Solutions Engineers are a hybrid of the Solutions Architect, Product Influencer, and Developer Advocate roles. Our team consists of a group of software engineers for Solution Engineering Services. They work on challenging proofs of concept, consult with customers on various integrations to meet their current requirements and work with multiple technical audiences, including open-source contributors to customer engineering teams.
The organization's teams are close to our customers. They have the technical skills to create new libraries and integrations to support them so we can respond quickly to product design recommendations and improvements. Once we feel we've built something more broadly applicable (like DLO), we have the luxury of working with the product management team to turn it into a feature we'll make into the core product.
The IoT Technology stack is a set of technologies, standards, and technologies that go from simply connecting objects to the applications that use these connected things, the data they collect and communicate, and the various procedures required to power them.

Product Influencer
The Solution Engineering team is uniquely positioned to hear directly from our customers and turn that feedback into product ideas to share with our product teams. We listen carefully to our customers and identify areas where we can add value through new product features and turnkey integrations.
New projects can begin with solution engineers creating relevant design documents and sharing them with the product team and other stakeholders. This kind of organic growth serves the greater purpose of improving the customer experience while adding value through new product features.
Developer Advocate
As developers, we know the ups and downs of developing software. It brings this experience to its interactions with the developer community, helping them seamlessly integrate with the API and sharing its best practices for using engineering support use cases.
