AGH FASHION DESIGNER SUGURU AND MODEL SATORU W A NEW INTERN DESIGNER UNDER THEIR WING 😞😞â˜č - đŸŒș
WAHHHH I LOVE THIS đŸ„șđŸ„șđŸ„ș the pining and flirting and slowburn of it all
model!satoru and his favorite designer suguru geto, both of them undeniably skilled and born with an eye for fashion
.. well-known and adored

..
designer!suguru who gets tasked with showing you the ropes, who’s always so patient and kind despite your inexperience. diligent with his teaching but also so laidback, so easy to talk to
he looks intimidating, but he’s so polite that you can’t help but swoon a little. and he admires your enthusiasm so much

grows fond of you soooo quickly bc you’re just such a breath of fresh air compared to the divas he’s forced to work with all the time. he thinks you’ve got real potential and he wants to nurture it.
and ofc you end up running into model!satoru eventually
. bc he’s always hanging around suguru whenever he gets the chance. and he’s maybe a little jealous that you’re hogging so much of his personal designer’s attention, but
he also thinks you’re so cute . T_T like a little puppy following suguru around
so excited to be apart of what you’ve dreamed of for so many years

he looks into your eyes and sees the same sparkle he had before he made it big, and it makes his heart race.
yeah . i’m just thinking abt the peaceful coffee breaks with suguru
.. how he’d insist on paying for your drink, ”since he’s your senior” (he wants to be your favorite </3)

and how he’d just be so protective over his little intern. don’t get me started on the close proximity with satoru when you’re taking his measurements, the glance and smile he sends your way during an impromptu shoot
the way he always calls for you with a sweet coo of ”how’s my favorite intern doing today?”
😔😔😔 yeahhhhhh. they make me feel ill.

idk if i'll ever write this fic fully out but i wrote this full outline if anyone wants to read curseless ghost au with stsg growing up together, soulmateisms, softness, violin player gojo etc etc â˜ș

in light of jjk 261 leaks i get to add like seven more final fuck yous from gege to gojo to this list but im too busy inhaling copium to do that
see tags and my twitter i guess for actual commentary i ran out of website blocker time for twitter so i ran here to scream some more
happy 12/24-25! i think too often about the “gege hates gojo” jokes because holy shit it is PERSONAL with gege
like yeah he sealed him and killed him but like. every aspect of gojo’s character is just so. gege really said “i’m going to make you the strongest character in the history of ever and you’re going to be cool and attractive and funny and your fans will love you, BUT:
The entire point of your character is that no matter how much power you have, you are helpless to save the people you truly care about
You’re so powerful that the only way you can narratively exist without destroying every enemy in jjk other than Sukuna is to get snatched away, sealed, get your powers taken away, or die (even in the fucking video game you only get a certain number of turns to act before you get yoinked)
You can never escape the system you were born into because your power has become your character
You’ll think you’re changing the system for the better but end up perpetuating the system anyway in allowing children to go on dangerous missions
You cannot supervise said children on dangerous missions because you’re running around Japan like a headless chicken at the whims of the higher ups
You never got the chance to fully grow up because a part of you died when Toji killed you and a part of you died when Suguru left you and what else is there left
Your own desire for power blinded you to your best friend’s depression and it’s one of your greatest regrets yet a part of you still thinks Suguru wasn’t strong enough to keep up which is why you keep saying you want strong allies who can keep up with you and you are just terribly equipped to handle your students’ emotional challenges and insecurities even though you try your best
You will never make any emotional connections as lovely as the one from your youth which you still cry about on the rare occasions you actually sleep
You will only be able to tell Suguru you love him right before you KILL HIM
No matter whether Suguru was your best friend, ex-boyfriend, crush that you never confessed to, or boy you only realized you were in love with after he left you, you will NEVER be able to get over him and an evil brain will use this against you and several people you care about will get fucked over because you cared too much
Even though your students/coworkers sometimes like you the first thing 99% of them think of when they think of you is “The Strongest” and even in your breakup arc Suguru, the one person you wanted to stand by your side and share the title, began to think of you in that way as well and distanced himself from you because of it.
The narrative requires that you be lonely at the top as a direct consequence of your power - even metaphorically, infinity separates you from the rest of the world and your wide range of destruction makes it so allies are a hindrance in battle and you could destroy the people you dare about in seconds (see: thank fuck todo stopped yuuji from stepping into range of purple)
You are going to fight the boy you may or may not have raised from childhood because of the other boy with Sukuna inside him that he asked you to save and you can’t hesitate because the last time you hesitated about someone you cared about you got sealed and people died
You may or may not have died to the strongest curse of all time and are left forever unsatisfied even in death because not only was your culty/cunty best friend not there to cheer you on, but you think Sukuna couldn’t even go all out against you, the strongest sorcerer of your time, despite strength being your whole thing
and as a bonus, you also “died” after cockily saying “Nah I’d win” which will get extensively memed on the internet at your expense”
like not to woobify gojo or anything but oh my god jesus fucking christ gege
he was like “ill make you hot as a treat mostly for myself because i like drawing hot men but you’re going to be so incredibly fucking doomed by the narrative in every possible way”
like he loves drawing shirtless men but he never drew gojo shirtless like gege!! GEGE!!!! what did he DO to deserve this level of narrative ire omfg

stsg420’s fanfic recs!!! (on-going)
—————
SMUTTY CONTENT WILL LOOK LIKE THIS
—————
STSG
Knife-Edged Butterfly -> I rated this: 20/10
‱ suguru is a sexy girl-dad stripper. satoru is a “retired” assassin/special agent who loves chicken wings & annoying nanami (crazy!!!!) mahito is a deranged bitch trying to kill everyone. but holy fucking shit???? this was so amazing and the fluff was probably the most well-written and comforting fluff I've ever encountered on the internet. I can’t even explain how articulate and amazing the writing and characterizations in this fic are. This is my #1.
Coanda Effect -> I rated this: 11/10
‱ formula one au. I’m sure y’all have seen it everywhere. there’s a reason for that. this fic right here has the potential to be my favorite stsg fic EVER written. the writing. the depth. the character progression. the intertwining plots. the relationships. the drama. oh my fucking god. I could go onnnnn and onnnn. there’s not too much smut but it’s perfect. absolutely perfect. go binge read RIGHT NOW ITS ALMOST FINISHED!!!!
There you are -> I rated this: 9.9/10
‱ set during the 10 years after geto defects. they meet up, because of course they do. they fuck each other and love each other and leave each other like always. it’s sad and hot and angry and bitter and so so so canon. the diction and writing style perfectly encapsulates their relationship. nurse!geto makes an appearance :)))))) do not read if you’re having a particularly sad stsg night (speaking from experience)
—————
GETO
Washing hair and the quiet acceptance of being loved -> I rated this: 10/10
‱ this fic right here. the ultimate comfort geto fic (until mine is releasedđŸ«Ą). I’m telling you this makes everything feel better. just 1k+ words of the fmc taking care of geto. because he is a princess and the loml and deserves nothing but the best care and treatment.
AuslÀnder -> I rated this: 9.9/10
‱ outlaw!geto, officer!gojo, and a badass fmc. she literally builds/runs her own town. this is a geto/fmc fic but there is unresolved tension with stsg. let me tell you, this is a work of ART. a MASTERPIECE. I wish I could get this tattooed on my brain. the fmc is soooo well written and has amazing depth. this is some delicious wild wild west type shit. lots of guns and saloons and chases on horses!!!! fucking incredible. I strongly urge you to read this.
Spin the Bottle -> I rated this: 9.8/10
‱ y’all already know. college au where suguru is your best friend, has the fattest crush on you & needs just a litttttlee bit of liquid courage to cross the line. it’s fantastic. it’s scrumptious. it’s indulging. it’s cover girl. I reread this twice a month. not joking. this is college suguru to his core and you can’t change my mind.

hello, do you have any fav stsg fics?
Hi anon!
I do indeed - even if I don't read as much ff as I'd like (my "to read" on AO3 gets bigger by the day) since I do tons of reading for work.
So I'm twisting this a bit and leaving below some fics I recently read and loved, and some of my highly-anticipated to read. Hope it works!
Current Favourites
Caesura by @cielelyse - Mature, 85.5k, multichapter, Complete This comes highly recommended in the fandom, and for a reasons. Rarely I read something so stunningly written and IC -- their teen Gojo is my favourite Gojo in the fandom, and the way she manages to mix character development & interactions with plot and romantic tension is chef's kiss. The narrative structure and use of language are stellar, too, often using interesting and unexpected turn of phrases. I think I devoured this in two sittings, and had to force myself to stop reading it. Fic is marked Mature for canon-typical violence rather than sex.
a spin around the rumor mill by ilovegetosuguru - General Audiences, 5K, Oneshot, Complete. The fist fic I read in this fandom, even before getting to ship stsg. This contains an unhealthy amount of fluff, great multi-characters characterisation, and speaks too well to anyone who went to uni and had to battle a shitty teacher. Nobara, in particular, is the gem that made me bookmark this. It's a one shot so it reads super quickly. Also sense of humor 10+++
Coanda Effect by @bunnieshoneys - Mature, 200k+, Multichapters, ongoing (22/24) Coanda Effect is a well loved ff and for a reason. I started it because I saw some great fanarts on Tiktok, despite the fact that was 100k+ at the time and I usually run away from fics that are already long. But the premise was great, and I thought why not. I proceeded to binge this in two weeks whilist losing my tube stop multiple times. What Coanda Effect really does -- that is addicting, really -- is beautifully lying down a spokon. You really care about the races. You start to understand how F1 works. And you find yourself having your favourite teams, too. It's also a compelling character study of Gojo and Geto, and I love that the author doesn't shy away in displaying their most unhealthy & complex traits, without oversimplifying their complexities. I read up to chapter 16, so I have a lots to catch up to, but I'd still highly recommend a read.
5 Times Gojo Satoru Tries to Rizz Up Geto Suguru and 1 Time He (Kind Of) Succeeds by seonghwaffles - Teen+, 16k, Multichapter, Complete Such a fun ride! This is perfect if you want anything with a very stupid, wipped Satoru, where everything he does goes wrong in the most improbable ways. Quick to read too!
Highly-Anticipated
Over the Threshold by @fushiglow -- Mature, 80k+, Multichapter, ongoing Idol AU featuring kpop idol Gojo and producer Geto. I know zero about this, but I quite like kpop and I find the industry fascinating (although brutal). I think the setting is up for some intresting dynamics, so I can't wait to dig into this one.
Cannibalization of the Apex by CharmPoint - Mature, 55k, multichapter, complete Fic where Gojo dies during the hidden inventory arc, comes back as a curse and is absorbed by Geto. The premise is just right up my street, I'm just waiting to be in the right state of mind to give this a read.
Hope this answers it anon!

hi!! just wondering if you have any stsg fic recs you’d be willing to share? i’m currently gobbling up 2sorcs like a gremlin and looking for something else to read between updates but i only really trust your opinions and characterizations which đŸ€ŒđŸŒđŸ€ŒđŸŒđŸ€ŒđŸŒ anyways love ur work and hope you’re doing well!!
Ah! First of all, thank you <3 I do have some fics I really like! I shall rec them and give a little anxiety disclaimer at the end.
Fic Recs - Shorties
it would make a whole - by @diggingupgrave 8.8k, T, First Year, Pre-Relationship, Emotional H/C oh i love this fic so very much. this may have been one of the fics that really got me thinking about their characterization in the first place, tbh.
As You Wish - by @haha-funny-valentine 2.5k, T, Post-Star Plasma Arc, Emotional H/C wonderful characterization here and I am just such a sucker for H/C.
The Heart of the Perfection of Wisdom - by @zombieheroine 16.3k, T, Prison Realm Gojo Character Study I took my skin off to check and I am shocked that this fic is not like, Doing Numbers. this fic is SO fucking creative and unique and I just. love. it. Definitely a big inspiration for FIYM. It's like Harrow the Ninth but for Gojo in the Prison Realm and like, oh my god so well done imo.
Longfic Recs with Caveats
and if you take my hand (series) - by @detta-pica 40k (Ongoing), T, Witch AU, Slow Burn Caveat: this is a WIP, and we're in the early part so very much Unresolved Romantic Tension. But I really like the worldbuilding in this and I'm excited to follow it as it keeps going, so big rec here if you like Plot and are down to follow some more ongoing fics. :)
coanda effect - by @bunniehoneys 250k, M, F1 AU, Slow Burn, Eating Disorders, Drugs, Bad Choices I am probably the last person in the world to read this fic so it feels silly to rec, but I'm doing it anyway because I'm a little obsessed. Caveat 1: also technically a WIP for another week or two
Caveat 2: TAGS check the tags. If you are at all sensitive to discussion of EDs, skip this fic, but I think it's done well and adds a lot to the characterization
Caveat 3: I am not caught up on this fic. it's one that I didn't let myself read for a while (see below) but F1 has a special place in my heart (my dad is into it, I used to live in a Gran Prix city, and I have watched WAY too much F1 Lets Play content).
I've been working really shitty hours for the past 48 hours (almost done) due to research that requires specific spans of real earth time. Because I don't have the focus to write right now, I've had the chance to read a little, and I've read about 75% of this gargantuan fic in windowless rooms on my phone, which has to say something about how much I love it lmao.
Disclaimer: I am a bad source of stsg fics because I actually don't read very many. If I read amazing fic then it tends to trigger the "you will never be as good as the old masters" part of the brain, although instead of real art like in the meme, my fic is putting gojo in a minecraft hoodie and making him do the gangnam style dance. Still.
I also get very unhealthy about metrics/numbers, which I mostly manage by using AO3 skins to block stats, but I still have some moments of weakness. So I try to avoid looking at stuff that I know might make me anxious/insecure about my own works and be unable to finish them (this has unfortunately happened to me before in the FE3H fandom, and that continues to weigh on me).
All that to say, there are some really big, nice, and well-loved fics by wonderful authors currently being updated, and I have read almost none of them. So this is absolutely not me saying I don't like their characterizations, I'm just kind of a hermit.

the mandatory beach fic bcs nobody will ever write what i want and i have to do it myself
summer days and the heat haze pt.1 (geto x reader x gojo) pt.ii
PSA TO START PUTTING UR DAMN AGES IN UR BIOS OR AT LEAST HAVE SOME WAY TO CONVEY YOUR AGE OR ELSE I HAVE TO BLOCK SO MANY OF YOU EVERYDAY 😭
warnings: third year au, i want to see stsg happy, nobody requested this, can you believe i let gojo shine in this, i’m starting to use more curse words, slight spice, barely any shoko (SORRY)
You settle the luggage on the wooden floor, humming softly as you as you unpack your belongings. Suguru is helping beside you, his expression as calm as ever as he helps settle the heavier bags by your side.
You try to lift one of the bigger duffel bags he was carrying. (It can’t be that heavy, right?)
Your arms give, the strain screaming at your muscles. Even using the full strength of your body, the bag remains on the floor, you barely lifted an inch off the ground.
(Gojo’s entire bathroom was in there.)
A chuckle was heard as you feel a hand on your shoulder, gently pushing you aside as Geto moves forth and picks up the bag with ease, throwing it over his shoulder with one hand.
He pats your head, a consolation for trying.
“Leave it to me.”
You pout, indignant and slightly embarrassed. “I could’ve done that too.”
He smiles. “I’m sure you could’ve.”
You hold back your retort when you hear the door creak open, Shoko walking in, arms crossed with a pair of one of the many sunglasses Gojo owned upon her face, a lax Satoru with his arms folded behind his head trailing behind her. His Hawaiian shirt was left unbuttoned all the way, whistling as he shut the door behind him.
“I don’t see why we have to all sleep in the same room.” Shoko had puffed out, her various bags strewn on the waxed, expensive flooring of the lodge. “Especially with you two.”
“I think it’d be fun.” You assured, trying to console your huffy friend as you helped organize everyone’s skincare products on top of a dresser. “Like a sleepover!”
“Gojo’s redeeming qualities?” She paused, twirling a strand of her hair with her finger before she smiled.
“His wallet. And only that.”
“Aww, I knew you’d love it at least!” You’re suddenly tackled from behind, a buff arm latching itself around your hips as you fell backwards from the sudden weight, your head coming into contact with a hard chest.
Shoko had grown increasingly annoyed with the humidity of the vacation home, heading off to find the remote for the AC whilst admiring the interior with hidden excitement.
(Luxury sure felt good.)
Gojo nuzzled his face into your hair from above, “I knew my darling (name) would enjoy my plans!” He snuggled close to you, other arm coming just below your breasts, brushing dangerously close as he innocently snuggled against you.
“Satoru, did you forget your toothbrush?!”
You feel Gojo huff into your neck.
“No!”
“And why is your bag only full of snacks?!”
“(nameeeeee),” You hear him whine into your ear. “Tell Suguru to stop yelling at me!” He sniffles, arms tightening around your form as he felt the giggles rumbling from your body.
(You’re so cute.)
“Suguru!” You call out, feeling the man behind you physically straighten, anticipating your defense for him that will surely let him off the hook from his boyfriend.
“Satoru didn’t bring your hair mask!”
“Wha- You traitor!” Betrayal.
“HE WHAT?”
——
Sundress billowing in the wind, holding onto your sun hat as you breathed in the fresh ocean air.
“Enjoying yourself?”
Suguru had called out whilst sitting on the mat he had set up on the sand, watching you tenderly as the wind blew through your hair, a bottle of sunscreen in his hands.
“More so than usual.” You grin, kicking your sandals off and letting your hat flop itself down onto a pile of the shared belongings as you roll onto the mat beside him.
(It was quiet. Shoko having been sent off to get the drinks from the fridge as Satoru was tasked with getting the toys he had brought along to ‘Spice up the ocean fun!’)
He laughs, laying down beside you before propping himself up on his elbow, his body turned to the side as he watched you. His eyes trailed you from top to bottom, enjoying the sight of you all pretty and happy.
“No swimsuit? I’m disappointed.” It was teasing, feigned hurt in his voice as he prodded at your lack of swimming attire whilst at a beach.
(He didn’t mind at all. You looked gorgeous in that dress.)
You giggled. “It’s in here,” Your hand came up to your chest, lightly pulling the fabric down to expose your cute swimsuit.
(Suguru had averted his eyes, much like the gentleman he was.)
“But you’re right. Maybe I should take it off.” You sigh out, noticing how Suguru’s own hawaiian shirt had already been unbuttoned, showing off his sculpted abs and broad chest.
(You would’ve kept staring if he hadn’t snapped you out of it with that knowing smirk on his face.)
You began to undo the ribbons on your shoulders, letting the straps fall and flutter down to around your waist. Tugging down your long skirt and off your legs as your cute one piece swimsuit, with it’s adorable little ribbon highlights and in a calm shade of pink, was revealed to a pair of hungry eyes.
Eyes that were reveling in the sight of your bare skin, soft and glossy and beautiful.
“As expected, it suits you.”
You laugh, lightly shoving Geto’s shoulder. “Say that to yourself first. I like the matching shirts you and Satoru have on
” You trail off, noticing the cream he had yet to pop open in his hand.
“Can I help?”
——
You squeeze the sunscreen into your hands, letting it coat your fingers as uncertainty overtook you.
Was it really okay to touch him?
You hear him laugh, as if he knew of your hesitance.
“You can touch me, you know?”
(He doesn’t mind if it’s you.)
With confirmation, you gingerly begin to work the sunscreen onto his back, running over every muscle, eyes politely looking away from the claw marks that were almost fading away.
(Scars not gained from a dangerous mission. But from a certain white-haired man.)
He gets up, turning his body and settling you on his lap, a grateful smile on his face. “Thank you.”
Your arms came up to wrap around his neck to remain steady, not knowing you were so close to him already. The proximity barely there, chest all pressed up against his own bare one.
Suguru is attractive. You already knew that. But looking at him up close, it’s really quite the experience.
Your hands hold his face subconsciously, a method to let you get a better look.
He lets you.
“Suguru
” Your thumbs caress the eyebags formed from countless sleepless nights plagued by nightmares of the past.
“You’re pretty.”
It’s silent, the lull of the waves crashing gently against the shore. The seagulls calling alongside the faint chatter of the crowd.
You’re thankful for picking such a secluded spot.
You hear him burst out laughing, a larger hand coming up to cup over one of your own, his hands warm, rough. It felt good nonetheless.
“I think
”He brings your held hand up to his lips, lightly kissing the skin, holding your gaze with his. “You’re prettier.”
You fluster under his intense stare and sweet actions.
He tucks back a strand of your hair.
“Your turn now, I suppose?” He chuckles, thumb mindlessly tracing circles on your hip. His hand was warm. Trailing slow and sensual in nature as you shivered slightly.
You’re staring into his eyes again. If
If you moved closer, you’d both kis-
“Are you both done flirting over here?”
Shoko. She’s back with the drinks. Suguru doesn’t falter even at her appearance, his strong hands cupping themselves around your waist.
“Not yet.” He sends a grin towards her, his chin upon your shoulder. “Mind leaving us alone for a while more?”
——
“What’s a beautiful lady like you doing out here?”
You stiffen. (Where’s Shoko? Suguru? Sato-)
“I asked you a question, lady.” The two men tower over you, one with his hands on his hip
“I’m just- L-Looking for my friends?”
“Well, how about us? You and I could get really acquainted with each other.” He said that last sentence with a purr, his friend laughing out loud and calling him a sleaze as his eyes uncomfortably trailed you from head to toe.
“Um, that’s nice and all, but I-I think my own friends are worried about me.” You move to leave, trying to get past their bigger bodies.
“Hey, hey.” He blocks your path. “We’re just trying to be friendly, you know?” His eyes remain glued to your chest.
“You look real pretty. Haven’t seen ya round before.” You heard the other say, his arm brushing you as you flinched away.
“Yo, don’t need to be so scared, pretty girl. We’re harmless.”
Their words felt dirty, the way the words trailed from their mouths so different from the way Suguru or Satoru would say them.
(You didn’t like it.)
“Here, take a popsicle. Our treat.” His hand outstretched, holding the already unwrapped aforementioned treat.
“It’s okay, I-I don’t want it.” Your reply is immediate, unrest beginning to seep into your bones as you begin to back away, turning around only to be met with the other man.
(You’d rather deal with 100 curses than any of these men.)
“Come on, girl. Just try it, will you? We so kindly bought it just for pretty ladies like you.” He shoves the treat in your face, looking slightly melted from the heat of the sun.
“I’m
 really fine, thank you
” Your voice was beginning to grow small, your trembling hand struggling to hold the stupid treat. You’re afraid again.
(Why? Stop. Stop being scared.)
His eyebrows furrowed in annoyance, hand raised. “Listen, bitch-“
A hand reaches out, grasping the man’s wrist in his hand and taking a chomp out of your popsicle. He smacks his lips, tasting the treat as he chewed, before he spits it out, sticking his tongue out in disgust, as if airing it out to rid itself of the taste.
“Blegh. Tastes like cheap shit.”
Gojo grabs it out of his hold, ignoring the pointed looks of the increasingly agitated teenagers as he drops it onto the sand.
“You shouldn’t eat such things,” He coos, approaching you and tilting your head up whilst the other caressed your cheek. Your eyes nervously flit between him and the surrounding men. “Suguru’s gonna come back with better ones, yeah? We’ll eat them together.” His arm pulls you in by your waist, settling itself on your bare skin. He’s comforting you.
“Yo dude, what’s your probl-“
“Ah, ah, ah.” He tuts, shushing him as the men begin to close in on the both you. “Can’t you see I’m trying to console my sugar honey bunny from the bad, ugly men trying to get with her?”
“Mwah!” He kisses your forehead. “Don’t worry my sweetest snookums, I’ll give you so many kisses you’ll forget the disgusting sight you saw today!”
(You’re cringing at the nickname, but so thankful for being saved. You’ll tolerate it just for now.)
“Look, your bitc-“
“Hey.” Gojo finally looks the so called ‘leader’ in the eye. “Could you kindly shut up?”
“Why you little-!” You hardly had time to react before Gojo had caught the attacker’s fist.
Holding the man’s fist in his palm, slowly squeezing as the boy screams, slow, loud cracks emanating as Gojo smiles, hearing the satisfying breakage of his fingers.
“Fuck! My fucking hand-! Isamu, you useless fucker! Call the damn- Agh!”
Gojo kicks the boy back, making him land on his ass as he continued to grip his broken hand in pain.
“Oops. You crying already?” Satoru’s hand is back around your waist as he begins to walk you away from the scene. “Better get that checked out soon.” He salutes the duo, leading you away as you nervously follow, eyes flitting between the boy hunched over on the ground, clutching his hand as he cried in excruciating pain.
“You bastard
!”
The other boy suddenly pounced, lunging at the both of you with a thirst for revenge, the shine of a pocket knife glinting in the sunlight.
You act immediately, holding your hand out to form your barrier befor-
You blink. You’re back at the lounge, landing softly upon the couch.
“What? You didn’t actually expect me to stay out there, did you?” Satoru yawned, stretching out on the sofa.
“Plus, you and Suguru would’ve been more mad at me if I attacked the other one too.” He mumbled, grabby hands reaching for you.
You’re speechless. You don’t even complain when he pulls you onto his lap, arms winded tight around you as he cuddles into you.
“Now rub my head and praise me if you’re thankful.”

Notes:
I imagine Gojo in this to be less tolerant of non-sorcerers, never really growing into the mindset that the ‘Strong HAVE to protect the weak’. At most he tolerates them, but doesn’t really care. If they get hurt, so be it.
Geto, on the contrary, is a strong believer of the aforementioned mindset.
Suguru does not like being touched. He WILL actively avoid people and isn’t afraid to show it. There are only certain people who can bypass this unsaid rule of his. (You are one of them.)
Shoko, did not, in fact leave you and Suguru alone. She made a big show of making you lay on your front, undoing the top of your swimsuit and exposing your bare back as she smoothed her hand over your skin. (With sunscreen on her hand.)
When Suguru looks at you, it’s hard to describe. All you can ever see is how lovely his smile is, how loving his gazes can get. It’s a lovely experience. You love it when he does it.

Satoru’s workshop is separated from the front of the shop by an appropriately witchy bead curtain. The heavy wooden table on which he prepares charms is positioned strategically so that he can see the counter, the entrance, and most of the shelves through the wide doorway. He handles orders that have been piling up for a couple of days while Megumi deals with walk-ins. Shadow is a white bunny today, sitting so still on the counter that he looks like he might be taxidermied. They work in silence. Things have been a bit tense since Tsumiki’s reappearance. Satoru tried talking at first, which got them absolutely nowhere, so he figures it’s best to give Megumi some space. Satoru puts the finishing touches on a protection charm he’s working into a silverware set. It’s going to neutralise most allergens, while also helping with less serious ailments like reflux or indigestion. Shoko should be the one handling an order like this, but she’s had her hands full recently with minor injuries striking people seemingly at random. The few hours she spent in Satoru’s guest bedroom might be the only real sleep she’s gotten all week. Satoru gently deposits the silverware into a cut crystal bowl filled with mountain water and fresh herbs, wipes his hands dry, and joins Megumi up front just as the boy flips the sign by the door from open to closed. “You up for takeout, Megumi? I have a craving for burgers, personally.” “No, thank you.” Megumi collects his books--he likes to do his homework while the shop is quiet--into his bag, then picks up Shadow. “I’m not like you, Gojo-sensei. You don’t need to make sure I remember to eat.” Truly, Megumi is an old man in a kid’s body. This used to only be true sometimes, but since the beginning of Tsumiki’s hospital stay, Megumi has become even more responsible. He studies hard, never misses a shift at the shop, takes care of his and Tsumiki’s apartment, and has Shoko send him regular reports on his sister’s condition. He hasn’t beaten up a single punk in over a month. It’s concerning. “Can’t I spend time with my precious apprentice?” Satoru shakes his head sadly. “It’s like you don’t love me anymore.” “I’m here every day. You take up a solid eighty percent of my social life. What more do you want?” “That’s just sad, Megumi. You need friends your age.” Megumi puts his jacket on with aggressive efficiency. “I get together with Yaga-sensei’s apprentices every month. I meet every requirement we’ve agreed on, so please respect it when I take time for myself.” He stomps out of the shop, but closes the door gently. The lock snaps shut on its own.
Another sneak peek at the next present-time part of stsg witch AU. I'm slowly getting back into the rhythm of writing in this verse.

Just some thoughts on the observable pairs we see - satosugu and itafushi. Not really an analysis or anything - just sharing my observations. Blabbing as usual. I’m sure I’ll miss something, so feel free to comment or reblog!
Word vomit under cut (please be warned: I did say I wanted to blab ;_;)
I shared a more concise version on X but I guess I wanted to elaborate in a stream of consciousness style.
So here I am. Here you are. Feel free to click away if you’re get bored đŸ€“
There are parallels between Gojo & Geto and Yuji & Megumi; however, they’re inherently different people. I came across some tweets rethinking the last words in jjk 0, saying things like: this is how stsg should’ve done it, etc.
Yeah, I do get it... just... I just think they’re different people within a different set of circumstances. Could it have been different? Sure. But if they could have a chance to re-do something - at what point would one pick? How would that even guarantee the best outcome? No Toji? Haibara doesn’t die? Gojo admits he is lonely? Or Geto admitting he is lonely?
Mind you, they learnt about love through their separation... How would those lessons have been learnt? There would be no guarantees of Teacher AU being a reality. It would be nice, but that would be straying from the story that has been masterfully - albeit painfully littered with ANGST - written by Gege Akutami.
It is enough for me that Gojo and Geto reconciled at the end of their lives. Salvation. Being together for what could be eternity (for as long as they chose to stay) in 236 is, for me, already a beautiful bittersweet love story. Especially after all they’d been through. Anyway. My point is... context matters. I don’t really enjoy discourse over who did it better. They had what they had. They made the most of what they had. And the tragedy is what is relatable and is beautiful too. So once again, they’re unique characters within a setting that is different.
Their bonds are therefore, by extension, also very different, although there are similarities. I don’t want to engage in debates over which is superior - that’s not my point, intention or interest. They’re different and appreciable within their own uniqueness.
Friendship is friendship, and love is love, after all. But even within the expression of affection and love, our individual needs and/or methods of expressing such emotions will differ.
I think to consider themes and what insights we can gain from these two
We have to look at their situations in its entirety. Gojo, Nanami, and others from that generation learned about the necessity to protect the youth.
So I think: compared to what Yuji and Megumi had, it seems as if what Gojo and Geto had (in terms of emotional safety and intimacy) were with each other - and it was somewhat lacking due to their own individual limitations. They had no other significant persons to speak of - at least, for certain, for Gojo. Since we don’t know Geto’s history aside from how he had human parents and he was scouted <- But more on this later.
What Yuji and Megumi had was by no means adequate, I don’t think, but at least from what we can infer from Gojo and Geto, it was more than what they had. Not only because the adults within the sorcery world like Yaga, Nanami, Gojo, Shoko (perhaps?), and Ino were more involved than whoever else were teachers during Gojo & Geto’s time - but Yuji had gramps and Megumi had Tsumiki who offered the a glimpse of what familial love is.
They had some form of a secure bond in another person to offer a sense of security and inherent worth. Megumi lesser than Yuji, but this is also why we see him as an avoidant-ambivalent kind of person who is also much like his father who grew up emotionally deprived and rejected. His sense of worth came from being independent and aloof despite being emotionally and psychologically deep (and parched for compassionate & authentic human connection).
The school itself seemed to have more teachers and fellow students. Possibly fewer curses due to Geto’s active efforts for 10 years to amass 6k for the Night Parade. Furthermore, more sorcerers may mean fewer student casualties (fewer deaths like Haibara’s) and improved manpower to counter curses. And when it came to Yuji’s time, not only was he personally rather resilient, he had companionship with Nobara, Megumi, Todo, Choso... that bordered on familial love and likely assisted with maintaining his sanity when faced with the gruesome cruelties he witnessed & endured.
And circling back to Geto: We don’t know what Geto had growing up, but for him to be that emotionally attached to Gojo, and that way inclined to immediately rise to fury (at the abuse of the girls + having been asked to kill them) and seek to avenge, protect and become a parent in his teens - can can assume he was somewhat parentified himself. Meaning, he likely learned the need to play this role during his formative years - likely him childhood.
He felt highly responsible for everyone and his personality was as such where he took things very seriously & earnestly. The parallel was drawn between him and Yuta - the original “parallel pairing” from jjk 0. The world he was shown was far too cruel; especially for someone who felt the weight of the world on his shoulders and didn’t know how to share it with someone who he probably saw Gojo as shouldering it in his own way. The perfectionist that was Geto who tried to live sincerely and be a role model ended up falling through a gap, leaving him with no choice but to force himself to keep living towards some kind of a redemptive goal, within a punishing life consuming vile curse after curse (his only source of stress), to either succeed a crazy dream, or die trying to Gojo’s hand. But he remained true to himself - Geto lived for others. He was only ever shown to be selfish with one thing: Gojo. (Don’t follow me: It won’t be bad to die by your hand. I’m envious.)
They had no capacity - knowledge, experience, or language to reconcile their differences. It wasn’t as if anyone showed them how to share the burden. Right? Throughout HI - did anyone offer comfort to Geto? That man was so very much like a “mum” who mops up shit and vomit without complaining. The emotional and mental burden. I wrote about this before - Gojo is masculine-coded (Yang energy). Geto is Yin. This is another parallel with Megumi and Yuji. Shadows - Yin. Yuji is kind of dazzling isn’t he? Light, heat, strength. Yang.
And Gojo? The “sheltered but forced to grow up too quickly” boy probably never knew what being nurturing love or unconditional love meant until Geto came along. Probably never thought he needed it. When touched by someone’s love and compassion like this - isn’t it natural to just react to it? To lean into it like a monkey separated from its mother, with only a warm furry surrogate to cling onto? Never thought he needed it until it was no longer there. Why? It would be enough to inflict some kind of an identity crisis for someone like Gojo Satoru. How could someone NOT want him for his strength?! For the first time Gojo Satoru probably felt a vulnerability he could not bring himself to eliminate.
With a background like theirs: It’s no wonder what they developed was a form of codependency. They complemented one another in so many ways - it was effortless and natural. Both strong, both intrigued by each other, could keep up with conversations, engage in mischievous cheekiness, etc.
They almost/probably(?) completed one another - but of course, what fulfils a person cannot just be one other person alone. Especially as a monster like Gojo Satoru with a thirst for fulfilment of his powers and someone like Geto Suguru who needed to have a deep meaning and purpose in life.
Think about a sportsperson and a philanthropist, respectively. Neither should be expected to concede to the other and be forced to be satisfied with the other alone. It doesn’t and shouldn’t work that way.
The respect and love they had for each other was profound. It was beyond themselves. So they did their best to support each other without an open conversation in the 10 years - just like a quiet love. Apart from each other. Despite the time and distance, their selfishness and possessiveness for each other was also telling of their twisted love - it’s crazy exclusivity. Geto calling Yuta a womaniser simply for healing/having a friend in Maki and then processing his love for Rika? That still makes me chuckle. As much as Gojo liking dogs (source GIGA character book) because Geto was once mistaken for Takeru the dog. 😂 unbelievable. Other examples: I’ll die to your hand. If you were there I’d be satisfied. Hm. Yeah. Crazy exclusivity. Almost at the expense of themselves...
Anyway. In terms of bonds: The codependency between Gojo & Geto is both a positive & negative. Maybe a byproduct of their generation & lack of emotional support within that time. The title as the strongest was a burden to Gojo & Geto (together and individually) that was different to that of what Yuji and Megumi carry respectively. So the context, era, setting, etc. would’ve shaped them differently too.
It’s also worth remembering that Megumi’s level of self importance, like Yuji, is not like that of Gojo or Geto who carried the weight of huge responsibility from a young age. Their bond was also therefore a little bit more twisted comparative to what Yuji and Megumi have.
And despite the short time together, we do see a the beginnings of preciousness between them with Yuji being determined to at least reach Megumi with a conversation in his fight with Sukuna - despite the insane power difference.
It’s absolutely mind-blowing when I think about this teenager going head to head with this old fart who is on the level of a calamity and has taken countless lives. And earlier on, soulful yet apprehensive Megumi not wanting someone compassionate like Yuji to die. Even making a request with Gojo to do something about it. Like a sense of inner knowing that the other was someone special and worth protecting. Yin is also associated with intuition.
They also underwent transformation where “if you die I’ll kill you” is now replaced by a different dialogue spurred on by Megumi’s honest narrative of the simple pleasures of living
and the devastation of his very down to earth/humble dreams being dashed and Yuji’s heartfelt response that showed acceptance and love beyond himself for Megumi’s plight. It was really moving. The power of such a love and the capacity of Yuji to grow as he did. Perhaps it was also because he was given the ingredients (love, faith, friendship, belief, resolve, etc.) to nourish him whenever he faced adversity. I mean, resilience is about growing from “trauma” and overcoming the tendency to hide which can result in becoming brittle (therefore weak).
Anyway. They’re like Gojo & Geto on a speedrun. But that is not the only difference
The forcible nature of having their bodies & wills violated - taken over as vessels for Sukuna- used to commit crimes against their desires - is something they share. A point of reference that can lend itself to relating to one another. It stimulates protectiveness. Compassion & connection.
Surely a common enemy changes things? Gojo & Geto could not see eye to eye when it came to it. Timing wasn’t on their side. Almost as it lateness was a theme. It was difficult to be vulnerable to one another. It almost mimics real life generational differences. They existed in a different world. When a common enemy is present, it is normal to rally together. Once again, their roles were different. Stronger than their sensei. Their expectations will be different as a result. Tengen requested their assistance.
Were the younger generation shielded from such burdens? I’d say so. Those on the frontlines within the school probably also changed (a little) after Geto defected, especially with Gojo using his influence to save and protect his students. We saw how Yaga reflected on his regrets as a teacher, relating to Gojo who opted to be a teacher too.
I think it was horrendous how nobody really noticed or anticipated that Geto would struggle the way he did. It was left to a peer (Gojo) we had no personal resources to support Geto in his own youth. It didn’t make sense. There was a lot lacking, as we know. It was a different time with someone to shield the young sorcerers to some degree. There was already a “strongest” (Gojo) when they were born.
Further, Gojo did his best to offer the kids something different - with Megumi having a different option to the Zenin & Nanami’s involvement with Yuji.
Their loneliness have subtle differences, so Gojo wasn’t lonely (in 236) with the companionship of others after being taught how to connect with people by Geto, but he still needed Geto to feel fully satisfied.
I think that’s why Geto said he was envious, because he assumed after hearing those words that Gojo was fully satisfied - eventhough his last words to Geto must have implied that Geto was important to him. Geto had a void that only Gojo could fill but he was, as ever, conceding enough in his love for Gojo to say “as long as you’re satisfied I’m relieved for you.”
Gojo corrected him by telling him he still needed him to feel fully satisfied. Implying it was something only Geto could fulfil. Gojo’s heart grew to accommodate his students and everyone but the shape in his heart of Geto was for Geto to fill.
Similarly for Geto, when he defected, he also wore the Gojo kesa like a lingering connection (longing/codependency). He did not feel he could smile as sincerely as he once could after he committed the crime and had to leave his best friend’s side to pursue the only option left.
Their love was somewhat twisted in nature, as it blessed/saved & cursed them equally. They needed other things to fulfil them but their bond was irreplaceable.
I’ll say it again: a partner’s place isn’t replaceable by students, children, friends, etc. Especially if it was someone you truly love. You can grow around the grief but the shape left behind by that person is still the same shape of that person.
Another way I conceptualise it is how they feel that the other completes them. On their own they feel incomplete. Lacking. Therefore to Gojo, Geto was a part of him. So he would feel incomplete (as a person) without Geto - within this kind of codependent bond.
It was noticed by others like Shoko who pictured them as a pair who seemed like nothing could come between them. A pair who she could never fall in love with individually, or offer to one what the other offered... (love, of course) but she was there. Shoko was never one to shoulder the burden of strength and the involvement it entails, but shouldered the entirety of having to witness passively (helplessly) from the sidelines. This was symbolic of their roles. Fighter versus medic. Gojo & Geto in a world of their own. They were the strongest. Somehow this role mattered to them. What a burden of responsibility that could erode their human nature. Don’t you think?
Back to parallels: With Yuji & Megumi, their relationship is younger. Despite the year between them the apprehensive Megumi already trusted Yuji so much that he considered him a brother on the same level as his sister. He’s a good judge of character. I always enjoyed how perceptive Megumi was.
With the loss of Tsumiki, I’m sure the bond will change / deepen as he realises his value as a person (not just observer standing behind Yuji & Tsumiki) with a new reason to live/fight. Adopting the same purpose as Yuji, perhaps, for each other. We do not know how much they rely on the other for fulfilment, but I’m encouraged that their bond will be unique and rich after these life experiences. How could it not be? How could Megumi not respond to such a kind & heartfelt expression of sincerity? Because Yuji isnt asking anything of Megumi : he was very simply saying: I’ll accept you, Megumi. What a demonstration of unconditional love and compassion. Incredible. It reminded me of how Gojo found the words to say to Geto to save his soul at the end of jjk 0. But once again, lateness seems to be a theme for the older generation.
As it stands, Megumi wished to see Tsumiki with Yuji and he observed from behind. Once again his level of self importance wasn’t high. Neither was Yuji who felt he was a cog in the wheel, a sacrificial vessel, etc. until recently. Gojo and Geto grew with the notion that had set roles to fulfil as the strongest. This was true of the time. And when we think of who they had around them
each other. Gojo and Geto were very codependent so they’d imagine themselves walking together. But in the end I can see how Geto felt like he was watching Gojo from behind. And Gojo felt he watched Geto leave - twice over; the final time to his own hand. Thank goodness for 236.
So I think the relationships have parallels but they are different
I don’t think this can translate into the last words in 0. Gojo admitting he will miss Geto or that he would be lonely - would sound too much like a curse. Thematically the only thing that fits is “I love you”. But the unsaid implications for the feelings (will we meet again, loneliness, my best friend, I love you, etc.) were all hinted at.
The similarities between them as individuals are many, for example : Geto and Yuji consume curses, and I think the intimate knowledge of this helped them have empathy. Geto and Megumi manipulate shadows/curses/creatures. Gojo and Yuji are strong in constitution and cope with adversity with resilience. Further, Gojo and Yuji suffered loss of someone important and witnessed their suffering, allowing them to let go out of compassionate mercy, despite the loneliness it created for themselves. Gojo and Megumi were blessed with historically revered Cursed Techniques. Being vessels also became a parallel: Yuji and Megumi to Sukuna & Geto to Kenjaku and Gojo to Kenjaku’s technique via Yuta. In this sense, Yuji and Gojo both became vessels upon their own volition.
For someone like Gojo he may not have struggled with the loss of comrades in the past and in the future. Geto did and this was also what broke him without the support to maintain his emotional wellbeing. Yuji saw far too much tragedy within a short space of time and the difference is not only in his personality but the availability of people around him who regarded him as family - Todo, Choso, etc. Megumi is like Geto in that sense where they were selective in who they wished to save, knowing their limitations maybe, or the wickedness within their flawed humanity. But the loss of the important ones also broke them. So I think in that way they respected and admired those who could remain objective like Yuji and Gojo.
Loneliness was a given. Gojo could not ask Geto to live, & at the end of 0 Geto must have thought that someone (strong & objective) like Gojo who raised such students & could cope with the deaths of others better than he, should be allowed to keep living on a righteous path after all - so he could die with a peaceful heart knowing he was loved by Gojo even after “leaving him behind” and urged to live righteously on a different path. He also didn’t kill any sorcerers which was the group he chose to protect.
They were both lonely in life, needed each other to feel complete (codependency), so in 236 they reunited as a form of salvation. As many others have said... 236 was also like a comfort for satosugu fans because without it, 261 would’ve been even more painful.
With just 5 chapters until the end... I’m not really ready for the series to end, but I’m so grateful Gege sees that he can can finish it as he envisions. Hopefully we get a satisfying conclusion to Yuji & Megumi (and end up getting some bonus side stories or backstories).
Ah I’ve rambled far too much. All this is just my opinion / observations of course. Parallels are parallels but they don’t necessarily overlap. I’m looking forward to seeing how the relationships of the new generation will unfold.

and not forgetting about the fate of Yuta & Rika 😣 since they go back into 0 & have similar parallels with the pairs.
Hopefully curses can save people’s souls too...

Vampire Gojo/Getou/Nanami AU!
I got a commission to write a saucy AU featuring Vampire!stsg & Vampire Hunter!Nanami. This was a ton of fun to write and a much needed breather between the bigger fics I'm actively writing right now. Thank you for the commission, anon! ♄
Word Count: 2,300
TW: blood
Link to read this fic on Ao3
(BTW my commissions are still open. See the details here!)
+++
Nanami couldn’t say he ever envisioned himself hunting vampires for a living, especially after trying to give it up, but he kept trying to tell himself it was somehow superior to wasting his life at an office job.
Yes, sleeping at odd hours of the day and working from sunset to sunrise most nights, embodying a cruel parody of his prey’s nocturnal lifestyle, was better than toiling away at a perpetual stream of emails and phone calls. Yes, nearly having his throat ripped out on a near-daily basis was preferable to having an overbearing boss that loved to ask Nanami to work overtime while he himself left early every Friday. No, he did not regret his change in careers, even if the pay was laughably low considering he could die on the job at any time.
Until now.
The higher-ups sent him to clean out a vampire nest that had established itself in an abandoned warehouse outside of Tokyo. It was the perfect location, isolated but still bearing easy access to human populations. The vampires he found were rather weak, bearing deadly fangs and preternatural strength but no additional abilities. They were more like mindless animals than the people they once were, but he’d learned not to pity the things he was sent to exterminate. Nanami made quick work of the nest once he arrived, killing the few dozen vampires in just one night. It would’ve gone by quicker, but the old warehouse was full of discarded industrial machinery, making up a labyrinth of steel.
By the end of the job, he’d run through nearly his entire supply of wooden stakes, blunting all but one in his messy, bloody endeavors. The scent of rot and gore hung in the air, though to be fair, it did already smell like that when he arrived. Nanami twirled his last stake in his hand as he did a final sweep of the warehouse. The holes in the ceiling let in the very faintest trace of gray light, hinting that dawn was soon to come. But until then, it was still too dark to see. Nanami had to navigate by his narrow flashlight beam and his own eyes, long accustomed to scanning for movement in the shadows.
He was on the far side of the warehouse, as far from the only known exit as he could be, when he shivered. His only warning was the way the hair on the back of his neck rose as if lightning was about to strike.
Then it was as if something did hit him, his flashlight shattering in his hand and plunging him into darkness. Nanami raised his stake without hesitation, keeping his other arm up to guard his throat.
“Who’s there?” he called, hoping to lure the straggler to him. How annoying, that the surviving vampire had some kind of additional power. Nanami waited, but nothing burst from the shadows. However, he could tell he was being watched. He shouted, “Come out! I know you’re there!”
He expected a shriek or a low hiss. Not a coherent human voice.
“Hey, Nanami.”
His stomach coiled into a tight knot. That playful tone
he’d heard it only once before, back when he was a young student and a novice hunter. But he could never forget it; that voice belonged to one of the two beings in their profession that spelled certain death.
A light turned on in front of him, almost making him step back. No, it wasn’t a light. It was the glowing blue eyes of the strongest vampire lord in the entire world, Gojou Satoru.
He appeared in front of Nanami out of thin air, just out of reach and hovering a few inches over the ground as if to add to his already staggering height. Gojou was canted forward, hands behind his back in a strangely childish pose.
The only reason he’d ever let a hunter live was to play with and kill them another day. Nanami thought about the tedious office job and long life he willingly gave up just to wind up here, about to be bled dry like an animal for slaughter.
Those blinding, sapphire eyes looked past Nanami’s stake and bore right into him, as easily as a fang would sever an artery.
He refused to give up his steady composure even in the face of the greatest vampire.
Gojou smiled, flashing his sharpened canines. “Aw, do you really think you’re going to hurt us?”
Nanami’s blood ran cold. “Us?”
To his credit, he didn’t flinch or cry out in alarm as two arms wrapped around his waist and a broad chest pressed against his back. A purring voice in his ear asked, “Oh, mister vampire hunter, please show us mercy.”
Getou Suguru, the second strongest vampire. And Gojou’s beloved.
It was a trap, Nanami realized too late. The vampires he slayed before were just underlings, meant to die and deplete his supplies until he was all but defenseless. But why plan anything at all?
Alone or together, Gojou and Getou would be strong enough to kill him without lifting a finger. Getou was said to have an army of demons at his disposal, in addition to whatever poor humans he turned into thralls. And Gojou
he could kill with the barest effort.
“You should know
” Nanami said, keeping his voice even as much as possible, “...my guild’s higher-ups refuse to divulge their most valuable knowledge to those below them; I don’t know anything about their future plans. And another hunter will eventually rise up to take my place. You will gain no advantage in my death tonight.”
“Death?” Gojou asked, tilting his head to the side. He suddenly appeared right in front of Nanami, taking hold of his stake and crushing it to splinters, “Who ever said anything about death?”
Then they wanted to turn him. What a useless idea, they should know that most vampire hunters regularly consumed a potion that would conflict with the influence of vampirism and cause one’s demise rather than transformation. It was a rather unpleasant drink, one of its main ingredients being a copious quantity of onions, but Nanami believed death was preferable to eternal servitude.
The voice behind him asked, “You think we’d bother to establish a nest here, and watch you slaughter our kin, only to kill you now?”
So they were watching.
Nanami finally did flinch as he felt lips ghosting over the side of his neck. He tried to free himself, but the arms around his waist held fast. And one of his hands was now trapped in Gojou’s clutches.
“Silly Na-na-mi,” Gojou said, drawing out his name. The corners of his eyes creased as his smile widened, “What do you think we want to do to you, hm?”
“With you, would be more accurate.” Getou said.
Too close, Nanami thought. They were both far too close. Not just because they were his greatest enemies -arguably humanity’s greatest enemies- but because their hands on his body felt hauntingly intimate.
He’d had an occasional fling, most of them when he was younger, but Nanami hadn’t been intimate with another person in years. He never wanted to endanger potential partners, but also never felt the urge or any kind of spark. Nothing like the burning handprints he felt on his waist and now his chest. Gojou pressed his palm flat against Nanami’s chest and hummed in curiosity
“I can feel how fast your heart is beating, are you that excited to see us?”
Getou added, “We’ve seen how hard you work. We see the way you care for your juniors. But when was the last time anyone has ever taken care of you, Nanami?”
A creeping fog was starting to enter his mind, making it hard to think. It was vampiric compulsion, that much he knew. But he surprised even himself when he said, “I dislike off-topic questions.”
For a stifling moment, no one spoke.
Then Gojou threw his head back and laughed. Nanami felt the chest pressed against his back tremble with the effort to not join in.
“Satoru,” Getou said, almost admonishing but with a grinning lilt to his voice.
“Nanami!” Gojou said, his voice teetering toward a childish whine, “Does everything have to be work-related with you? What do you like to do for fun, huh?”
“I drink,” he said. Startled, he clapped his free hand over his mouth.
Gojou Satoru’s compulsion was that strong, even with all his training?
Nanami supposed he shouldn’t have been surprised.
Getou’s soft, mellow, sugary voice filled his head, “Is that so? We love to drink, too. Maybe you’d like to join us? You must be thirsty after such hard work.”
Against Nanami’s will, his shoulders started to relax as his hand fell away from his mouth. This was part of what made the two lords so dangerous; their hypnotic sway was beyond that of any other vampire. Gojou had his eyes that pulled the truth out of his victims and Getou’s gentle voice could sway anyone to do his bidding.
Being in both their presence for this long
Nanami had no idea what he might say or do. If he still had his stake, he would’ve contemplated using it on himself to escape whatever dreadful fate awaited him.
Gojou laughed softly, lowering himself until his feet touched the ground. Even then, he was still so tall that Nanami had to crane his head back to keep track of those long, sharp fangs. His head fell back against a shoulder, as if Getou was just waiting for it.
Gojou smirked and said, “Don’t be so worried, Nanami. Here, why don’t we just show you what we're planning.”
Nanami braced himself, fully prepared to lose his jugular and return from whence he came. But Gojou reached over his shoulder, pulling Getou closer. Though Getou kept one hand on Nanami’s waist and Gojou did the same, it might’ve been possible for him to break free and run. However far he got, he could at least die knowing he tried.
But how could he leave? How could he ever look away when Gojou cradled Getou’s pale face with more tenderness than had ever graced Nanami in his life?
He watched, starstruck, as the two vampire lords shared a kiss. Getou tilted his head back, those violet eyes fluttering shut. That intense blue light dimmed as even Gojou’s own eyes fluttered and closed into half-moons. Vampires did not need to breathe, but one of them let out the softest moan.
Nanami saw a flash of white and watched as Gojou’s fang sliced Getou’s lower lip open. A thick trail of blackened blood snaked its way down his chin. Vampires, being undead things, needed the blood and lifeforce of others to sustain themselves. Nanami always thought of it as a sad existence. But here and now, he couldn’t deny how enticing it all looked.
Another flash of white. Getou bit Gojou’s lip hard enough to draw blood.
It was the sway of their compulsion that compelled him to stay and watch, surely. And not the sound of Getou moaning as Gojou lapped up his blood and made a mess between their lips.
Nanami shuddered. He felt his whole body start to heat up despite the chill in the air. He suddenly wished he was free of his jacket and tie.
The two vampires parted. The sight of a thin trail of viscous blood connecting their lips made Nanami swallow. His throat was suddenly very dry. He was so parched, so thirsty.
A hand took his chin and forced him to look Getou Suguru in the eye. Those half-lidded violet irises and plump, parted lips took whatever embers of resistance he still held and blew them away.
“Come here, hunter.”
Nanami felt his whole body flood with an aching, hungry heat, his head going fuzzy as the vampire lord kissed him. He felt the glide of those fangs but no bite. He parted his lips as a faint gasp escaped him, Getou taking that as an invitation to slip his tongue past Nanami’s teeth and force him to taste vampire blood for the first time in his life.
It was cloying and heavy on his tongue. And so very sweet.
It felt like pure bliss. Nanami swayed where he stood, supported by both of the arms cradling him close. Seemingly from far away, he heard Gojou chuckle and say, “My turn.”
And he was met with another set of lips, and another taste of vampire blood. Despite how much it felt like he was burning up, Nanami also felt as though he were sinking into some dark lake. His thoughts and concerns drained out of him as he was unable to imagine the sight of the sky nor the bottom of the depths. He simply was, floating yet still somehow standing. Blissed out yet still hoping for more.
He reached out to steady himself and unknowingly leaned against Gojou’s side.
Getou spoke, voice low and sweet, “Poor thing, must be awfully tired to fall so fast. Why don’t you take the rest of the night off and come home with us, Nanami?”
“Yes, come home with us. We’ll let you stay for as long as you like. Doesn’t that sound nice?”
Nanami opened his eyes. When did they close? Did it even concern him anymore that he’d let his guard down so easily?
No, not really. At that moment, he couldn’t imagine a life without this taste on his tongue, this heat curling low in his belly. He never wanted this moment to end.
Only one word escaped his lips.
“Please.”
