The notable exclusions are ToraGoji (because these are mostly based on an AU I'm working on with a friend, and part of the lore is that Tora doesn't actually look like that, that's just how the Americans decided to depict her in their movie about her, so my emoji for her is what she "actually" looks like), Hannah Barbera Goji (because in the lore, he's ToraGoji's dad and isn't seen), an Gyura Goji (because I just don't like his design at all, sorry u,u )

Review: NECA Godzilla 2001 – Giant Monsters All-Out Attack Now, I did not expect to ever find this figure in-store! The NECA Godzilla 2001 figure is roughly a half year to year old at this time, but still a wonderful figure.

sorry, yesterday i could not do the godzilla challenge, so today i do two.

day 5: favorite costume:

sokogekigoji (gmk)

this is really my favorite one, is like a break from the realistic and fit millenium godzilla, to look to the past, the heisei era, and even if godzilla is know to be a hero, this one look completly dangerous and evil, even at looking at his eyes you can know he is thirsty for blood

day 6: favorite villain human/alie:

i don't know, i don't pay to much attention to the villain in a movie were to fucking giant beasts fight. so, sorry not really into that

Tonight, on Tokuween, we're talking Godzilla. Not just any Godzilla, though; the Godzilla from Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack.

GMKG was a 2001 Godzilla movie that more-or-less served as a sequel to the original Godzilla movie (A classic, that everyone should definitely watch). In the original movie, Godzilla wasn't a hero or even an antihero; he was a destructive force of nature. A representation of the fear of the atomic bomb. At the end of the movie, he was destroyed by a chemical compound known as the Oxygen Destroyer.

In GMKH, Godzilla returns, via the will of the ghosts of hundreds of dead soldiers. Yeah. He's basically a zombie. The creepy, pupil-less eyes really add to the effect.

In designing the suit for SokogekiGoji, as he's called, filmmaker Shusuke Kaneko combined aspects from several different suits to create a Godzilla that was both modern and a reflection of the original monster. I certainly think he succeeded.

It should be noted that the SokogekiGoji suit was the tallest Godzilla suit, measuring at over seven feet tall, until that Snickers commercial with Godzilla.

We won't be talking about that Godzilla on tokuween, though. He's not scary; he's just a cool guy.
