#parasite (15) #director: #bongjoonho This film is a twisted story of the haves and have-nots, it shows us how a scheming lower-class family infiltrates the lives of their wealthier, upper-class counterparts. This thriller is written and directed by South Korean filmmaker Bong Joon Ho (Mother, Okja, Snowpiercer) #choyeojeong (The Concubine, The Servant) #kanghosong (The Age of Shadows, The Drum King, A Taxi Driver, Snowpiercer), #choiwooshik (Okja, Rosebud, Train to Busan) and #parksodam (Fukuoka, The Priests, The Throne) star in this year's most talked-about film of the year. MY FINAL THOUGHTS Overall I gave this astonishing movie a well deserved 5/5 stars ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ I'm so pleased my prediction was spot on that this film was going to be a huge success at this year's #oscars. I honestly had feeling in my bones that Parasite was going to get plenty of recognition at this year's award ceremonies. Last year it won at Cannes becoming the first South Korean film to win the prestigious Palme D'Or. My expectations were fulfilled when I got the opportunity to #review it last month at a early screening on the January 24th. This film has a nice blend mix of #filmmaking magic, it has unique, bold camerawork, a pinch of humour, and shocking moments to keep the audience intrigued throughout.
