When children of Apollo feel very alone or sad...Apollo likes to send his kids signs that he's watching and is there for them, for example if it's in the winter he might make sure they have and extra sunny day or he'll make sure they find a new song they really like. He makes sure his kids see the number 7 a lot...Just small signs but signs none the less his precious babies aren't really alone.

DAY 6: CHRISTMAS TREE FARM

I recommend listening to Christmas Tree Farm while reading this <3

“Are we sure about what we’re doing right now?” Will asked as he sat in the passenger seat driving to his grandparents’ house. It was freezing cold, and they had been driving for the past hour. Bianca had been sleeping from the moment they left New York which was great as he couldn’t handle her being fussy and tired this early in their journey.

“Well, considering that we are 15 minutes from their house I think it’s a bit late to change your mind,” Nico replied. “But if you really want to, I can take the wrong exit and drive to whatever the road takes us.”

“No, it’s fine. Let’s get over with it.”

“Will, spending Christmas with your family isn’t something you take off your to-do list.” He said with a bit more concerned tone as he knew Will was getting anxious.

“With my family, it is like that. If we go this year, we’ll be free to do whatever we want for the next ten years.”

“It can’t be that bad.”

“It will be great, I’m sure but, you know, I can’t do this all the time,” Will said in an explanatory tone. Nico understood. He knew that Will was the golden child of the family to the point that he was a six-year-old suffocating from his overbearing grandparents. But he loved them, nevertheless. And they had been by his side his whole life. “It’s snowing.” He mentioned.

“We’re in Boston. Of course, it’s snowing.”

“I don’t know if you know it, but I lived in Boston for four years. I was in a small college.” Will smiled smugly.

“Oh yes, what was it called? Hardass?” He joked.

“Harvard is better than Columbia and Princeton.”

“I don’t think so. To be confirmed in the near future. It will be the first Bianca will see snow.”

“Good thing I have charged my phone.”

Soon enough they reached Will’s grandparents' house in Boston. It was a huge mansion with acres and acres of land. They spent there their Christmas holidays since Will was born as it was his grandmother’s childhood home. Will had a soft spot for that house. The moment they arrived they were bombarded with questions from Inez, Will’s grandmother who put her whole attention on Bianca.

After Bianca’s nap, they managed to get out of the house and walk around.

“Why haven’t I ever come here before? I’m just curious.” Nico asked.

Will shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t know. I like spending Christmas with you. But this year grandma insisted that we brought Bianca with us to spend Christmas all together.” Bianca was running ahead of them, wearing a puffy snowsuit trying not to fall down. She had started walking for almost a year and she was getting the hang of it. “We should go check out the lightened Christmas trees,” Will suggested as he lifted Bianca off the ground.

“Your grandparents light Christmas trees other than the ones inside?” Nico asked amused by how overboard everything was.

“Well, this is one of the perks of having a Christmas tree farm. They also sell Christmas trees and wine. You are going to love the trees. What do you think, Bee?”

“I want the trees.” She said amused by the new things she was experiencing.

“We also need a small Christmas tree to put in the living room,” Will added. “This will do.” He motioned Nico to the tree next to him.

“We are not getting that tree,” Nico said trying to contain his laughter.

“Why not?”

“It looks worse than the Charlie Brown one. It’s not even charming.” He couldn’t contain his laughter any longer. “It’s like it came out of Peanuts.”

Will wasn’t that amused by his husband’s reaction. Until he took a better look at the tree and imagined a single red ornament hanging from it. “I can’t believe it. It’s the Charlie Brown tree.”

“Who’s Charlie Brown?” Bianca asked as she was confused about what was happening around her.

“We’re going to watch a movie tonight. It’s a Christmas one with a little boy and his dog, Snoopy.”

“Can we go now?” She asked again.

“We need to find a tree for Grandma Inez first, darling,” Will told her.

“When is Nana coming?”

“She’ll be here after you wake up tomorrow morning,” Nico promised her.

An hour later they had put the tree Bianca picked out in the living room and put on A Charlie Brown Christmas CD that was in the house since Will was Bianca’s age. She ended up sleeping before the movie ended, but it didn’t matter as she was going to watch it many more times in the future with her siblings.

I got into an argument with some one who was like "Percy hated him" like dude, Percy is incapable of hating anyone but Octavian istg. My dude even feels sympathy for the monsters he kills. Percy Jackson is one of the first people to welcome Nico to CHB. Percy Jackson is THE ONLY person who looked for Nico after he went missing when his siter died(he did that fully knowing who Nico's parent was). The only time Percy remotely didn't trust Nico was when he genuinely betrayed him in TLO. And even then he got over that! In HoO Percy might not have been the friendliest but this dude is suffering from amnesia and the lasting effects that being used in the way he's been used since he was 12 can be and...

is it just me or do i wanna see nico coming to terms to the real world as an adult. after being trapped in his youth for 100 years. learning to do taxes and earn money with a job. when he learns that he is not young anymore. when he realises he doesn't even know what stream of careers he wants to go through. when he realises that he can't keep running back to the dead like he did when he was young.
