summary: after one fateful conversation with gojo-sensei, itadori finally realized the importance of his feelings for you.
warnings: fluff!
authors note: this was so cute and so fun to write! enjoy!
windy afternoons were always the most troublesome.
especially in spring, between the brink of winter and summer, when the temperature is warm but the breeze is oh so cold, leaving someone who was minding their business to be left as victim of the weather, not sure what emotion it might be feeling that day.
unfortunately, itadori was one of those said people. so he found himself lounging inside Jujutsu high instead of his usual hobbies he took part of outside, instead occupying himself with manga he’d found lying on the couch side table.
he chewed on a strawberry pocky as he read, awfully invested in the story of the book in his arms, even though it was the third volume. who knew he would be so invested in a shoujo manga?
“hm? you’re here too?” Gojo’s voice rang playfully across the walls of the lounge, causing the pink haired boy to jerk his head to the side to meet the teasing gaze of his teacher.
“ooh, gojo-sensei,” he greeted, watching as his teacher lazily took a seat beside him on the couch, relaxing in the soft cushions.
“why’re you here? i thought you usually get lunch out.” he rose brow at his teacher, who’s smirk failed to fade. “same reason as you. it’s too windy!” he whined, scratching his head as his head pointed upward, only to pause for a moment before turning to face yuji.
Itadori couldn’t see his teachers eyes, but knew they were on him. “where’s y/n-chan? you two are always together.” satoru’s tone had a hint of something yuji couldn’t quite place his finger on, and so he decided to ignore it. “She’s with kugisaki. they went shopping.” he grinned at the thought, unaware of the absolute teasing eyes that were trained on the glint in his own eyes.
“ah, girls,” Gojo tsked, crossing his arms, looking straight ahead. “especially nobara.” he hummed, pausing a few before turning back to his student.
Satoru smirked and scooted closer, Yuji side glancing him at the mischievous smile on his face. “so, itadori-kun,” gojo mused, “what’s your relationship with y/n-chan?” the white haired man almost laughed at the confused expression on itadori’s face, he swore he saw question marks on either side of his head
“huh? what do you mean?” his head tilted to the left a little, “we’re friends.”
gojo hummed, nodding his head as if he understood. “really? i wouldn’t have thought that.” he put a lengthy finger to his chin, holding in his amusement. sometimes his student was so oblivious.
“hah? why?” itadori nudged, looking more and more confused as the seconds continued. his sensei shrugged, “i guess because you two always seem so close, i mean— i would’ve thought you two were boyfriend and girlfriend!” satoru said those two words loudly, quickly looking to yuji in excitement to see the absolutely bewildered look that was likely to be on his face, but was only met with a neutral one. gojo’s joy fell. damn kids.
"oh. well, we're just friends, it's not like that with me and her, you know?" he said back, his eyes glistening over as they usually do when he talks about someone he cares for, but his were extra bright when talking about you.
"Why not?" gojo mused, continuing to milk the subject.
Itadori shrugged, “We just.. we've known each other too long, I think." his reply came with a low tone to it as he flipped to the next page of the shoujo in his lap, unaware of the buzzing man beside him.
Satoru hummed again, silence followed for a moment before he spoke, putting his hand to his chin. "So, you wouldn't go out with her if she asked?"
"I didn't say that.”
yuji’s response came as natural as a human breathes, his voice was smooth and steady— almost like he’d wanted to say it. ah, satoru was right once again, utahime ows him 500 yen for sure.
with that, he stood up, and Yuji’s eyes moved to the menacing smirk on his teachers face. “Ah, well, you should ask her out.” he said with a laugh, “i’m sure she’ll say yes!” he slapped the top of itadori’s head before he dashed out the open door, leaving the boy to ponder.
though, sometimes yuji wasn’t the smartest boy.
but… he did wonder what his teachers goal was. Yuji didn’t like you like that… did he?
you were his friend, someone he loved, so much.
someone he loved.
he loved.
loved.
you.
he loved you.
with the realization, the shoujo he had in his lap was long forgotten as he walked out of the room.
♡︎☆♡︎☆
you sighed, placing a few of Nobara’s shopping bags on the table. really, where does she get the money for all this?
“ah, finally,” kugisaki kicked off her shoes, plopping on the couch of the lounging room with an exasperated sigh. You sat down at the table, flopping your arms over the wood and placing your head down, cheek on the side as you shut your eyes. shopping was exasperating.
“have fun, n/n-chan?” Nobara teased a little, knowing that you were exhausted. you nod, a little laugh left your throat as you did so.
you shut your eyes, breathing slowly. as you began to drift off, the shoji door suddenly slid open to reveal Itadori, who scanned the room.
“Ah! Itadori-kun, you should’ve gone with us, you— hey!” Nobara was cut off when he suddenly reached for you, hauling you to your feet. You blinked away, gasping as you were pulled out of the room. “Hey! get back here! where are you taking her, hah?!” Nobara’s calls were left to deaf ears as your friend dragged you down the hall, “Itadori-kun! what’s going on?” you yawned a little, eyes watering some at the end, as you waited for his reply. but it never came.
you couldn’t see his face, but you could tell he was in thought. he suddenly pulled you behind a wall, releasing your wrist from his grasp and letting out a deep exhale. you rose a brow.
“Yuji, what’s all this?” you cross your arms, looking at his face. His eyes were looking at your own, yet they seemed so far away, so distant. “i need to say something.” his reply came out as his usual voice does, but it was different.
"What? What's so important you couldn't say it infront of kugisa-" you were cut off when his lips met yours, a sqeak left your mouth with the sudden action, eyes widening at the unexpected moment. your cheeks heated wildly when he pulled back, but he seemed just as shocked as you.
“I just kissed you." he breathed out, almost like he couldn’t believe it himself.
“You just kissed me..." your voice came out hoarse, and your throat was as dry as it sounded.
"I just kissed you." he says again, looking at your lips, dazed.
"Why did you just kiss me?" you stutter out, heart racing inside your chest wildly, suffocating you.
"I just wanted to try it once to know what it felt like, and it felt...good. really good. I'm gonna kiss you again." he announced, looking determined as he met your eye. you absolutely exploded into different shades of red, breath hitching as you saw him step closer, your hands coming to grip the end of your skirt for support.
"o-okay!" you shut your eyes, missing the pink that dusted yuji’s cheeks as well.
"okay!" he mirrored, and his lips met yours again.

Miracle-three
(gif created by me, the fallen nightmare. feel free to use, simply give credit)
Pairings: Noah Sebastian x Reader
Warnings/Tropes: forced proximity, slight enemies to lovers, slow burn, smut, angst, fluff, mentions of death, and swearing.
Summary: Reader is the merch girl for Bad Omens. It wasn't what she wanted to do with her life but when her mother got sick with Alzheimer's, reader took a job where she could to help with the costs. She thought it would be a one-time gig but the longer she was on the road with them, the harder she fell for Noah Sebastian; even if he wanted nothing to do with her. She needed a miracle to save her mom and her future.
Author Note: I forgot how much I hate slow burns. So we'll see how long it lasts. Tags are open if anyone is interested!

A yawn fell from my lips as I snuggled deeper into the bed, a blanket wrapped around me like a cacoon to keep in the warmth. It was my first day off in four days and with the constant traveling; I was relishing being able to sleep in an actual bed. The bunks on the tour bus weren't terrible but with Bryan's snoring I was thankful for the quiet night of sleep ahead. The sun was setting, the orange glow painting over the walls of the room, and I only left the bed to go to the bathroom or grab my room service. The entire day was dreading tomorrow because that's when I had to send Lana her first paycheck and I was about three hundred dollars short.
My mom had been doing great, even remembering who I was when we talked on the phone. Something about hearing my voice but not seeing my face must have helped. It warmed my heart that we had conversations about things like we used too before she got sick.
I could explain to Lana the situation. I'm sure she would understand.
Somehow I doubted that which is why I was heavily researching my idea, wondering what the risks were and if the payout was worth it. Everyone online who had a page said they could pay for things they wouldn't have with a regular job. I would have my own rules and wouldn't worry about sharing it with a partner. I could post what I wanted whenever I wanted. The only risky thing would be someone recognizing me and with who I worked for, I wasn't completely sold on the idea yet.
"I don't have to show my face," I told myself as I sat up, deciding pretty hastily.
Desperation made people do drastic things and starting an Only Fans was my last resort; I had no other options.
The phone on my camera wouldn't do and I sucked in my bottom lip, wondering if what I was about to do was a good idea. I needed a better camera and set up while also having a credit card with a high enough limit, though it was for emergencies.
Isn't this one? Think of it as an investment.
Agreeing with the voice in my mind, I scrambled out of bed and quickly stepped into a pair of black sweats and hoodie to match. I cringed when I noticed myself in the mirror and made quick work to make myself look somewhat presentable.
The walk to the nearest store was only a few minutes, and I enjoyed the sounds of the hustle bustle of the city as people walked passed me, their own ideas for the night fueling them. I knew little about cameras and thought about asking Bryan some advice but knowing I might have to tell him why I needed one didn't sit well with me
As I was leaving the store, two bags in hand and $500 more in debt, I felt my phone buzz in my pocket and when I read the message, I couldn't help but let out a groan.
Davis, yet again, was inviting me out to dinner tonight with him and the crew. I ignored his first two because I really had plans to lie in bed all day. Now, the only thing I wanted to do was get my profile set up and start posting so I could make money as soon as I could. Plus, Noah was avoiding me ever since the night of the first show when Jolly caught us together. Nothing happened but to Noah, it was as if they caught us fucking.
The thought caused a flush to creep to my cheeks as another text came in.
Davis: If money is an issue, it's on the crew tonight. The last few days have been crazy and we want a night out to relax.
It was true; every show this tour is sold out which made for a crazy night. Everyone in the band and crew were exhausted so a night out was something we all needed.
Me: I'm already out, where should I meet you guys?
Davis: there's this Mexican restaurant right around the block from the hotel. Meet in an hour?
Perfect amount of time to set up and record my first video. I never was a modest person, even if I never had a boyfriend. A few hookups here and there gave me some experience, but I also knew what my body liked, hence me bringing a few differnt kinds of toys with me. After the first tour, I realized how lonely I got out on the road.
I refused to prove Noah right I was only here to fuck someone; which was not true. But that didn't mean I couldn't think of a certain tattooed vocalist while I filmed, right?
An hour and fifteen minutes and red flushed cheeks later, I was practically running out of the hotel to make it in time to the restaurant. As usual, I was running late, but that was because it took me some time to figure out how to edit and post the video to my page. What I filmed wasn't exactly raunchy but just enough to keep people wanting to come back.
I was in a rush to get to the restaurant that I nearly missed the body that I collided in. Strong arms wrap around me to keep me steady as I looked up into those dark eyes that haunted me every second of every day. My heart fell deep into the pits of my stomach as embarrassment filled my veins, knowing that face was the reason for my orgasm less than an hour ago.
Noah gave me a look as slowly removed his arms from me, Jolly and Folio standing on either side of him.
"Where's the fire, angel?" He asked while drinking in the sight of me with a wide grin.
In my pussy.
He was wearing a grey sweater; the hood pulled up over his head and white hat. I cursed my vagina as it throbbed at the sight of him and my pet name.
"Uh, I was meeting Davis and others for dinner," I pointed behind me, stuttering over my words a bit.
Jolly smiled. "We're headed there too. Care if we walk with you?"
Him and Folio, not at all. Noah, yes I minded.
I didn't appreciate him acting different around me when we were alone as opposed to when people were around us.
"Nope," I smiled.
The four of us walked quietly to the restaurant with Folio next to me, Jolly and Noah behind us. Folio bumped his shoulder with me which made me peer up at him.
"I feel like I haven't seen you in a while. Outside of work," he said.
I gave a half shrug. "Just been keeping to myself the last few days."
"Does that have anything to do with," Folio threw a thumb over his shoulder towards Noah.
"No," I said a little too quickly, afraid as if he could see in my mind what I had been doing back in my room. "I forgot how busy life on the road is, that's all."
"What did he do to make you avoid him?" he asked, seeing right through my lie.
This caused Noah to step closer to the two of us, forcing his way between Folio and I.
"I didn't do anything," Noah defended.
My body was still buzzing post orgasm so having him this close to made my stomach flutter and head hazy.
"Right," I muttered under my breath and gave myself some space from him, allowing Jolly to take my spot next to Noah.
"Did we do anything to put you off?" Jolly asked.
I shook my head. "No, not at all. Everyone has been nice. I meant what I said, I've just been tired."
Noah peered over at me past Jolly, something unreadable on his face, but said nothing while we turned the block, the restaurant coming into view. Davis, Byran, Matt, and Nick Ruffilo were already seated at a table outside as we walked up. My phone buzzed in my pocket and as I saw yet another notification from Only Fans, I didn't realize that the only open seat was next to Noah.
Cursing under my breath, I sat tentatively next to him and pocketed my phone, not wanting him to peak over my shoulder and see the notification.
I had a few new subscribers which meant people were paying for my content. Maybe soon things will start picking up and I wouldn't have to worry as much.
The server came over to take our order and I frowned at Matt as he ordered a pitcher of beer for all of us to share.
"Can I have a water and four chicken tacos please?" I asked with a smile.
"You don't want a beer?" Matt asked.
I shook my head. "I don't drink; well much anyway. I do for special occasions but not really feeling like it right now."
Noah muttered something under his breath, and my eyes snapped over to him.
"Care to share what you mumbling under your breath?"
"You seemed pretty into it last tour in Chicago," he didn't bother to look away from his phone.
I stared at him with my jaw slack, upset for him bringing up that night but also amazed that he remembered that. With the way his jaw ticked and his hand gripped around his phone, it was clear he thought of that night often. I got drunk after a show because the guy I'd been talking to all night and flirting with was actually married. His wife was the reason why he was at the show in the first place but decided to hang out at the merch booth instead.
"Is that why you're such a dick to me?" I wondered.
Thankfully, the server had left, so they didn't have to watch us bicker but for the rest of the guys at the table, it didn't save them.
"You guys get drunk all the time. The one night I did, you hold it against me? For what?" I snapped.
I wasn't yelling but the table next to us spared us a few glances of concern.
"We don't need someone to carry us from the venue to the hotel, three blocks," Noah finally met my gaze.
I scoffed, completely baffled this was why he was such an asshole towards me. Because I got drunk last tour and he had to carry me back to the hotel?
"You're fucking unbelievable, Noah." I shook my head and turned away from him.
If I wasn't starving, I would head back to the hotel. But I already ordered and didn't want my food to go to waste.
Folio, who was sitting on my other side, looked at me with sympathetic eyes and gave my knee a squeeze underneath the table. The rest of dinner passed by with Noah and I not speaking another word to each other while the others chatted amongst themselves. I ate my food and sipped at my water in peace, checking my phone every now and then to see if Lana had texted me back. It was almost eight in the evening, and I debated on wondering if it was too late to call to talk to my mom when my phone rang.
Excusing myself from the table, I walked down the block to answer the call. It was a fast phone call, my mom being too exhausted to talk. Instead, I caught up with Lana.
"Alright, well let me know how she is in the morning. I'll be in the bus for half of the day so I can talk with her," I sighed.
"I will, dear. She's so exhausted from today. I looked through some photo albums with her to help her remember but nothing. There was nothing in her eyes."
I swallowed the lump in my throat and nodded even though Lana couldn't see.
"Yeah, those vacant eyes. It's been happening a lot lately."
There was a lot of rustling on Lana's end before her soft voice came through. "I promise you. She's in good hands. When she remembers things, we have a lot in common."
That made me smile.
"Good. And I'll send you the first payment tomorrow," I said much to my dismay.
"No rush, dear."
We talked for a few more minutes before I hung up, suddenly exhausted and wanting nothing more than to crawl into bed for the rest of the night. When I returned to the table, I halted seeing that only Noah sat there. He heard me walk up and handed me my to go box of leftover food.
"The bill's been taking care of," he said.
I didn't meet his gaze, still upset with him, as I snatched the box out of his hand.
"Don't worry, I didn't flirt with anyone to get free food."
Noah sighed then pushed himself out of his chair, immediately towering over me.
"Do you always have to talk with such an attitude," he gritted out through clenched teeth.
I stood toe to toe with him. "Only for you, baby."
The pet name was supposed to come out as playful, no meaning behind it. But with the way Noah's eyes flashed and a low noise vibrated from his throat, I knew it had the opposite effect on him. His tongue rolled over his bottom lip and I wanted nothing more that to taste them.
"Can I walk you back to the hotel?" Noah asked.
Unbelievable.
"Oh, now that no one is around you act like you give a shit?" I snarled.
He raised his hands. "I'm trying to be nice, Y/N."
"Here's a piece of advice," I snatched my purse from the table, "If you want to be nice to me, stop doing it when we're alone. It makes me think you're embarrassed to be seen with me."
Noah's face fell and began shaking his head. "It's not that."
"Oh, right? It was because of that night in Chicago where you had to carry me back to the hotel. News flash, Noah. I didn't fucking ask you too. So do me a favor, unless it deals with work, don't talk to me the rest of the time were on tour."
Not bothering to listen to him come up with another excuse, I turned on my heels and stomped back towards the hotel.

Some relationships couldn't work out. It happened.
Like Ethan, his biggest regret is losing you.
That was his fault for letting his insecurity win.
Seeing you with someone else makes him want to puke.
His pointed finger moves between you and Lloyd. “You’re married?”
You move closer to Lloyd to rest your hand on his chest. You look at him with a warm gaze; Lloyd smiles back at you without any signal.
He's a good actor.
“ Yes.”
Ethan crunched his face when he saw the intimate act. He altered his gaze. “I don’t believe you.”
"You chose him over me ?!"
"Ethan, if you came here to disrespect my husband, get the hell out."
Ethan took a step back. You've changed.
He knew there was a big gap between you both. His parents always compare your achievements to his.
Everyone said he would be the luckiest person to have you as his wife. It felt like his pride was being stomped.
"You're missing a good chance, Y/N."
After Ethan left, both of you were still in the same position. You tried to push Lloyd away, but he didn't budge.
He wondered how you ended with Ethan. “Do you like him?”
You were silent then he saw you smile for a second “At first.”
Lloyd clenched his fist; the thought of you with someone else just irked him.
"So… he's your type huh?" Lloyd sneered like he was mocking you.
"He wasn't my choice. When I studied abroad, they chose a fiance for me without my knowledge."
To be precise, your grandmother chose Ethan. She picks her closest aid to monitor you.
If your relatives couldn’t tame you, your husband could do it.
“I thought I found a good guy. He was sweet at first, but it didn't work out."
He smiled, but his displeasure was obvious. “There shouldn’t be any secrets between us, honey.”
You scoffed. Lying doesn't work with Lloyd."I despised him."
Lloyd thought so.
“It’s difficult to break the engagement. Since both families benefit from this.”
At that time, L/N company with Wielder Construction needed to work together to remodel the train station in New York.
“They basically sold you.”
“It’s a normal thing in my family.” Your uncles and aunties got married not by their choice, except by your parents.
“Ethan was sweet and respectful. He visited me when I studied at Oxford. He left a great impression. I thought why not give it a try? On the semester break, I went to his place to surprise him. But what I found was, he had a sex party, and he made out with my cousin. Turned out she went to the university with him.” You felt betrayed when you saw the vulgar scene.
“You told your grandfather?”
You nodded. “And he saw the video but he told me to stay silent. That’s when I realized he needed this marriage too.”
“I almost gave up and accepted my fate to have a lifeless marriage. But then I remembered grandfather hated people who lost his money. He will toss anyone who he thinks is useless."
"So when Ethan asked to invest in his new business, I gave him 500 million dollars and I told my grandfather. He appreciated that I gave Ethan a chance."
Lloyd coughed. Every time you mention money, it is always an outrageous amount. Your ex is an idiot.
“It was your scheme from the beginning, you know he will lose it.”
He learned you are also a risk taker since you don't mind losing that money to get what you want.
You chuckled. “It was big news and the media loved to see the downfall of rich kids. But the most important part is my grandfather who was really mad. He didn’t want a stupid grandson-in-law. And he cut the engagement."
Lloyd learned that you are pretty manipulative when he heard the whole story. He could probably finish all his missions faster if you work with him.
"Do you want me to handle him? He seems like trouble like your relatives."
You shook your head and made a cross with both of your arms. “I don't want to get in any trouble since Ethan’s father is Robert Wielder.”
That last name was familiar. Lloyd's expression was enough to tell that he knew. You nodded. “Ethan's uncle is the President, Nolan Wielder. I don’t want to deal with the Secret Service, FBI and CIA.”
Lloyd agreed in his line of work; he knew some people he couldn't touch. "You're right it's a pain in the ass."
"What does it mean you will miss a good life?"
“I didn't follow his update after the engagement broke. But it seems like he has started joining politics."
“Him?” Lloyd didn't believe it when you said that, but when he looked down from your office window. There's a billboard with Ethan's campaign photo.
“Wielder has a long history in politics but only for the male heir. Nolan only has a daughter, and the only male heir to continue their tradition is Ethan. Robert is ambitious to make his son a President.”
He gathered all the dots and could figure out that Ethan came here to check on you. And want to marry you since he still single.
Voters prefer married candidates.
You sighed heavily. “I miscalculated the bad outcome. I'm sure his father will call me.”
Your guess was correct, after a minute your secretary knocked on your door.
"Miss, there's some,-"
You move closer to your table and pick up the phone. "Hello?"
“Ah, my dear Y/N. How are you?” The older man's voice sounds friendly but vicious at the same time.
“I’m good.”
“I hear what happened with your family. It’s tragic but necessary to get rid of the rotten parts.”
You didn't say anything because he didn't help you when you struggled.
“I'm inviting you to the gala dinner. I insist. I heard you also got married. I’m sad you didn’t invite me. I want to get to know him.” The other side seemed to know you didn't want to talk, so he cut to the chase.
“Yes, Robert.”
You lowered your head and sighed heavily. "Do you have suits, Lloyd?"
“Why?”
"We got invited to the gala dinner.”
Lloyd was bored and decided to walk around at your company. Jimmy stood before him, lifted his left palm and pointed his fourth finger.
Lloyd raised his eyebrows. “I don’t understand sign language, old man.”
Jimmy rolled his eyes. “This generation…" He sighed heavily. "What I meant was you should give Y/N a ring.”
Lloyd pinched the bridge of his nose. Both of you forgot the most important thing to make acting as husband and wife more believable. No wonder Ethan doesn't believe you when you tell him you got married. A woman like you needs to wear a beautiful ring.
Lloyd picks up his phone. “Find me the most expensive wedding ring, size 13.”
Lloyd entered your room and saw you dressed in a gown. You look elegant and mature in the evening dress.
You also saw him looking good. He was dressed in a perfectly fitting black suit. He seems like a gentleman.
He knelt near you and pulled a red velvet box from his pocket. “Y/N L/N, I swear on the 3 billion dollars I will never betray and let you get hurt. Because you're the greatest asset that I ever had.”
Your heart skipped a beat for a moment. You knew it was only for an act. “I do. From now on, let’s get along."
Lloyd didn't know why, but he thought the proposal was real for a moment. He must keep his head clear and remember this is just a contract.
He stood up and sat on the side of your bed. "Is this a good idea to show my face at the gala?"
"It's perfect timing. All the guests know me. If I introduce you as my husband. No one will bother me anymore."
At the gala.
Everyone gasped and whispered when they saw you walk into the room.
You force the corners of your mouth to curl up when you greet other guests.
You whispered to your partner, "I just came back 2 days ago, and it seems they knew everything."
Lloyd chuckled.
One of the most effective weapons is gossip. "Walls have ears, my dear." Lloyd played his part well.
Too well. He stroked your hair and kissed your temple.
In other people's eyes, both of you look close and intimate. And with the ring on your fingers, they believe you are already married.
The host of the party sees it too. Ethan and his father, Robert, saw you and Lloyd look like newlyweds.
Ethan tried to fake a smile, but it was seen through. Robert notices his son wants to cry. He whispered, "If you didn't invest in that fake start-up, both of you are married now. Now look, she chose a mercenary to be her husband."
You gripped Lloyd's arm tighter when you greeted Robert and Ethan. The older man seems friendly and welcoming, but his conversation always leads to gaslighting.
Robert gave a quick kiss on both of your cheeks. "Welcome Y/N." Then he moved to Lloyd. He didn't bother to offer a handshake, "Mr. Hansen. I heard about your work in Prague. It was impressive but such a mess."
Lloyd doesn't bother when someone underestimates him. In his line of work, he already used too with harsh words.
You must keep the act longer since you got seated at the same table as the host party. They changed it at the last minute.
After everyone got seated and talked, Robert broke the mood by asking, “When will you get divorced? You signed prenup right? My lawyers will help you.”
You raised your voice. “Excuse me?”
“You picked a dangerous man to be your husband, Y/N. His hands had taken out hundreds of lives. You deserved better."
You crossed your arms; you decided not to be friendly with him anymore. “Not so different from us. There’s no big business without the blood of innocent people.”
What you meant was you weren't that innocent too. You knew the company your grandfather was built with real tears and blood.
"I think this conversation will only disrespect my husband. So I think we will leave." You start to move from your seat.
"We're not done yet."
"L/N company won't stop donating to your brother next year election campaign."
"My brother will be forever grateful. What I want to ask is the 500 billion dollar project. Your uncle promised me I would be part of it, and I got 20%."
“Then your project will get into trouble, my dear.”
"You need my connection. Without my help, you won't get it easy, Y/N. Remember, I've been playing this game longer than you."
"That's bullshit. Your company doesn't take part. And it was my uncle who promised you, not me. I'm not your business partner."
You clenched your fist holding out any anger. The audacity of this old man. He didn't do anything to get this mega project. For those 4 years of running and hiding, you are still reaching out to a potential business partner.
You were lucky; you found your grandfather's old notebook before you got cast out.
Inside he wrote some contacts of business partnerships that he worked with.
"I will be straight to the point, Mr Wielder. My answer is No." You lift yourself from the chair.
“If you leave, you will miss a chance to be the 1st lady.”
Before you could say anything, Lloyd had already stabbed the table knife between Robert's fingers to the table.
It made everyone near the table gasp and get scared. Even the musicians stop playing their instruments. Lloyd waves his hand to signal everyone to look the other way. He already controls the rooms.
He smiled but sounded displeased. "I've been reading about your son's campaign situation. His name doesn't have a strong brand. He will lose the election if he doesn't have L/N company to back him up."
"Now, I will give two choices." Loyd is pissed; these people not just disrespect him but you too.
"I will stab your son's eyes or slit his throat with this knife?"
Lloyd said with a calm smile. But everyone at the table felt fear. Ethan wants to move, but his father makes an eye signal not to stay in his position.
Robert keeps his composure. "Both of them don't give me any benefits."
"Exactly."
Robert noticed you didn't tell Lloyd to stop, which means you supported his doing. "I see; we couldn't reach the same point of view. And I apologise."
"That's great.” Lloyd pulled the knife from the table.”You've known my line of work. Keep your hands away from my wife."
He stood up and linked your arms to him, and put his hand on your back. Both of you left the party.
Ethan could only watch your back before he asked his father, “Do you want me to give him a lesson?”
Robert snapped, “No, stay here and play with your dick.” He is pissed that they wouldn't be humiliated like this if his son were good and could tame Y/N; they wouldn't be humiliated like this.
Inside the car on the way home, both of you were silent. It made Lloyd restless. "Y/N, did I make a mistake?"
His act could ruin your good image and business for having a lunatic husband.
This is the first time you saw him lose confidence. You shook. "You didn't do anything wrong."
He didn’t believe it.
You smiled and held his hand. "It’s true, Lloyd. Everyone will know I have a husband who is not a coward and doesn't take shit if someone underestimates him."
After you said that, he finally felt relieved. He is grateful for the nighttime; if it was daylight, you could see his blushed cheeks.
'Growl.'
"Sorry, I couldn't eat anything at that party." You pick up a phone and start typing to order food, "I'm craving a cheeseburger; what about you?"
"Same."
Back at your shared apartment.
After the two sets of cheeseburgers and 3 bottles of wine, both of you felt comfortable with each other.
Lloyd saw you were already drunk because you kept playing with a fork. He asked, "Is Wielder superior to your family?"
You felt dizzy and moved your chair closer to Lloyd. You nodded your head multiple times and opened your arms. "He gets along with the mafia; he even blocked the importer ship that belongs to my grandfather. Since then, Grandpa has chosen to keep his enemy close."
Lloyd chuckled, seeing you being dramatic at explaining things. "Did you forget that you are a reliable husband now?"
That’s right; you have someone to rely on. You don’t know if it’s because of the alcohol, but you want to kiss him.
Your gaze didn’t move from his lips.
“Can I kiss you?”
Lloyd didn’t expect your question.
Don’t need any answer.
Soon both lips collided, and a tongue entered your parted mouth. You could feel a strong hand wrapped around the back of your neck. Lloyd bit and sucked your lips several times, then smirked. “Are you sure you want to do this?
Your heart was beating fast as if it could pop out of your chest at any moment. “Maybe?” You have a long giggle before you pass out.
Lloyd catches your head before it hits the table. He sighed heavily since you woke up the fire inside of him.
The next day, when you wake up, you feel a headache. You didn’t remember what happened after you finished the third bottle of wine. When you want to get another sleep, your phone rings.
‘RING’
You weren’t ready to accept any call, but it was your secretary. He never called in the morning unless it was important.
When you listened to what he said, the hangover you had immediately went and jumped off the bed.
Lloyd, an early riser, was sitting in the living room. He was enjoying the morning coffee while looking at your door.
Your door suddenly opened.
“Morning.” He noticed you were already wearing an outdoor outfit, not the usual one. “Where are you going?”
You were fixing your jacket. “There’s an accident at one project site. I must check before the media comes and talk with the project safety manager.” You didn't want this accident to stop the progress.
This will be your first time handling the project independently without your grandfather's guidance.
While preparing all your stuff, Lloyd hopes for something different.
“You didn’t remember what happened last night?"
“No.”
He made a mental note not to let you drink because you don’t remember.
At the construction site
Lloyd didn’t have a good feeling when both of you arrived at the location. "I don't like this."
"Me too. But I have to be responsible."
"That's not what I meant. Something doesn't seem right."
When you visited the site, a group surrounded you and brought you to the location. In just a second, you got separated from Lloyd.
“Y/N!”
You couldn’t hear his scream. One of the employees said, “Miss Y/N, over there is where the accident happened.
When you followed him, you felt pain in your back. Before your hand could touch it, your head was covered with black cloth.
You got kidnapped again.
Lloyd wasn’t fast enough this time because the kidnapper used a helicopter.
"Fuck."
He took his phone. "Find out which idiot used a helicopter in the daylight to kidnap my wife!!!"
Somewhere in an unknown location,
"Urghh." Your eyes are still closed because of the dizziness.
With the hangover and the headache you got from the back hit made you puke.
"Geez, Y/N this is an Italian leather shoe."
That familiar voice made you open your eyelids. "Ethan, what the fuck? Not you too."
"Y/N, I'm sorry. This is the only way I could talk to you."
"This is an idiot move, you idiot."
"Stop talking like that. Y/N, let's just say this is intervention."
"For what?"
"Your husband. Y/N please leave him. He's not good enough for you."
You rolled your eyes. "You just want my money."
"Uh, you make this difficult Y/N. Seems like I can't have a conversation with you."
He snapped his fingers and someone appeared holding a gun.
He heavily sighed, if you just give him another chance, both of you could have a happy life.
"Get rid of her." He said that before he left the cottage.
'That's it?'
You were shocked with how your ex-fiance negotiated. He didn't even try and just gave up.
This is the biggest of the red flags you see in him. Giving up quickly and not wanting to admit his own mistakes.
You know the hitman getting closer. "Wait, wait. I could give you more money. 4 billion dollars."
The killer laughed mockingly, thinking you would never have that much money. "Yeah, like I could be a billionaire in one day."
Based on his voice you realised he's not American no wonder why he didn't believe you.
He aimed the gun closer to your forehead.
You closed your eyes, accepting your fate.
'BANG.'
At the loud gunshot, something warm and damp splashed on your face. You inhaled the fishy smell.
"ARGH!!"
You were shocked; you weren’t ready.
Blood splatters on your face.
That was the first time you had someone die in front of your eyes.
Since you became the target of your relatives, there was a time you got into a dangerous moment.
"You should've accepted the money." Lloyd's voice made you feel safe.
You were on adrenaline; your eyes kept seeing the hitman who had a bullet pierced into his forehead.
Lloyd took off his jacket to cover your face.
"Send the dead body to Wielder house." He gave instructions to his subordinates.
"Did he hurt you?" Lloyd ran to you and then cut the rope around your hands. You immediately wrapped his shoulder with his arms, rested your head on his neck, and cried.
"No. Take me home. Please." Your crying made him feel more guilty. He holds you tighter.
When he found who it was, he immediately drove to the hidden cottage while his team ruined the Wielder building. That old man Robert will get another stroke. His stupid son tried to kidnap his wife.
You went home and took a shower for the 5th time. No matter how much soap you put on your body, you could still smell the blood. You want it to disappear.
It's the first time you got covered with blood from head to toe. And you hope this is the last time.
In the end, you can handle it and sit on the floor. “ARGH!!!” To let out your frustration.
“You were stressed and scared, didn’t you?”
“Isn't it obvious?"
“Y/N.”
You saw him already taken off his shirt; he only wore his brief. You didn't have the energy to ask him why.
“I gave you my permission to use my body.”
“...”
“To release some stress. It’s my fault you got kidnapped.”
He shamelessly looked up and down your body. “I’m dying to touch your body, and I haven’t shown you my night duty as your husband.”
There was silence; your brain couldn’t think at all. You only have two choices, go to a psychiatrist to talk about your problem that ended without any solution or fucked Lloyd to release the stress you’ve been holding for years.
“Fuck it.” You kissed him, which surprised him for a while, but he didn’t want to miss the chance.
Lloyd's hands grasped your breasts and gently twisted your nipples. You gasped, and your heart beat faster and faster.
He licked your pink nipples and tugged at them lightly with his teeth. You saw his perfectly toned body was breathtakingly hot. You hold his shoulder.
“Can we continue this in the bedroom?”
“Yes, wife.”
He lifted your body while you hugged him by his neck. When he found the bed, he put you down gently. You spread your legs apart and wrapped your legs around his waist. You are already wet. His manhood pushed in.
It felt so good.
Your body trembled, and Lloyd enjoyed you watching your face. At the climax, he shoved his penis deep inside you. You felt the blood of your body rush down.
He slowly pulled out his manhood, rested beside you, and gently caressed your cheek.
Your finger sweeps his messy hair. “This is,-”
He left small kisses on your shoulders, lay beside you, and pulled you into his arms. “Don’t say anything, both of us need this.”
He was right; you were exhausted. You closed your eyes and burrowed in his arms.
Lloyd pressed his lips to the top of your head. “Sweet dream, sweetheart.”
'RING'
"Urgh", The grumble voice came from Lloyd, who woke up because of the annoying ringtone.
"Sunshine, if it's another accident, just send Jimmy."
You also didn't want to pick up the phone, but the only people who knew this number were the people you trusted.
You couldn't turn your body to the nightstand since you were still trapped in Lloyd cuddled. Only one of your arms could reach the phone beside you.
"Hello."
"Y/N, in another 5 minutes there will be another call. You have to answer it."
"Wait a-"
Jimmy had hung up the phone before you could ask.
Lloyd, who still closed his eyes, kissed your temple.
"Whose that?"
"Jimmy, he told me to answer the next call."
"Hmm, you should."
You became fully awake and curious about what Lloyd and Jimmy knew that you didn't.
'RING.'
You immediately answer, "Hello."
"Miss L/N."
You hold your breath for a second when you hear the voice. You only know it from the television.
You pushed yourself from Lloyd's firm grip, which made him whine. There's no way you answer the phone while looking at the naked man.
You cleared your throat "Mr. President."
"I received a package from you. This is useful to stop my brother's ambition. There is no way I would let my spoiled nephew enter politics, and ruin my hard work."
You agree with what he said. You didn't like Robert. If you have to choose, you prefer to work with his older brother, Nolan, because of his work ethic. He loves his country and tries to make it better.
Nolan knew his nephew didn't have the guts to enter politics. He prefers to choose anyone smarter than his nephew.
So this is what Lloyd's doing. You caressed his hair. "Glad to help."
"And…"
“Your husband has a quiet reputation. Perhaps sooner I will need his skills.”
“I really recommend his service sir.” Your reply made the other line laugh. Both of you made small talk before the call ended.
You put down the phone and grab his head to kiss Lloyd.
He pulled you back into his arms again."You seem happy.”
“Yup." Of course, you were delighted; the country's leader called you personally. You giggled. "I got a new friend and a potential client for Hansen Security.”
Lloyd could only enjoy this peaceful morning. Not just you get rid of the stupid ex-fiance, but he also receives a powerful client.
He thought if this was married life, it was not that bad. Lloyd can't explain for some reason but wishes this fake marriage would last forever.
Thank you for reading, besties. 💓🥹

I've been kinda fixated on Mor's whole tensing up over here.
When I first read it, I thought her tension was maybe because she felt like she was getting replaced or something, you know? But then, I went down the rabbit hole of other people's thoughts and letting it marinade.
I wondered, could her tension be because Azriel's shifting his attention to someone else – someone he knows deep down he can't really have?
This all kinda clicked after Mor's talk with Feyre where she went on about Elain and Lucien needing to find their own paths first, and then things would naturally fall into place.
Mor was right there when Madja checked out Elain for the first time, suggesting Lucien, her mate, should suss out if something's off. Mor was basically front row center when Lucien and Elain did their awkward "let's see if he feels anything weird" thing. Side note, if it was as cringy as Feyre described, maybe that's a sign they're better off not glued together.
Oh, and speaking of this, remember that "amiss" thing with Elain? Lucien guessed she hadn't been out since the Hybern ordeal – said it way before Madja prescribed this whole "let's see what's wrong" thing. And guess what? Lucien nailed it. She got better.
Despite all of Lucien's good stuff and the fact that he's mate-worthy, no one in the Inner Circle's been spilling why they think he's not right for Elain. And here's the kicker: Mor went through a whole quality check process on him, and we all know how she keeps her Vanserra guard up. So, she's be a little more invested in making damn sure.
But man, Mor's tenseness about all this just throws me off, especially since she's not interested in Azriel romantically. Remember when she told Feyre that everyone's gonna find their slice of happiness? So, why all the tension if she's really banking on Elain and Lucien finding their bliss separately?
By the way, Mor's been dodging Azriel for like, what, 500 years? You'd figure she'd be throwing a party for him moving on, right? Finding someone who vibes with his quiet style and all.
Could it be Mor picked up from the truths – you know, the heart of Elain and Lucien – that their thing might not be all sunshine? Maybe after all the soul-searching they're supposed to do? But hey, flip the script – maybe she's clocked how deep Elain and Lucien go and figured Azriel and Elain might not be a match made in heaven?
And then there's the possibility she saw what could go down if Azriel went full throttle on pursuing Elain – the drama, the mess, the real deal of a relationship. Maybe she peeked at where their paths separate instead of converge.
Could she have just seen how they'd fall for each other and had a gut feeling it's all kinds of complicated?
Mor's got Azriel down to a T. Dude's all about protecting, and even with everything Lucien's done – for him, the Night Court, Feyre, Elain, and the whole war effort – Azriel still ain't buying that Lucien's Mr. Right for Elain, his mate for life.
It's not just about whether they share hobbies or whatever. It's about the vibes they stir in each other. Elain is still healing. She's not done processing all she needed to process.
My gut tells me their chemistry could magnify the not-so-great stuff.
Sure, they might be head over heels for each other, but does that really mean they're the ultimate match?
And it's like, Mor's got the inside track on that too.

During this relisten I have been paying attention to potential evidence supporting this response to my character parallels post. The thoughts I have marshaled so far are,
Eiffel projects onto Hilbert. (This is relevant, bear with me.) He tells him - right after Hilbert tries to kill them and rips apart Hera's brain, no less! - that they're not so different. In Bolero, he tells Hilbert's memory that he wanted to believe even someone who had hurt so many people could change - he was clearly invested in Hilbert's improvement as a sign he could improve too, and vocalizing that makes him stop drinking, because he still has the chance to be better.
Why does this matter? Because in Desperate Measures, Eiffel tells Maxwell,
I knew it. I knew underneath all that sparkle and charm you were just as bad as Hilbert.
If he's projecting onto Hilbert, you could also read that as "I knew you were just as bad as me". Especially when he continues,
Hell, you're worse. You made Hera think you really cared, just to stab her in the back. Even Hilbert never sunk that low.
Eiffel claims he was pretty good at being a dad before things went wrong. I can easily see him being the 'fun' parent, who breezes in to bring presents or have a good time but doesn't stick around for any of the hard stuff. He made Anne think he cared. He had a responsibility to her, and then instead he was selfish and impulsive and got her and other people hurt. Even Hilbert didn't do that. But Maxwell did.
So yes, I can see Eiffel reacting badly to Maxwell because of the nature of her betrayal, just as he reacts strongly to Pryce for the same reason. But he dislikes her from the start. The response on the linked post suggests he picks up on her facade, and there could be something to that. Eiffel is aware he's putting on a show. In "Super Energy Saver Mode" when he's imitating Minkowski, he says
You are the most incompetent excuse for an enlisted man I have ever met. The only things you’ve done for the past 500 days have been sleep on the job, endanger our lives, and continually make stupid jokes just to hide the fact that you’re -
He might have been planning to say "worthless" or "filled with self-loathing" or something similar, but the point is, he's conscious that his behavior is an act to cover up characteristics he finds shameful or undesirable. Later, when Lovelace shows up, he tells Minkowski he knows a thing or two about telling lies. And, as the linked post notes, he sees through Cutter right away. Maxwell is the only other one to have such a strong negative reaction to Goddard's recruitment attempts.
Taking this all into consideration, my best guess is that after the Urania picked Eiffel up, Kepler and Jacobi sent Maxwell (the member of their team with the least god awful social skills) to play good cop and try to get some intel out of Eiffel - which, I'll note, is exactly what Minkowski had him do to Lovelace when she first showed up. However, Eiffel immediately saw through Maxwell's "sparkle and charm", picked up on her insincerity, and held on to that impression throughout her time on the station, even though her overtures to Hera probably were a lot more sincere. He saw her as someone who would put on a cheerful, funny front and pretend to give a shit but, when the chips were down, would take the selfish option and get people hurt. Like he said, from the start he knew - or suspected - that she was just as bad as him.
#is he right? eh idk I feel like they have very different primary flaws and traits#however in w359 everyone is projecting wildly onto each other#sometimes they're right#sometimes they're way off#sometimes they're wrong but come at it from such a weird angle they wrap around into being on target again#wolf 359

There are a few more things going on but to be brief the Lamborghini Diablo kit is selling like madness like we said we have 21 kit manufacturers and of course the several model vehicles that they fit on and they'll be specific ally are they raging cost from $10,000 to $35,000 but you're getting a car that usually goes for about 3 million. And usually the resale value on a kit car for a Lamborghini Diablo is about $235,000 so you'd make over $150,000 easily unless you have someone else do the work that's ridiculous amount of money that's what our son was talking about putting together a vehicle and reselling it and he could hire a mechanic they do that kind of work
-if you only had money but right now those 21 manufacturers have about 10 million orders and it's going up and not down and it's not steadily going down it's definitely going up right now it's increasing by a million this afternoon it probably will reach half a billion when they find out the economy of it usually the car that you have we've already paid for or it'll cost $5,000 even Corvettes are only $10,000 the maximum investment would probably be around 55,000 the minimum is would be probably around the car 35,000 for the expensive kit and $10,000 because you would have the car so really if you have one of these vehicles with a high performance motor you can have a Lamborghini Diablo for $10,000 and you'd make $225,000 if you turn around and sold it and people spend that much money they don't want to be bothered they would do that if you had a documents not necessarily if our son built it someone would buy it for probably $120,000 and he'd make $80,000 or something that's still a lot of money for him so think about it these cars are inexpensive
-with that we are going to make the new Rolls-Royce that we are calling the night train and we're going to name it the Wraith and we're aware they already have one but we're going to call it a certain wraith and we put it in our notes before and he said I thought it was ghost and it was then we went back to Wraith it's true they don't call it that alone and this will be just that alone and we're going to make it Rolls-Royce and we're going to use the real insignia and everything and all the parts will be made the same way more or less was slightly better material and the hull will be a very decent metal and that's what they use hours will be stronger and lighter and more bullet resistant and it's going to be performance in luxury not just luxury it is going to be a very hot car and we're going to start making it in Africa today. We also are going to start making the nimbus and we might call it something else and Hera is working on a name and it might be Incubus because you guys like that because of what it means or malfeasant and she says no Incubus and okay he agrees and it's going to be the one with the really inexpensive frame that people can put together and we're going to get motorcycle parts and other inexpensively and make a real motorcycle is going to have a Briggs & Stratton motor but the exhaust makes it sound cool and it's not a motorcycle top speed it's not a motorcycle motor top speed will be around 180 it'll have gears and sprockets and it will have hydraulic brakes and I'll have the lights so they'll have a DOT certification and the price will be about $500 disassembled about 1200 assembled and we're going to start putting them together and see if we can sell them and we're looking for someone to partner up on this it's not a very difficult bike to make and we plan on making a lot of them and we're going to start I have a garage for real. In California. And we know what's going on out there and we do understand what he's saying so we are going to go ahead with it it's going to be wonderful we're going to make the first one out there
This is making it special and I do know what he's saying it has to be somewhere possible so we have to think of that too and I understand what he's saying there's some shops that are a pain in the ass
Thor Freya
Olympus
This is a great idea and I have several ideas too maybe even Mexico and he says it's perfect and we can do that down there and put it in the Kia plant unless they're building stuff there and I think they are but now I know what you're saying they are doing these things and you want to do this so we're going to go ahead and try and do it
Hera
I think we have a spot to do it in and we think we know where and it would be outstanding and testing and driving it around would be so much fun it's not even worth talking about it so much fun and yeah and it attracts the attention of Tommy Allen and he goes to the bar that's only like 4 miles away
