Hey Ya! - Outkast / I know the actual meaning is about a guy about to divorce his wife, but listen: this fits Sojiro so much with the way he sees love as this doomed thing and his parents failed relationship. And the contrast between the upbeat lyrics and the depressing lyrics!!! They way Nishikado lives this lavish party life but is fueled by repressed trauma!!!

Don't Wanna fall in Love - Kyle / Sojiro and Yuuki: the song

Problems - Mother Mother / I know I KNOW this song is in every character playlist but I feel that it fits how he sees himself in comparison to Yuuki and his "I'm a nice guy but I'm not a good person" mindset

Not Allowed - TV Girl / It fits his story with both Yuuki and Sara. I'd say it's one of the songs that fit him the most.

Sarah - Alex G / Not only is Sara his childhood crush's name, but most of the lyrics also fit them.

Sex money feelings die - Lykke Li - This one just has his vibes

Ship in a Bottle - Fin / I put this one on the list because of the ship in a bottle incident from the manga, but I also interpret the lyrics as being about a guy that represses his feelings to not get hurt (I have no idea what the actual meaning is bc i found this song through a playlist from another fandom).

There are also some extra songs like WAP and Sexyback that aren't that serious but fit him

thinking about the make over scene between sojirou and yuuki, only sojirou is singing how to be a heartbreaker by marina the entire time.

The Final 2 Men That Make Up F4

My intro into Asian Dramas and such was these series and I don't pretend they were all perfect. Quite the opposite each adaptation had it's issues but when you look pass issues and still adore something or someone even. That's real admiration and love. So let's meet the 2 guys that help make up F4

Number 1: The 2 men that help make up F4 in the 1995 movie were just wallpaper. Unfortunately they were just there with no real storyline. And it was sad but I won't leave them out.

SAEKI KENSAKU played Nishikado Sojiro...surprisingly this gentleman had one acting credit and it was Hana Yori Dango in 1995. Then He retired from acting and no other information is available.

HASHIZUME KOICHI played Mimasaka Akira...this actor had many series to his credit but sadly he died 4 years after Hana Yori Dango in 1999 in a bike accident.

Number 2: 2001 Meteor Garden Adaptation seemed almost in the 70's or 80's F4 were all long haired cutie pies.

VANNESS WU (in the yellow) played Mei Zuo..

KEN CHU played Xi Men

Number 3: In 2005 Japan's Hana Yori Dango Series. The other 2 Members of F4 was back to the same names as the 1995 Movie of the same name.

ABE TSUYOSHI played Mimasaka Akira

MATSUDA SHOTA played Nishikado Sojiro

Number 4: South Korea's Boys Over Flowers was unlike the others because no others used these names while both Japanese Versions used the same names as did Taiwan and China.

KIM BUM played the ladies man So Yi Jung

KIM JOON played Song Woo Bin

Number 5: China's Version called Meteor Garden just like Taiwan's Version returned Xi MEN & Mei Zuo. China's Version was excellent like the rest but it was a whopping 49 Episodes. All F4 Members had story arcs. Well they did in other versions as well.

Xi Men was played by CEASAR WU

Mei Zuo was played by CONNOR LEONG or LEON LEONG

So these handsome gentlemen rounded out the F4 in the Japanese, Taiwanese and Chinese versions of this iconic story. Do you have a favorite of them. Or were they just friends of Domyouji Tsukuba & Hanazawa Rui/ Daoming Si & Hauze Lei

Actually I do like all of them but I do prefer Number 4 & Number 5. Because I am a huge fan of KIM BUM & KIM JOON and CEASAR WU & LEON LEONG were also excellent for me. But again I love all these guys.

A series with long, overarching plots, C'est La Vie 5 is the product of years of character retooling, research, and refining. What starts with the traumatic death of the fathers of Amamiya Ren, Futaba, and Shinya leads into the discovery of a terrible family secret. The Amamiya patriarchs touched many lives throughout the series, notably Arisato Minako, herself struggling with an ailing brother. Her boyfriend is hiding secrets of his own about his former life, and those secrets are starting to come out of the shadows. Aragaki Shinjiro left that life behind, however, and is not at all interested in former gang member Urameshi Yuusuke’s seeking a job at the LGBTQ haven the Stray Sheep in a seemingly genuine attempt to turn his life around. All Nishikado Sojiro wants to do is fix his two best friends up but they're both being stupidly difficult about it, to the point where even shy Kuragi Machi has to say something to them. Meanwhile, a series of murders around Tokyo has Commissioner Sato Makoto more on edge than her boss's pressures on her to perform, because they have no leads and a growing pile of bodies.

Book One: Blue Flower

Ren's parents have died in a car accident and now he must take in his siblings Futaba and Shinya. While balancing the sudden imposition and his new role as head of the family, he must also contend with his demanding job as a member of the Tokyo police force, his parents' businesses and their funeral, and his own feelings of grief. Futaba has become a shut in and Shinya is bordering on delinquency. His boyfriend Ryuuji is his rock, but Ryuuji has a secret of his own that he feels he now can't burden Ren with (because who drops a bomb on a man whose parents just died?)

Shinjiro is keeping dark secrets from Minako, concerned she’s already pushed to the brink. A murderer stalks Tokyo and the police have no leads, leaving Makoto two steps shy of a mental breakdown and Ren with more work than he can handle. Everything had been so much easier when his parents were still alive.

Book Two: Secret Things

Minako is trying desperately to keep herself together after the death of her father figure Amamiya Jun. But her brother is very sick and she's deeply in denial, and Shinjiro - her rock - is keeping secrets himself. Shinjiro is worried for her, and his friends Akihiko and Naoto are worried for HIM as his health worsens. Meanwhile, Minako's neglected friends are going through issues of their own: Hina has been in a deep depression since running across her abusive ex-boyfriend, and Sojirou reluctantly teams up with Jaekyung and Komaki to help.

The murder spree in Tokyo may have slowed to a crawl, but Mikasa's life is far from peaceful as her family drops a bombshell on her that rocks the very foundation of who she is. Unable to keep busy and keep her mind off of it with work, she seeks solace at Murakawa Shrine and old friends.

Hana Yori Dango

Oh well, I'm still not over the craze yet, *Giggles* Here I am, just completed the Season 1 & 2 of Hana Yori Dango with 20 episodes in less than a week, yaey! (This is the Japanese version of Meteor Garden & Boys Over Flowers). If I'm not mistaken, this is the TV adoptation of the versions where it was based, originally from the Japanese Shojo Manga written by Yoko Kamio.

The fact that I'm now very much familiar with the plot even with my mind shut as I’ve seen all the 4 versions of this story. This is also the second version I  completely watched with my husband RJ since he skipped the Korean version all because he didn't like the way it was expressed. But for me, I loved them all with all of my heart, lol.

To refresh with, This is the story of MAKINO TSUKUSHI, a tough, hard-working, below class student of a prestigious school, Eitoku and how she immersed her life with the School legendary bullies which consist of four sons of the wealthiest and most powerful family, the F4 (FLOWER 4) when she got the red notice from them (anyone who gets this card will be the subject of bullying from the entire school at all cost until the target decides to quits or expelled).

Despite embarrassment and harassment, Makino refuses to quit, and her retaliation and declaration of war against them caught  DOMYOUJI TSUKASA’S (the leader of  F4) attention and made him fall in love with her. 

All the versions have the same plot but all shown in different flow/different impression to spice it up. But still, the story revolves around the love and courtship of the Main Characters,  Domyouji Tsukasa and Makino Tsukushi. How they faced various challenges and obstacles including their social status and social differences not to mention Tsukasa’s mother’s extreme disagreement with her.

I mostly liked Makino’s character in here. Not that loud, not that messy, not that clumsy. She has this tough character as a seaweed at the same time with a very sweet, innocent and refreshing personality. She is dainty and feminine here which is similar to Chinese Dong-Shancai ’s character rather than that of Geum Jan Di’s gracelessness, loudness, and clumsiness.

Tsukasa’s character is a bit different here as well. He is more funny, witty and comic that is different from all the versions and of course, not to mention (once again) that he is cute as ever. I literally liked all the series Lead Characters, tbh, (From Dao Ming Si of Taiwan & Chinese version to Gu Jun Pyo of Korean version and now Domyouji Tsukasa of Japanese version). -> exactly the same order how I've seen them. He is a bully and childish at the same time in a comical way, that is very original of him, like how he would always speak erroneous Nihonggo and how he would shudder with excitement like a kid just by talking about Makino on his friends.

Hanazawa Rui also shows obvious admiration for Tsukushi he becomes slightly perpetrator to the Main Character’s Love story but eventually gives in to Tsukasa on the latter part of the series.

Nishikado Sojiro & Mimasaka Akira were also cute in a different way. 

Moreover, I liked the part where Tsukasa develops an amnesia when he gets into an accident and Makino’s series of funny attempts in order to help him regain back his memory. After Tsukasa saved Makino from freezing to death in the blizzard, he develops a fever inside the log cabin, and while Makino is taking care of him, some flashbacks from the past made him remember Makino that is similar to the circumstance happened on their first date in Season 1, then finally remember the  "first girl he has ever fallen in love with."

I also like the Soundtrack of both Season 1 & 2 especially the Opening Theme of Season 1 titled Wish & Love so sweet in Season 2 (Sang by ARASHI where Jun Matsumoto is a member.)

Synopsis :

Makino Tsukushi is the only poor student at Eitoku Gakuen, the school of the ridiculously rich and privileged that is ruled by Flower 4 or F4, a group of four boys who come from extremely powerful families: Domyoji Tsukasa, the leader and heir of the Domyoji World Finance Group; Hanazawa Rui, the introverted son of a large company; Nishikado Sojiro, a player who is the heir of a tea ceremony school; and Mimasaka Akira, a madam killer with ties to the underground. If a student gets on the F4's bad side, he/she gets a red notice and is bullied and driven out of school.

Makino hopes to pass her days quietly-- without drawing any attention to herself-- but one day, she stands up to Domyoji in defense of her friend. The next day, Makino gets the dreaded red notice. Even though she is harassed, Makino decides to keep going to school because she is a "tough weed". She declares war right back on the F4. Her resolve gets the attention of her crush Hanazawa Rui and oddly enough, rouses romantic feelings in her worst enemy, Domyoji Tsukasa.

The series is based on the Japanese shoujo manga "Hana Yori Dango" (Boys Before Flowers) by Kamio Yoko.

My thoughts on this drama :

The original Japanese version is as good as the Korean adaptation, but more faithful to the manga. The actors were well chosen and roles well acted. But it's a school drama coupled with rich heir and evil mom plot. Maybe the reference in this genre, but still. A must see anyway.

Divine Gate

Được cho là có sự chuẩn bị kỹ, từ năm 2014-2015, năm 2016 được phát hành,  Divine Gate mở ra một thế giới mà Nhân Giới, Thiên Giới và Địa Giới được liên kết với nhau, nơi mà ham muốn và mâu thuẫn luôn chạm trán nhau , một kỉ nguyên hỗn loạn chưa từng có. Để thiết lập lại vị trí, một cánh cổng được mở ra, Hội Đồng Thế Giới được hình thành. Đằng sau cánh cổng đó là những gì? Có thật là ai có thể đến được cánh cổng đó sẽ có thể tái tạo lại cả thế giới? Liệu thứ thay đổi là quá khứ đen tối hay là tương lai tươi sáng? Bộ phim được đánh giá là hay nhất của năm 2016, khi đề cao sức mạnh con người, tình cảm con người bộc lộ khá rõ trong phim.

Hai to Gensou no Grimgar

Câu chuyện của một cuộc phiêu lưu sinh tử từ đống tro tàn, thuộc thể loại hành động phiêu lưu và pha chút huyền bí , phim được chuyển thể từ bộ Manga của Nhật. Khi nhân vật Haruhiro nhận ra những gì đã xảy ra, cậu đã bị bao vây bởi bóng tối. Những câu hỏi tại sao mình ở đây? Nơi này là nơi nào ?liên tục xoay quanh trong đầu cậu. Với cậu bây giờ, cậu không ai nhớ bất cứ điều gì khác hơn là tên riêng của họ, vẫn không biết những người xung quanh cậu đều giống như nhau. Gần giống boruto, hay tv đánh giá bộ anime phiêu lưu và mạo hiểm này dành cho các bạn trẻ thích yếu tố lạ, rung rợn, nơi mà tinh thần đồng đội được nâng cao.

Erased

Fujinuma Satoru, 29 tuổi là một họa sĩ vẽ manga, nhưng nhữngbức họa của anh không được các nhà sản xuất đánh giá cao. Anh buộc mưu sinh qua ngày bằng công việc bán thời gian, giao bánh pizza tại cửa hàng Oasi Pizza. Trong khi trốn chạy khỏi cảnh sát, anh đã dùng khả năng “revival”, và lần này không phải vài phút mà là … Erased – Boku dake Ina Machi – Thị trấn nơi mình tôi lưu lạc được đánh giá sẽ được khán giả yêu thích hơn trong năm 2017-2018.

Sushi police

Phim xoay quanh một vấn đề vẫn còn đang gây tranh cãi hiện nay đó là “nên bảo tồn hay nên cách tân? Tư tưởng cốt lõi không mới nhưng Sushi police lại không khô khan. Cách tiếp cận hài hước ,Điểm nhấn sinh động nằm ở những vũ khí, dụng cụ chiến đấu gắn liền đến món sushi, bộ phim thực sự thu hút khán giản. Chưa kể Sushi police có tạo hình 3D khá khác biệt so với dạng anime 2D phổ biến.

Ajin

Mang nhiều yếu tố hư cấu, Ajin là một bộ phim kể về cuộc đời một học sinh cấp 3 thông minh và tài năng – cậu bé Kei Nagai. Một lần trên đường đi học về, trong một tai nạn giao thông , cậu đã trở nên miên man không biết gì thêm về mình nữa. Liệu cậu bé có thể trở lại như xưa?

Tokyo Ghoul 3

Gần giống Ajin, nhưng mang yếu tố kinh dị nhiều hơn, Tokyo Ghoul 3 là một bộ phim kinh dị với đồ họa mang tính chất bóng tối và được diễn ra tại thành phố Tokyo. Tại thành phố bị ám ảnh của Ghoul, cậu bé tên Kaneki gặp gỡ được cô gái tên Rize – cậu không biết cô ấy lại là một con Ghoul. Một đêm sau tai nạn, cuộc sống của Kaneki thay đổi, sau đó cậu được cấy ghép nội tạng của Rize và trở thành một nửa người nửa Ghoul. Rồi cuộc sống của cậu sẽ ra sao dưới hình hài mới?

Con nhà giàu

Bộ truyện được xuất bản vào năm 1992 hoàn thành vào  2003 với tổng cộng 37 tập truyện. Năm 1996, Truyện đã giành được nhiều giải thưởng về thể loại truyện tình cảm hay nhất và được chuyển thể thành phim tại nhiều quốc gia châu Á như Nhật Bản, Đài Loan và Hàn Quốc. Phim được chuyển thể từ truyện con nhà giàu cũng nhận được rất nhiều giải thưởng danh gia trong làng phim châu á. Tính tới 2005 thì Con nhà giàu là một trong những truyện bán chạy nhất mọi thời đại ở nhật bản.

Câu chuyện xoay quanh Makino Tsukushi xuất thân là con nhà nghèo theo học ở Học viện Eitoku ( trường chỉ dành cho giới quý tộc giàu có ) nổi tiếng là nhóm Flower 4 hay F4: Doumyoji Tsukasa, Hanazawa Rui, Mimasaka Akira và Nishikado Sojiro. Nếu một học sinh bị bị nhóm này ghét thì sẽ bị dán thẻ đỏ và sẽ bị bắt nạt và phải rời khỏi trường. Trong một lân bảo vệ bạn thì Makino Tsukushi  đã đắc tội với F4. Nhưng Makino Tsukushi không phải là cô gái bình thường mà đó là một cô gái mạnh mẽ, tự tin nhưng cũng rất đáng yêu. Sau những phen đối đầu với F4 đã nảy xinh một tình yêu đầy chông gai, trắc trở và cũng thật hài hước.  Cô gái Tsukushi đã có một tình yêu đẹp với hoàng tử  Tsukasa của tập đoàn Doumyoji

Câu chuyện là mối tình đầu thật trong sáng và hồn nhiên của hai nhân vật Takaki và Akari năm 13 tuổi. Tình cảm của Takaki và Akari ban đầu được nuôi dưỡng từ những điểm giống nhau từ sợ thích cho đến tính cánh. Trả qua rất nhiều sóng gió với 3 phần chính của câu chuyển, kết hợp với giọng văn tinh tế, truyền cảm thì 5 centimet trên giây đã đem đến cho người đọc những phút giây cảm xúc khó tả từ sự yêu thương trong sáng tuổi học trò cho đến sự tiếc nuối khi không đến được với nhau vì có duyên những không nợ.. Ba giai đoạn, ba mảnh ghép, xoay quanh Takaki , người luôn bị ám ảnh bởi ký ức và những điều tiếc nuối. Hình ảnh Takaki chờ cho tới khi xe lửa đi qua hình ảnh người phụ nữ khuất dần trong tầm mắt để rồi mỉm cười, tinh thần lạc quan, buông bỏ quá khứ để bước tiếp hiện tại như một cái kết cho tình yêu tuổi học trò nhiều mơ mộng

Ngoài những bộ phim nổi bật ở trên, Itachi Shinden, Attack on Titan 2, One Piece cũng được mệnh danh là những anime hay nhất hiện nay. Phim Nhật Bản luôn mang một yếu tố tự tôn dân tộc truyền thống, nhưng cái chính vẫn là những bài học về con người trong thế giới hôm nay.
