It was a beautiful balmy day in southeast Florida. Today, this was my office and my daughter’s school room. We sat outside under a canopy of coconut palms, sun shining, wild parrots flying overhead, and we worked and learned. The blessing is not lost on us. I am humbled and grateful everyday that this is where the difficult, looping path of the last few years has brought us. We are happy and at peace, my daughter is thriving, my cup overfloweth. I would never have imagined that being a work from home, homeschooling, sole parent could look and feel like a calm sunny day.
