@alollinglaughingcat : this blog, my main blog, mostly for art not in a specific fandom, or inky mystery art, or oc art, or random stuff i wanna do or whatever
@incorrect-inkymystery : incorrect quotes and memes blog for Inky Mystery, feel free to submit quotes! or just ask questions idk lol
@leafpool-loves-ashfur : Warrior Cats sideblog, currently just a few rb’s, but I have like 90 drafts of stuff for a project im working on :)
@teentitanimals : blog for currently Batfam stuff, but was originally intended for Teen Titans stuff. so now i guess it’s just my DC blog
@emeraldguard-the : Owl House blog, mostly memes, occasional art, sometimes an au or two
@clauderry-berries : the Dragon Prince blog, mostly home to Clauderry, Rayllum, and Magefam
@lucky-charmed-to-meet-you : my Miraculous Ladybug blog for rbs mostly and links to MLB fics i’ve written and stuff
@stealmeawish : you get no context.
blogs im like never on but refuse to get rid off:
@slndytbbies : Slendy Tubbies sideblog. never posted anything. had an entire AU and everything, you know how it goes
@inkapoca : was for an AU of BatIM. Now it’s nothing. some old posts there tho. might use it for BatIM reblogs one day
@detroit-becomefeline : wanted to draw all of Detroit: Become Human as cats. never did (digitally, at least). no posts. might reblog DBH stuff there one day
@the-ocvees : Pokemon/Eeveelutions side-blog. originally for an eeveelution comic idea i had about “The OCvees”. i actually have more about it on my DeviantArt . I posted some stuff on Tumblr, but im prob not continuing the comic, like, ever
@eeveelutionsclan : had an idea to draw Warriors as eeveelutions. never did. not a post. but if you request a cat on that blog, there’s like a 50% i’ll draw it
@reblogatron600 : actually i just made this one. i had this idea awhile back, cause i dont rlly like reblogging stuff when it doesnt fit my theme or whatever, and i ended up losing a few posts with information i wanted to go look back at because i was too stubborn to reblog them. so now this will just become a reblog spam that i can surf through to find what i need

week 2
okay here we go again! This weeks coverage is gonna be:
research / seeing a clearer picture and also
more research on AR methods!
link to week 2.1 where id be talking about artstyles and also storyline plots cause i feel like that deserves its own blog post :v)
So reflecting on my last one on one session with my lecturer Louise, i decided to enhance more of my research so i can see a clearer picture of what i’m doing and also fixing my words document-
so due to that i guess it’d be easier if i draw out 3 personas to help me guide what they wanted and how i can fix their problems with my project:
meet my 3 personas!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My goal for this project is to allow players/ users be immersed into this project so they could reflect themselves or their loved ones better , hence why the attention span is important for this project. Other than being attractive through eyes, i too hope to capture hearts and allow players to feel empathy towards my characters. Those are the few goals that i needed to capture for this project.
Other than that, i had reflected my target objectives, notable parts of the stroyline and tried to carve out convincing points for my learning target/project outcomes.
I have updated all of them in my words document hopefully its alright :v)
Also, other relevancy; for some reason during this pandemic almost 50% of real life couples that i knew broke up due to communication, trust issues and problems so, maybe thats relevant too?
Anyway, on research onto  AR softwares--
---------------------other than doing research for my main topic, ---------------------------
ive also done some side discussions with people close to me and has experience making VR/AR/programming , one of them suggested and recommended me on using either Artivive or A frame as they had used that on their previous projects too,
Artivive
-seems easier to use, like Adobe Aero -allows MP4 files rather than slapping the image directly on the app and managing the animations from there
A Frame
-more coding based like unity i guess
After doing more research and finding more videos about hwo the to tools work, i lean more towards on leaning Artivive but i also fear because the app is also not available in our country so itd give a lot of restrictions for other users.
I’ll probably try to play around with it tonight and make an update afterwards!
- Although so,talking about adobe Aero, i tried playing with adobe aero through my friend’s Ipad but it couldn’t map the flooring as well as i thought i seen it done in videos. Not sure if it was my problem or whatnot.
UPDATE:
my experience with Artivive with old artworks and random images that i saved in my laptop :))
youtube
So i guess i cant make it interactive as how i wanted it to go- but if i’d like it to be just still video based i guess that would be my no.1 option because of how easy it actually is to use! All i needed to do was slap an image and put my video and it was done! so surprisingly easy :o - Also, layering another image isn’t possible as duplicates are not allowed on the website so there goes that idea once again. Theres so much that i need to underlay for each AR tools that i’d be using.
i need a table cause theres so much cons and pros for each of the platforms after learning each about them and messing enough with them :( i have also recently signed up for unity AR so i could test on hwo t use them first hand (hence why i would need 5 working days for them to comfirm my student account too lol) but onto the table i have mapped out; will be updated when i learn more information!
Tumblr media
UPDATE 22/6 and :
i have just found out about unreal engine has AR components. Ill check it out for week 3 update.
I have also recently manage to download Unity from another friend who has an existing account due to my impatience for waiting for my own but im struggling to understand how it works actually i need to try harder and find more tutorials and seek help :(

Visit PBN, GuestPost or Syndication for Backlink Building for the whole story
Backlink Building
We can spend all day optimizing our pages for keywords that we researched for days and never rank content on Google Search.  Its just the cold hard fact that in SEO onpage optimization is the easiest thing and it used to work in the 1990s … heck back then you could keyword stuff and just repeat the same phrase enough in the background and you’d get some traction.  Yes, SEO is dead … if thats the SEO you are using.
Backlinks moved in and added some credence to the claims that our content should rank for this or that keyword.  It made sense, each site that links to you with the anchor text including your keyword was that site basically vouching for your content.  If thats all you think backlinks are then … Yes, SEO is dead … simply having a ton of links to your site isn’t a sure fire way to demonstrate that your content is rank worthy anymore.
Backlinks created a storm of opportunity in SEO for gaming the system and stacking the deck.  I love telling people about the Google Bomb Miserable Failure and how it defined George Bush in 2004.  Or the story of the downfall of JCPenny who mysteriously ranked number one for all manner of their products until Google took manual action and basically they have never recovered.  Those bring me to these games we developed in an effort to fool Google into making us number one in SERPs.
Link Building Schemes
Everything I’m going to mention below in this discussions is a link building scheme.  Just like buying multiple domains and having them all for one business, some call it a multi-domain strategy, all of these are understood to be below the belt with Google penalties in the wait.  But thats not exactly true, I strongly think theres a time and place for each of these tools today and they do all still work, it’s how you use them and why.
Anything done to increase backlinks is a link building scheme, thats basically the definition of it.  Which is why I roll my eyes when a client is interviewing me for backlink building and says “white hat only” … that means content improvement only.  Otherwise its all a scheme for building backlinks.
PBN Private Blog Networks in 2019
Backlinks are not dead.  You just cant have links pointing to you from irrelevant sites that have no purpose or traffic anymore.  Thats actually good and its making searches useful again.
But what you may call a PBN may be a workshop for testing, what if I as a high school english teacher assigned my 150 students to create blogs and made their homework to discuss the assigned books I’ve given them for the year?  They’ll all point to the same links likely.  Is that a Private Blog Network?  If you feel it is then are we saying that the students work, their content, is not going to be of value to someone else searching for that same book?
In the easiest terms a true PBN is simply a site thats up that has no real purpose other than to link to other sites.  You can spot them when you see them.  I’d argue that the example of the students I made is not one and its more so the intent of the author.  The student example though likely falls into most people’s definition of a link building scheme.
Effect of a Press Release in 2018
Press Releases for Backlinks
Sometime around the time PBNs were being hunted like vampires for de-indexing someone realized they could put links on publication websites with the ease of a press release.  They likely did it several times and each time it was a little less relevant … not newsworthy what they were announcing.
“Such And Such Company hires Dan Guy” isn’t of importance and no one other than Dan probably cares.  And they told someone else and it ballooned into abuse of Press Releases for backlinks which Google clamped down on to a large degree.  No-follow links started coming from the sites and the press release died.  But not totally.
Link Exchange / Reciprocal Links
Quid Pro Quo is more than just a sexual harassment term that means this for that.  I often get emails from people complimenting an article and then pointing out that they weren’t included in the topic and if I link to them, they’ll link to me.  Now honestly every chance Ive had Ive added the link and left the link back to the wayside … usually thats what I get and thats why folks hate swapping links because theres little reason to expect the link to remain in force.
I dont know what it looks like but I’ll know it when I see it.  Too bad it isnt that simple one person puts that phrase as “I know it when I see it, and someone else will know it when they see it, but what they see and what they know may or may not be what I see and what I know, and that’s okay.”
GuestPosts for Backlinks
Then someone decided, hey let’s write for each other.  And of course…that got out of control with Cat Blogs including Dog articles and Dog articles about catching mice.  The lines got blurred and it was hard to tell what was what.   Again though just like before its hard to tell when something is off limits, it makes sense for Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper to guest post on each others blogs before they do a New Years Eve special together … ( they were great, miss it) but … is that going to hurt their SEO on each others site?
It shouldn’t even though they are pretty darn different they have a legitimate reason and their viewers and readers probably eat that content up.  Again, the intent of the author is in play and the value to the readers.
Syndicated Articles for Backlinks
So a marriage of Press Releases and Guest Posts are Syndicated Content.  People generally freak out over it because of the fairy troll that someone made up called ” Duplicate Content ” it isn’t important.  Don’t waste time worrying about Duplicate Content.
Think about the Associated Press … they write an article about a war in some far off place and then 2000 news sites place the article on their homepages, does that mean that all those news sites are penalized?  No … and Google says and has said for a decade what I’m telling ya here.  There is in fact no Duplicate Content penalty.
But again its the intent of the author and the value of the content that decides if it’s a link building scheme.
User Behavior – Bounce Rate, Visit Duration
Google Analytics becomes a taddle tell.   How do we determine the value of content to the reader?  User Behavior is the biggest ranking factor these days.   We all love free right?  So we added Google Analytics everywhere and it tells us stuff thats really very sensitive about how people interact with our content.
Stuff that say a search engine company might want to know if it were trying to judge your site’s content using user behavior as the biggest metric for keyword ranking.  And BOOM now ya get it.  If ya don’t then go back onpage and say that keyword a few more times, cause you’re in the wrong class.
That free data is also the data that your giving to Google for free for them to track everyone on the web and determine how people interact with your content vs. your competitors site which likely also has Google Analytics.
No one in SEO really connects the dots … they help push clients onto Google Analytics but its been talked about before even on Moz.com they note 7 reasons why you should not use Google Analytics.  They point out in the fourth reason …
4. Giving Big G too much information.
Google sees everything you see. Think about that…they know everything. Do you really want to be responsible for giving them that kind of power? Supposedly that’s the trade off for the fact that…
How Do We Build Backlinks Then In 2019?
Use any method that actually fits the need, the tools above are all valid and in play.  You just cant abuse it and shamelessly do something in the goal to gain a backlink.  Share GuestPosts but put some effort into it and speak to the other site’s readers.  Send a press release but do it when its actually news worthy stuff.  If McDonald’s found a way to make organic fat free fast food that tastes just the same .. they’d likely make a press release and the user behavior would suggest those links are valid.

Why You Should Integrate Your Newsletter with Your Construction Website
You do great work. You pave roads, build buildings, plan out structures to make them stand through the test of time. You put just as much effort into your construction company’s website as you do your business.
And you may be asking yourself, “Does anyone know it’s there?” How can I make sure people are seeing it?
Do something about it. Check.
Maybe you’ve gone as far as to set up and maintain an email newsletter system. If so, odds are good you’re manually sending emails with your new projects and blog posts to your prospects and clients. Let us just stop to say, go you! Pat yourself on the back for understanding the value of email marketing!
Though with all of the template creation, the content development, the copying and pasting, the photographing, the scheduling…it’s a process. It takes forever. And at the end of the day, it’s yet another thing on your list of craps you’ve gotta get done.
What about that thing called automation?
Your equipment uses GPS and you are manually creating emails? That’s so 1998.
So what if you could add something to your website and have an email newsletter that generates automatically and sends to your list? An automated system, like GPS for your website that talks your email and BAM makes it for you? Now that’s 2017.
Drum roll please….theres is a way!
You should have seen the happy dance we broke into when we discovered this capability. It was intense. We employed a human intern whose whole job was dedicated to manually building our email newsletters. After implementing the magic of automated newsletters, all she had to do was get us coffee, like a real intern’s supposed to do.
Just kidding. We make her file…and spell check things, gotta earn your keep around here. Go get your own coffee.
Invented by exceptionally smart humans, or possibly monkeys.
Some exceptionally smart human who must have been as pained as you are with the labor-intensive task of creating email newsletters must have thought, “Maybe we can create an email system that pulls in information from RSS files and adds it to an email so humans don’t have to do it themselves!”
These smart humans are actually employed by MailChimp. And man did these guys pull it off. Well, it’s possible they’re not guys, or even people. They might be monkeys. Really smart monkeys. Either way, kudos to you, MailChimp. Kudos.
So how does the magic happen?
It begins with your RSS file.
If you have blogging functionality incorporated into your website it has what’s called an RSS file. (Real Simple Syndication) The file is essentially a text output of the content on your blog that automatically refreshes as the site is updated. Sort of like GPS does for navigation. GPS navigation can’t tell you where to go next if it doesn’t know where you are. The RSS feed tells the email system the most recent movements on your website so the email can tell everyone else.
Right now you’re probably thinking, “but I don’t have a blog so this is not for me.” Don’t stop reading yet. Stick with it! If you’re web developer isn’t a total tool shed they likely set up your Completed Projects or Portfolio section using a blog like system. Because that makes it easier for you to update. If this is the case, your Portfolio information is added to the RSS file everytime you update your site.
You want the magic?
In an attempt to skip over the long-winded explanation of what RSS files are and how you can use them, you essentially can tell your RSS feed what to include and automatically generate into your email newsletters using MailChimp’s RSS campaign feature.
This is all sounding pretty unbelievable, right? You’re about ready to do this thing, and we don’t blame you. There are a just few things you’ll need to do to capture the magic for yourself.
Access your website’s RSS file.
Your feed may be located at http://ift.tt/2vZnLxB, check there first. It could also be at http://ift.tt/2uOH6CP give that a try, then if you’re still not sure it’s time to talk to your web guru. Ask your web developer for a link to your RSS feed. If that scares the living daylights out of you, your web developer should be able to take care of this whole email integration deal. Just outline for them what you want to include in your automatic emails. And if your web developer doesn’t know how to do this, we know a good one who can give you a hand.
Make sure your projects and blog posts are being added to your RSS feed.
Make sure when you add a project or make a blog post it’s being added to your RSS feed. Remember earlier when we talked about the potential relationship between a tool shed and your web developer? You’ll need to do some detective work to uncover their tool status.
Look at your RSS feed, search for a tag that looks like this: <title>. The title of your most recent blog post or project name should be next to it. If this is the case, you’re in business.
If not, your blog posts or projects are not being added to the feed so they also can’t be added to the newsletter. That doesn’t mean you can’t ever automate your newsletters, it just means you have to adjust that part of your website first so you can.
Sign up for a MailChimp account.
This part’s easy. Go to MailChimp and get started with a free account. What’s great about this service is you can use the RSS email newsletter feature with all their subscription plans, even the free one.
When you’re in MailChimp building your campaign, there’s like, a button. And you click it. And add your RSS and recipient information. And done. It’s that simple and bonus, they have step by step instructions on their website. Here’s to wishing there were more vendors out there doing this, but we hear it’s hard, so hard humans couldn’t even do it. We had to rely on a group of monkeys to pull it off, once again kudos moneys.
Harness the magic.
Handling website code of any kind in conjunction with starting a new service is enough to unhinge most people and send them off into the deep end. That’s why we’ve included a handful of useful resources to guide you through integrating your email newsletter with your construction website.
RSS-to-Email Feature in MailChimp This page provides a general overview of the MailChimp feature you can use to automatically share your new blog posts and projects automatically via email.
Share Your Blog Posts with MailChimp Here’s a step-by-step guide for using an RSS campaign to email your latest blog posts and projects to your subscribed contacts.
All the Merge Tags Cheat Sheet This lovely page features all of the merge tags MailChimp offers for pulling in all kinds of dynamic information into your emails. Grab a snack and prop your feet up–there’s a lot of good stuff in here.
Featured Images in RSS & MailChimp Email If you’re on WordPress, images aren’t going to be pulled into your email automatically the way the text is pulled. We use a plugin called Featured Images in RSS Feeds. Check it out. Cause pictures make things pretty.
Additional useful resources for RSS tags:

Get GPS for your email, you won’t regret it.
Automation. It’s where the world seems to be headed, isn’t it? Don’t get left behind by letting website and newsletter integration become another task for another day. We get it–change is hard. We’ve been in this place, remember the human intern who just made newsletters?
Say goodbye to hours spent each week gathering content and updating your email newsletter template with new words and pictures. Say hello to gobs of time opening up on your calendar you can use doing more important things for your business.
