Bionicle has a seemingly infinite number of alternate universes, to the point where Tridax was able to assemble an army consisting solely of Takanuva.

With this in mind, i posit that it is highly unlikely that there isn't at least one catboy Takua out there. there could be a whole universe of catboys, even.

What do you think Matoro thought in Bohrok321's Ignition War? Where, as opposed to the sacrifice being a dramatic lonely moment, it's a massive fight?

oh no Duck i love asks but i think i don’t understand the reference.. what is the ignition war? i must have missed that bit. honestly i think that’s a great question though because we so often see Toa teams vs some other team and we don’t really see a lot of the huge battles (this is probably because the number of Toa is so decreased from what it used to be by the time the Toa Nuva wake up and those big battles are sort of a thing of the past). like i think every Toa would react very differently to a big battle than a team vs team like they’re used to. honestly? I think Matoro would find some of that Ice Toa savagery in a big battle. we see flashes of it when he gets pissed off at Teridax or scared - his response to being overwhelmed is to lash out and do what he has to, like when he does end up using his mask of reanimation and tearing the Barraki army the hell apart like a badass even though he originally didn’t want to use the mask. he’s a totally sweet guy but I think in a battle he would be damn fierce - though he would probably feel guilty and self-doubting afterwards.

that’s probably totally unrelated to the actual question lol but that’s what that made me think of

Ren: God I love Ren and if he dies I will be PISSED. Given his treatment by the show already, I ain’t gonna lie that killing him off will leave a very bitter taste in my mouth, especially when he’s one of the few who are actually saying some hard hitting truths that the rest don’t wanna listen to.

WHL’s post on the Matoran Mata mentions that Onua in particular might be so dark-adapted that he’s nearly blind aboveground, but he’d still go up there to hang out with Lewa

I don’t remember if it was in another post or if I legitimately just made it up but fsr I always imagined that kind of scene with Onua wearing a blindfold to help protect his eyes

Okay, but throughout these Analyses, have you covered how Kopaka would train his pet doggo, and how much pets said doggo would get from the fellow Toa

first of all puppo would get so many pets. an inordinate, insane amount of pets. mostly from Pohatu, who love love loves Kopaka’s dog. and Kopaka is over here like “you’re SPOILING her you assholes!! she needs discipline!!!” but then in secret he spoils her rotten and scratches her constantly and lets her sleep in his bed. on his rock? Bionicles sleep on rocks or something?? i’m going to guess that Agori have beds. anyway -

I like to think that the dog (or dog-like Agori animal or whatever) would be a present from his Matoran. like he saves someone’s life and then they give him a hunting dog puppy from their dog as a gift. Kopaka’s going through a fucking hard time in his life - I don’t think the Red Star arc was going to be easy on him if he survived it and I figure that, like Lewa, he’s been through some pretty serious trauma at this point. he hides it pretty well, but honestly he’s driving himself into the ground working too hard, he’s stopped taking care of himself, he misses Lewa and Matoro and other people he lost in the revolution, and he’s just tired... down to the core of his being. he wants to sleep. he wants to run away. he’s tired. and things aren’t really getting better. and he doesn’t know what to do. he’s never felt so... helpless.

and then he gets this puppy.

he’s not really sure he wants her at first? like sometimes he feels so much pressure to protect everyone around him? but here’s this squealing baby dog chewing on his fingers and whining for attention all the time, and Pohatu and Gali and Onua and Tahu and - okay, everyone else is already attached, so he keeps her. and over time, this puppy because like a driving force for him. he gets up to take her on runs twice a day, he gets her everything she needs, he loves on her and gets love in return and it’s all fun and reassuring and invigorating and nice. and she’s soft and affectionate and warm. it’s helpful when he’s struggling. point is, he loves this dog!! and he wants to train her to be perfect

by the time she’s a grown dog - and she grows to be HUGE - she’s a trained hunter and attack dog. she growls and barks when someone’s threatening him and she’ll follow him right into battle. she sits on command (including on top of Tahu) and she will pull Matoran out of harm’s way in emergencies. that’s what Kopaka taught her. the other Toa might have taught her some more fun tricks while Kopaka wasn’t looking, such as: lick mask attack, do a lil dance, tackle Pohatu to the ground, and steal things like swords or kolhii balls. she’s a good girl and really smart. but also sometimes she refuses to take orders from anyone but Kopaka and just glares at Tahu when he tries to tell her to do something. and he’s like “you really are Kopaka’s dog”

or potentially Kopaka could have two dogs... or Pohatu could have a dog... fuck, the POWER of this headcanon... i love it haha thanks for asking. it’s one of my lil comfort fun headcanons
