

I think that’s kinda obvious, Draco has a problem with Harry and Ron. In my head Reader would be childhood friends with the Weasley kids and eventually them would be friends with Harry too.

the rest of the song matches too, but I think these are the lyrics that match perfectly with story I have im my mind, I don’t have everything made up

But in this story, Reader and Draco would have a strange relationship where they hate and like eachother, I don’t know if enemies to lovers, but they always were attracted to eachother in a way, they just had the prejudice and pride (you know what I mean). So eventually they start to understand eachother and yeah…

So... why do you like the narrator so much?

oh- oh bud, you've opened a can of worms here.

first, his ego. i dunno how it was accomplished, but somehow he comes off as charming more than anyone else. he boasts about how great his own work is, and instead of being repulsed or rolling my eyes (which is usually what happens when i run across egotistical characters) i am thinking to myself, 'yeah! praise your own work! you deserve it!' dude's got an ego the size of a planet, and it's hilarious.

secondly, his earnestness. he wants more than anything else, to pull of a successful story and receive adoration from an audience. if you mess around in the expo long enough he'll talk about how he has so many things he wants to show 'you' (interpretation is in the air on whether or not he's talking to stanley, or us. or both?) he wants this story of his to work so bad, and at his more tender moments (like the memory zone pre... horrors... he genuinely wants to make his audience happy. and speaking of tenderness-

third, that secret hidden side of him. now, this is open to interpretation more than anything else, but there are moments- very small and easily missable moments- that proves this guy has a heart of some kind. when he talks about being happy during the zending, him letting us into an area- THAT HE HID FROM THE DEVELOPERS!!!!!- the fucking french song about the memory zone?????? there is something honest to god tender in him that makes me go feral. i always wonder how he'd operate as a friend to someone outside the context of the parable, which is one of the focus points of the longfic of mine.

fourth, his voice. Kevan Brighting really knocked the performance out of the park, and his range is undeniable. they found a VA who can be sweet, manipulative, malicious, and snarky without overdoing it. he has the range, darling. and uh- y'know,,, i've always loved someone who can rock a nice baritone. goddamn. zoo wee, his voice is lovely, and i could listen to it all day. not everyone liked ultra deluxe for one reason or another, but i was just overjoyed to get more dialogue from him. i think there's two, maybe three hours of extra content, and oooooogh, it really filled a need.

fifth, his snark and sarcasm. i could talk at length all day about this aspect of him. he's so goddamn funny. the way he repeatedly roasts us is fantastic, and driving him off script again and again is a never ending source of entertainment for someone who tends to overreact to characters getting 'burned'. you should have seen me the first time i read pride and prejudice, there are some delicious moments of snark that i used to shout about.

sixth, he's a fucking dork with a poor understanding of humanity. from the uranium line in the demo to the guitar song when you fall out of a window, this dude is a dramatic dork, and i love him for it. this goes hand in hand with his people pleasing tendencies, and i just wanna hug him so bad.

seventh, his relatability. i write a lot, and some struggles are universal among writers. his desire for praise, his frustrations when a script doesn't go to plan, and at the end of the figurine ending, when he talks about his need for companionship and loneliness? as someone who doesn't socialize IRL that often, and who has used fictional characters as both a means of escape and as company during rough times in my life, i've never felt a click that strong with a character before. i felt like i understood him so well in that moment.

eighth, (8!) i just empathize with him so much. the poor bastard is stuck in an eternal loop, doomed by the narrative that he himself constructed. this dude desires freedom so much but can never quite have it due to the structure of his story and his own flaws of being unable to let go- (both his story and negative feedback)- he's an utterly tragic character which is why my fic focuses on giving him an actual happy ending.

anyway, there's eight reasons for you. give me a few hours and i'm sure i could come up with eight more.

someone needs to give this dude a blanket and a hot drink. he's been through too much. and truth be told, besides his overly antagonistic side which crops up in a few endings, i don't think there's a single aspect of him i don't like. i dunno man, i'm pretty soft hearted, and there are days i just want to give him a hug and say, 'you are so loved, you have no idea. you have millions of fans, and i'm one of your biggest'

alrighty I know you are most probably swamped by asks but I just wanted you to know that I absolutely adore your take on VLD. As someone who loves to pick and choose to build from canon rather than outright ignoring it, it's so lovely to see someone put in as much effort as you do and build the world you have. Even all the galra culture, biology, etc. headcanons. They are wonderful. I honestly can't thank you enough because I keep thinking about all the ways VLD was a wasted opportunity and get sad. BUT! Then I remember your fic and blog and feel better again.

I can't get enough of the nuance you weave in, how real you make all of them seem. The conflict, the slow but sure way in which they learn to erase the prejudice in their heads, the gradual build of trust, the devastating guilt. And oh, the way you deal with morality *chef's kiss*. It's so refreshing.

I have so much more to say about the how you write Keitor (the breathless intensity in each of their interactions,,,,, sweet mercy) and Matt and Keith's relationship (I have always imagined them as friends for inexplicable reasons and I was delighted to see it as a part of your fic) but I'm gonna stop the rant. If I don't then I might just go on and talk about how every single relationship is so beautifully balanced in your fic and that would,,,, be a little too long of a rant lmao.

in conclusion - you are amazing, your fic is amazing, I have reread it more times then I can possibly hope to count, I thank you for it <3

I do like to think of myself as rather carefully selective when it comes to canon, but that, combined with all the worldbuilding I've done (my pride & joy) and further fueled by the curious prompting I receive on here has really come together to form a version of the voltron universe that has so much more depth than I ever really intended!

I'm very pleased (and a touch relieved) to be reminded that people are actually //enjoying// this slowburn monstrosity, rather than sitting there like "ah,, another 10k and yet keitor are STILL at the stolen glances stage, when will she get on with it?" because for all i like to think that my pacing suits the narrative I'm telling (and that the narrative itself, with all its many threads, is still an interesting one).... it's hard to know for sure.
