Ahhh Trey and Cater <33 You really nailed it with the vibe I wished for cater to have!!! He’s so scary, perfect for a monster!! he reminds me of some of those analog horror yt series. Please imagine how scary it is to see him at night… Or even daytime??? Just eyes in the dark… following you around like a camera. That’s most definitely how he horrifies his victim, unlike Riddle feeding off fear more directly through close scares, Cater feeds through underlying disturbance they feel!! When he’s feeling extra mean he likes to appear in peoples faces with his fake one, playing the role of a nice guardian spirit, only for him to take off the mask and revel the horror he really is!! He likes to keep the fake appearance around everyone he likes though, because he wants them to have a face to talk to and comfortably interact with, especially you.

And Trey??? Why is he looking at me like that (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞. It’s like he’s plotting to shock you with his bolts and then comfort you like he wasn’t the one who did it. He plays it off as a little joke, but something tells you he’ll do it again… And the reminder of him being 8 feet… I love how with a little bit of paint and a scarf, he could totally pass into society. But then his height has people turning their heads… goodness who gets that tall?? It has them confused, but them they see him bend down to your height whenever you’re saying something, and suddenly their split between finding him scary and being like “aww, how cute <3”.

I can’t forget the return of Ace and Deuce though, aghhh they look so heinous …! But then again, that’s most definitely the face their meals (humans) see right before they feast lmao. Imagine being an unfortunate soul who runs into these beasts, and they look down at them with hunger in their eyes, a devilish smile on what they have left of their face… But they’re only saved by you’re unplanned arrival, their food saved. Ace plays the pretend annoyed card, telling you now that meats gonna go wasted >:/, meanwhile Deuce is trying to explain to the injured civilian leaning against the tree that they will eat them! They just have to stop you from seeing… (He acts like they wanna be eaten 😭). Little do you know they’re only still alive because of you… While they’re distracted you signal the innocent to run away. When they turn around, they look back at you like, :( aww man. But they could never get mad at you lmao.

and Riddle?? His stiches??? The way he looks here??? He looks so stoic like a real ruler!! Perhaps he sees trespassers on the ground, ready to strike them down immediately for their transgressions, but then he sees you walking right behind them, and now he can’t help but let this rule breaking pass. He must know why exactly you’re with this guy… Then he realizes it’s an unfortunate coworker of yours sent to aid you. How horrible for them, their missions will end just as quickly as it started… But then you step between him with that look on his face, telling him to just run him off… He hesitates for a moment, before saying okay. Little do you know, he doesn’t let violators off so easy. He lets them step off the grounds before popping up and doing what he must, after all… Who said they couldn’t leave their grounds?

at some point the goal is to draw a bit of each group (gotta redo my pomefire ones since they felt a bit rough ( ;꒳;) but for now we take baby steps towards it since i wanna draw fanart of like twst ocs too ive got my eyes on a grumpy pomefiore fish and an azul-hating rock and other aus too •ᴗ•

i figured with trey making him slightly off color would make sense since he could reasonably go out amongst the people (never mind his height and build lol) (ᵕ—ᴗ—)

but for cater trying to depict the "basics of a face but not seeing any details" made me think about how thatd look (○´―`)ゞso i figured caterd probs find a way to hide his face in a way that while you can see features from different angles, like the side and such, hed find a way to hide it as much as he could
