⛧| N/A (Sorry, stand by :( ) ─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
ᯓ★Background: (more to improve soon..)
── .✦⛧| Emmanuel was born on February 29, 2001 on the Camp Pendleton base in California to Henry Ashford and Helena Ashford (neé Rorke). Making him the younger brother of Beth and Eva.
── .✦⛧| Growing up, he was a calm and quiet kid, but also curious, trying to learn everything. He is unquestionably a mama's boy because he was glued to his mother's hip from the beginning. Until..In 2011, When Helena was killed in action while deployed Emmanuel was 10 years old, both Beth and Eva were 12 years old, Henry was left to care for his children with the assistance of their uncle, Gabriel Rorke.  ── .✦⛧| Despite not having a mother, Emmanuel would continuously attempt to speak or interact with Henry, but he was unable to do so due to emotional neglect. He also observed a clash between Beth and Eva, his sisters. The small boy feels hurt and upset by Beth's fury directed at Eva while she defends herself, but despite all of this drama, he at least has a grey stuffed animal to console him for big emotions.
── .✦⛧| The ODIN strikes happened in 2017, and the Ashford residence was among the many buildings damaged that day. The little family of four lost everything, including their pets and precious things. Shortly after the ODIN strikes, aged 16 he would eventually enlist into the military, much to the reluctance and chagrin of Henry. (mf literally was unlucky enough both to survive the ODIN attack and not being able to leave the destroyed territory)
ᯓ★Trivia:
── .✦⛧| This young boy used to play practical jokes on his sisters to try to cheer them up and make them get along, but it didn't work out for Beth, so he ended up growing closer to Eva than she did.
── .✦⛧| Helena’s death left him devastated. He keeps a little photo of his mother beneath the helmet where it is worn.
── .✦⛧| Emmanuel adores Riley, who spoils the dog with food, cuddle pets, and long walks when Hesh or Logan are not around. Though, he also has sentimental memories of his own pets, whom he actually lost by ODIN attacks
ᯓ★Faceclaim:
⛧| Zac Efron

Dog for adoption in South/Central Texas. Can transport to AUSTIN TX or San Antonio.
2months ago, a sweet, timid dog showed up at my house. She was thin, but clean, recently had some puppies. Our local shelter has a euthanasia rate of 75%, so instead of taking her to the shelter, I decided to foster her while searching for her owners. A well-behaved houstrained dog like this was so easy to foster. After two months searching, no owners have been located. I named her Sombra (which is Spanish for "shadow") bc she's is always right behind me like a shadow. She has this fantastic personality that is discreet & low-key but also happy-go-lucky. She's up for anything.
A 50lb bully mutt is not easy to re-home here in the Rio Grande Valley, so I'm very open to meeting an adopter in the Austin area. Please share to help find Sombra a companion home where she can flourish.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
More About Sombra:
Walks fabulously on the leash with a flat collar, she doesn't pull towards people or other dogs. Sombra will pull towards ducks and is learning to ignore them.
She doesn't bark at people or animals, Sombra is a very quiet dog. I've only heard her boof once to wake me up when someone walked through the backyard in the middle of the night. Sombra is not destructive in the home and has never had any accidents, she only goes potty outdoors.
She adapts to the activity level you want. Sombra happily lounges at home alone during my busy days. Sombra is equally happy hiking for miles. I have trained her to rollerblade with me, she runs next to me easily and has no problem passing other people and dogs on crowded trails. With conditioning, she would be great for distance jogging or rollerjoring.
Sombra is gentle and playful with dogs and cats. She's neutral upon introduction, once she familiarizes she is easygoing and happy to play or chill, she respects thier body language. Sombra is most at-ease & confident when there's another dog around who can set an example.
We are working on obedience and recall, so outdoors she does need to be on a leash unless in fenced area. If there's critters around, she chases but doesn't hyperfocus/hunt critters. Because she is so great with my housecats, I think she could be habituated to other small housepets.
Did I mention she’s fantastic with cats and dogs? It’s especially fun to watch her play with kitties, very cute.
Sombra is neutral with new people, she gives them space and happily observes them from a distance. If you let her observe you giving attention to another dog, she quickly understands you're a friend, and if you give her some treats, instantly she's your best friend. Sombra is very food motivated.
Sombra has been introduced to kids and babies with no issues, but she hasn't spent extended time with them.

quien es sombra? || basic file.
she was born to a loving family in monterrey, mexico. she grew up there, along with her mother and her father; both spoke only spanish, as did she; she only knew very broken english at the time, since she never really spoke it at home and had no real plans of ever moving away.
her parents were killed one night, both of them, when a rival gang led an attack in their family home; they were really looking to only kill her father, but things took a turn for the worst. she was spared, and tried her best to avoid the government for a few weeks following their deaths. these attempts were futile, though, and she was eventually dropped into the foster system --- a while later, she was picked up and moved from monterrey, all the way up to a family living in new mexico.
she was still relatively young during the move, but old enough to still remember it to this day. she moved in the summertime, and began school again that fall; she took ESL classes and very quickly became fluent enough in the language. she still has a heavy accent, and she still speaks spanglish more often than not.
soon after she hit her teens, she fell in with some local gangs in her area; she blackmails, she tracks, she gets the job done. this jumpstarted her career as a hacker and criminal, which led her into working with overwatch and related organizations for a long time.
it was during those early years that she adopted her nickname: sombra. nobody knows her real name, and she would very much like to keep it that way; there are people out there who do know her real name, and those people would love to see her dead. she has had to wipe her identity once before, but with her current precautions and behavior, sombra just might stick around for a long time.
these days, with overwatch now defunct, she mostly does what she used to do; she hacks, she blackmails, she gets shit done. her goal is to bring down corrupt organizations and expose those with power as manipulative liars; so far, so good.
she is currently engaged to hana song; they have a dog, and they’re looking to move into a little house. sombra has never been one for settling in and planting roots, but as long as she’s got herself and her wife covered, she might just be content in it. just maybe.

E, aí entra a figura Keys (Paul Winfield, eterno coadjuvante em filmes policiais e ótimo no papel) e Carruthers (o veterano Burl Ives).

Sombra loves to lay at the foot of the sofa to be as close to Arlowe without bothering him. When Arlowe wants to get up off the sofa, he doesn't want to jump over or next to Sombra so he just cries until I tell her to move.

Dog for adoption in Texas! We found this stray dog in July and never found her owners. I named her Sombra and decided to foster her until she could be adopted. She is around 2 years old, she weighs 50lbs. The vet gave her vaccines and microchip. Currently in treatment for heartworms.
Skills/training: Sombra is housetrained, she is not destructive when left alone in the house. Sombra knows 3 tricks: sit, shake, lie down. She walks well on a leash with a gentle leader head halter. Sombra is very friendly with cats indoors, but wants to chase them outdoors. She loves dogs and gets along with large and small dogs, she is respectful of dogs who are unfriendly or timid.
Personality: Sombra is very sweet and follows her humans around the house but doesn’t need constant petting or attention, she’s an easy dog. Medium energy level, will do activities but also happy chilling at home. She has never bitten anybody and is not aggressive at all, but she is shy with strangers and will try to hide if they reach out to touch her, but quickly warms up once she feels safe.
Please message if interested in adopting her.
