So I reread the percy jackson books before I watched the show and the last time I read them was when I was like eleven so I really didn't understand the romance of Percabeth. Side note but still related, I shipped Rachel and Percy more for some reason. Maybe cuz me and Rachel both had red hair or something? Probably cuz I thought the Rachel x Percy romance was more obvious than Percabeth but yeah. Due to this I really hate the Rachel haters. Like she was just a girl with a crush? Who DIDN'T have a crush on Percy, let's be real. Anyway back to my main point, rereading I saw all the little Percabeth moments and oh my lord they are so freaking cute! I'm a sucker for romance and Percabeth is the standard. I'm super excited to buy and read the heros of olympus series because of more Percabeth, Leo Valdez, Will Solace, solango, dark Percy, ect. Anyway rant over, have a good day yall

I just got into Percy Jackson. I was pulled into the fandom by a solango short on YouTube and I love fanfictions so yeah I read a lot of Solangelo fics lately.

And correct me if I missed something but they are one of the healtiest cupples I have even seen in fiction. They are so cute together.

I really love fluff so those two are just perfect and I want to hug them both.

Also considering how insane the books are I will fight Rick if something happens to either of them. Seriously they have enough trauma for more then one lifetime.

"Are these pictures of y’all in high school?" Will asked, pointing at one of the group photos. It was of everyone hanging around by Piper's pool. Piper and Jason lying in a shared lounge chair, Annabeth sitting at the edge of the pool with her legs dangling in the water, Percy is in the pool with his arms crossed in Annabeth's lap and talking up at her, Nico taking up a chair in a well-shaded corner while Bianca sat on the ground in front of him as Nico re-braided her hair, and the upper half of Leo’s face at the bottom of the photo as he took the selfie. “Yeah, that was the summer before my freshman year. Before things got… not great for a while.” Nico stared at the picture. He looked so young and innocent. He wished he could protect that kid from what would come next. -- Nico and Will settle in to start their group project. Of course, work doesn't start right away as they are distracted by more serious topics. Will gets a deeper glimpse into Nico's world as Nico let's down his walls.

You were in gym and was playing dodge ball. You had gotten out and

was sitting on the bench. Someone had just caught the ball. You were getting up to go back in when the bell rang to go home.You went to where the car riders were and started looking for your dad. You spotted him and went to get in his car.You open the passenger seat door and hopped in the car. “How was your day (y/n),” he asked. “It was good, what about you?” you replied. “It was a day,” he sighed. He pulled out of the school’s parking lot. He drives past the mansion where y’all lived. “Where are we going?” You looked at him with one brow raise. “To the store to get some stuff for dinner,” he replied. He pulled up to the front of the store and gave you some money and told you what to get. You opened the door and walked into the store and grabbed a basket(not the cart). You grabbed almost everything except for brownie mix. You went to the dessert mix row you grab the brownie mix.There was boy maybe about 17 or 18 looking at the food coloring and it looked like he couldn’t find the color he was looking for. You put the brownie mix in the basket and went over to him. “Hey, do you need some help,”you asked the dirty blonde boy. He turned to look at you and nodded. “What color?” You said. “ Blue” he replied looking at the shelf again. “Well the only blue I see is in the color packet”you said to the boy.

“Yeah, but I don’t have enough money with me to buy that”he said frowning. “I have some extra cash I will buy it for you,”You said with a smile. You grabbed the food dye and started to go to the front of the store to check out. That’s when you saw a big person with one eye. The boy must of saw them too. The boy turned and went another way but there was another one. You were so confused of what those ugly one eye beings are.” What are those,” you asked. The boy turned to look at you with wide eyes. “You can see them” he replied.” Yeah,cant everyone see those ugly things” you questioned as y’all turned another way there was another one. It was like they were trying to get y’all.” Do you have anyone here with you,” he said. You put the basket down and took his wrist an ran to your dads car. You got in the front and the boy got in the back. “Who is this and where are my groceries?”your dad asked a little angry.” This is uh-“ you were about to say then you realized you never asked for his name. “Percy,Percy Jackson” he added to my sentence. “Well hello Percy.” Your dad said. You turned to the window seeing a lot of one eye things. You told your dad to step on it with no questions asked. You turned around to Percy and saw that he was staring at you dad. ‘Wow he so beautiful for a man’ Percy thought. “ Hey!” You screamed at Percy making him stop staring at your dad. You knew your dad was a model and was very pretty but for someone to stare at him for that long made you a bit angry. “What were those things,”you said. Percy didn’t have time to reply cause your dad jumped to it before him. “They are cyclops honey they’re monsters” your dad said. “Uh, how did you know that dad?” You said with a surprise look. He told you about the Greek gods and you being a demigod. You thought this was a joke so you didn’t really believe it. Your dad pulled into a ditch next to a big hill with a pine tree on top of it. “I love you (y/n),be safe” your dad said kissing your forehead. Percy got out the car first and went to open your door. “Come on we gotta get over that hill to be safe” Percy said. “ how is going over that hill gonna keep us safe” you said twisting the silver band on your ring to the right. Percy picked you up like you were nothing and started carrying you up the hill. You saw your dads car fade away in the distance. You started to tear up thinking you will never see your dad again.Y’all made to the top were the pine tree was. Percy put you down when you looked up you see a dragon.“AHHGHH!!” You screamed as you fell on your ass. “It’s not gonna hurt you unless your a monster or someone try to take that fleece” Percy chuckled. “Oh” you sighed in relief. You stood up wiping the tears that escaped your eye sockets.Y’all walk down to this big house next to a strawberry field. “This is the big house it is where we get prophecies and other stuff.” You and Percy walked on the big house porch where four people were. You scanned the four people on the porch. One was in wheel chair with a shaggy beard,another was wearing a cheetah print Hawaiian shirt and drinking what u think was Diet Coke in a whine glass. Then there were two boys that looked abt a year older or two. There was a blonde who was a lot taller than u and gave off a warm and light feeling, the other one was shorter than the blonde he had black hair that was poofy and was like a few inches taller he gave off a dark and cold vibe. You stared at the black haired boy for seemed like a few minutes. Percy coughed and elbowed you in the ribs. “Ouch,what was that for” you whispered then smiled at the black haired boy apologetically. “Ah, hi my name is (y/n) (y/l/n),nice to meet y’all!” You smiled. The blonde eyes went wide then narrowed like he was debating to say something. But he didn’t, guess that was a good thing you didn’t feel like talking to anyone cause you was kind of tired from a long day. The others introduced themselves and headed off to the Hermes cabin.

the brief resurgence of freestyle music in the mid to late 1990s was a time! after losing clout at radio and club land at the start of the 1990s, freestyle music was being (re)discovered thanks in part to collage, lil suzy, planet soul featuring nadine rene, lina santiago, and jocelyn enriquez. these artists all managed to release freestyle songs that were sonically in concert with the ever-evolving dance/pop sound.

as a new fan to genre in 1994, coupled with the fact that i am a completionist, i was on a search to listen and purchase every freestyle song and that especially included new releases. so when i first heard buffy’s “give me…a reason” in early 1995, i was on a mission.

now, doing this work was not easy in 1995. my access to the internet was by watching people talk about it on tv (lol) and music magazine’s seldom, if almost never covered freestyle music. so i would just spend hours in the singles section of tower records records going through every CD single until i thought i recognized a title of a song i was looking for. it was WORK!

discovered by frequent stevie b. collaborator dadgel atabay while singing at a friend's wedding, buffy solango landed on billboard's hot 100 in 1996 with "give me...a reason." signed to filipino independent label velocity records, buffy's debut single "give me... a reason" quickly became a regional hit in the bay area upon its release in late 1994.

"give me...a reason" landed on radio playlists nationally and finally reached a respectable peak of #78 on billboard's hot 100 in late march 1996. buffy‘a debut and only album “first love” was a solid release. two additional singles, “no one” and “2 find u” were released by were regulated to regional airplay.
