Now that reveals have been posted for @stereksecretsanta, I can finally share this lovely piece I got to draw for @wolfspurr! You can also view I Believe on AO3. She had mutual pining and getting together on her list. So, since I wanted to capture some holiday spirit...this happen. With the magic, a tangle of Christmas (fairy) lights, and yeahhh, a first kiss between Stiles and Derek! This was such a great piece to make, as it's been a while since I've worked a little looser than the previous works I've made in the last few months. Plus, this year has been such a challenging one to get through, so I thought something a little more romantic was definitely a must. And this color palette, winter vibes and soft boys? Yasss! <3 Wolfspurr, thanks for being an amazing writer and for being part of this fandom. I'm so glad I got to collab with you this year for RBB, and happy to call you a friend (so we can scream about all the silly things)! The Sterek Secret Santa 2023 Reveal Post 

Ho Ho Ho!

Thus concludes the eleventh edition of the Sterek Secret Santa!

I hope you all have had a fantastic Christmas and that you’ve enjoyed all the Sterek-y goodness created by all the lovely secret santas!

I’d have been nowhere if it wasn’t for the following AMAZING Christmas Angels, who all embraced the true Christmas spirit of giving by merrily coming to my aid to make sure no one was left without a gift: @geekmom13, @trinitorettomadrigal, @always-mimits I cannot thank you all enough <3

The Sterek Secret Santa 2023 Posting Schedule :) 

It’s Christmas Eve!! \o/

Hope everyone is excited to see lots of Sterek-themed gifts? I KNOW I AM :D

The gifts will be tagged with #stereksanta23 and the #username of whomever the gift is meant for! This way everyone hopefully should be able to “find” their gift(s) quite easily :) I added the @ username thing too, but it didn’t work for everyone who’s participating.

The gift-posting is scheduled to commence at 10PM GMT (four hours from now ;) and should automatically go on until it runs out some time around Christmas Day morning, with new gifts posted every 15 minutes :D

Everyone is getting gifts again! *throws confetti* Thanks to a couple of amazing Christmas Angels that have graciously stepped in to pinch-hit for some last minute gifts.

I really hope you enjoy this fic. I tried to add elements of ABO, and also spin a little bit of Beauty and the Beast elements with Stiles barely being phased by Derek's werewolf form, even though most people would turn and run. Also sent it in the vague, in the past time to give it a little more of a fairy tale like feel!

Stiles Stilinski is a spark; a cherished rarity by many, especially in the small village of Beacon Hills. His mother, Claudia, had been a spark as well, before she had fallen ill. His father Noah held no magic, but he is a good man, and kept the town safe as the local sheriff. 

There were a few individuals in town, however, who thought that despite the healing potentials of spark magic–which is what Claudia had used her own powers for when she was alive–that those powers would turn bad and Stiles would doom their cozy town.

The Wedding Date

“FBI Cyber Crime Unit, Special Agent Stilinski speaking, how may I assist you?” Stiles balanced the phone against his shoulder as he stepped up in the line for his coffee. The girl in front of him glanced back behind her shoulder, clearly trying to eavesdrop.

“Hey, kiddo, nice title,” he heard his dad’s voice from the other end of the phone, clearly amused by Stiles’ choice of answering the phone. “All packed up and ready to come this weekend?”

Stiles nodded, then realized his dad couldn’t see his head moving. “Yeah, all set! The car is packed up, I’m getting my suit from the cleaner, and then Rick and I will be on the way!”

“I’m just so glad that you found someone, Stiles. Can’t wait to meet the boyfriend who finally convinced you to do more than play video games and study.”

Stiles pulled down the visor and looked at himself in the mirror. He’d been stressed out all day. Mostly because he was going on a blind date, much less at a Christmas party. He was supposed to meet the guy there and had a very vague idea of what he looked like. Lydia had told him that Derek was traditionally handsome and had beautiful green eyes. That was all he had to go on, so he hoped the night wouldn't be a bust. Lydia would be there, but he knew that she’d leave him with his date as soon as she could so he could get some. Stiles definitely wouldn't turn it down, but it wasn't his plan, either.

He sighed and pushed the visor up again, then stretched his neck, running his hand over the back of it. He just really needed this to be a good night. Stiles was tired and needed a break, just for one night. Work was fine, even though it was stressful and his dating life was nonexistent. He wasn't exactly upset about that, but sometimes he did miss having someone next to him in bed.

Feel It In My Bones

Stiles looks out the window at the snow coming down, coating the streets in an almost pristine shade of white. 

It would be pretty if Stiles didn't have to go out in it. He debates calling Lydia and telling her he can't make it. But then thinks better of it. 

She wouldn't accept it, and knowing her, she'd come all the way across town to get him herself and then complain the whole way to the party about how he'd made her come out in this weather.

Never mind the fact that she expects everyone else to venture out in the storm. 

But it's her engagement party, and she wasn't going to let anything stop it from happening. Not even an unexpected snowstorm. 

He sighs and grabs his wallet, putting it in his back pocket before he puts on his coat, gloves, scarf, and hat and grabs his keys.
