Merry Christmas or happy holidays to you! This is a short little fic and I hope it gives you even the tiniest bit of joy as you read it.

when the sun came up

His eyes cracked open, his head hazy and buzzing. He winced immediately, the swinging light still too bright for him even though it was the mellow yellow color of a dying light. Stiles looked down at himself, unsteady with his hands tied behind his back. His clothes were still intact; he couldn’t see how much damage his abductors had done to him. He ached all over. It was impossible to tell where one injury ended and another began.

A choked sob escaped him. He wanted to wail and gnash his teeth, but his captors would certainly notice he was awake if he did that. The less he had to deal with them, the better.

Stiles felt like he was suffocating. His binder, usually an immense comfort item to him on a daily basis, now felt like it was too tight, digging ruthlessly into his skin. He felt his captor’s hands on him even now, tightening his binder past the point of breathing easy and slapping him when he fought against them.

Thus concludes the eleventh edition of the Sterek Secret Santa!
