Ypu show up and behind the desk is a man and woman talking, and you just shyly ask if they'd possibly be able to fix your power of steering because your car is really sucking at turning right now, and one of then men, who honestly is like probably around your father's age but is hot and makes you feel heat raise in your face when he looks at you in disbelief after seeing the, as my family likes to call them, low income wreck you call a car, and he's just like, "You sure that's the only thing that needs fixed little one?"

Embarrassed you just look down and shake your head before mumbling out, "N-no, there are several other things that need fixed, but...but I cant really afford to do anything more than the steering problem right now..."

Boba just looks you up and down, and calls for someone name, not really catching it, and when they walk up front with a frown with a quick, yes boss, Boba just shoots back, "Take her car into the shop, and start fixing anything you see wrong."

You try to protest, but Boba only holds up a hand, and whispers something to the man, before holding his hand out for your keys while saying, "We'll try and have the car done by the end of the week, but no promises. Until then here," he pauses and writes something on a slip of paper and hands it to you, "is my number. If you have somewhere to be, call me. Grocery shopping, class, work, whatever. Just call or text me ahead of time. Now, go get what you need from that hunk of junk and I'll drive you home."

Boba manages to spook the potential intruders out and away from the ship, where they run into Jango right as he's returning. He dispatched them and you come stumbling out, having been woken by the sound of blaster fire. You're confused as hell but Boba shyly explains what happened, suddenly self conscious. That's when you and Jango realized that it was going to be alright, that you three could really be a family. Together.

anakin, obi wan, and ahsoka have designated movie nights whenever possible during shore leave. they watch anything and everything, and eat a ton of snacks. they also paint each others nails, do face masks, and obi wan turns out to be amazing at braiding hair- for reasons still unknown. hes teaching ahsoka how to style hair a la anakin, who sits there and tells them about all the bitchy senators padme told him about the other day as they braid (because yes, they know. anidala aint fooling anybody). its just a lot of fluff and giggling and gossiping and sometimes they stay up till the sun rises, and its so beautiful as it sparkles off the thousands of buildings, that it reminds them what exactly they’re fighting for.

I got a soft thought: Din is used to the cold in hyperspace, but you’re not. He notices you shivering all the time, trying to pretend it’s nothing and he won’t have that. So he secretly saves some credits and the next time you guys go out to buy more supplies he excuses himself saying that he needs to take care of something. You don’t think anything of it, maybe he needed to pee and that’s why he was acting strange. But after about 15 minutes you start to worry because he hasn’t returned, when you go looking for him you find him in a stand checking a bunch of blankets, the old lady who’s selling them left him to help another customer while he decides which one to buy. (He even checked if anyone was looking before removing one of his gloves so he could feel the blankets because he wanted you to have the softest one) 🥺

Listen, including my comforter I have five blankets on my bed, and thats only because the other two are currently down at the dorms where I sleep when I am at work during the week. The only way I am sleeping well, even with my insomnia, is if I am under at LEAST two blankets. But I am also a stubborn bitch and I know space is cold, but I would sooooo try and hide the fact that I am cold, even if I am doing so through chattering teeth. So just the IDEA of this man counting his credits and sneakily feeling every blanket just so he can get me the best one has my heart tightening because that is just so perfectly like a love language for me?? I have since incorporated this to a degree in one of my fics but here it is as the original hc-

You've always loved singing. You don't have an exceptional singing voice. But, you know you can sing in key and since childhood you've been told your tone is very sweet.

So, you sing without being self conscious, while working around the Crest, while rocking Grogu (sometimes dancing with him, which he loves!), and tbh when ever a song gets stuck in your head.

Other than during Grogu Dance Party, you wouldn't really call what you do dancing, but you move to your singing...

Most of Dins experience with music are somber ballads of fallen warriors, sung in deep powerful masculine voices... your singing melts him.

He is not immune to the sway of your hips while you move to your music, but it is the gentleness of your voice, the sweet melodies and words is what drives him to distraction.

He softens at your singing with The Child, and wonders how it might if you were to look at him and sing one of your sweet songs.

I used to sing my cousin to sleep because I was the only one that could get him to sleep when he was really fussy. So I'm just imaging that with Grogu, just a little lullaby as I sway back and forth. And Din is just watching, totally entranced over where he'd been sitting cleaning his weapons. And he's just full heart eyes at that moment.

Better yet, let's add the layer on that maybe he starts the feel sleepy, and no matter how hard HE tries he ends up falling asleep. So when you put Grogu the bed finally, and you start talking to him, only to realize Din was leaning back into the wall with his head down, so you smile and gently walk over and wake him. "Come on, can't have you sleeping on the floor and hurting your back, old man." Din grumbles but follows your lead to the bed, making sure to pull you in after him so he can hold onto your warmth as he falls back to sleep, with maybe the added layer of you unconsciously humming the lullaby from minutes ago.

And then he's literally sliding across the floor all but shoving the box in you face, while panting completely red and too shy to make eye contact as he asks. And you just start sobbing and saying yes over and over before throwing yourself at him and just kissing him all over and he's just grinning like a fool.
